Hadn’t been to Sweetwater in years, so it was great to see another Great American restaurant still around. The food was amazing, compliments to the chef whoever made my salmon I asked for medium rare it came as such & was fabulous would highly recommend. We also got the oyster salad special they had and we tried the crabcake special that they had, all very savory and good. Shout out to our server Phil, who took care of us the entire time and of course gotta give out a shout out to the Augy rolls that we love the most. Great visit back to a DMV staple.

Google
We had the drunken ribeye medium well which came with a salad and potato as sides. Everything was amazing, including the bread which came with a white sauce not sure of the name but I loved it. For desert we had a chocolate waffle which was a great combo with the ice cream it came with. I wish we had one of these in NY Also our server Lia was amazing 👏 10/10 recommend

The interior layout was similar to the Sterling branch. We ordered calamari as an appetizer. And we ordered drunken ribeye, crab cakes, filet mignon, two hamburgers, and red wine as mains. It was the first time in a long time that I had a delicious steak. The food was overall delicious, and the waitress's kindness made our dinner enjoyable.

30MAY2025 Me and my mates first time here and what a wonderful choice. I had the rockfish on polenta special. The rockfish was prepared to perfection as it was resting on the most buttery, delicious polenta I’ve ever had. Service was an awesome tag team of outstanding staff. This place was jumping and humming during the late ⏰ lunch hour. The parking lot was full. As soon as me and my mate walked in we were greeted and seated immediately.🧡 We sat down and menus appeared instantaneously(staff was prompt)we ordered our drinks(not a long wait on that)ordered our food and seems as a blink of our eyes, our foods was being served. My pics will speak to you. There are 3 locations of Sweetwater Tavern, check them out.

Google
We recently visited another location of this restaurant and had a wonderful experience, so we were eager to try the Centreville location for lunch. Overall, it did not disappoint! We began with the bread basket, which is now priced at $1. Our server recommended the Smoked Salmon with bread chips, which were quite enjoyable. The Calamari was also good, while the Crab Corn Chowder impressed us with its creamy texture, balanced saltiness from the crab, and sweet notes from the corn, making it a delightful starter before our main courses. The Mahi Mahi filet was expertly prepared and paired nicely with a Mediterranean Orzo salad, and the Filet Mignon was cooked to a perfect medium well. We were so satisfied that we plan to save room for dessert during our next visit. Our server was friendly, and we appreciated the unique Southwestern theme visible throughout, which enhanced our overall dining experience.

Google
This restaurant was a delightful surprise after traveling across the country and in need of some real food. We ordered the ribs and fries and Cole slaw and it did not disappoint. The decor, general atmosphere, kids menu, gluten free menu, service … all was thoughtfully crafted and executed. We had a great experience and hope to travel through and come back or recommend to others!

I’ve been in hospitality for over 20 years. It’s a hard industry and a lot of people aren’t built for it. I’ve always been a GAR fan and I want to acknowledge the staff, give credit where it’s due. Johnny is a bartender and he’s awesome. Remembers you, always giving you his best service, I would hire him in a heartbeat. Come check out the GAR craft beers and definitely recommend the spinach dip!!

Yelp
We were a group of seniors who visited your restaurant today. There were 18 of us. The young lady who served us was fabulous. She took great care of us. I know it couldn't be easy handling that many people at one time. She had a beautiful smile and was so kind. The food was excellent as always. The experience was great. Thank you for a wonderful lunch.

Yelp
Food is great. good kids menu. service is great ( depending on the day) and very nice waiters. The ambiance is very cool! big place also look at the lights. Salmon rocks!

