sweetgreen - Healthy Salads, Bowls and Plates

I’m typically a big fan of sweet green, but was disappointed by my experience here. I ordered for pickup, and I feel that if you are paying close to $20 per entree, it should be a decent amount of food. As evidenced by the picture, they are certainly not giving you your money’s worth, and the bowls look nothing like the pictures on the website. I do feel like an old man saying this, but I hope places like this start charging an honest price for the amount of food they are serving. Will I still go to sweet green in a pinch when I need a healthy meal? Sure. Will I pick sweet green in the future for any other occasion - probably not.

I enjoyed the salad. The flavor was solid but the bowl was 90% arugula and 10% mozzarella tomato quinoa and chicken, so the $17 I paid for it felt like a rip-off. Other than that it was fresh and tasted great

I totally enjoyed the salad! Fresh, delicious and healthy, I would highly recommend this place!! Spicy cashew sauce with Ranch combo was too good.

I came in today to try out sweet greens because the people at Cava across the street were rude. Well the lady behind the counter today at this Sweet Greens was directly rude. I asked for rice in my bowl and they put brown rice. I asked if it can be changed to white rice and apologized and stated that it was my first time here. The other woman and gentleman behind the counter were very accommodating. The woman who originally served me’s response was “I asked, he didn’t say anything”. She did not ask first off, and even if she did that’s abhorrent customer service. I kindly said no worries and left. Cava it is.

Got their fish taco bowls. The food tasted good but that bowl is 90% just arugula and the green salad. The salmon pieces are really small. For $18, it's not a good deal.

Great mix and match salad options and seamless app ordering. But parking is a major challenge here especially on weekends so that makes it hard to just stop in for a quick bite.

Got the Harvest Bowl. It was rly tasty!! Not sure how often I’d pay $14++ for a nutritious salad but overall review: - ⭐️3.5 out of 5 stars + tasty and well mixed + good flavor options + the portion was pretty decent!

I don’t remember how many times I’ve ordered Shroomami! It’s a very delicious and healthy bowl for me. It’s loaded with veggies, good carbs from wild rice and sweet potatoes(add-on), healthy fats from almonds, avocado, and olive oil, and protein from mushrooms. I often add steak or miso salmon for extra protein. Tbh I order it on uber every week as a treat for myself!

Sweet green is definitely a costly lunch spot BUT definitely worth it! The salad was delicious - would've liked a little more goat cheese but it was delicious! It's a tad bit spicy so if you're looking for more spice (like me) maybe they have additional sauces? ‍ this salad comes with a slice of bread. It really isn't needed - it's optional. They have these new fries. Those were the only negative. They just weren't worth it. Definitely give this place a shot as a healthy and tasty (minus the fries) alternative.

Stopped in for a quick lunch while I was at a conference in the area. I ordered the hot honey chicken bowl & added broccoli. Service was quick and food was decent however at a steep price point. Was about $17 with a water bottle.

Food: The Shroomami Bowl was DELICIOUS! Even though it was kind of cold the time I got home, I still devoured it (the ingredients were SO fresh). Only thing is... they missed my bread in the order (lol) and was a bit sad because their bread IS delicious lol. The Crispy Rice Bowl which I ordered at the restaurant directly (I had a reward thru the app, which is always nice hehe), was a bit disappointing though. The salad wasn't packaged well, and it was a bit flavorless in my opinion. Service: I ordered thru the app so it was ready by the time I got there. The food is really fast. Ambiance: The store is really nice, I was so happy when they opened a SG by Assembly, because it's in such a nice & fun area! I can't wait to come back for a sit down meal, and try more delicious meals.

As someone who works at Assembly Row, the convenience and quality of the salads and bowls at Sweetgreen make it a clear lunch-time favorite spot. I usually order through the app and pick up my order to minimize the wait time. I'm often surprised by how quickly my order is prepared. Today it took 7 mins. from the moment I checked out in the app to the moment my salad was ready for pick-up. Essentially, this is the time it takes to walk from my desk to the restaurant to pick it up. I'm a huge fan of customizing my salads/bowls and this location rarely misses any detail. Today I ordered the BBQ Chicken salad but I customized it to replace kale with rice and tomatoes with sweet potatoes. I also swapped the ranch for miso sauce. Everything was exactly what I wanted. The ingredients are fresh and delicious. While I have my favorites, there's never really been a salad/bowl I don't like. I rarely eat at the restaurant but it looks nice and clean. I'm also a fan of the rewards program if you order through the app. Occasionally, you'll get discounts or free items. The program is not as comprehensive as Flour's but it's good regardless. In my opinion, it's a bit expensive for a salad but I think it's worth it.

Wilda is an amazing employee at this location. The meals from this location are always made with care. I go almost every day and my experience is constantly pleasant

I placed an online order for pickup to bring back to my hotel, I customized the kale Caesar salad to add broccoli and chickpeas, no chicken. I added on bread and an extra dressing. When I got back to my hotel room and opened the salad, there was no bread and no extra dressing. The salad is very large and in my opinion extra dressing was needed. It was very dry without it. I also realized they didn't include utensils or even napkins in the bag which put me in a predicament where I had to call down to the front desk.

I've had hard boiled eggs here before that taste fine. These taste like either prepackaged eggs that sit in a preservative solution/chemical or they're starting to go off? They looked fine in the center, but tasted really weird. Too weird to finish. I'm not an egg snob, it just tasted wrong. I don't know how this taste can occur by simply boiling eggs.

I felt the staff rushed making my salad not knowing everything selected was extra money my salad end up being 25 dollars and some change. I was told this at the register cashier Still till this day I am not sure how ordering works.

