I am dissatisfied with part of my order. While the Pistachio Maamoul Mad and the Date Maamoul were delicious and enjoyed by my guests, the Balouria was unacceptable. It was dry, hard, and tasted very old, which led my guests to find it unpleasant and not eat it. I feel it is unfair to pay £20.95 for 650g of a product that ended up being thrown away. I hope the shop can provide an explanation for this issue!

Amazing service staff, super friendly and helpful. The store is very clean and has a wide variety of delicious pastries, baklava, kunafah and sweets. Will definitely be visiting again very soon! Thank you 😊

I have just returned from the awful horrible anf dirty looking new shop they moved to with total disappointment. I have been to Ryan and bought so much for 23 pound except the Baklava because whats left were the small pieces. I decided to go to sweet land to see what they have to offer and i did chose a kilo of baklava that I ended up not buying. If one buys an assortment of different kinds, then they Hike the price up (lol). One kilo was a twenty pound. Outrageous compared to what I bought from Ryan. The fella behind tell me that their stuff is premium lol compared to Ryan. Not true!!!!! He gave me a piece ti tru and it was dry, old and not fresh. I wanted baklava because I had company over and honestly wanted the big pieces to serve . Not desperate but I should have bought the small ones from Ryan since they are the premium quality. But here we are and that’s that!!! Never again. They moved from their old location and now the quality and quantity is awful. If you offer me products For free from sweetland , I would turn it down and Bin it. GO TO RYAN PEOPLE. !!!!!

The best place to buy baclava. Owner moved three time since I been eating baclava from here..today I went there again. Gentleman Simpson served me best baclava and others sweet..best serving. This the best place.

Hello Unfortunately, yesterday I went to Sweetland and bought sweets from them, such as Al-Harisa, Al-Ghariba, Al-Maamoul, Al-Ajwa and Al-Maamoul with pistachio. Unfortunately, normal Harissa / namorah without nuts, 15 pounds per kilo is dry and not soft The graybah kilo is £15, it has nothing to do with the graybah , it's a biscuit Al-Maamoul in Al-Halabi pistachio, the kilo is £19, unfortunately, I found that they mix pistachios with walnuts As for the applied in Ajwa, the kilo is £15, dry and commercial Unfortunately, the prices are expensive and the quality is poor An experience that will never be repeated In the same place there was a shop called wow sweet The quality was much better and the prices are cheaper I advise not to buy from here

Hands down the best Baklava in the UK and beyond! We have had Baklava in many countries but nothing matches this premium quality. The service was exquisite and they also offered us some nibbles; on the house!

I wonder how a patisserie can sell baklava containing preservatives, rapseed and palm oil and glucose syrup. I mean, I could find this low quality at the supermarket for much cheaper. I was hoping to spend more and get fresh bakery items, disappointed.

I would have probably left a great review, however Sweetland London do not ship just across the English channel to Jersey but probably ship to many other countries. Why ? Your killing me here, I've been looking for quality Baklava for years and i found Sweetland London, I go drolling through the whole process of selecting what types of delicious Treats i'm going to order and get to the payment section at the end and they don't ship to Jersey, Channel Islands..?? It's just across the channel?? Pity because i would have been an excellent frequent customer and so would my family and friends but now I've got a serious itch to scratch and can't do anything about it. Please consider opening your shipping options to Jersey, Channel islands. I would beg..🙏🏼🫴🏼 What a crying shame. 🤤 Kind regards G Jones

I ordered Turkish Delight and Baklava on 14/06/2024 on next day delivery and when they didn't arrive I emailed to ask when I could expect them. They replied on 21/06/2024 saying they were having unforeseen production facility issues so I asked for a refund but they have not replied. The website has now been updated to say they are currently unable to process online orders and when I rang the number on the website it has been disconnected. I previously received a gift of Turkish Delight from Sweetland and they were great, but I would recommend avoiding ordering from this company at the moment as it seems likely they have shut down and I have lost the money for my order.

This place is the business! Been coming here for years (they moved recently) after I was introduced by a local. Consistently fresh, my family can't get enough of them, so we keep it as a monthly treat. Highly recommended. Reasonable pricing too which hasn't gone up that much over the years.

Ordered Sunday night 20th December received Tuesday morning 22nd. Thought £8.50 shipping was extortionate but they were sent next day so it was worth it. Although I bought 4 boxes to make the shipping cost worth it so other delivery options would be useful as there are much cheaper alternatives for the size of the boxes. I'd say they were well packaged, each box (ordered 3 x 1kg namoura and 1kg baklava and each box was wrapped in cling film. They were packed in a re-used box which I have no problem with as I am a keen re-user it was taped in such a way it was difficult to open, conversely, the page with my address was not and could have come off. Added to that, my home telephone number was on the package so it could set me up for a burglary - that's the only thing I'm really upset about. I'm happy with the namoura, haven't tried the baklava yet but I'm sure it will be fine and if I buy again, I'll remove my home number for safety.

On a trip from wales , Visiting a supplier near this business, popped in for a coffee , which was Lebanese coffee, It was amazing quality ,the welcome was so friendly , Decided to take some delicacies home with me , small meat pastries , which were delicious , .....only wish I could mention the staff members name , as he was helpful , attentive and welcoming,, but unfortunatly did not note it ,,visited 29th June 2014 approx 1.00pm savoury counter , , this is going to a regular drop in point in the future ,,,

They make the best birthday cakes! Sooo delicious and with fresh fruits. The price is very good. You will not find better quality for their price in whole london. The guests were amazed, the birthday cake looked like wedding cake :)
