"We’re big fans of this sustainability-first spot, which is growing like crazy. The focus is on local farmers, proper sourcing, and environmental respect, which is also reflected in the hands-down delicious food. Besides the build-your-own salad bar, the bowl-centric dishes range from Mexican-inspired salads to basic cobbs—and in the true spirit of transparency, they reveal calorie content, too. Come lunchtime, the lines extend around the block."

I paid $33 for a delivery order that costs $22 in store ($11 in fees). It took an hour and a half for the order to arrive (I live 1 mile away) and when I opened my “salmon bowl” there was no salmon. Outrageously unprofessional and ridiculous. That is the first and last time I’ll be ordering delivery from Sweetgreen.

Google
I have been to a lot of Sweetgreens but this one is perfect. The team working there is so nice and sweet. Everyone is smiling and adding that extra little special touch. Even more amazing at the end of the day too!! The lighting is perfect and I even hung out for a few hours because I was so comfortable. They filled up my water multiple times even though the water station wasn’t working. And of course the salad was great. Even ordered a 2nd to go!! Definitely will be back

Google
Ordered the crispy rice bowl through Uber Eats and it arrived without chicken. Who wants to pay $20 for a salad with no protein. Don’t order from this location.

Christina Lei

Google
I ordered a chicken avocado salad for delivery and got a bowl of lettuce and rice.. this location is a joke as almost all of my previous deliveries from here have also been incorrect. This is definitely the last time I’ll ever order from here again. Do yourself a favor and avoid being disappointed from this store.

Google
Sahin has absolutely turned around the energy here, I feel so welcomed for some reason that sweet green and you have done a great job to make this one of your best locations. She is my favorite person to see when I grab my salad, and very grateful that she's on the team. Thank you and I'll be coming back many times again!

I recently had the pleasure of being served by Harmony at Sweetgreen, and I couldn't be more impressed! From the moment I walked in, Harmony's warm and welcoming demeanor immediately made me feel at home. She was attentive, knowledgeable, and took the time to ensure my order was exactly how I wanted it. Her positive energy and genuine enthusiasm for the food really stood out, making the whole experience so enjoyable. It's rare to encounter such excellent customer service, and Harmony truly went above and beyond. I’ll definitely be returning, thanks to the outstanding service she provided!

Google
I paid an extra $7 for steak and this is what I find when I get home: tiny burnt crumbs of meat. Each piece is microscopic and completely overcooked. Can’t believe I spend over $20 on this meal. This might be my last time going to sweetgreen

Google
Came to get me a steak bowl and and I was treated so nice by the staff . It was one in particular I believe her name was kaykay. She smiled the whole time and made me very comfortable. GREAT JOB SWEETGREEN!!

Yelp
I can eat sweet green every for lunch break. Absolutely love and the staff are very friendly

Yelp
This is the 4th time I have ordered from this Sweet Green and the portions are awful! Why do I only have 4 chickpeas in my bowl? and one slice of carrot? 2 pieces fo sweet potato and 4 small pieces of chicken??? and on top of that they don't seal the lids on the bowl. Every time I have uber eats the order the lid if off the bowl which is a serious sanitary issue. I am done with this location!!!!

Yelp
A sad addition to the neighborhood.. although it's good thing for the typical American diet .. you have to consider how a company is mass producing food .. Why do they have their lighting so wack ! do you know the owners ? Do the owners know you ? Do the owners care ? No the owners don't . Maybe just consider other local businesses like quinoa place or bagelsmith or Lucy's or ako, or glazed or Westville .. it is a lackluster experience and product and it has nothing to do with the people that work there !!! They are great people. Say no to gross lighting !!!
google avatar

Yelp
The steak is so expensive and the small amount you get tastes like beef jerky. Also, if you order from DoorDash I swear they don't do as well on your salad since you can't complain directly to the store.

Yelp
This is our terrible waiter :( We were never greeted, escorted nor offered a set nor a menu. She/he does however help out everyone who's white. Def not the place to be.

