Alright - I tried to speak to a Sweetgreen customer service representative over the phone, but none of the phone numbers provided take you to an actual person to speak with, so I'll just leave a review here instead.
I had a hilariously bad customer experience at this location last Saturday (2/3/24). I arrived at the location in the early afternoon to find the place mostly empty. After waiting a little while, an employee came up and asked for my order...when I told him, he responded with various swear words emphasizing his validation in my choice. However, when I stated i wanted to replace one item in the salad, he gave me a weird expression and said something along the lines of "woah dude, you sure you want to do that? I wouldn't do that bro". The choice was to remove cherry tomatoes from the pesto salad and add more broccoli instead...
That's all good and fun, but then he proceeds to put the wrong cheese (feta) on the salad while halfassing the process, and comes to the dressing section. He asks how I want my dressing, stating "bro the answer is heavy, always go heavy". So I went heavy...with the wrong dressing. He didn't realize it, but when I asked if that was pesto, he stated "oh, nah it's not." I was under the impression that when he was swearing about how good my salad selection was, he'd at least know how to make it.
After an awkward few seconds, he sighs in annoyance and asks "ugh, do you want me to remake the salad"? Yeah dude I do, considering you used the completely wrong cheese and went HEAVY on a completely different dressing.
He sulks his way back to the beginning, and this time proceeds to just chat with the other employee there about random personal anecdotes, while forgetting my substitution I made to the salad. When he gets to the cheeses again he puts his hand in the feta...not having the heart to tell him that feta is not the cheese used for that salad, I told him to please replace that cheese with sharp parm instead...he looked confused but at least did that.
He then used the proper dressings while continuing to speak to his employee buddy, and gets to the checkout. He doesn't press the right buttons to activate the card reader for me to pay, leaving me there trying my card in different ways while his back is turned talking to the other employee for a minute.
Finally (I think) the manager turns around and scolds him to pay attention to the customer instead of the other employee. He gives a shrugged off look and moves on, while the manager presses the right button to activate the card reader.
While the guy turned away, I asked for bread because why not...poor guy fumbled the bread and dropped it while trying to give it to me. Just insult to injury.
Anyway, this wasn't the experience i was hoping to have while paying $16 for a salad. Go somewhere else instead
