Swirl Wine Bar

Swirl Wine Bar is truly one of the best wine bars in the Quad Cities! The owner, a knowledgeable sommelier, has an incredible talent for recommending wines based on just about anything you tell her. The wine selection is excellent, and if they don’t have something, chances are it’ll be ordered soon. The wine tastings are my absolute favorite, they’ve introduced me to wines I wouldn’t have tried otherwise. I also had the chance to experience a chocolate and wine pairing, which was nothing short of amazing. Beyond the wine, the atmosphere is warm and cozy, making it a place I love returning to again and again. Highly recommend!

We had her an event catered in here. The venue supplied the drinks. The service and the drinks were fine. It was a wine bar, so there was plenty of selection. I'm not a wine drinker, so I couldn't tell you whether the selection was good or bad. At first impression, it was a nice place, tall ceilings. Nice looking furniture, spacious patio, comfortable chairs. After being there for an hour, I noticed the acoustics were absolutely terrible as are many places that attempt 15 foot ceilings with exposed HVAC and no attempt to control acoustics. I would imagine that on a crowded night, it would be almost impossible to carry on a conversation. Additionally, some of the furniture was nice quality.But some of it was pretty cheap.They even had one with a broken leg that they put a sign on instead of removing it from the lounge area. The employees were polite but nothing special, dressed in t shirts and jeans.Which seemed a little informal for a wine bar.

We love Swirl! Marlisa and Antonia never fail to make us feel at home. Great event offerings and always changing. Also, they’ve got my favorite espresso martini in the QC!

The perfect space for a bridal shower, baby shower, book club, or girls’ night out! Such a great selection of wine. Marlisa will help you find just what you are looking for, provide suggestions if you’re wanting to try something new! $15 charcuterie box made this experience even better.

It’s great if you are a regular. Otherwise they make you feel out of place. Too bad too because they have a good wine selection and comfy seating.

Attended a wine tasting class Valentine's Day night and Marlisa was a great sommelier hostess! Very knowledgeable. We'll definitely be back.

This wine bar is the perfect addition to the TBK businesses! Marlisa, knows her wine and is such a sweetheart! She makes everyone feel welcome and it's a great spot for a meeting, after work drink or date night. Tons of great wine to choose from and a perfect spot to enjoy a drink and conversation. Definitely a small business I will go back to regularly!
