Swoon Kitchenbar Review - Hudson - Hudson Valley - The Infatuation

"Swoon Kitchenbar is a crowd-pleasing restaurant on Hudson’s Warren Street. Pop in for a post-spa day kale salad for lunch, but know it’s equally good for a date night or dinner with your parents. The phrase “farm to table” has been well run into the ground in the Hudson Valley, but Swoon was doing it long before it was cool—20 years to be exact. There are lots of vegetables to snack on, like super crispy and plump fried artichokes, and an excellent burger. Food Rundown photo credit: Anne Cruz Burger You can get this thick-pattied beauty at lunchtime or Thursday evening. The beef comes from a farm 15 miles away, and the fluffy brioche bun does an excellent job soaking up the burger’s meaty juices. Each order also comes with extra crispy cubes of tater tots." - Anne Cruz

The 17 Best Restaurants & Bars In Hudson, New York - Hudson Valley - The Infatuation

"Swoon has been around a lot longer than most of the Hudson restaurants people tend to talk about, but it’s still very good. Snack on wine and cheese at the bar while you and your bestie speculate on which celebrity couple will break up next, or settle down for a reliably satisfying dinner with your parents. Dishes rotate frequently, but you can typically find a solid salad, burger, and pasta option that’ll satisfy everyone. " - Team Infatuation, Chanize Thorpe

Stopped into Swoon while driving thru the Catskills, as I'd heard it's been around awhile. Staff couldn't be nicer, and the service is super quick. The food is very good, but not exceptional: I dug the kale salad and the fried artichokes are tasty, but nothing particularly special. Linguini with clams was advertised as homemade pasta, but tasted more like dried / packaged to me? Clams were very high quality, though, and super well prepared. Ambiance was also nice, but still just lacking something that kept it from being too warm or inviting. Overall, a very nice place, but nothing especially memorable here.

Three of us went on a driving tour of New York/Mass/Ct last fall. We spent the night in Hudson and found this restaurant by walking up Main Street. A great choice. We had a delicious dinner and some wine. Certainly will go back the next time we are in the area.

Google
Enjoyed our dinner at Swoon, a longstanding Hudson NY establishment. Service was friendly and attentive. Crispy artichokes were fantastic and bread plate hit all the right notes. Short ribs were pretty good, had some central american spices with nice bright vegetable garnish. Partner had the risotto which was fine, nothing too special. Desserts were great, highlight was a pumpkin flavored pudding. Proved why it has remained in business for all these years!

Google
We had a fantastic evening here! The food was fantastic and the service was excellent. We actually sat next to this Enrique character who left the nasty review just before mine. I just want to clarify that they were not actually by the bar, just a regular table right beside ours. I am surprised they posted a review associated with their (real?) name, because a normal person might have been embarrassed to throw a (full-grown adult) temper tantrum before stomping out of the restaurant screaming “just wait for the review!” Our server Cara, and the manager Lisa, marvelously played the dual role of restaurant employee/therapist trying to calm down Enrique and his partner. They even honored the request to move them to one, oddly-specific table in the back, but when they came to tell the angry couple that the table was ready for them, that’s when they stormed out! The woman also had music playing from her phone in her pocket, but seemed much too grumpy for me to ask her to turn it off. Anyway, the whole vibe of the restaurant lightened once those two left, and many of the other patrons had a fun time laughing and bonding over just how entitled and awful some folks can be. But anyway, back to the food. Everything was fantastic! They even made me a delicious vegan dipping sauce from scratch to pair with the world’s best artichokes. We will definitely be back! Props again to Lisa and Cara, and hope not to run into Enrique at any other restaurants!

Google
Love this restaurant. It’s the best in Hudson. Service is warm and attentive. The food is outstanding. Try the pepper tasting menu this September (every month celebrates a different vegetable in honor of 20th anniversary). This is true farm to table with the chef honoring freshest local ingredients and incorporating into the menu. No visit to the Hudson Valley is complete without Swoon.

Google
Terrific farm to table restaurant. Loved the fried artichokes, hanger steak, and rack of lamb. Very generous portions. Limited, but decent quality, wines by glass. Lots of quality half bottle options. Local beers. Service friendly and efficient. All in all, a memorable meal without breaking the bank.