Yelp
I really hate taking to Google Reviews for severely negative reviews, but this location is shockingly bad. I've tried to order ahead at least 5 times over the past year, and each time has been minimum of 30 minutes past the time it was suppose to be ready AND missing ingredients. The staff are friendly enough, but it is a complete and utter disaster here. Hopefully the Greenpoint location will alleviate some of the stress delivery causes, but it's simply absurd that a location this important to the brand is THIS bad.

Yelp
I can understand why Sweetgreen has gotten such a bad rep--they do a lot of annoying things--but I've had pretty good experiences. That said, my order is easy, and I'm generally only order one thing, which is one of their composed salads, not a choose your own adventure, and the only special instruction is choosing a different dressing. I always getting the Super Green Goddess, which has a ton of ingredients, and is a pretty nice sized salad for just $10.49. That's before tax, and I pick it up, so I don't pay exorbitant delivery changes...nor tip for that matter, as I often have no human interaction there, since I order online and pick up. Yes, it is usually behind schedule. And yes, there have been some mistakes...one time they gave me two salads for some reason! But the I pay more and get less at other places, and this salad is delicious.

Yelp
Everything fresh, a great variety of lunch options and all very healthy. It tastes great too. Good grab and go option when you're busy at work

Yelp
Most days, I make my own salads, but recently I recalled how I hadn't been to sweetgreen in a while, and decided to stop in at their Williamsburg store. Located just off of Bedford Ave, it was relatively quiet for a weekday evening at around 7pm, but that also meant there wasn't much of a wait. While the prebuilt bowls sounded interesting, I knew what I was in the mood for and opted to create my own salad. I started with a shredded kale base, then added spicy broccoli, roasted sweet potatoes, cucumber, and lentils. For some extra protein, I went with the roasted tofu, and finished things off with the miso sesame ginger vinaigrette. Overall, the combination of flavors was great, and the dressing paired well with the roasted tofu and spicy broccoli. The price point is still a bit high for me to be a regular customer at sweetgreen, but I won't hesitate to return whenever I don't feel like making my own salad.

Yelp
So you know when you do a hard ass leg workout....then you get home and say...you know what? Let me try and order something healthy and prolong my life and get sweetgreen. So you order a crispy rice bowl and substitute the arugula for the kale (because it give it that extra crisp). Then your order comes and it looks like that!? There's no carrots...there's no rice?? How do you have a crispy rice bowl with no rice!?....and to addd salt to the wound..you give me a teaspoon of chicken. I weigh 220lbs.......Maaaaaaaan I'm soo disappointed, sad, disheartened, confused and hurt... I can't believe you Williamsburg Sweetgreen. You broke my heart tonight. This relationship is over. Ihy, Delete my number.

Yelp
I have a wheat allergy. The staff always washes their hands and changes gloves, happily. Delicious, clean, healthy salads and free from wheat make this the perfect chain for me. Thanks SG!

Yelp
Ive been to sweetgreens all over from NY to NJ. Never had an issue. I was very disappointed that even after ordering for pick up and still leaving a tip the portions were sooooo small. It seemed i got less and less of each item on my hot honey chicken bowl. I wouldnt really care about the presentation of the food if the portions were better, I got like two tablespoons of the kale salad, a teaspoon of the nuts, the pesto chicken salad was worse, ordered chicken didnt get the chicken..... everything was ordered online so as long as whoever was serving was reading the order there was no room for inaccuracies. Very disappointing. Might try ordering again from this location but its giving fool me once shame on you fool me twice shame on me. Unfortunate.

Yelp
I absolutely love this place and I come here pretty often . Today the person who made my salad , as nice as she was picked up the salmon with her gloved hand rather then using the utensil that was there . Not only is it unsanitary it shows a lack of food handlers training . For all staff Please refrain from doing this.
google avatar

Yelp
Little does Dee know, she's the reason I come to this Sweetgreen everyday (besides the tasty bowls OFC) Above and beyond service from her every single time. If it weren't for her I'd go to the salad bar down the street! I'm very particular about the energy of the people who prepare my food.

Carla A.

Yelp
I never, ever write reviews. But a word of caution. I ate here yesterday and got violent food poisoning. Wait staff was friendly, going down the food was good. This is the second time I've gotten ill from a sweetgreen. Please focus more on freshness and cleanliness so this doesn't happen again!
google avatar

Joanne H.

