Google
i’ve been waiting YEARS for sweetgreen to make its way to the valley, and they did not disappoint!!my salad is soo fresh and delicious! the bread was incredible. the staff was friendly and the store was spotless. what more could you ask for?! my all time favorite salad spot! i’m already craving more!!

Google
I normally LOVE Sweetgreen but this location seriously skimps on dressing. I’ve ordered from this location a few times now - I’ve tried asking for “heavy dressing” and clicked “two portions”. Every time, my salad is bone dry. Not a great experience. This photo is taken after requesting “two portions, heavy, mixed in salad”.

Google
After a long day we wanted a quick option for sustenance! Found Sweetgreen by accident but will now seek it out in the future. We loved the Chicken Avocado Ranch. It was enough to share, fresh and delicious! Great combination of flavors. Ordering was a bit odd, kiosk style, but we were in and out in about 10 minutes. Would very much recommend.

Google
Good food, but the ordering system is ridiculous. 4 stations to order food but it takes an average of 5 minutes to place an order because of the learning curve. Not worth waiting to order.

Google
Sweetgreen was a much needed addition to Scottsdale quarter! A quick, healthier, grab and go spot. I would advise you to go yourself and formulate your own opinion. I would not pay attention to what other reviews have said. They haven’t even been open for a week yet, so of course somewhere new and highly anticipated is going to have to work through some kinks and yes, you would probably have to wait a little as everyone else was also waiting on this place to come to town! I feel like the prices are pretty solid considering what you get, the flavor of the food, and the portion sizes. The staff has also been super friendly each time I have gone in so far. I will say my only “con” is that it feels like there is no convenient place to stand when you are waiting for your food. It’s very easy to be in anyone’s way in there. So to help that I’ve just been trying to order my food through the app instead and give it a little time before heading over to pick it up so it’s less struggling on picking a place to wait. I’m sure as time goes by though this will not be as much of an issue! I would highly recommend sweetgreen to anyone!!

Google
Super happy Sweetgreen is in AZ! Just like it is in California, fresh and creative flavors, this will be my go to healthy spot.

Google
So warm and welcoming. The smell when you walk in of fresh roasting vegetables is something you can’t get perceive from reading a review, you have to be there!! I ordered the Shroomami. It is the best vegetarian dish I have ever had. It was so filling I was full 2/3 of the way through eating it! (I still finished it though because of how delicious it was) Can’t wait to go back and try something else.

Google
Food was great. But something weird happened with the manager at this location. I ordered a hibiscus tea. $4 for a glass of it. When it came, it had pebble ice to the absolute top of the cup. It has probably 2oz of actual liquid in the cup. I complained about it but the manager wanted nothing to do with the conversation. I was told it was their policy that They couldn’t add anymore unless I originally asked for no ice. Made no sense.

Yelp
Sweetgreen gets 5 stars from me. The restaurant was pretty busy (we went on Black Friday), but the ambiance had a good, lively energy without feeling chaotic. I had the Steak Mezze Bowl, which was fresh, flavorful, and generously portioned. I left feeling full with enough to take home for another meal. They offer a great mix of standard bowls and build-your-own options, so there's something for everyone. Even with the crowd, service was decently quick and efficient. Overall, a solid spot for a tasty, satisfying meal.

Yelp
The new Sweetgreen at Scottsdale Quarter is incredible! I stopped in for a quick lunch and was blown away by how fresh everything tasted, which is honestly one of the freshest salads I've had in Scottsdale. The ingredients were super crisp, flavorful, and you can really tell they prioritize quality. Definitely one of the best salads I've had in a long time. The coolest part? They have a robot/automated kitchen machines that help with ordering and prepare your food are quick and amazing. It makes the whole process fast, smooth, and kind of fun and definitely a unique touch that sets this location apart. The space is clean, modern, and bright, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Staff was still on hand and accommodating for additional requests. Whether you're grabbing something healthy on the go or want a reliable, tasty meal, this Sweetgreen is absolutely worth the stop. I'm definitely coming back!

Yelp
Finally got to try this place out and it was not at all busy when we stopped by on Saturday. They have four kiosks to order from and only one was busy used. We ordered two bowls and a lemonade. I ordered the Chicken Avocado Ranch bowl which consisted of - Antibiotic-free blackened chicken, avocado, pickled onions, apples, tortilla chips, white rice, chopped romaine and seed oil-free green goddess ranch. I also added gorgonzola beans, spicy broccoli and crispy onion. My bowl was good. It was flavorful and stuffed to the brim. The chicken was seasoned, cooked well, and the lettuce was fresh. To drink, I had the regular lemonade and it was super sour. There seemed to only be one small size and there are no refills. For the cost, not worth it tbh. There is a water station with cups and free water by the pickup area. The inside was clean and we sat inside to eat.