Google
One of worst experiences at a restaurant in my life… made an anniversary reservation for 730pm on Resy and came 4 minutes early. After checking in with the hostess, we were offered 2 different table options, after picking one we were told oh wait we are only seating the bar right now. I said “even though we have a reservation?” Hostess replies “yea I don’t really know what’s going on we are busier than expected” Not even sure what to think but sharing the experience. Cannot comment on the food since we weren’t actually able to eat but there are many other great options just doors away! Would not ever look back after being treated this way.

Google
Such an amazing spot. Love stopping by every time I am in the area. Food is always fresh and the portions are great! A little pricey if you have never been there before, but trust me it's worth every penny. Friday they have an oyster happy hour, but I'll buy oysters any day of the week as long as they are in season.

Yelp
Restaurant in Hudson - great location, near shops and plenty of street parking available. Required a reservation; however, we did have a large group of people. Restaurant not busy for a Saturday night. Service was quick; however, our waitress, Diane, was unpleasant. She was condescending and was not accommodating (snarky comments, didn't clear silverware, or dirty plates). Saw ants on the windowsill, but not on the table. Food and drinks were great and YUMMY; unfortunately, was not the vibe. Menu was confusing in regards to what was an appetizer versus entree (condescending comments were made). Would come back if we had better service.

Yelp
Although it's been a couple months since we've dined at Swoon, each time is filled with great memories and that well chosen wine list, exceptional value and geared to the food. I feel comfortable here and the waitstaff is patient and kind. We love it!

Yelp
Pretty surprised this restaurant doesn't have higher reviews because my experience was great. If you're look for a great burger in Hudson, this is where you come. The meat was extremely flavorful and juicy. Also their tater totes were the most unique and delicious ones I have ever had. Highly recommend for lunch.

Yelp
Lose a star for the service. We did a weekend trip to Hudson celebrating a friends birthday. Our server was spaced out and she kept forgetting us, had to flag her to come take our order, bring our drinks and to get our check. Once we finally got our check, we were charged for two cocktails we didn't drink. Another 15 mins added to get a corrected bill. What a mess! The food however was pretty good. We enjoyed the cheese plate, fried artichokes, trout special dish and monkfish paired with a bottle of Sancerre. I'd come back here for a meal any day if their service was better.

Yelp
Great overall experience!! We had just hiked around Olana which was 10 minutes away and we were HUNGRY which does help. I will say service wasn't overbearing by any means but the staff was personable, detailed, efficient, and genuine! We ended up having a 3 course lunch, everything was delicious. One of the best meals ever!!! The flourless chocolate cake was super rich and flavorful, the perfect end to an amazing day. Loved everything about this place, even the fun paintings added to the adorable look of the place!!!

Yelp
The food was fine, and the ambiance pleasant, but, at a restaurant in this price range, I expect reasonably professional service. We had to ask for our water glasses to be refilled each time they were empty, even after our server came to the table when they were empty and left without filling them. I asked two different servers for salt and pepper, and both of them stood chatting about their lives at the bar for five minutes before I asked again and they finally produced the salt. When the server spilled my coffee into the saucer, instead of getting a clean saucer, she put a paper napkin in the saucer, and left it there, soggy and dripping, under my coffee cup. Their manner was generally short and unfriendly. When a service problem is this pervasive, I don't blame the individual servers. They obviously weren't trained properly and the restaurant doesn't prioritize customer care. In a town with many excellent restaurants, I won't choose this one again.

Yelp
Swoon is one of the longest standing restaurants in Hudson and by far my favorite restaurant. It's warm, inviting, the bar is beautiful and the servers are so nice. Unlike other places in the area, there's nothing pretentious about it. Love that they serve miller lite in a can and also have delicious cocktails and wine list. Life is about balance, right? Carpaccio is insanely good. The quality of the meat is *chefs kiss*. I can't go there without getting the chicken liver mousse. I've been here dozens of times and it's consistently amazing. I've never had a bad experience here. The house made pasta is delicious. I really can't say enough about Swoon. Thanks for being a quality neighborhood staple for all these years!

Yelp
We had dinner at Swoon one night on our recent visit in Hudson, but were a bit let down. Here's our experience. Although the staffs were really friendly but I found the service subpar. We had to flag down our server to ask for refill on water 3 times during our meal. Also witnessed another wait staff dropped a plate of new dish on the table next to us. We had high expectation but found our entrees mediocre. We start off with the Cheese Plate, and the Crispy Artichokes was pretty good. The Halibut Cheek was not bad I did enjoy it, but hubby thought the Duck Breast was bland. For dessert we shared the Flourless Chocolate Cake which was meh. We got the bill and there was a double charge on one of the item. When point that out all our server said was "okay" then proceed to correct the check. Wow, really? I really want to love this place, good vibes and inviting atmosphere, sadly our experience on that night wasn't too pleasant.

