Maintenance has been in and out for things after moving in several times. They are always quick to finish the job and was so kind upon introduction! The grounds are kept nice, my spot is pretty quiet, and the laundry facility right behind me is a plus.

Definitely the BEST maintenance team around. Whenever an issue arise, I can count on quick responses and the problem resolved. My a/c froze and when contacting the after hours number, I received call right away from Don. Don throughly explained how it would be resolved and someone will be in the morning to follow up. Sure enough Junior was there to inspect and maintain the unit, making sure it was running as normal. Not to mention, Junior noticed one of kitchen light bulbs was out and swapped out real quick. Thank you to the Sycamore Creek Mgmt for having such an awesome team!

Cindy at the front office is definitely the go to person for these apartments. We came in for a tour for my uncle and while we didn’t have an appointment we could tell she was very busy and juggling multiple things at once. She made sure that she took her time to show us around and give us all the information we needed. She did not rush us or make us feel like we were a bother! If anything she made us feel welcomed and appreciated as future residents! Unfortunately his move date was pushed out to the end of year, but when the time comes this will be our first choice for a new home!

All I can say is WOW! Fantastic place and management! Mrs. Michelle was amazing, and made this process too easy! Beautiful amenities; the park, the clothes center, the fitness center. All of it is well maintained. Proud to call this place home! Thank you for all your help Mrs. Michelle!

I enjoy living in this complex and have not had any major problems. The price is competitive, the area is nice, and it's mostly quiet. I do wish the appliances were a little more up-to-date. They function fine but look like something that would be purchased in the nineties. The thermostat is the old school (Where are you push the lever up/down). I wish they would upgrade to an electric thermostat. Maintenance is really friendly and does a good job of staying on top of any issues. The only other thing I can say is a little bothersome is that they seem to move (a little too fast) when a tenant moves out. My unit got repainted n they did a pretty sloppy job. The drawers in the bathroom had some hair and dirt that were just painted over rather than cleaned first. The price is a little less than similar units in the area, so these minor issues are things I can live with! Great view from the balcony! Nice to be able to walk to the YMCA, Dollar store, Park, and other places also!

I recently toured these apartments for my grandmother and was really impressed! Cindy is friendly and informative, and the property felt welcoming and well-kept. The model unit was beautiful, and everything looked clean and modern. It definitely left a great first impression!

There was a problem with my identity when I applied, but they worked it all out for me and I have never felt more at home. Or more at peace. I can peacefully relax and be at home here.

Yelp
Fleas during the summer, no help from management couldn't even live at my apartment I am paying 1,250 for. it was not liveable for my cat or me to be in, I rarely complain about these things but it was just too much especially due to the upstairs neighbors leaving the water running and soaking your entire bathroom and kitchen roof. Caused mold in my apartment, I couldn't stay there again then after repair the apartment smelled like a hardware store... corner upstair neighbors in building 10 mad dog you from their balcony when you drive up , people park in two lanes to tag team a spot for buddies management don't do nothing about. Look away honestly.

Yelp
DONT LIVE HERE! After moving from the east coast to Texas, I was excited to start a new journey after staying with family. I applied here and got more than excited when I obtained the approval. The location and pricing were attractive and located near my child's school. TOTAL SCAM! Well, my excitement didn't last long because after I was approved I received a call from Rachel telling me that I would be charged an additional full months rent with very little explanation. That should have been a sign but I proceeded with the move. After moving into a 2 bedroom, I soon within hours discovered that the unit was outdated and infested with roaches. Once I advised the Gina, I was told that the unit was clean so I literally had to demand out of the lease and for the apartment to be sprayed. I also asked to be moved to a better unit and was initially told by Brittany that they only could offer me a 1 bedroom at the some rate as a 2 bedroom. LIES. After a day I asked to be let out of the lease, again, well out of the air, I was informed that a new updated new unit was available. So I was moved to a corporate suite (for a week, while I waited for my unit) with my 6 year old and had to do all this moving alone, I was told that maintenance couldn't help. I soon learned that the new updated 2 bedroom wasn't actually an upgrade but it was simply cleaner than the ROACH infested unit. Making matters worse, after finally settling into a unit, I learned that the neighbors don't pick up after their dogs so getting to my apartment was nasty and disgusting. I soon faced personally problems and asked out of my lease after only being there for less than a month and was told "no" after all they put me through, they intended to report a lease termination on my credit report. STAY AWAY, the staff present as nice but it's not a good place, it's dirty, people don't pick up after pets, old appliances and is prone to roaches. SCAMMERS!

Yelp
I was in the market for a new complex in the Schertz Cibolo area, I viewed multiple complexes and in the end I ended up moving to San Marcos for the sake of travel time to my job. However, I feel I would be doing Sycamore Creek a disservice by not noting how kind and courteous the staff was while I was there. The complex appeared to be well kept and if I do end up moving to the Schertz area in the future this will definitely be my first choice. I do not typically write reviews but the overall upkeep and the excellent customer service of this location should be praised.