Yelp
I just left a review a few days ago but I introduced this place to my family and we had it tonight. This time, I was able to take in more of the environment and it was actually really cool! They apparently operate with an "Infinite Kitchen" (shown) that makes the bowls from the ordering kiosks. I've never seen anything like it. This is their first location in Arizona too, I feel so lucky to be experiencing this new tech. Everybody loved what they got, and their portions are really controlled and fresh. Will be coming again soon.

Yelp
So happy sweetgreens made its way over to the west coast! Yes, this is not a cheap salad/bowl place like say Salad & Go for example, but the ingredients are high quality and unique! I did BYO with arugula and spring mix, roasted tofu, warm Portobello mix, veg slaw, roasted sweet potatoes, spicy broccoli, runny tomatoes, crispy onions, crispy rice with green goddess ranch and Caesar. Yes a mouthful and boy did I fill up my mouth! It was heavy! So many great flavors, and I love how there are seasonal ingredients too. My salad was ready SO FAST and it's so nice you order on an iPad type thing first rather than shout and point on the salad line for what I want. I will be back. Very nice employees And nice space!

Yelp
I've been a huge fan of Sweetgreen since I lived in Chicago 10 years ago, then San Francisco and finally after 5 years of living here they finally opened one! I'm a die-hard Harvest Bowl fan, I don't order anything else. But, I did try their new focaccia which was a delicious add. It is super quick and easy to order, especially good on nights we're feeling too lazy to cook.

Yelp
Wow! Finally a great salad spot with all my favorites! What a perfect addition to Scottsdale!! So many menu options to choice from. Large, healthy choices and easy ordering. Staff is so accommodating with special and extra requests. The automated kitchen machines that prepare your food are quick and sooooo amazing!!! Brings fast food to a new level!!
google avatar

Yelp
Super fresh food. Service was quick and friendly. A little crowded at the counter area as people waited for their orders. Ordered a drink they have pebble ice and even better the drink was not all ice with a little drink

Yelp
Great tasting clean, healthy food! Very casual place. You go up to a kiosk and place your order yourself. Love that they don't use any seed oils. Amazing salads and bowls. The protein was tender and full of flavor. You can tell the meats are of high quality. Wish they had more options for beverages. I tried their strawberry mint lemonade and it was way tooo sweet. Had to keep diluting it with water. But we would definitely come back.

Yelp
The service is fast - order from the iPad and wait for your name to be called! Food was great. I enjoyed that I can customize what to have in my bowl even if it's a set meal in the menu and loved the brussel sprouts. I wish they had more trash cans available or maybe I just didnt see it but I had to toss my trash on the bin across the street!
google avatar

Yelp
We had lunch here and absolutely loved it! Healthy options with so much flavor. We also loved the pomegranate apple drink. The self ordering process was quick and easy and the dine in area was clean and has a very simple and casual feel.

Yelp
The salad that i ordered was not my favorite but I really liked this place. I got the arugula salad and it was just not my cup of tea. The inside was clean and it was not busy. The workers seemed friendly and they welcomed us in as we walked in. I will be back to give them another try!

Yelp
I'm so happy that we finally have a Sweetgreen in Arizona! My visit yesterday was really enjoyable. I ordered the caramelized garlic steak bowl with pesto vinaigrette and added sweet potatoes. It was my first time with their touchpad ordering system and the woman behind the counter was really helpful. My lemonade was delicious and fresh, and my food was so good and so filling. The small dining room was nice, but I got my food to go. My only (very small!) complaint was that the water in the water dispenser was warm and ice was not easily available--I would have had to go back around the corner and ask the very busy staff. But I'll be back!

Yelp
Great new addition to Scottsdale and I have always wanted to try this spot. I downloaded the app which made it easier to order ahead. Definitely recommend it as it can get busy and it's just easier to order and pick up. You can still eat your food there, as the to go orders are on the shelf ready to go. There's bags and more off to the side if you are taking it out too. Lots of combinations and options and on the app you can clearly choose exactly what you want and don't want

Yelp
Welcome to the Valley sweetgreen! Here you can find fast casual, healthy food options that you can customize to your taste. Order through the app or at the counter via a touch pad. And behind the scene they have a huge machine that makes your bowl. Be it a salad or a protein bowl there is something for everyone.