Yelp
I love the GAR (Great American Restaurants) group--they consistently deliver some of the best dining experiences in the DMV area. This was my second time dining at Sweetwater Tavern, and once again, it did not disappoint. Because I've fully embraced the perks of adulthood, I started my meal with dessert--my all-time favorite, the white chocolate bread pudding. It's rich, comforting, and absolutely worth every bite. For my entrée, I tried the Louisiana Pasta for the first time, and it instantly became my second favorite dish from the GAR group--right after the Crazy Lasagna at Ozzie's. The flavors were bold, the portion was hearty, and it hit all the right notes. Their lemonade is also worth mentioning--refreshing, delicious, and perfectly consistent with what I've enjoyed at their other restaurants. Customer service was stellar, which is no surprise. I've never had a bad experience at any GAR restaurant, and this visit to Sweetwater Tavern just added another reason to keep coming back.

Yelp
This is my first time visiting this location and it did not disappoint. I had a burger and fries, the burger was absolutely the best I've had in a long time. The wait staff was amazing and the restaurant was very clean. Thank You!

Yelp
We continue to patronize this restaurant because we've never had a bad experience. They get it right EVERY TIME. We made reservations for 5:30 on a Saturday night before a show. I suggest if you go on a weekend that you do the same because it gets super busy. We were seated right on time and our server, Prince, greeted us immediately. My wife had the chicken fingers, I had the firecracker shrimp, and we shared a salad. We also had a couple of Old Fashioneds. Everything was perfect. I also want to give a huge shout out to Prince. He was friendly, efficient and there whenever we needed him. Thank you so much for a great dinner, Prince! The ladies room was clean too. Can't wait to go back!

Yelp
I've been going to this Sweetwater for over 20 years. I've only had one "bad" meal (found a hair), but their reaction/service was incredible, so I still give them five stars. They used to never take reservations - and now they do, so I'm a super happy camper. It gets packed on the weekends because it's a great place for it all: family, dates, for the gals, for the boys, drinks, anything! This location has a fun cowboy vibe to it and it's always clean. There's ample parking and I love that there's a back exit if you're at the back bar. I think their Ozzie's rolls have changed since COVID but, sadly, most things have... :( I still order them though and a menu item that people seem to miss out on (which is my go-to) is the "wood grilled chicken breast" - people don't realize it's a pasta; it's delicious. All, and I mean ALL, of their menu items are good (even every single salad -- their buttermilk ranch is my favorite) and they're so great about accommodations with your food, like removing mushrooms or subbing sides. This is one of those safe, consistent, go-to places that never disappoints.

Yelp
Yelp Reviewers, you've done it again !! I located this place on Yelp in advance. I knew I'd be in the area, and I needed to pick somewhere yum. Easy to locate, free onsite parking lot parking, welcome hostess station upon entrance. This place has an onsite distillery. It's a win win for beer drinkers They feature all of their beers on the menu. The hostesses were amazingly kind. Hubby and I were taken to our seat. This place is a Winter Wonderland. Beautiful Christmas tree, lights, and gorge poinsettias EVERYWHERE. They were huge and gorge. We were sat in a comfy spacious booth. We were immediately greeted by Alexis. She was great! Super quick, and efficient. Collectively, we ordered the following. Firecracker Shrimp - Highly recommended. Nice sized shrimp, flavorful. Roasted Half Young Chicken - Amazingly seasoned. Cooked perfectly. Tender. Jambalaya Pasta - Great sauced entrée. Robust flavor, great flavor, tender protein. An absolute treat. This may sound a little different for a review BUT, the bathrooms are so clean and comfy. The heat was at the perfect temperature and made me forget it was 30° outdoors!! Hubby and I thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of this visit. I highly recommend and we'll definitely be back!! Oh, I highly recommend you make reservations. They use Resy reservation system. You can access from their website for convenience. bon appétit !!

Yelp
Came here for lunch. Decided on the pulled pork sandwich. The portion of meat was generous. It was covered in a sweet and tangy BBQ sauce. The fries are thin a crispy. A tasty lunch indeed.