Yelp
Having tasted other people's food I know that I made a mistake. I tell you this cautionary tale so that you don't order the salmon pate. It is overly fishy and doesn't register on the flavor scale. However the service was great and the ambiance was swoon worthy...see what I did there.

Yelp
FOOD IS SO GOOD and super cute inside! Happy we decided to come here. Great location.

Yelp
I cannot speak highly enough of the service and menu at Swoon Kitchenbar. We had our family rehearsal dinner there before our wedding. The space itself is gorgeous, light-filled and classy. The restaurant generously permitted us to book two tables for a large party, and the entire wait staff was beyond friendly, courteous, and warm to us. Diane, Mark, and Lisa did not stop checking in all night. They kept the wine flowing and were constantly touching base to check and see if anyone in their family needed anything. The food was absolutely delicious. Every single dietary restriction was easily catered to and the portions were generous. The variety on the menu and the freshness of the pasta (and OYSTERS) was exquisite. This was the best case scenario of a dining experience and I will absolutely be back. I am so grateful for their top-tier service; it made our night outstanding.

Yelp
Took a weekend trip up to Hudson and tried to get a reservation at feast and floret with no success. Had to look up other options in the area walkable from our Airbnb and the menu at Swoon caught our eye. We got a table on a Thursday evening easily (there was still quite a crowd) place was very charming. They had an impressive wine list. My date and ordered oysters and a roasted squash salad to start. The salad was so good, something you want to remember to try and make at home. Then for our main we ordered the salmon and the steak. I'm not big on mustard which the salmon was cooked in but it was the perfect complimenting flavor to the dish. The steak was exceptional, tender and marinated to perfection and the mashed potato side was creamy, the perfect mashed texture. We wanted to stay for dessert but had no room whatsoever. Only reason I'm docking a star was the seating was very small/no where to put my purse. I understand it's all aesthetic purposes but I'd usually prefer a more comfortable seating situation. We would definitely come back here the next time we're in town tho, need to try a few more items!

Yelp
service mid. price bad. food bad. i ordered the bi bim bap and i was served the wettest rice i hav ever eaten in my life and the cabbage looked gray btw this is the only restaurant that i hav ever been to that does NOT have ketchup. like wut? u serve french fries but not ketchup??? tldr i highly do NOT recommend

Yelp
Average at best. Food was OK. Menu never changes. Extremely loud. The salad was good.

Yelp
Decided to stop in for dinner a little spontaneously. We're told you really need reservations, so we sat at the bar. An older gentleman was the bartender, nice but not attentive. We kept having to stop him for service and to order. Wasn't super hungry, however, really was drawn to the side Beet salad and wanted to add protein. The bartender said no we cannot do that. (Weird). I ordered it anyway plus the Salmon dinner plate. The beet salad was amazing, exceptional flavor! It did not disappoint. The salmon was pretty good, too. My girlfriend got the oysters for an appetizer and loved them. *Apparently if you go at happy hour (4-6pm) Oysters are $1 each!* She ordered the bok choy plate and enjoyed that as well. We also ordered the childcare cake and it was just 'meh. Really small and a tad dry. Nice atmosphere, but not sure I would hurriedly return.

Sam F.

Yelp
Considering I didn't even stay long enough to order....An incredibly rude hostess and terrible table in an almost empty restaurant that wasn't air conditioned and frankly stank drove me away before looking at a menu.
google avatar

Jeremy D.

Yelp
Swoon used to be reliably excellent, but food and, in particular, service have significantly declined. Staff are inattentive, unprofessional and in one case surly and rude. Disappointing.

Yelp
Love this restaurant! The food is incredible, and the service good enough. Hudson always surprise me with the quality of restaurants they have. We drive 45 minutes from Albany to Hudson just to enjoy the nice restaurant the city has.

Daniel S.