Yelp
Great place and Great staff, specially Gina. She helped us with everything and made it really easy for us to get in love with these apartments!

Yelp
Hi there! I have been living here for three years and for good reason. The location is wonderful. It's close to parks, restaurants, nail shops, and doctor's offices. All the staff I have come in contact with are absolutely wonderful and very helpful. I always leave with a smile when I leave the front office. I feel safe here not only because the police station is right down the street but because I have seen police patrol the complex on occasion just to check up. They have 2 pools. Yes 2! They also have a gym, playground, and community room. So if you are looking to tent come on by!

Yelp
Renters Beware. The leasing staff is quite nice. The management team leaves a lot to be desired. I was harassed by neighbors because they did not like my pet. If you get a complaint you are immediately in the wrong and get a violation. No discussion with you as a resident. When I left I broke my lease because it was getting TOO stressful to go home. I did not know what to expect next from the apt complex. I gave them forwarding info and notice when I left, they consider this a skip. I worked for an apartment complex and they need to learn the difference between a skip and a broken lease. They are extremely over priced for the space you get and do not repair safety issues. I was able to rent a home with 3 x the space for a hundred more dollars a month. Look before you leap with this apartment complex.

Yelp
First of all, let me say that I NEVER write reviews. Furthermore, I never write BAD reviews, but this has to be done. Let me first give some positives (though there are few) before I shed light on some of the more unbecoming features of this complex. 1. decent amount of parking 2. no excessive problems with neighbors/noise 3. laundry facilities are kept in good condition (however, I do not know if that is on the part of the tenants or the management) Now.. let me tell you what we have experiences in just OUR unit. We have a mouse that has lived with us since we moved in. Luckily he doesn't get into the pantry (that we have noticed), but it's because he lives in the stove and surrounding cabinets. The apartment came and put 2 mouse traps and one sticky pad (all in areas that were of no use) during our first few weeks of living here. At least they tried, I will give them that much. Another ongoing issue is with the bathroom sink. We are in one of the 2 bedroom units, and the sink in the smaller bathroom is a nightmare!! You can only turn one knob at a time which means you can only use piping hot water or ice cold (dependent on the season). Also, it makes a terrible noise half the time like the pipes are going to explode. It's nonsense. In addition to the ongoing issues in our unit we also had two more incidents. The first of which was BED BUGS!!!! Now, when we signed our lease, keep in mind that I was 4 months pregnant. My sister had been getting bites for MONTHS but we thought it was mosquito season and she had acquired the bites from being outside. However, we had a rude awakening when we discovered bedbugs in one of the rooms- by this time my baby was 8 weeks old. Let me side note for a moment and just say that we have NEVER had bed bugs before, and none of the residence that we moved our furniture from now has or has ever had bedbugs. With that being said, the apartment manager at the time tried to blame US for the infestation! Eventually they paid for treatments after we did our research and found out our rights as tenants. But let me tell you, it took TWO major treatments and THREE follow-up treatments (FIVE total!!! over a span of about 2 1/2-3 months) to get rid of these bugs- during all of which we had to vacate the premises. If you don't have children, let me tell you it is very difficult to pack up all of your things and leave your apartment every TWO WEEKS especially when you have an 8 week old infant and are recovering from an emergency cesarean section. During the process of this we not only found our that ANOTHER unit in our building had an infestation of bed bugs but that a PREVIOUS TENANT had bed bugs for months and never reported it (or so the management said). And they tried to blame us?! Finally, the most recent problem we have had has been left unresolved for weeks now and ultimately compelled me to do this review. It rained about 3 weeks ago and we accrued some water damage above our fireplace. It wasn't "awful" but it was pretty bad and definitely noticeable. Now, we were not worried about the damage as far as our deposit goes because part of the "deal" when we signed was that we had a $0 deposit. However, need I remind you- I have a 6 month old at this time. I did not want mold or mildew growing in our living room where the baby plays. I notified the office immediately after it happened, nada. I then called them two days later to remind them that our unit has not been looked at, again- nothing. Actually, their excuse was that we only had 1 maintenance man on duty and it was going to take some time. Finally I went to the office again and I was told that "management is aware of the problem but they are trying to get the roofers to come out". Needless to say, that never happened. So here we are, THREE WEEKS later, and guess what?... it poured rain again last night. Now, the water damage that we had is 3 times worse and directly over our TV, VCR/DVD player, and cable box. Water was also coming through the mantle of the fireplace which soaked the carpet in the surrounding areas. So here is attempt number FOUR to notify the office of water damage in our unit. Overall, you can see that we have not had a pleasant experience here. I gave the positives along with my honest review. I apologize for the length but I felt that being thorough was necessary. Take it for what you will, but I would NOT recommend this complex to anyone.