Yelp
DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE!!! I should've read the reviews but i thought any sweet green would abide by the same standards. i paid over 20 dollars for a salad to be delivered and they forgot TWO of my dressing/sauces, so now i have this dry af salad and a sad life.
google avatar

Laura Jean O.

Yelp
Fresh, but adding a tiny scoop of chicken will bump up your bill $3 so keep that in mind when you choose your salads. Claim that free bread.
google avatar

Leemor Y.

Yelp
Looking for a fresh, seasonal, customizable salad place? Then this is the best chain to hit up. Big fan of their kale Caesar (veggie tip: swap chicken for avocado). Most of my salads average $10-12. Good lunch spot.

Yelp
My pickup order was ready on time, store was clean and staff was efficient. I can't say the same for all Sweetgreen locations so the Williamsburg location was a refreshing change of pace from the more chaotic locations (Dumbo, NoLita for example). The outdoor seating they had was great too - even had umbrellas to shield us from the very hot, sunny day.

Yelp
Review is based solely upon the food itself that I tasted since the salad from Sweetgreen was purchased for me... therefore I did not have the opportunity to interact w/ Sweetgreen Staff or to take in the ambiance. One Friday Afternoon while working in the office, my Colleague/Co-worker/Cancerian Sister announced that she was going outside for lunch. Unable to make an immediate decision on where she wanted to get lunch, she told me that she would contact me if she decides to get something from Sweetgreen. Around 30 minutes later, I received a text message from her indicating that she actually was at Sweetgreen located on the Northside of Williamsburg...Did I want her to get me something? Yes, of course I did-lol. Options were mentioned. I was politely informed that they have a nice selection of salads and the choice was to order me a Chicken + Brussel Salad ($13). It was the first time that I have ever tried anything from Sweetgreen so I eagerly waited in anticipation for my salad. My coworker returned to the office and I thanked her as she handed me the bag. Sweetgreen prepared a bowl of robust looking colorful salad w/ slices of bread. My Chicken + Brussels Salad consisted of Roasted Chicken, Roasted Brussel Sprouts, Roasted Sweet Potatoes Apples, Raw Walnuts, Organic Mesclun + Chopped Romaine Lettuce w/ Cranberry Maple Vinaigrette Dressing. Such a healthy, nice salad w/ plentiful chunks of everything that tasted fresh and it was filling! The semi-sweet yet tangy dressing perfectly complimented the salad. Sweetgreen also has a seasonal newsletter that they hand out to customers. Their current Fall 2018 Newsletter highlights various information on their salads + hot food items. The Chicken + Brussel Salad was a hit so I will be trying other salads for lunch in the future!

Yelp
I am sad to give Sweetgreen one star, since I love their salads. Unfortunately, after my fourth consecutive incorrect delivery order from the Williamsburg location, I will not be ordering again!! Note that when I say wrong, I mean completely bonkers level incorrect. I am vegan and cannot eat the chicken and salmon dishes I have received. And forget about having new food sent - it is damn near impossible to get through to a human being at their location (trust me, I've tried several times and not gotten through even once)

Yelp
I came to this location because of all the brooklyn locations, they have the highest Yelp rating. My first visit during the day was great. The salad was tasty, the customer service was amazing. I fully understood what set this location apart. This was last month on the 11th of October. Only drawback is portions were a little underwhelming. I enjoyed the food and experience so much, I went back on the 15th of October, this time in the evening. Completely opposite experience. Bad customer service and underwhelming portions. This time, the barcode scanner was also down. Anyway, my third and final visit was on the evening of November 5th. There was something crawling where the food was. Not sure what's going on with this location, but I've been going to sweetgreen for years and bugs are where I draw the line. See video...it won't let me post a video. I will post stills. So you can see it was moving. Smh Started with 4 stars. Removed 1 for poor customer service and 2 for the bug where the food is.