Yelp
Nice Family Sit-Down Vibes and Great Service * Price: The menu's got a good range--appetizers start at $10, and the bigger dishes like steaks and seafood go up to $45. My calamari was $16, the smoked salmon was $29, and the mango martini was $9.75. * Food: I really liked everything I tried! The calamari was tender and not dry, the mango martini wasn't too strong (watch out lol), and the smoked salmon came with mashed potatoes and broccolini. Portions were huge, and everything tasted amazing. * Cleanliness/Setting: There's a ton of seating, mostly booths, and the place was super clean. * Service: The staff was great! We got seated right away with our reservation, and everyone was super friendly and on top of things. They checked in on us regularly and knew the menu really well.

Yelp
Their steak was amazing. Service was alright, the ambiance was okay, typical American restaurant but their apps and steak are very yummy. Service 3/5 Their salmon is too salty for my liking.

Yelp
We had a great experience at Sweetwater tavern in Centreville. It was our first time going here for dinner and there was a little bit of a wait. We enjoyed their craft brews and thought they were reasonably priced. Although there is a full list of beers on the menu, they have only about 10 in rotation at a given time. The menu had a selection of salads, handhelds, and entrees to choose from. The menu pricing tends to jump significantly from the salads and handhelds to the entrees. My husband categorized our experience as "an upscale Texas Roadhouse". Since the menu was a bit pricey, we would come here for a special occasion only.

Yelp
Sweetwater Tavern is hands down one of my favorite restaurants. The service is exceptional--there's always someone ready to assist before you even realize you need something. The food is consistently flavorful and comes out quickly, and the open-concept kitchen adds a fun, dynamic touch to the dining experience. The Ozzie rolls with honey butter are a must-try--perfectly sweet and savory. No meal is complete without their indulgent bread pudding, served with cream sauce and ice cream. My absolute favorite dish is the salmon which comes out so tender and juicy and perfectly flavored every single time I've ordered it. With reasonable prices and strong, tasty cocktails, Sweetwater is my go-to spot for a reliable, delicious meal. I'll be back again and again!

Yelp
My father and I got lunch at Sweetwater Tavern. I got the Monterey Salad with Spiced Pecans. Service was great as always and my dad loved it.

Yelp
I generally get the drunken ribeye, even during snowpocalypse. We stopped in 'cuz nothing else was open. Many items were just not available because the delivery trucks couldn't get in, but they had drunken ribeyes. Amazing! The waiter said that someone always comes in the day before to get the steaks marinating for the next day. I call that dedicated. My 2nd fave is the chicken tenders. They have this tempura batter that makes them really tasty. Bring your own wings sauce, though. Sweetwater doesn't have Frank's. (They might have some Crystal in the back. YMMV.) The chophouse salad also makes a nice lunch, especially with some salmon on top or those tenders. I really like the willingness to adjust and modify.

Yelp
Back again. I had the chicken fingers. So crunchy and tasty. The fries are shoestring and TO DIE FOR! Any of the GARs have it. Good martini! And Barking Frog is back. Got 2 growlers. Filet was amazing. Dessert! Bread pudding with a wonderful cup of Joe. Peter at the bar was on time and on it big time. We met Sylvia tonite! Love meeting new 'tenders!! Love this place!

Yelp
Meets the standards and expectations of all the Great American restaurants in the area. This general crowd-pleaser works well for dinner plans in a pinch because there's so much seating. The food comes out quickly and the service here is always friendly. I don't think I've ever eaten anything bad here. It's American food that will always hit the spot, I would recommend the jambalaya pasta (normally I go home with leftovers) as it's flavorful and packed with different proteins and veggies.
google avatar

Lennore R.

