I love how efficient their to-go system works. You just walk right in to pick up from the shelves you’re good to go. The variety of healthy drink options are great too, I got to try something new and loved it. Easily accessible by the Metro Rail and its kept clean both inside and outside seating. I made my own bowl but realized they had more menu options available in store than online. I’ll definitely be trying the elote bowl next time! Everything tasted so fresh and filling.

Refuses to provide drinking water for people unless they are buying food, would not let a homeless woman in the building even tho she was getting food. They discriminate based on your appearance, the only good employee is the lady at the register who was trying to help but was not allowed to by her employer. Do NOT give them a penny of your hard earned money, I hope this place shuts down

I got the caramelized garlic steak protein bowl and it was really good! Definitely filling enough for two meals. The steak was really tender

I'd give zero stars if I could. Just watched a video of this location, and one of your employees made a homeless woman wait outside for her food it was absolutely disgusting! There was a kind gentleman buying her food so I have no idea why she wasn't allowed to sit down inside. Thankfully Jocelyn was working she showed empathy and kindness! Give Jocelyn a damn raise or better yet give her the job of the jerk who made the woman go outside!!!

The entree was good, but definitely not worth $17 plus tax. The portions are VERY small and doesn't even take over the whole bowl. This was my first and last time eating here. I will stick to Chipotle, when I want a steak bowl.

I picked up my order via DoorDash pickup and my food has tons of little (~1 inch) plastic hairs in it. At least 3 every bite. Idk what they are or why they’re in there. Pls fix.

The fact that you can be in a business that serves people but have no empathy is ridiculous. Making a homeless woman wait outside while someone went and ordered for her on a hot day is ridiculous. You could’ve given that lady a minute to cool down and use the bathroom but no you had to act like snobs to good to help another human being. (This is for the management, the cashier Jocelyn was the only with a heart). Steer very clear of this restaurant if you have any sense of morals. There are plenty of other better more reasonably priced places near by.

First time trying Sweetgreen and it didn't disappoint. It reminded me of Cava. It was a quick walk from our hotel. We were greeted immediately and the staff was super sweet and helpful. I hope I'm able to stop by again before we head back to TN. I had the steakhouse chopped. Very fresh. The steak was tender abc the goddess dressing, very flavorful. We came at lunch time, and you can this is a fav amongst locals working near the restaurant. It was pretty quiet considering it was during lunch time. I totally recommend trying this place out!

The manager of this place needs to be fired. I don't care if someone is homeless or not, they are still a customer and deserve respect, not told to wait outside as if she is a dog. Best place to eat downtown. Ordered online and they have a specific area dedicated to takeout orders. Popular spot at lunch time. My order was accurate and ready on time. Delicious cant go wrong with a salad from here.

Came here for a light lunch. I built my own salad. I loved how friendly the staff were as soon as we walked in. It was my first time here so the lady walked me through the various choices. The salad was larger than I expected and very good. Highly recommend for a quick lunch option

They do not give free water even to paying customers. Would not recommend. There's a rude male worker there too

Absolutely disgusting. This is the second time I found a bug in my salad, and this one is a huge one with webs around it. Please clean your salad before serving to customers.

Jocelyn was AMAZING. Best customer service. Very kind and attentive. I can't say much about some of the other employees. Like the gentleman with the glasses. He had no name tag. 5 star rating alone is for Jocelyn

I tried Sweetgreen for the first time today at a vegan retreat. The food was cold, and I had the Shroomami bowl--salty portobello mushrooms and bland tofu. Customer service was excellent, especially since they weren't at their restaurant. The staff efficiently guided everyone in line and explained the options. I enjoyed the pesto dressing, but found it too oily. I'd give them another shot, but I'd prefer to visit their location next time.

Refused to provide water to a homeless woman. Someone bought her food making her a customer and they refused to allow her to sit inside. Boycott this location. Jacqueline was the only one who seemed to have any compassion for this lady. I sincerely hope karma return the The man kicked who refused her entry.

If you are downtown - you MUST try this place for lunch. Got 2 words for you Harvest Bowl - I add spicy broclli to my bowl. I am not a salad guy by any stretch of the imagination and I absolutely love their salads! Remember a time when you had a meal that left you feeling satisfied and good - not to heavy just right and you have a great rest of the day - thats how you feel when you eat here. If you work downtown - get over here already and see what you've been missing out on. #yourewelcome

I was hopeful about Sweetgreen as a new healthy option to put into my take out rotation, but I'm not sure it's going to make the cut. I tried the hot honey plate, which had blackened chicken, hot roasted sweet potatoes, warm quinoa, kale-cabbage slaw, roasted almonds, and hot honey mustard sauce. I added wild rice and spicy broccoli for an extra charge. I also got a couple of sauces on the side to see if I could find a favorite. - hot honey plate: chicken was cooked well but I didn't like the blackened taste that much, I liked that they gave a couple different types of roasted potatoes which added variety to the dish, the wild rice was chewier and had more texture than plain rice which I appreciated, the kale slaw was just ok as it was a bit hard to chew, almonds added a nice crunch and it was nice that they were broken up - spicy cashew sauce: had a nice kick to it, tasted really similar to the Trader Joe's spicy cashew dressing but a little spicier - Caesar: classic creamy Caesar dressing, pretty tasty - Hot honey mustard: sweet with just a hint of spice, if you like mustard you'll like this dressing The food tasted fine, but it wasn't super memorable and isn't something I'll crave. I think the dish just needed more flavors as everything kind of hit the same note. Even with the different add ins, the plate's components all had the same roasted taste. I think to really improve the dish and add flavor complexity, Sweetgreen could consider pickling an element or adding different sauces or spices to a couple of elements in the bowl. Overall, it isn't a bad place to get food from if you want something healthy.

