S'well

Great for a year and then started leaking. At first I thought it was due to the fact that I hadn't tightened the lid properly but it happened on several occasions in a row. I then did a test wherein I filled the bottle halfway, tightened the cap, and laid the bottle on its side on the kitchen counter. I checked back a bit later and about a tablespoon of water was on the counter.

BUYER BEWARE: These bottles are horrible, the lid breaks/bends/cracks, skin bubbles and peels under normal conditions leaving micro-flakes of what I guess is plastic everywhere you go, cap stinks even if kept clean. This company is totally green-washed, they don't seem to know how to care about the environment if they even do. There's many bottles out there that will work, I recommend one with a fully plastic lid that can't break because we're filling landfills with Swell bottles just so the lid can appear to be made of metal. I don't know if Klean Kanteen is still good but I had their's for years and the only reason they stopped working is because I lost them, they seemed life long and actually socially responsible.

Have been trying to contact for three days, online and by phone. Can't reset password without link in which they're not providing. I think I've missed the sale b/c of this. I already own a water bottle, and I've only used it for water it keeps a certain odor in the metal but I've noticed recently on their site to their credit that they offer tablets to use for cleaning their products.

I recently reached out to this company due to some leaking from a bottle and was told that they couldn’t replace it because it was purchased over 1 year ago. Clearly they can’t stand behind their products. I also had to show a receipt for them to even reply back with a response. There are so many other reusable bottle companies to choose from, stay away from this overpriced product.

This company has some nice looking products on its website but in reality they’re quite poor quality. You won’t know this because they’ve admitted they filter their reviews for ‘quality control’. Try to find a product review below 3 stars on their website. I couldn’t, and I’ve personally submitted two 1 star reviews with photographic evidence!

Best bottles but i gotta say great staff. Steve D’Arbenzio is easily the coolest graphic designer they have.