Yelp
This is not too complicated. I've lived across the street from this place since it first opened, but I tended to shy away from it because, during Covid, especially, it was largely responsible for our block being overrun with double-parked cars and delivery guys on scooters and motorized bikes who simply rode wherever the hell they felt like riding and were a menace to pedestrians. Still, they seemed to do a pretty substantial business, so I figured they must be doing something right. This evening I decided to try them. I ordered my food online, and walked in fifteen minutes later to pick it up. There were four people working there: two women making salads for a couple of walk-in customers at the salad bar, one women and one man in the back. After I'd stood at the empty check-out counter for four or five minutes, the woman in the back came over and greeted me warmly. "Name?" she said. I told her my name, and without a word, she handed me my order. She clearly hates her job, but I don't need this kind of incivility in a business. As for the "fish taco" salad, the greens were pretty tasty, and the fish was simply inedible. I won't be crossing back across the street any time soon.

Yelp
Before the quarantine, I used to order Sweetgreen for my lunch once or twice a week and their app is super easy to use. I has worked from home for three months and hasn't had sweetgreen. I miss their food so much so we had a detour to Williamsburg for our pick up orders. The decor of sweetgreen at Williamsburg location is cozy, artsy and wide-spaced. However, the line arrangement of pickup or order wasn't clear and the staff wasn't familiar with their set up either. We had a Shroomami Warm Bowl and a Chicken Chimichurri Plate. The food looks better than it tastes and the portion was kind of small compared to what I had at Soho. Overall, we made our visit there but it was really disappointed.
google avatar

Khrishan S.

Yelp
So I went here for the second time and the prior visit was okay the only disappointment was that the cashier charged me for protein and didn't get it for either order, but definitely charged for it . This visit was a total disappointment, no corn for the summer corn bowl so I asked the young lady making it to put sweet potatoes instead, I also placed an order for the harvest bowl instead of chicken I wanted steel head fish , all the ingredients for the harvest bowl about a few things was missing , goat cheese, roasted almonds. They also had no bread to go with the bowls . Alot is going on I totally understand but unfortunately after spending $34.24 and myself and friend was very unhappy with all un the order. No flavor, very salty and I believe I should be compensated for the whole experience and disappointment. I want ever go back to this location again...

Yelp
I have come to this sweetgreen every Saturday for the last almost 6 months at least. I have to say, this is the worst chain salad place I have ever been. The fundamental thing about this place is that 90% of the people working here ooze of apathy and can't be bothered to prep ingredients when they open so they are always missing things, or to include the right items listed in the salad. Only a couple times I've had someone who cares. Every other time, I need to remind them to add something that's listed or if I can get a bit more of the toppings because it's like NO ONE can even be bothered to make your $15 salad. Don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to whine for even good service- just like... a bare minimum of getting my order right. Having the things on the menu.
google avatar

Eleonora F.

Yelp
Would love to give zero stars if I could. The entire staff at this location is extremely rude and unprofessional. I dealt with two individuals who spoke to me with a highly aggressive tone. I felt so uncomfortable with one of the employees staring me down that I took my salad to go. How ironic to pay close to $20 for a salad and get bottom of the barrel service. Furthermore, noticed that a couple of employees wore their masks under their noses and one employee wearing his pants under his bottom, touching the food and then pulling up his pants with the gloves he's prepping food with. Avoid this place at all costs. Dig Inn employees right next door are a lot friendlier.
google avatar

Robert M.

Yelp
Associates know nothing, not able to answer basic ingredient questions. Salad is rotting, black slimy leaves...so dissatisfied with this location/quality

Kingsley N.

Yelp
service sucks never coming again people who work there have attitudes which then gives me one and before I go to jail for engaging in that type of behavior I rather just never go again , I just ordered from the Williamsburg location at about 4 pm i ordered my food and they seem to have a problem with you asking questions so that's the first draw also seen this other lady yelling at this young lady because she was asking questions or wasn't answering fast enough,so after i ordered my food my plate was left there with no cover and everyone just reaching over my open plate as they fixed everyone else's , so then after about 3-5 mins I told them I didn't want it anymore, then they have a attitude like I was wrong for not wanting it anymore
google avatar

Rachel P.

