Swiss Butter

The service is 10/10; the bread they bring out is lovely, fresh and recently baked. Once ordered, the food was on the table in less than 10 minutes. I initially chose the Ribeye, and they offered me an upgrade for an even more tender cut; it was absolutely worth it as the price difference is quite small. The meat was exquisite and the doneness was spot on. ​While the standard option comes smothered in their signature sauce, I opted for the Ribeye with the sauce on the side this time. The combination of flavours was exceptional, and the sauce had a perfectly balanced acidity. The chips were cooked to perfection, super crispy just the way I like them. However, the salad dressing was a bit too acidic for my palate. ​As for the desserts, the Pain Perdu is quite sweet but delicious. However, to my taste, the Molten Chocolate I tried on my first visit is much more balanced overall—it's definitely my favourite. Their ice cream also has a spectacular flavour with perfectly balanced sweetness. ​It was my second visit to this place and I would 100% go back. On both occasions, the wait for a table has been about an hour.

The establishment was exceptionally busy, resulting in a 30-minute outdoor wait in the rain, fortunately under a canopy. Upon entry, we were seated and inquired if it was our initial visit. The menu was quite restricted, communicated verbally and displayed on a wall, with no physical menus provided. The ambiance was bustling, loud, and open-plan, featuring only tables and chairs. We ordered the beef steak with fries; it is important to note that only fries were offered, with no options for steak chips, mashed potatoes, or other accompaniments, beyond a baked potato or bread. My medium-cooked steak was satisfactory, though I have experienced superior quality at a lower price point. The butter sauce presented a more tangy than buttery profile; personally, I would have preferred a gravy or mushroom sauce. The meal included bread, fries, and a side salad. The fries quickly became hard and cold, as did the bread. The salad was dressed with the aforementioned butter sauce, which I did not find enjoyable. The meal was priced at £19.99, with beverages incurring additional charges. The total cost for two individuals amounted to £50. Candidly, I would hesitate to recommend this establishment, as it appears to be somewhat overhyped.

With no doubt the best beef filet I've ever had in London. The meat is tender and melts in your mouth, and the sauce is addictive. Nice atmosphere and super lovely service. Don't forget to get their molten chocolate dessert 😋

This was our second time in London, and we went straight to this restaurant again. We liked almost everything about it, but this time the sauce tasted unusually fishy. The cocktails were nice. Personally, I think the steak is a much better choice than the burger. Overall, the food was good, but not particularly special. I’m not sure if we would return on a future visit, as I asked about the fishy taste but didn’t receive a clear explanation. That said, the waiting experience does add an extra touch to the overall dining experience.

Excellent steak with fries! We waited 30min in the queue outside on a Sunday afternoon. The staff was friendly and the service quick. The steak was tender and flavorful. The chocolate dessert was delicious! Tye ice cream is good to balance the chocolate. Will return, good value for monthly.

Absolutely stunning! We waited and hour and it was definitely worth the hype! Highly recommend, the steak, the chips, the sauce!!!!!! Even the salad was amazing, the dressing was delicious! We also got the molten chocolate cake and that was unbelievable! Personally, I think it’s good value for money 10/10

An affordable steak place in central London. We came here on a Sunday, starting queueing up 11:50am. As soon as it hit 12pm, the door was open. We were seated by the window, the table wasn’t too big, it was just enough for 3 plates. You could view the menu by scanning the QR code on the table. We all ordered ribeye steak. The food came quite quickly. The meat wasn’t very thick, and it wasn’t too much. It tasted good in the sauce. There were quite some sides, salad, white bread and fries. The sauces went really well with the bread and fries.

I have to praise the service from Reema she was amazing and could sing all her praises because she was an amazing server. Now lets go to the food which was amazing too the Australian lamb chops and the ribeye both medium both amazing 👏. I have to say very considerate to people breaking their fast and waiting outside with dates.