Yelp
Great food, great service. Moxie the bartender gave us a great history of Hudson. Very attentive, yet not a pest. Love the decor of the place, definitely a place we will revisit in our travels
google avatar

Yelp
New Year's Eve dinner for two. Wow. Exceptional duck confit (we both ordered it and glad we did)! Would've appreciated some green salad with it at the $35 price tag but it was worth it. The chicken liver mousse with pickled red onion and crostini was also very tasty. I would recommend the Health Margarita as we ordered two and the table next to us also ordered it. The tie-breaking exciting dish was the Chocolate Bomb (next to the duck)!! I love dessert and this was a joy to eat. My boyfriend got the Tarte Tatin and he loved every bite as well. Service started out rough but at the end it got better.

Yelp
Really solid I'd hit it again if I was in Hudson for a few nights Mackerel was good Good wine selection Great service Nice staff Eat it!
google avatar

Nicole N.

Yelp
I really wanted the food here to be great! First dining experience in Hudson and as it wasn't too far from where we were staying we decided to give it a try. My favorite thing was the wine we ordered. Half bottle of a beautiful Sancerre. Other than that, nothing stood out. We ordered the bread described on the menu to be baked on premise but it was cold and hard. The veggies were a bit over done and maybe because most restaurants are closed out here Mon-Tues they don't put much into the service.. but yea. Wouldn't place this spot the places to go list.
google avatar

D M.

Yelp
unswoonworthy. atmosphere, food and service mediocre at best. the menu seems inventive but the food just doesn't measure up in terms of preparation and taste. pricey for what it is... bland
google avatar

Susan L.

Yelp
Stopped in for brunch. Socially distanced indoor dining felt safe. The burger was well seasoned but probably the winner was the crunchy tots. The egg sandwich was a big hit, salad well dressed. The bacon was devine! The artwork in the restaurant and design of the dining room was gorgeous. Would definitely recommend.

Susan S.

Yelp
Stopped in on this cool late afternoon for a drink and an appetizer. We found such a cozy atmosphere inside. We ordered the bread platter, two Black and Stormy (ginger beer and dark rum with lime), and a Woodford Manhattan. Everything was yummy! The bartender was friendly. It was a perfect stop before heading back our Airbnb in Sleepy Hollow Lake.

Yelp
Great Hamburgers and the homemade Tater Tots are to die for!!! Service and atmosphere were great too! Highly recommend!

Yelp
While the photos of Swoon had me wanting to try it the reviews of Swoon suggested I'd be better off not. Then, when a popular, swanky place nearby had no seating and a shopgirl elsewhere recommended Swoon I threw caution to the wind. It was just a couple of drinks and I'd already tempered my expectations. The cocktails at the bar proved fine, no more-no less. The service level was sufficient if lacking warmth or welcome. When I went to the back to use the restroom I was relieved I'd done my homework. As attractive as the restaurant had appeared in photos, the dining area was one I'd not have enjoyed owing to the fact that there were a lot of children present, with all of the associated mess that entails. The place had looked more upscale until I went towards the back and I was happy to have limited my monetary damages to cocktails. Swoon Kitchenbar wouldn't really be my first choice for cocktails or dinner in Hudson but if forced I'd agree to cocktails at the bar. Anything more and you're missing out on something better in town.

Yelp
The local lettuce and burger here are super!!! We were thrilled with our lunch. The service is a tad slow but the waitresses are super nice.
google avatar

Pat M.

Yelp
Swoon was okay. - beet salad and roasted cauliflower were good but not great - endive salad was NOT good (but the server do take this off the bill) - Pork Chop was excellent - fruit flies were very annoying Overall the cost did not justify the experience in our opinion.

Howard R.

Yelp
Wonderful staff, inventive menu, relatively quiet room. The food is excellent and the prices are fair.

Yelp
Thank you to Kara and the entire staff for a great hospitality this past weekend. We went for our first wedding anniversary and the day before, I stopped in and talked specifically to Kara and she made sure to secure a great table and had champagne waiting when we arrived. She recommended several dishes which we tried and she was spot on. The food and drinks were all great! Bravo to the team and thank you for an amazing night!