Yelp
Service is attentive and friendly. The theme of the decor matches the name of the restaurant, but I hate that it's carpet flooring lol. The tables and chairs are clean, and that's what really matters when you're getting sat. I found the revered Drunken Ribeye to be lacking. I just didn't like the flavor profile, so it's a personal problem. The time I ordered, I maybe received 5 mushrooms. However, the pasta dishes I tried were all wonderful. The wood grilled chicken breast and the sauteed filet mignon tips pasta dishes would be something I order next time. Ozzie rolls are worth the $1, served hot and delicious. The real food stars here are appetizers! The firecracker shrimp has a great taste where the kitchen has their fry times down to a science. The hot spinach, parmesan, artichoke dip is amazing- the best in the area. The calamari is also an excellent fried choice. The caesar salad is one of my favorites! Great crunch, excellent amount of dressing, and yummy croutons. Family friendly and allows reservations. There's something for someone in your group, so it's a safe choice to dine with anyone.

Yelp
Classy American themed restaurant with plenty of seating and parking, but it still can get very packed at times. There is a bar, but most people choose to dine in. Most seating fits 4-6 people. Outdoor seating is also available. Food is always great - salads, burgers, pasta, steaks, fish. There's only a handful of options on the menu. It can also get fairly pricey depending on what you order. Servers are always nice and quick even during busy hours. Definitely recommend for an occasional outing.

Yelp
First time here as an out of towner. I checked reservations on the plane ahead of time and all times were available. By the time we arrived though there was a 30 minute wait so recommend making reservations in advance. The bar is self seating and first come first serve. If you don't want to wait for a table, you can sit at the bar but self serve (eg place order with bartender). After we got seated, the service went downhill from there. Our server made us feel as if she were just going through the motions. No smile and no eye contact. It was my birthday and the hostess said that dessert was on the house. Our waitress did not mention a birthday dessert. When I asked about it, she asked me to repeat what I was asking and I was embarrassed to repeat what the hostess said. The waitress then said it was only complimentary if our table purchased a dessert. That was disappointing considering the hostesss said dessert was on the house. I left feeling the service was extremely below expectations. The food was good but not worth waiting nor the below mediocre expectations. Highly recommend management address the service.

Carlos S.

Yelp
My family's favorite place to eat. My kids love the smoked salmon and cheeseburger. My wife typically goes with the Sweetwater Roast Chicken Salad. I rotate between the salmon, cheeseburger, jambalaya and others. They are all good and they are very consistent. Don't skip dessert, they have good choices for everyone. I wish the white chocolate cheesecake wasn't only a special. It's our absolute favorite.

Yelp
Visited this spot on a Monday during the lunch hour, was not crowded at all and had a reservation. The hostess were kind and quick. Our lunch started with ordering the $1 bread biscuit, the Ozzie rolls with the sweet butter are chef's kiss, so warm, soft and just tasty. I then tried the Louisiana pasta and my colleague ordered the Grilled Chicken & Havarti Cheese Sandwich and fries. Both were good, the pasta had a nice flavor to it. I liked that it had thinly cut chicken as I am not a huge fan of chicken breast especially the when it's diced in large sizes. I had a good portion left over for the next day. My colleague didn't rave about the sandwich but said it was solid and had the whole other half to take home. The fires are shoestring fries not homemade but they were warm and crunchy. We dug into our food pretty immediately so got some pictures of what we took home. Overall Sweet tavern was a solid place, nice hostess and waitress, clean and airy restaurant with big and spacious booths.

Yelp
Always a wonderful experience at the tavern! Their egg rolls and shoestring fries are to die for. Sit at their wonderful bar with unlimited TVs or sit at the patio bar. Good cocktails and wonderful appetizers. Entrees are limited but the service is great!