Solid spot for a salad bowl. If you're at work looking for a healthy lunch then this is a great option. While I still have a hard time paying $10+ for a salad, the ingredients here are always fresh, and I do feel like you are given a reasonable portion size. Very important to remember - add the crispy rice!!! It's one of the toppings they offer, and it will take the bowl to a whole new level.

I'd rather spend $12 here than salata. Sweetgreens you can taste the freshness of their leafy greens. At first impression I thought I'd still be hungry by the portions they give but surprisingly I was full and I didn't finish my salad, that's always a great feeling. I will definitely be returning.

I come to this sweetgreen, probably twice a month. It's delicious, clean, the service is always wonderful and I love the location. I can honestly say that the only thing I don't like about Sweetgreen lately is their change in packaging. The little boxes that I've been receiving lately are really flimsy versus their old Cardboard bowls. I think they may be on backorder so I will continue to give them a chance, but that's literally my only complaint!

I tried to attempt one day to get sweetgreen for lunch around 11:45-12pm and well the line was out the door and wrapped around My friend Jeff has been raving about this place so this time we preordered. Really cool process ordered online and the pick up area has a waiting area and literally you will pick your order up on line a bookshelf area that says pick up! Which nice and efficient. My salad was delicious. I got the garlic chili shrimp bowl (local houston bowl) but I modified it a bit. Added mint, cilantro, cucumbers and basil. Subbed the nouc Cham vinaigrette with the miso sesame ginger dressing. Sooo when I opened my bowl I was like wow this is a lot of food and planned to save half for later in the day. well opps that wasn't the case, I enjoyed the whole salad . Was definitely satisfied! I say try this place! And if you're crunchy on time order online. If you sign up on the app, first timers get a coupon for a discount.#savings

It's nice to know that there are some healthy green options in Downtown. This is the place to go for a healthy lunch option and a solid salad bowl. The location of the restaurant is perfect for all people working in any part of Downtown, an easy walkable distance to get your hands on fresh and delicious food for you to enjoy. The atmosphere feels fresh and wonderful, they have simple seating and a marker if the table has been cleaned or not. You walk through a line and order like a cafeteria style, with big menus for you to see their various options. This being my first time here, I got the Kale Caesar Salad Bowl and man it was delicious! The right balance of ingredients, the food tasted fresh and I was ready to eat all of it! That might be my go-to order from now on. But don't neglect the other choices that they have! They serve hot bowls and other salad bowls for your enjoyment as well. The staff were nice and friendly, and now that I know that I'm within a few blocks away from my workplace from there, I'll be there more often!

The food was good, nothing amazing or super creative. I'm glad I got the pesto vinaigrette, which added the flavor and was very good. They also forgot my fork in a delivery, so I had to track one down.

Great healthy lunch spot downtown. Good salads and bowls that leave you feeling filled and satisfied but not stuffed. The harvest bowl was good but I don't think it's something I will ever be craving. I tends to get busy during lunch so if you're in a rush definitely get it to go!

Classic Sweetgreen goodness, now in downtown! I always order delivery from Sweetgreen through apps and now with this location, it gets to me even faster. I added goat cheese to the new curry cauliflower bowl and it was perfect. I love all the customization you can do (and the app is super easy). It always feels a bit pricey for a salad, but the ingredients are locally sourced, so delicious and always satisfying. I always get the spicy cashew sauce but this one came with the peppercorn one that was also delicious. Tip- you can get up to three dressings included, try a few to find your favorite and use what's left in a home-made dinner as a stir fry sauce or marinade. YUM

The vibe of this place is so cute. Found this gem on the gps, my husband and I wanted something healthy on a Friday afternoon. Not much drink choices but the salads and hot plates were excellent ‍ I got the Pesto chicken salad and he got the honey hot chicken and the honey mustard dressing is his fav. Be sure to check this place out if you feeling something healthy lots of salad topping choices.

I absolutely love these healthy dishes! Since I've first discovered Sweetgreen, I've had the privilege to explore so many nutritional options. All thanks to the amazing staff I'm currently training for my first Spartan Race and Sweetgreen has definitely kept me on track. 10/10 would recommend!

Delicious! I've eaten here three days in a row - it's that good. Love that I can order online and just walk in and pick up my fresh made lunch. The seasonal Rustic Tomato Harvest Bowl is my fave so far.

This used to be my favorite place to eat and I would order it at least 3-4 times a week. My biggest complaint is the kale. They used to only have kale leafs and ZERO stems in their mix and it was cut so fine that it was the softest kale I've ever had. In the past months, they have SO MANY stems in the kale and HUGE chunks of leafs. It's not being finely chopped anymore and it really affects the salad. I wish the employees would go back to taking their time and preparing the ingredients like they used to. It's what made them stand apart from other salad places. They also have started giving very small portions for toppings. Disappointed.

This has quickly become one of my favorite go to spots in downtown for lunch. Whenever I go I just randomly pick something off the menu and it never disappoints. Tabby is amazing! She's really sweet and always gives great recommendations. 10/10 recommend!

This place is amazing. The ingredients are always fresh and I have never had an issue with my food. During lunch hour, it is busy and there is a line but apart from that there is not much of a line. Also Tabby is AMAZING! I love her. She is always happy to help and has the greatest recommendations. This is my favorite location because of her.

The Caesar dressing smelled so bad that I couldn't even eat my salad and had to scrub my hands to get the stench off. Never experienced such a fowl smelling Caesar dressing.

very disappointed at the amount of chicken they put... it's not even a toddler portion! not a place to get your protein ! and anything else you ask for, they say 'it's extra' ... not worth it!!!