Yelp
I enjoyed my meal at Swoon ~ the food was fresh and delicious; the portions were large for the price; the service was friendly and efficient (although it was a very early dinner). But I have two complaints that would discourage me from going back again... First, the wines are only served in half bottles or bottles. This world of half bottles is new to me and I find it to cheapen the whole experience. I drink A LOT of wine but I'm not a wine snob (despite this review). Part of why I drink a lot of wine is because I like to try different kinds of wine. If I like a glass, I'll order a second glass. If I don't, I'll try something else. I don't like being locked into two glasses. As a result, I only had 2 glasses instead of 5 because...well, I was afraid of commitment. Secondly, the fruit flies at the bar are OUT OF CONTROL. The manager needs to insist on a deep clean of all of the bar mats, clean the bar with bleach often, cover garnishes and mixers, seal all of the liquor and discretely install a lot of traps behind the bar. It's disgusting to feel a sticky bar under your plate / glass and to swat fruit flies away constantly while eating.

Lisa P.

Yelp
We celebrated our 10 year anniversary here and the entire staff knocked it out of the ball park! Kat, our server, the best! Oysters & and cocktails to start were amazing. Pasta Carbonera and swordfish for dinner were done to perfection! Our chocolate cake for dessert was on the house which was super nice of the restaurant. Mommy! Very friendly, pretty and great food!

Yelp
I really wanted to like Swoon but the service was just terrible. We had a reservation and the hostess sat us down in the empty dining room right by the kitchen doors and a bathroom. We could hear the toilet flushing. It was my sister's birthday so I wanted a nice experience. When I went to ask the hostess if we could move, I stood at her station for 5 minutes. She was on the phone and wouldn't acknowledge me...many other staff saw me and didn't ask if I needed help with anything. So, I had to take matters into to my own hands and we moved our seat to one of the many other tables available. Finally, a waitress came over and seemed annoyed we moved. After that, things continued to go down hill. My sister and I both ordered a $14 soup but my bowl was half filled. She had double the portion I did. Very odd since we were sitting at the same table and had the same dish. It was the smallest portion of soup I've ever had for the most expensive price. Any time we asked for anything there was no follow through. We had to ask multiple times. We would look over and our server was talking to another waitress about something instead of giving us the menu that we asked 2 times for 10 minutes earlier. Normally, I would be patient especially considering times are hard right now but it just felt as if everything was going wrong and a simple request was too much to ask. Considering the price of the food, it wasn't the hospitality I would have expected. What really pushed me over the edge was the waitress's mask kept falling below her nose. We are sitting here without masks at the indoor table and you're full on exposing us to your germs! You're standing 2 feet from me. Get a tighter mask!!!

Yelp
Despite the questionable recent reviews, the menu was enticing enough that we took a chance and came here for a date night dinner this past Friday evening. And I am so glad we did! We arrived almost an hour early for our reservation just to see if we could get seated early, and the hostess was more than happy to accommodate and we were sat immediately. Each dish was better than the last. Highly recommend the chicken liver mousse and the duck confit leg. Our waitress was knowledgeable and friendly and was happy to answer the multiple questions we had about the wine list. We wanted to take our time and enjoy our meal, and we never felt rushed or like a bother to anyone. Overall a very memorable and delicious experience!

Alexandra F.

Yelp
Food was good for the most part (other than risotto), however, our waitress Heidi was terrible hence the 2 stars only - kept forgetting things we ordered and had to flag her down multiple times, took plates we hadn't finished without asking, then after we paid and tipped, proceeded to try to rush us out and was EXTREMELY rude once we asked nicely if we could finish our wine at the table. We would have been done an hour earlier if not for the terrible service then she rushed us out before we could even finish our drinks. Will not return.

Yelp
Our trip to Hudson Valley on President's weekend was incredible! As my wife and I walked the Main Street area to find something to eat, we came upon Swoon and noticed they didn't have a menu in the window...well played, we had to come in and see what was good. Trust, it was all good!! I wish we would have taken pictures but we just enjoyed our time together eating and drinking. A special thank you must go to our server Dawn! She was the epitome of fantastic service! Make sure to take care of her!

Dana R.

Yelp
Grumpy service from hostess to barkeep. Skip this place, as there are a plethora of delicious restaurants with friendlier service in in Hudson.
google avatar

Jess W.

Yelp
I really enjoyed my dinner at Swoon. The atmosphere was calm and relaxing on a Friday evening. I was visiting Hudson from NYC and the change of pace was exactly what I needed. The staff was extra friendly. I started with a 'slippery slope.' A refreshing and sweet (but not overly so) cocktail. We split the artichoke crisps - which was paired with a yummy sauce. The beet salad was my favorite! My friend and I split the Hamachi entree. The fish was cooked to perfection! Will have to stop by Swoon again on my next visit-- maybe for brunch!
google avatar

David P.