Yelp
It had been over 6 years since I visited the Sweetwater Tavern in Centreville. Back then, the food was OK, but nothing amazing. But my wife and I wanted to take her brother out for a nice lunch in the Centreville area, so we decided to go there. We figured that there would be a good selection of food to cover our tastes. Unfortunately, we were wrong. When I first sat down to peruse the menu, I was surprised to see that there were no vegetarian options. Every main dish was meat-based, whether that was chicken, beef, pork, or seafood. No section for vegetarian main dishes, and not a single option anywhere except for salads. Even most of the salads had a "protein" meat item added. Sure, you can exclude the meat from your salad, but it seems like virtually no effort was put into offering food options for non-meat eaters. I asked our waitress about alternatives to the meat entrees, and she had almost nothing to offer. She said they could make a simple pasta dish with broccoli and corn, but it sounded like a very half-baked answer. I was honestly kind of dumbfounded that, in this current time, a restaurant could make so little effort to appeal to vegetarian or vegan people. After looking over the entire menu, I ended getting an order of French fries for lunch. Yes, this was one of the only menu items that doesn't include meat. I attached a picture of my "lunch", which was really a very poor option for a meal. The fries weren't bad, which is a good thing I guess. I did eat some bread with it (and they charge for a few pieces of bread lol), so I guess that counts for something? Bottom line: if you are vegetarian, vegan, or just don't feel like stuffing yourself with meat, don't bother with Sweetwater Tavern. They put zero effort into accommodating non-meat menu items, and clearly just don't care about that part of their potential customer base.

Yelp
Always a consistent, delicious meal at Sweetwater. The service is always top tier and plenty of parking. I recommend getting a reservation beforehand if possible so you don't have to wait. I believe the max number of seats they allow is 6 so just keep in mind that they aren't great for bigger parties. I always start with Ozzie rolls & calamari. They started charging for the rolls but I think it's like $1 so definitely not bad. I love the calamari sauce they have here compared to the other great American restaurants. The drunken ribeye is always delicious and flavorful. They give a large piece that I end up taking home as a second meal. The consistency of this restaurant and almost all GAR makes it easy to want to come back!

Yelp
First time visiting Sweetwater Tavern. I was absolutely amazed at the food and the service. Camilla was my server and when she talked about the menu, she did so with pride. She was excited about what they offered, and it showed. The food was outstanding and service was perfect! 10/10!

Yelp
I've come here a few times now & it's always typically busy. I've only ordered to go here, but wait isn't very long for to go orders. I can always count on Sweetwater for delicious food - it's all American fare. but I have come here to only order their rolls before. I love their bread with that poppyseed butter....ugh it's so good!!!!
google avatar

Yelp
Classic restaurant in the area! The Ozzie rolls are a good reason to go but they have many other things such as a large drafted beer list (if that's your thing).
google avatar

Yelp
We came here for our last meal as a family of three and I was delivering the following day. The food here was excellent and the waitress was so helpful. We got the bread pudding for dessert. My daughter loved it.
google avatar

Yelp
Great restaurant for lunch. Loved my lunch sized portion of ribs. I recommend asking for some more sauce on the side. They were cooked to perfection, juicy and fall off the bone. The jambalaya/ Louisiana pasta is good too with the shrimp, just wished it was more spicy. You cannot go to any of their chain restaurants (Ozzie's and Coastal Flats..etc) without getting the Ozzie rolls and the warm white chocolate bread pudding every single time. They have me hooked. This restaurant is always busy which is a strong indicator the food is consistently good.

Cam ..

Yelp
Huge place with more employees than I've ever seen in a restaurant before (which is a good thing) If you like beer they have a great draft list. Sadly they ran out of the pulled pork sammy so I got the chicken one and it was pretty good. Cool place and a good stop

Yelp
TL;DR: Quality has severely deteriorated; inflated prices I have been going to Sweetwater for as long as I can remember. It used to be a place where the food would always be solid. However, the last 4 times we have been, we have noticed how much the quality and flavor has gone down (service is great though). Our favorite item used to be the Drunken Ribeye, but the quality of the steak, cook, and portion has become disappointing. ~The steak is never cooked correctly (even when sent back to be re-done). ~I'm not sure if they par-cook them, but the inside color gradient looks weird and results in a tough steak. ~Last few times, the fat is not rendered down, resulting in chewy/inedible pieces ~This comes with a side of mushrooms, but we only get ~5 quarter pieces that are cooked down to the size of a pea ~Additionally, the price point for this steak does not match the quality we expect (likewise with all the other dishes) Ozzie rolls/bread are $1 charge, but worth it for how good the ozzie rolls are. Disappointed that our favorite dishes are no longer worth it, but maybe other dishes are better.

