Sycamore Brewing

We ordered the Charlotte burger with Brussel sprouts and the chicken sandwich with cheese grits. The food was good. The Brussel sprouts are on the sweeter side. I wouldn't stop in if I had a flight to catch within the hour though. It took a while to get our sandwiches.

I was shocked at how good this food was. No lines, table to myself, terrific service with a smile and all for a great price I’d be happy to pay in a diner anywhere. Doubt I’ll be back at this airport, but if I am I will definitely eat here again.

Great food for an airport. Very happy burger can be made as a lettuce wrap. Burger was flavorful as well. And the salad was fresh. This can be a frequent spot for me. The only bad part is the seating is limited and the kiosk they use for you to order is not efficient and that makes service poor due to it being impersonal. Good food though overall.

It's an airport bar, so the atmosphere is like that of an airport bar, which isn't my favorite place? But I dont hate it. It's busy so it's not a pop in kind of place, but if you have a long layover, this is where it's at. Sycamore has a variety of beers on tap, and unlike other brewing places, they have quite a few non sycamore options in cans or bottles also. They have THE BEST brussel sprouts I have ever had in my life. I'm not a brussel sprouts junkie like my sister, by any means. I weigh 200 lbs. But because of my sister, I've eaten them A LOT and let me tell you... these are perfect. They are perfectly charred and smothered in this honey cinnamon butter that is just..... delightful. Tiny bits of sweet potato blended in the mix to really pull it all together. I'm not a foodie, so I'll use words I know. It was crispy, mushy, salty, sweet, spicy, burnt, and bitter. I enjoyed every single bite.

I travel a lot for work and mostly live and eat at airports. While at CLT airport I stopped by Sycamore Brewing. This by far is the worst place yet. Server who we will call Becky had no personality and clearly didn’t want to be there. Took awhile to get her to come take our order. I asked her if I could just get eggs and bacon. When she returned while she seemed annoyed stated the only way I can do that is if I charge you for each egg separately so I said ok. Proceeded with my order and order eggs over easy and bacon along with coffee and water. She dropped off the flavorless coffee and water with no spoon to stir the coffee with and dropped off the my order which had runny eggs and small pieces of bacon. I waited for a couple off minutes for her to return to ask about condiments which she didn’t so I got up to ask her for some salt, pepper and hot sauce. She never returned to ask us for refills on coffee. Long story short, take your hard earned money and go somewhere when you are in CLT Airport. This place isn’t worth the attitude or the poor quality of food and service

AirPort Bar. Food was ok. Service was lacking. Several items not available. Good selection of beers. I had the CLT chop Salad with salmon.

I ordered the chicken chop salad and wow it was the best salad I’ve ever had. Waitress was very friendly and helpful. 10/10 Added extra chicken in the salad pictured for extra $6. With tip was a total of $33

We asked for a menue and was not greeted well and were told to scan the code on the table. She did not even look at us at all. The young white female wearing a baseball cap was very rude, did not greet us at all, acted as if she not want to be working, and at one point let out a sigh when we sat down. Because of that, we just left. Who wants to eat where you don't feel welcomed. If corporate is reading this, find someone who wants to work and with people skills to greet your customers. She did not have a name tag on or else I would have posted her name....

This is a nice taproom located in the Charlotte, NC airport. They offer food as well as their locally brewed beers. I enjoyed the Spring Lager. They offer a lot of different types of food. Some items include coconut shrimp , sandwiches, hamburgers, salads, homemade hummus, pimento cheese dip and pizza. It was really close to our gate which made it nice especially when our flight was delayed.

This is not your average airport bar restaurant. The bartender recommended some beers which were spot on, so clearly he understood what we were looking for. The burger and fries were very good and on nice dishes. The fries were perfectly cooked something not everyone does well. It was a great respite during our layover. Our server was attentive and I think the prices were fair.

I stopped by Sycamore in the Charlotte airport during a flight delay and was impressed by the strongest martinis I've ever had--definitely a win! However, I took a gamble on the buffalo wings after seeing airport staff order them. Unfortunately, they were overly breaded and didn't taste fresh. I also wanted all flats but learned they couldn't accommodate that. To help with the disappointment, I ordered the kale Caesar salad. When the bartender offered not to charge me because 95% of the wings were still on the plate, I felt a level of customer satisfaction that will definitely bring me back. The bar has an open layout and is exposed to the open crowd in the terminal. It is clean with large u shaped bar. I would return for drinks, but I can't recommend any of the food I tried

Food (4/5): I had a glass of Villa Maria sauvignon blanc - it was great, but really expensive. The 9oz pour was $24 which was REALLY high. So, they lost a star for this. The fried chicken and grits was good. -The deep fried Brussel sprouts and the roasted butternut squash in the cheese grits were great. I really enjoyed these in the dish. The fried chicken thighs sliced were ok, - the chicken was a bit flat and the crust was just ok. Service (5/5): Lisa, our server was great and service was great. It's a bit annoying that you can only order and pay from the app. Really weird that she put in an order and when I went to pay, it was magically already on my phone? Not sure how that happened. Ambiance (3/5): It is an airport mall, but it was still nice. There was plenty of time to sit on a bar overlooking the people walking by and a plug in at the seat. Don't hesitate to come here if you have time at CLT!