Yelp
The Sweetgreen opening its first location in Arizona was promoted heavily. I signed up for the reward program weeks ago and received several emails promoting their Opening Day event from 10:00am to 2:00pm. I enjoyed the free scoop of Jeni's Ice Cream (located a few doors down in the Quarter.) However, Sweetgreen had run out of the promised Sweetgreen swag before my 12ish arrival. I guess they spent their money on mass advertising versus buying sufficient opening day swag for those that came to check out the new restaurant in town. I wish them luck. Mixt, another California based, casual salad restaurant, was located on the diagonally opposite corner in the Scottsdale Quarter. Mixt didn't survive and no longer has any locations in Arizona. Employees were nice and helpful. The salad machine assembly aspect was interesting. However, I didn't see enough difference in the salad to justify the higher price over the quickly expanding restaurant chain in the Valley, Salad and Go.

Yelp
So happy Sweetgreen finally opened up in AZ! I stopped by for their soft opening and grabbed a build your own bowl. I got chicken, steak and tons of veggies. The bowl was $22 but I do feel it's a pretty good bang for your buck as I made two meals out of it. Service was great and they were very attentive although it was kind of crazy inside due to the sold opening. It's cool to see machines make most of your meal and an added human touch at the end. I loved their lemonade + sweet healthy treats they have as well.

Yelp
I was so excited to try sweet greens when it came to Scottsdale, and was not blown away. I'm sure it will get better, but due to the hype of the restaurant coming here to town, the line was out the door. We quickly ordered, and was told it would be a 3-5 minute wait. However, 40 minutes passed and still no food. Finally we heard our name and got our food. I am trying to give them grace given how packed it was but would recommend hiring more for the massive foot traffic. We finally got our food, and it was very tasty! I do love the food and all the combinations you can choose from, but the wait and short staffing issues made this a 3 star.

Yelp
Didn't love our experience We went on a week day and the place was buzzing. The interior is cute. It's a self ordering process. Once the food is ready, they call you up for pick up. We got their protein bowls, Salmon and steak. The salmon was incredibly dry and the steak was way overcooked. The overall bowl looks sloppy although it was through the machine. Service was lacking. We asked if they could wipe the tables down and the staff yelled at each other until they agreed who should handle it. It's bizarre to us. Overall, we had high expectations and they did not meet it.

Sabrina M.

Yelp
I've been going to Sweetgreen for years in Los Angeles and was honestly so excited when Scottsdale finally opened one. But this location feels nothing like the real Sweetgreen experience. You order on an iPad and your bowl is made entirely by machines--so there's no human interaction, no one to make adjustments or customize your order in real time, and the quality definitely reflects that. My bowl had maybe three pieces of chicken total, and the rest was basically a pile of pickled onions, half an avocado, and tortilla chips. It didn't feel fresh or balanced the way Sweetgreen normally is. On top of that, you're prompted to tip even though there's no actual service happening--no one is preparing your food or engaging with you. Overall, it just feels impersonal and low quality, which is really disappointing for a brand that's supposed to be all about fresh, customized food and hospitality.

Christin W.

Yelp
Food is terrific - I would love to be a loyal customer and regular customer BUT --- went on 6 November and ordered 2 harvest bowls. But, after ordering, was encouraged by employee to sign up for app for bonus points. great! asked for refund so I could order on app. No problem he said. No food going to waste, etc. "Refund should show up in 3-5 business days." I re-ordered and paid on the app, all good. I wait a week and there is a double charge on my card (expected - one by card, one on card through their app) but no refund. I contact the store - no help. I contact my credit card company and file a dispute. Sweetgreen comes back and says no - and I waited 12 days to file the dispute (it was exactly 1 week - 13 November). Super sad as I love love love their food and would have loved to had them as a go-to.

Yelp
Been here many times , it's always good. I like their protein bowl witch come with purple rice and blacken chicken

Yelp
Wow. I have never experienced such rude employees before. I never write reviews about restaurants, but this experience left me shaken. From being laughed at and made fun of to yelled at about opening a side door to eat on the patio... mind you it was the same door I saw guests opening and closing a week prior. Food was good, but the service will be the reason my family and I never return.

Makala R.

Yelp
Ordered 3 meals for delivery. Food was delivered over an hour and ten minutes past expected time. Received no notification regarding significantly delayed delivery. Had to personally call driver who said the store forgot our order. Received only half of ordered meals and food was cold. Received 2 meals from another persons order. Tried to contact support through website. The AI bot initially offered a full refund, but then revoked said refund because there were currently too many issues with orders. Additionally, cannot speak to a human at the store. Horrible customer service.

M K.

Yelp
Brand new Sweet-green in the Scottsdale Quarter and has very healthy salad-based bowls with protein and many other add ons to choose from. So the bowls are built to order and the fill up process is automated and they have very friendly customer servers-:) The ambiance is casual and similar to a fast food place, but the food they offer is over the top much healthier for your body, and will be our default go to for lunch and dinner-:)
google avatar

Kyle N.