Yelp
Went to Sweetwater Tavern Friday night (2/7) with my husband. The food was awesome. He had the crab cakes with fries and I had the filet mignon (6oz). The crab cakes were packet with lump crab and where very moist. The shoestring potatoes were excellent. I had the small filet which was delicious and cooked to temp. The only problem we experiencing was the long wait after having a reservation. We waited 45 minutes after the time of our reservation, not acceptable.
google avatar

Yelp
Buzzy but accessible (i.e. didn't have to wait) casual chain dining spot. Brightly lit, menu sort of as expected with a variety of burgers, sandwiches, salads, and a few entrees (fish, steak, chicken as one would expect). Nothing fancy, but a perfectly reasonable meal for a perfectly reasonable price. Genuinely lovely service. She had a southwestern chicken salad, which was both very big and very tasty if perhaps a bit overdressed. I had a tuna appetizer served with Asian slaw. Both were lovely, if not exceptional -- but value was terrific. Wine list was a little simple by the glass --but again, not expecting a super deep set at this type of restaurant. Available in 6 or 9 ounce pours for those of you whoa re either particularly thirsty or prefer 1.5 glasses, but not necessarily the full two. We were on a college sports trip (as spectators) and this fit the bill just fine.

Connor C.

Yelp
Portion sizes have gone ridiculously down hill. How do you charge $16+ for 3 chicken tenders and fries. Absolutely awful service compared to the heaps of chicken tenders I saw on other customers plates.

J K.

Yelp
My wife and I recently visited Sweetwater Tavern in Centerville for the first time. The restaurant is huge but it has a cool, welcoming vibe. The food was delicious. We had the corn chowder and Caesar salad for starters, the crab cakes for our main, and the bread pudding for dessert. We sat at a high top in the bar area - Kelly was our server. Service was excellent - she was friendly, quick, and super knowledgeable about the menu. We had a great evening and definitely will return soon.

Yelp
Always a tasty visit when enjoying lunch at any of the All American Brand restaurants -- and this includes the Sweetwater Tavern. I ordered some Cajun Style Pasta and a Christmas ale. My wife enjoyed the crispy, sweet Brussel sprouts and a crab cake sandwich. Note: We'd visit more often but the prices for most meals has risen too much for the value received. For example, adding a few shrimp to the pasta shouldn't cost an additional $4.
google avatar

Andrew S.

Yelp
Absolutely the best chicken tenders I've ever had--hands down! Perfectly crispy on the outside, juicy and tender on the inside. The seasoning is spot on, and every bite is packed with flavor. No one else even comes close. If you're a chicken tender fan, this is the gold standard.
google avatar

Darren L.

Yelp
Found a screw in an appetizer. Thankfully my wife didn't bite into it. I called Sweetwater and the manager was indifferent.

Wynn G.

Yelp
We had a quick and yummy lunch. The waitress wasn't very friendly but she did her job. Just makes me wonder why these places aren't making sure that all of their servers are treating their guests really well. For lunch we spent about $90 bucks for three adults and a child. That's a good amount of money no matter where you go eat. Friendlier service would have made this a great lunch.