Yelp
Placed an order and a "key" item as they called it was missing. Contacted Sweetgreen and they did nothing to rectify the situation. Thankfully Uber eats refunded me for the missing items but very disappointed that Sweetgreen refused accountability.
google avatar

Stacia K.

Yelp
I love me some sweetgreen, but sometimes it disappoints me. This time I ordered ahead and of course the bread was stale (why is that so common at all sweetgreen?!) and the little container of almonds was very sparsely filled and had mostly almond dust on the bottom. The kale also wasn't very fresh. I wish it was more consistent! I also wish they would bring back the Hummus Tahina but that's a separate issue!
google avatar

Moorissa T.

Yelp
Got a custom bowl and crispy rice bowl from sweet green! First time introducing my family to this place. 8/10 from the OGs. Sweet greens indeed!

Yelp
Just bought a salad from here. I work in the area so I stopped here for a late dinner because I am in the office late. Upon arrival, I picked up my internet order then headed over to the utensil area. I couldn't see any forks. I proceeded to advised the employee that I needed a fork. She replies, "We're out of forks!". How am I supposed to consume my $20 salad??? I was frustrated, so I had to head over to the Duane Reade to purchase a box of forks so I could eat at work. When I got to work, I noticed my salad is missing items. So much time and money wasted for nothing. Never again. If your establishment truly values customer service, you would let your customers know before purchase that you're out of items or YOU would go to the local area stores and buy utensils for your customers. I'm writing this as I'm consuming my dry salad because apparently they were out of dressing too. Guess I should of picked that up at the Duane Reade too.
google avatar

Frida C.

Yelp
It took 1.5 hours for my delivery order to be made. I didn't know they now have this FARM TO TABLE concept and they must just went to Long Island to pick up all the ingredients. I hope the food will taste as fresh as what I'm imagining in my head!
google avatar

Evelin C.

Yelp
I love salads. I have been visiting this location many times over and I leave happy every time. The lines move fast and the staff is nice. I can imagine the kind of customers who get an attitude and the reasons why. If you are the picky, pain in the butt type, use the app! Make all the changes your heart desires and pick it up by the front without having to have a human interaction. Don't expect these employees to be smiling when you don't know what you want when it's your turn to order. Anyhow, I am a HUGE fan of the Kale Caesar salad which I substitute the chicken for hummus. I have tried their bowls and other salads but the Kale Ceasar is the ultimate for me. The place can use a little TLC as far as cleaning goes. I once received a free salad because they didn't have many of the ingredients that my salad consisted of. I have seen them do it for others too. Keep this in mind if it happens to you. You're welcome.
google avatar

Brian K.

Yelp
I love this place, I go there everyday. Listen, Sweetgreen and I go way back, we are buddies, pals, amigos, whatever you want to call us. Bottom line, I had a lot of respect for Sweetgreen. Key word, had. The past two days, they got my order wrong both days. It was so disappointing because they left my protein out of the order. ALL I HAD WERE LEAVES!! WHAT AM I, A COW?? Jokes aside, I am unsatisfied with my orders, but I will continue to order from sweetgreens because I am basic like that. P.S. They left out my dressing. #bland
google avatar

Sumin C.

Yelp
Sweetgreen is my favorite salad spot. Their ingredients are fresh and the salads are actually pretty filling. One of my favorites is their Harvest Bowl because I love how the goat cheese, apples, and sweet potatoes mix so deliciously with kale. The wild rice in the salad also makes it pretty filling! But recently, I got into making my own custom salad and I saved it on my Sweetgreen app so I can conveniently order it beforehand and pick it up at the store. I always use their miso sesame ginger sauce because I LOVE it!! It's so yummy and makes any veggies so delicious. I would put that sauce on anything because it's that good!
google avatar

Tiffany G.

Yelp
Sweetgreens was pretty disappointing. I wanted to try it because everyone raves about how amazing their salads are. Honestly, it's good, but def not with the money. I ordered the crispy rice bowl. I liked the texture, but the flavor was underwhelming. I paid $15 after delivery, but I could probably make the bowl at home for less than $2.

Be D.

