Bronze Cafe closed The Market Fremont East | Eater Vegas

"I noted that downtown’s Smooth Eats at the John E. Carson Building, just around the corner from The Market, will be selling Bronze Cafe’s “sammiches, salads, and sweets” on Dec. 3." - Bradley Martin

I go here once or twice a month for their Blue Plate Special. They are always so friendly, quick on getting your food to you, just over all great places to go on your lunch hour when downtown.

Good comfort food. Decent flavor for a decent price. Counter serve, but they are quick. They’ll have your blue plate special ready by the time you fill your drink. Bathroom is through the washroom and down the stairs in the basement. Interesting experience. Doesn’t detract from the value. It adds to the character.

Do you work downtown? Are you downtown for Jury Duty!? Do you like home cooking? This is your spot. Delicious and fairly priced. This isn’t a fancy spot with waiters. So go somewhere else if that is what you want. Everything is good here and it is a great spot to get a blue plate special! Enjoy!

If you're in downtown OKC on a Thursday, S&E's roast beef special is a good try. I've had most of their other menu too and it's pretty good. Don't forget the strawberry cake!

Its absolutely wonderful! Incredible food and wonderful service!!! When I work downtown I ate here almost every day! Atmosphere and very friendly and relaxed. Roast Beef Thursdays are th4 best. Vegetable Beef Soup was excellent!

Good place to eat. Family oriented environment. Not much for Gluten-free.

Want a change from the usual and a home cooked daily special, check out Sweet & Eats. You will not go away hungry or disappointed; roast beef 👍🏻

My 3 star rating is because I've had good and not so good food. Previously, I ordered the frito chili pie, which was so yummy. Today I ordered the blue plate special $13, which was chicken fried steak dinner. Yes, it looks so delicious but there is no flavor. It's like they only use salt and pepper to season. The steak was blah, no flavor, tasted kinda greasy. The mashed potatoes were instant and tasted like too much water was used and had a strange consistency. The best tasting thing on my plate was the corn, which had pepper in it. Don't take my word for it, go try it and make your own opinion.