Yelp
We arrived at 6:10 for our 6:30 reservation and were sat down at 6:15. Service was great and they offered samples of IPAs to help us decide which beer to get. The Tex Mex eggrolls came out quickly and were delicious. Full of flavor and the dipping sauce was nice and creamy. The Ozzie rolls were a miss this time. They were lukewarm and very greasy, however the sweet butter was quite tasty. I think we received an old batch of rolls that have been sitting there for a while. We've been to Sweetwater 3-4 times and previously the rolls have always been a hit. The Caesar salad was dressed perfectly and nice and crispy. It's definitely worth the $1 up charge to accompany the Drunken Ribeye. The Drunken Ribeye is delicious! Cooked perfectly medium rare as requested and loaded with flavor. Nicely sweet and salty from the marinade and charred to perfection. A must try, highly recommend. The Berkshire pork chop was equally delicious. I usually order the ribeye but wanted to try something different and was not disappointed. Nice and juicy with great char on the outside. The broccolini was cooked well and the mashed potatoes and corn were a nice accompaniment. I would also recommend this dish for anyone who likes pork chops. I was tempted to lower the rating to 4/5 since the Ozzie rolls were cold and greasy, however in the past they have always been great. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt and still give them a 5/5. Go and give this place a try and I recommend making reservations as it was quite crowded on a Saturday evening. There was still a large gathering of people waiting to be seated as we were leaving.

Yelp
Taj the server is the reason this restaurant is the best in Centerville. From the moment we sat down, she was attentive, friendly, and made sure we felt welcome. She provided excellent recommendations from the menu and was knowledgeable about every dish. Her warm and engaging personality made the entire dining experience even better. The food was fantastic, but Taj's service truly stood out and made the night memorable. I highly recommend this restaurant and be sure to ask for Taj if you want a top-notch dining experience! Her service is the reason we choose this restaurant over other locations!!

Yelp
I've been going to this restaurant for decades and the quality has never gone down. The fried chicken tenders with fries is SO good as well as their ahi tuna salad. And can't forget the great American restaurant ozzie rolls , and their other breads are also tasty and not stale at all.
google avatar

Ralph B.

Yelp
We love this restaurant, have come for over 25-years, and come several times each year. The food is always excellent, and the service is always exceptional. I particularly enjoy the house-made root beer. Because there's always a wait for seating, I've found it best to come early.

Yelp
I have never, ever had a bad meal here, and i had been living in Centreville for 20 years and go there every month or so on average. If there is ever any issue with your meal or anything else, the staff and management are quick to fix it and make you happy. Their salads are top notch, the appetizers are as well. And if you know the secrets to making them even better, such as asking for another crab fritter to go from 3 to 4 for a couple extra bucks, it can be phenomenal! They always have the best craft beer, their beer, of course. I love the seasonal offerings like their Ghost Town Pumpkin Ale and their Happy Trails Christmas Ale. So good! And the festive rimmed garnishes and what really sets them apart. Oh and don't forget to grab a growler to go. Their Drunken Ribeye is what made me fall in love with ribeyes. It's incredibly tender and delicious. And it's available in most GAR restaurants. I've even learned how to make my own version at home. This is the place that I always bring friends and family when they're in town. It never disappoints!

Yelp
Everything about this place sparkled. Server was kind and fast. The food was fresh and everything was enjoyable. Large open booth style dining with a dimmer (date atmosphere lighting). Country western themed with loads of beers on tap. We split a flight and had them pick them for us. We were not disappointed in anything we had. This was a random pick on our trip and a happy one at that.

Yelp
The Great American Restaurants are my absolutely favorite, exclusive to the DMV area. I have been to numerous of the Great American Restaurants and tend to order some of my usual dishes. During this visit I actually branched out and tried one of their Seared Filet Mignon Beef Tip, it came with penne pasta and a cilantro lime sauce. Absolutely amazing and they did not let me down. The steak was cooked perfectly to my medrare and the pasta was creamy, flavors of cilantro lime complimenting the steak so perfectly.

Yelp
This is always a good choice for dining with friends or special occasions. The stakes are always cooked to our satisfaction and the various micro brews are nice. Service has always been top notch and I appreciate they are always watching to see if they can make the experience better. Oh, kid friendly too.