Yelp
Some very good dishes including the smoked salmon pate, risotto is very good, kale salad is worth having. Nice bread sampler is a great choice as well.
google avatar

Helena M.

Yelp
Our Airbnb host recommended this place & we were really excited. The vibe is nice and the menu looks exciting. But from the moment we walked in, the service was poor. We were seated in the front and waited for a server for a while. Everything was very slow - we didn't get water until 10 minutes in & didn't get any refills at all. We had the Crispy Artichokes, Creamy Semolina, and the Blue Fish (based on the Yelp reviews!). The artichokes were delicious and the Semolina was also pretty interesting but the Blue Fish was very underwhelming. It didn't taste seasoned at all and there were 2 bones left in. We also felt uncomfortable with our server. It was just an underwhelming, uncomfortable experience. Wish we had gone to Fish & Game or Helsinki.

António C.

Yelp
I've never written a review for a restaurant I haven't been to but I have never had a place call 15 minutes before my reservation to cancel for running out of food. If that wasn't bad enough, when I complained and asked to help find a new place to eat, the staff member I spoke to on the phone called me "uppity-uppity", recommended that "go home and cook for myself", and ended the call by telling me: "you're lucky if you ever step foot in this restaurant". Avoid this circus!
google avatar

Nico H.

Yelp
Nearly 2 hour wait for mediocre hamburgers. Salads are good and they have a nice wine selection but the poor quality of service really ruined this experience for our table.
google avatar

Dave B.

Yelp
Swoon to me is an unfortunate mix of over-promise and under-deliver. It is a nice space, for sure. The menus (which apparently change daily) have a definite foodie vibe, and are designed so that you'll definitely want both a starter and an entree to make up a meal. Which translates into a pretty pricey night out - and I'm fine with that, as long as the kitchen is turning out terrific stuff. Sad to say, that's the under-deliver. The endive salad was more like, I dunno. An endive cole slaw with some horseradish, as our party collectively concurred. My crispy chickpeas were good, but a pile of deep fried, heavily seasoned chickpeas served with just a slice of lemon got pretty one-note in a hurry. And the big entree disappointment was the octopus I had - perhaps the largest tentacle of cephalopod I've ever seen a plate - but it was just a touch overdone, and didn't have that tenderness you want. And it was paired with sweet potato pieces, which was a texturally weird contrast to the octopus. The wine list, by the way, is predominantly French. And not targeted to "yeah, a glass of wine with dinner would be nice" crowd with it's pricing.

Jessica D.

Yelp
We had a lovely lunch here. Service was more than solicitous and very professional. Oysters were fresh, shoestring fries with spicy remoulade addictive, and the tomato salad with pine nuts and tahini a revelation. While I hate to be critical during these crazy times, the kale salad was inedible - terribly tart (lemon juice?), and with rancid seeds on top. The dining room looked gorgeous - can't wait to try again during better times.

Yelp
Like many others have said, the food is pretty good but the service is really bad. We waited so long before our drink orders were taken and even longer for us to give our food order; we asked for bread to come with oil and oil was left out, one of the members in our group didn't get glass of water, didn't get attentive service at all and felt forgotten about. I hope service improves here. I think they need more vegan options as well.

Angelica M.

Yelp
Swooning over this place! The food is delectable! Julie C has excellent recommendations and was an absolute pleasure! Highly recommend the Hot Mess, Shakshuka, Bacon wrapped dates and fresh bread. Even took some to go...

Yelp
We ordered food through seamless, 2 hours before the driver went to pick up our food. When the driver got there, he was informed the seamless menu and the restaurant menu were different (although if it was it was only marginally) and they couldn't make the food we ordered. At no point did the restaurant contact us and ask if we'd like a substitution, despite having our details leaving it too late too remedy.

Yelp
This was a really lovely restaurant and the menu was fantastic. I had the baked eggs with leeks and goat cheese. It was a really nice change of pace and the charred bread that it came with was incredible and added so much depth to the dish. My husband raves about his breakfast sandwich. Unfortunately the woman at the table next to us was throwing a temper tantrum about the lack of ketchup for her burger, which was really uncomfortable and kind of ruined the mood. Not the restaurants fault though, they were very accommodating I honestly don't know how the servers stayed professional when dealing with that so big props to them.