Delicious (obviously, sweet green is always good) Had a amazing salad with wild rice, chicken, goat cheese, and so many veggies. Tried the hot sweet potatoes and they are just WONDERFUL. Also got the focaccia bread, it's thicker than I would like focaccia, more just like regular bread with rosemary. But that doesn't mean it's bad. Overall just so, so good!!

I've always loved sweetgreen and was so happy to see this location open down the street!! I had the summer special which was Peach and Goat Cheese! It had Peaches, goat cheese, cucumbers, basil, mint, toasted almonds, spring mix, shredded kale, and balsamic vinaigrette. The mint was an amazing touch. The salads are definitely pricey for the size but its super convenient always tasty!

When I think of a salad - I think expensive greens. Something I can probably make at home. Italian dressing. Caesar dressing. Ranch dressing. But this my friends is NOT the case. For me, I've been an avid Sweet green consumer for YEARS now when there weren't many in the Boston area - but as years went on it got the recognition it deserves. Affordable, reliable, and fresh!! With some many special flavors coming out each season it gives everyone the perfect chance to try something new! In my beginning stages of being a Sweet Greener, I would always do the make my own salad at about $7-8 a bowl the taste of your bowl is all dependent on how well you can mix your ingredients with your dressing of choice. But over the years I've learned that why stress and think over such a difficult task when there's a preset menu developed to cater to your taste buds. For me I've been a big fan of the guacamole greens and literally get it once sometimes even twice a week at work because it's so dang good. GUACAMOLE GREENS: Roasted chicken, avocado, tomatoes, red onions, shredded cabbage, tortilla chips, spring mix, chopped romaine, lime squeeze, lime cilantro jalapeño vinaigrette. Something about the guacamole greens salad, it just hits every time. It's like a healthy street taco? Between the fresh squeeze of lime to the tortilla chips and to top it all off with the lime cilantro jalapeño vinaigrett ... chefs kiss. BUT recently a new flavor peaked my interest ... the one time I turned my back on my regular and opted out for the new season's chicken chimichurri. CHICKEN CHIMICHURRI: Blackened chicken, hot roasted sweet potatoes, fresh lemony asparagus, shredded cabbage, red onion, cilantro, za'atar breadcrumbs, baby spinach, warm wild rice, chimichurri vinaigrette. In my opinion both the guacamole greens and the chicken chimichurri are excellent picks that are super flavorful and keep you full for a majority of your day. To me the chicken chimichurri is a "heavier" salad in the sense that the ingredients compared to guacamole green aren't as "bright" of flavors whereas the chicken chimicurri is definitely more of a savory salad. Perhaps it's the blackened chicken compared to the regular roasted chicken of the guacamole greens. Or perhaps the more hearty options like sweet potatos and asparagus. Overall both are excellect picks!! All depending on your mood. Both will leave you FULL. Guacamole greens for a refreshing - pick me up sort of vibe compared to the chicken chimichurri where you're going for something hearty and can't believe this flavor is coming from a salad. Pro-Tips: Always get heavy on the dressing which is 3 turns around the bowl as to me more dressing allows for more of the ingredients to be coated. ALWAYS get a side of complimentary bread! For the guacamole greens ALWAYS ask for an extra squeeze of lime and extra tortilla chips!! For the chicken chimichurri ALWAYS ask for more za'atar breadcrumbs as this literally makes the dish!!

This is my favorite sweetgreen location! It's likely because it's pretty much brand new to the Assembly area but still, I've had great experiences here thus far. My complaint about sweetgreen generally has been that they can be stingy on the greens/lettuce base of the salad and I usually have to ask them to add more (it's lettuce! I don't want a half full bowl). This location has always been reasonable about the size of the salads they give. The staff has always been helpful when I've gone as well. The location has always been clean when I've been there as well. I know that some people are big on complain about parking in the area. But Assembly is an outdoor outlet mall with many parking garages around so I'm not sure why people are complaining. You're in a mall! Overall, as far as chain fast casual restaurants go, I love sweetgreen and will def be back.

I can't believe I've only just tried sweetgreen! I love it! I devoured my Shroomami (with no beets and cucumbers) so fast. The miso sesame ginger dressing is heavenly, not too oily, not too overpowering, and not too salty. The sunflowers add some crunch and textures that make it so much better. I really liked the combo of the basil, kale, and wild rice, and I loved how the roasted tofu and portabello mushrooms were prepared. Can't wait to come back!

I literally think their Crispy Rice Bowl is sent from above because i hear the angels sing with every bite i take. if youre looking for an adventurous salad bowl that explodes with flavor, get this! If youre feeling extra daring, add a light hot sauce with it and that'll set it apart! I crave this bowl on the daily, i think i literally eat it like 5x a week. Their sauces are insane, i cant hype it enough!

I have to say this may be the best sweetgreen I've been to. My crispy rice bowl was perfect yesterday, fresh and delicious, and the employees are nice and attentive.

Got food poisoning! And the worst part is that I called them to let them know and she said that most likely I got it somewhere else. No comment on the customer service

Went here for a quick meal earlier this month after seeing the King Tut exhibit in Boston and got a custom bowl. It was pretty good and I would go here again.

It's a nice restaurant. It's easy to order and you get to see them make the food. The vegetables are fresh and they put a lot in the bowl.

Warm vegetables looked terrible, mushed up and not fresh. For the price they charge it's very sub par. Not worth $

Nobody makes it harder to order online than sweetgreen. Requires creating an account, going to email, memorizing codes, logs me out, removes what was in my cart, making selections is confusing. Just take my money in exchange for food it could all be so simple

Sometimes the line is insane but they typically work pretty fast. Food is always fresh. Staff is friendly. The location is just okay, parking is near impossible but it's typical of shops at Assembly. One star deducted because I was charged for an extra side of dressing which hasn't happened at any of the other locations.
