Sweetgreen as a whole, 5 stars. This location? Sometimes it's 5 stars but more often than not it's 2 stars, if that. I don't like to leave bad reviews, especially one star, but the final straw for writing this poor review is the bowl I am currently eating. I look forward to sweetgreen for their seasonal menu items, specifically the Brussels for fall. They have been fabulous at other locations, with great texture and a light flaky crisp. The ones I'm staring at in my bowl are not only off color, they are soggy, limp, and look days old. They are warm, wet, salty and soggy. I paid extra to get 2x serving and now I'm eating around them. This was a $17 salad with no meat, and now I can't eat part of it. I also love their hard boiled eggs, they are usually warm and cooked perfectly but this one is ice cold. The sweet potatoes are very cold too, I know the "warm" sweet potatoes are an up charge but that doesn't mean the normal ones we pay for need to be freezing. They can never seem to get temperature or texture right lately at this location. If I hadn't been to other locations I would never come back to this restaurant again
I posted this review, and kept eating around the bowl and found that most of the lettuce had also wilted or become so rancid that it turned into purple goo, like when lettuce is really old. I took a few pieces out for the photo but the rest was just as bad, even the good pieces had bits of lettuce goo attached to it. At this point I'm just going to throw the almost $20 bowl away and get something else for dinner