Aweful service there was no one there the place was almost empty don't know why they staff this place the people who work there are useless to say the least‼ food was okay although they were out of almost everything I realize this is a airport restaurant but, I don't think I've ever not tipped my server, but this lady was just to lazy and sorry to be a service worker

I had a delay in Charlotte and was hungry, so I stopped in for breakfast. I sat at the bar and sampled a few beers, and ordered a light IPA. It had some fruity notes with light hoppiness. I ordered an egg, bacon and cheese sandwich on a locally made briosh bun. I loved it! The chef was generous with the bacon and the pieces were huge. The scrambled eggs were perfect. It was served with cut potatoes and sweet potatoes, which were also tasty. The service was friendly and check out was fast as I used the qr code on the counter to pay my bill. I like this option, especially in the airport. I would stop here again on a layover and grab a quick bite and a beer.

The service here was phenomenal, Chanae was a great person to interact with as well as Jasmine. The atmosphere was amazing. A great conversation was had. The food and drinks were fantastic. Highly recommend

Jan. 16th Charlotte Airport. Bartender/server Jasmine. In my 60 years I have NEVER had such shocking horrific RUDE service. I have worked in her shoes for many years and I'm speechless absolutely no excuse for attitude and rudeness. Some nice neighbors asking a simple questions responding with sacarasm even asking if they were stupid as to why they couldnt order a drink. Which was because she was pregnant and her feet hurt. Cut them off and told the nice gentleman to pack up his meal and leave. No one was intoxicated or rude. I cant stop shaking my head in disbelief of what i just witnessed. THE FOOD WAS SUPERB!!!! Food was 5**** Sevice 0*​

My flight was delayed due to weather, so I figured I would get a beer while I waited. The space is open with a large "U" shaped bar and several tables. The menu is fairly standard; burgers and fries. They had a fairly small tap list for a brewery, and it mainly seemed to be comprised of different versions of Mountain Candy... I had a side order of fries and a Mountain Candy IPA. The bartender was friendly enough Overall, it was ok, but with so many other options at CLT now I'll probably stop elsewhere for my pre-flight beers.

Very rude staff, the guy with dreads was incredibly disrespectful and got really ugly with another customer while I was eating there. Disappointed that management didn't bother to correct him either. Will not be eating here again.

Very rude wait staff. She was abrupt and insulting and when we left she continued to bad mouth us, not expecting that we could hear her. She's unkept and sloppy but the way she treats customers is appalling

Beer isn't bad. The pumpkin latte is actually really good even though I'm not a pumpkin fan at all. The pizza is awful. Just don't do it!

Great spot to eat and drink in between flights! Good selection of local brews and cider on draft as well as regular selection and local in cans. Reasonably priced for airport too! Pizza was wonderful, pictured is the Meat Pizza. 8 slice pizza for $omfortably fed 2 adults. The service was great with good 90s-early 2000s music in the background.

This one is inside the airport near gate E45. I had a Farro Salmon salad, with artichokes, dried tomatoes, spinach, farro and salmon. I was shockingly surprised at how fresh and delicious this was, especially inside the airport. My new eatery when going thru Charlotte in the E concourse.

Nothing to complain about her nor brag. So all and all it's safe and service was ok. Wings were extreme small but decent.

Been connecting thru CLT over the past 4 years. It's about damn time there is finally a restaurant that serves a good breakfast! See you next time!

Had a few minutes and this restaurant was across from my gate. FANTASTIC food. The sprouts were amazing and the pizza was not only great, but more food than anyone could expect for $16 or $18 at an airport. And I didn't even expect service because of the way the restaurant is laid out, but the gentleman who waited on me was really professional and always checking in to see if I needed anything. This place needs more stars.

Odd service. Ordering through QR code and paying before done. Fries cold and burger was luke warm and not very good. Ate it in order to not cause argument with partner.. not a good spot at all.

I ordered a margarita pizza and it was literally just a cheese pizza. Not even a good one. The crust was chewy and nothing about it was good. I asked why I didn't get margarita and she said margarita and cheese were the same thing when they're absolutely not. Call it what it is. If it's cheese put cheese, don't try and dress it up.

Food cold and nasty. Thank goodness they had mountain candy. Used the QR and got someone else's bill. Bartender was running around and a bit a mess. $45 for beer and burger is a bit much.

Nice airport bar with friendly staff. The breakfast cook simply has a different vision of food from me. Based on what I was served they like soft floppy bacon, small over the counter biscuits, and cheese grits where the grits were hard to find. Kinda makes sense because their only creamer is high fructose corn syrup mixed with dairy solids (coffee mate) the coffee itself was very good.