Yelp
Sweetgreen used to be my spot for the last three years. I will come here and get salads and spend over $20 on a salad with salmon in it. I haven't been here in about six months came here because I was craving a salad got rid of the pickled carrots and now I have pickles. Are you guys serious who eats pickles on a salad? The portions are getting ridiculously small for the price. I just went in and got a salad with no meat and spent 15 bucks. This is absolutely crazy sweet of making my own salad at home and coming to get you guys delicious dressing because the dressing is amazing I will not be coming back this weekend or supporting or no longer. I hate when companies fix things that are not broken or business articles good in the quality goes down. It sucks because I really enjoyed it. It was $20 that I didn't mind spending. You guys won't get any more of my money.
google avatar

Anna K.

Yelp
Really love the make-your-own salad option here. Every salad I've gotten has been bomb; the spicy broccoli is particularly noteworthy. But one star off because they ALWAYS forget the utensils even when you check off that you need them.
google avatar

Kelis W.

Yelp
Worse location, the women serving me on was rude. I requested to add things on my salad and it was a problem for her to add it. I like the Court Street locating better!

Veronica C.

Yelp
normally fine but today was especially terrible. The two employees barely spoke to me. When they did their volume was barely comprehensible. It was almost empty in the store, Friday early afternoon around 12:40PM. Then I went to the park to enjoy my salad, took 3 bites and threw it away. It was gross. Not sure what happened but it made me to never want to waste $14.60 on a sweet green salad with zero protein.
google avatar

Maud F.

Yelp
The staff here is OUT OF CONTROL RUDE. A short black staff member yelled at us to show vaccination proof after his salad making colleague was also rude. He came only to us to ask for vaccine proof and never asked the other 10 diners. SWEETGREEN please get better staff at this location. Will not spend money there until you hire normal human beings who are not aggressive and miserable.

Robbie L.

Yelp
I love SG but guys please sort out your apple situation. There is nothing worse than furry fluffy apples in the salad. Someone should be tasting them before cutting them up maybe? Ruins the salad and has happened way too many times
google avatar

Dionne H.

Yelp
Yes I like this place. It has a large seating area , outside seating, delicious drinks, kind staff, clean bathrooms but the portins seem smaller than other locations. I visited two days in the row. The first day I did not have breakfast took my time and ate my fish taco salad to stay. It came in a ceramic bowl. That portion was actually larger than the one on the next day. The next day I dus not leave satisfied but oh well. The salads are pretty expensive so there is no reason to get less than you would normally
google avatar

Tiffany W.

Yelp
I love sweetgreen; especially their Kale Caesar. I hadn't been here in a while and one of those bad boys was long overdue. I went with a few friends for a late lunch and I've only got two problems with this location; 1. The tables/seating area isn't clean: there are wet/damp spots in various places on most of the tables and crumbs galore. 2. Terrible Cell service: I always struggle to access my sweetgreen app when inside the restaurant, much less make a call or send a text. Could just be me and my phone service, but other friends with different providers claim the same.

Tara A.

Yelp
The recipes are great, but the portions given when you order are comically small. I had one of the salads and they put about three slices of cucumber and four small slices of tomato in the massive bowl. You're better off making it yourself (or going to Chipotle).

Monica P.

Yelp
DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS PLACE. I placed my order at 7:00pm. My order was completely incorrect. It took over an hour to receive the order on a Wednesday night. There is NO way to contact the store to correct the situation (new salad or refund). You have to text a mainline, and they never responded. I ordered the Buffalo Chicken salad with avocado and egg. It only came with 3 pieces of chicken, 3 cherry tomatoes, less than a teaspoon of blue cheese, and no dressings. Don't risk it. Not worth the $25 I will never see again, or the hour I spent waiting for my dinner. Update: They finally responded an hour later. They only agreed to provide me future credits if I would agree to download their app, create an account, and order from them again in the future. Luckily, Seamless eventually reimbursed me.

Yelp
It seems impossible to order from this particular SweetGreen without a long hair in your food. I have had to pull a long string of hair out of my teeth from their salads, three times over the last year; the latest of which was yesterday. The frequency of such is mind boggling. It's a shame because I love their salads. But I honestly get disgusted thinking about getting another mouth of hair that I won't order here anymore. A tragedy in Williamsburg.