Yelp
Been to other Sweetgreen locations outside of AZ plenty of times and this location is not up to standard. I've tried ordering from here twice now in the few weeks they've been open and they're out of key ingredients. This time they were out of wild rice and said "it takes an hour to make". Ok, then maybe you should have started making it when you were running low instead of waiting until you're out? It also took them 10 minutes to make a salad when the entire kitchen is automated, so what is the staff even doing? Mismanaged location which is super unfortunate because I was excited to have Sweetgreen in the Valley.

David U.

Yelp
Great food, minimal wait time, cool clientele and healthy! Price is fair for what you get.
google avatar

Andrea C.

Yelp
Was there last Saturday around 2pm, nobody explained how the ordering worked. The place was packed with people waiting on their food. The iPad said wait time was 3-5 min, it was obvious that it wasn't going to the be the case. It took 45 min to get our food, the people working the counter had no idea what they were doing, they had a poor lady who couldn't see reading names on peoples orders, there was lettuce all over the floor and utensils (salad tongs) on the floor. Absolutely disgusting. The food is not worth it.
google avatar

Sharon C.

Yelp
My son and I went today on opening day. The presentation looked nothing like the pictures. The warm roasted sweet potatoes were mush, the broccoli was cold. The garlic steak was awful and tasted like cheap quality meat for the cost - $59 for two build your own bowls and two drinks- that did include a tip. I was hoping to be excited about this place, needless to say we will not be returning.

Charlene T.

Yelp
Staff very efficient and attentive. The food was fresh and very good. The seasonal menu offerings were a nice touch, it keeps the menu fresh.

Tiffany H.

Yelp
Food was amazing. Customer service was terrible. We stood at the counter because we had questions about the ingredients. Employees walked right past us multiple times. We asked if we could order in person and they refused and told us we had to self order on the screen. They were too busy with cleaning up and seemed too anxious to close up, get us out of there. When ordering on th computer screen, we asked for assistance on how to get reward points for the order and the employee said, "It's too late, you can try getting reward points next time." Food came out fast and was delicious, but customer service was horrible and I'd never go to this location again.
google avatar

Monica H.

Yelp
Super disappointed because I'm a regular sweet greens Customer in Los Angeles and Maryland so I was excited that it was finally opening here because I appreciate the healthy oils and grass fed meat. Extremely disappointed because first of all ordering from the iPad is annoying because when you go to sweet green you get to interact with and tell them what you like and don't like and how much or how little you want of something. However that's not a dealbreaker for me... The dealbreaker for me is the fact that I got the garlic steak protein plate and very tiny amount of meat very tiny amount of sweet potatoes very tiny amount of broccoli and an insane amount of quinoa so the portions and ratios are extremely off at this location and you are getting ripped off for the protein compared to all of the other locations I've been going to for years. I don't know if they are purposefully skimping out on the protein and the portions and just giving you a lot of extra grain instead but it was a very disappointing experience and I'm not as excited they are here now. I don't know why they would change the portion ratios or if they are experimenting to see if anybody notices. It's also disconnecting not being able to order from a human. I can understand if I was ordering an advance from the app and just wanted to pick it up but if I walk into your location I want to deal with a human. Honestly it takes a lot longer to use the iPad than it does to talk to a person.

Karen J.

Yelp
Forgot my dressing and no bread I mean how hard is it to do two things yourself when the salads are litterly being made by robots. Terrible service I placed the order online and didn't notice til I got home and wasted $20.

Sharon R.

Yelp
Very disappointing. Ordered an avocado salad and upon ordering I was told they were out of 2 ingredients. Probably 1 oz of dried out chicken in the salad. The rest of the ingredients were sparse. Definitely not worth the money. I will not be back.

Anica M.

Yelp
Unfortunately I'm leaving this review due to what I believe this location to not have proper food handling. My bowl made me extremely ill when it was the green goddess bowl (no meat). Very concerned on this location's practices and will not be returning. Warning others as I see now they have been flagged for 2 health violations. I hope one day they can fix this as other location on the east coast never gave me this reaction

Sharon K.

Yelp
I was so excited to try Sweetgreen. Unfortunately the quality of the food did not come close to meeting my expectations. I ordered the Salmon bowl. The salmon was dried out and definitely not fresh. The rest of the bowl really had no flavor. I will not be back unless the quality dramatically improves.

Preston C.

Yelp
If I could rate this place -5 stars I would, This place is the Definition of Disgusting I almost Threw up after I had my first biteThe workers were rude the place was dirty and I will never go back to this horrible place ever again.

Patrick C.

Yelp
Disorganized mess, place was filthy and people prepping food had no idea what they were doing.
