Sunday 3/20/22, my husband and I ordered 2 salads with chicken - he got the buffalo, I got the valkyrae crunchy custom. By 3AM the next morning, we were both incredibly, incredibly sick (I'll save you the gross details) and hours later landed in urgent care. We walked through all the things we ate in previous days with the doctor, and the only option for making us sick were these Sweetgreen salads - either E.Coli in the lettuce, or salmonella in the chicken. We had high fevers, bodies ached, [gross details omitted], missed 4 days of work between us, had to drop out of a jury mid-trial, and miss a dua lipa concert. Bad timing, but when is it not bad timing for food poisoning?
Contacted sweetgreen Customer support, they said they'd get back to me within 6 hours to hear about the case - 48 hours later, no word.
Have ordered from this location many times, and while this was by far the worst, they disappointed us many times with consistency in ingredient quality, the product actually getting delivered, and follow up customer support. They provide a refund when they mess up, but don't offer to make it right beyond that (i.e. discount on next order, re-issuing and expediting the order).
No, no, no, no, NO! Save your stomachs and eat elsewhere.
