"Sycamore Tavern has everything your little heart could want out of a sports bar - filet mignon sliders, tons of beer on tap, and 55 flat-screen TVs. Yup, 55 flat-screen TVs." - Kat Hong, James Montgomery

Had an event at The Dojo of Comedy, located upstairs at The Sycamore Tavern. Great little room. Good for about 80 people, and has it's own bar. Show was great, drinks were good, and the buffalo spring rolls I had were definitely memorable.

I came here for a sports event and sat at a booth. Service is pretty slow at the booth. The waitress left glasses from the previous customers at ours and took 15 min to clean it up before we could get menus. From what I understand if you sit at the bar there's better service. Prices were $10-20 for food and beer under $10. Good burgers and lots of parking. But the portions can be small. Watch the bill if you pay cash, since we were given incorrect change.

Google
This place has an excellent happy hour until 8pm and when it's not happy hour they have reasonably priced drinks for LA. The food is tasty and there is comedy in the neat back area (the Dojo room) on select nights. It's a super fun and chill space. Also, there is FREE on site parking! Seriously, so much parking in this giant lot. Get out eat some food and watch some comedy and don't worry about parking tickets. If you plan on taking advantage of all the cheap and delicious drinks; please make your responible friend drive or get an lyft.

Google
New place for me and what a find ! Bartender suggested the meatballs OMG Beyond they came with pizza rolls with garlic parmesan cheese homemade marinara and it tasted like it was made in house. Totally suggest this place great music good prices and happy hour and the parking free always

Kristin S

Google
Good bar food selection, okay beer selection, great cocktails, free parking, and comedy shows 6 nights a week. The staff is above par. And you never know who you might see at a show. All of that is still true, however, if you are female I highly suggest you either go in a group or with a male friend. If you are comedian there are open mics most nights, but they are pay to play.

Google
Great food, great service, and the best Eagles bar that I have found on the west coast. The place gets ecstatic during games! The Tavern Burger is the way to go if you are looking to enjoy a great meal. Best bar environment by far!

Marsha Wilkins

Google
Love it here, comedy night -----Comedian Margot Evans, she ROCKS.... Absolutely Freaking Hilariously Funny! Will definitely recommend. Must go see Margot and the other comedian line up! Great laughs, yummy food and delicious drinks! Fun date night!

Google
Don't hesitate. I went during an OSU bowl game event and was very impressed with the food, staff & service while they were under pressure with a full house. Probably the cleanest cutlery I have seen in LA. Best paper napkins. Sweet waitstaff/hostess and aware/active bartenders. Will return!

Yelp
A decent little make over from when this place use to be Happy Endings. It's still pretty much a sports bar but with better food now. I've been here a few times to watch college football on Saturday's, this is one of the Ohio state fan club bars so fellow Big Ten fans be prepared for that. I like a lot about this bar since they reopened, but I can't give 4 stars to a place that charges $20+ for a pitcher off beer that comes with red plastic solo cup. That's as JV as it get. But besides the over priced beer this is a big roomy bar with lots of TVs for sports & great tasting food.

Yelp
Eagles Bar! Nice people- the patrons and the employees. The bartender even picked up my name pretty quickly on the busy Sunday rush. And there's a waitress moving amount us during commercials taking drink orders. There's a decent crowd and plenty of seating. Typical sports bar, wooden, like Cheers almost. And on certain days you can join other fans playing football in the parking lot. I had a cider that I like and some amazing truffle fries. If you're a Phillies fan, stop on by!

Yelp
I came here right when happy hour ended which I was a little bummed about, but on the bright side, there was free street parking after 8pm. There was two floors to this place. I came to see a stand up comedy show upstairs. The blonde, young waitress was super nice and friendly. The place is a little pricey for mediocre food. I ordered the $16 nachos and added chicken for $3 extra. I didn't mind paying for some extra protein but at least put a good amount in there! I'm a skinny gal and I need some meat on my bones! I felt like I was eating someone's leftovers as there was only a good 5 pieces of chicken in there. Pretty disappointed. I left that place still hungry.

Yelp
There's only two places I go to watch a UFC fight and this is one of them. The bartenders are awesome, Vinny is the man!! I will say, their food is so underrated... every time I order something different from their menu, it's always really good (and this is before the drinking happens) lol. What more can you ask? Good food, great drinks, board games, plenty of TV's and plenty of space to sit and hang.

Yelp
***CREDIT CARD FRAUD*** Watch out! Theses guys fraudulently charged my credit card one MONTH after I last visited. It looks like the bartender upstairs is recording credit card numbers and will charge them later hoping you won't notice. Luckily, Amex emailed me immediately because of the unusual "card not present" transaction. This means they had to manually type in my credit card number, expiration date, and CVV code for the transaction to go through. It is ILLEGAL for them to store your credit card number for any reason. When I called and spoke to one of the bartenders downstairs, she actually admitted to me that she'd received SEVERAL calls for the same reason just before I called. I spoke to the manager (owner?) that evening and he tried to give me some story that they had just forgotten to charge a bunch of cards and were running all the charges through that day. I had already gone through my statement and verified that I was charged last month for my drinks. This was obviously a lie and it means he was aware of the fraud his employees are perpetuating.

Jenn C.

Yelp
I came here in a group of two couples and a child to watch the UFC fight in December 30th. The venue is average at best. Our table had a bunch of power boards and electrical cables underneath it. I would hate to see someone spill a drink over all of that mess. The food menu is overpriced and ordinary. The beer isn't cold. Also - they don't have sound for the undercard fights and the happy hour menu is not offered during special events - even though the signs are still prominently displayed throughout the venue. My one star goes to the female staff member who served us. She was pleasant and helpful. We will not be going back here.

Evan M.

Yelp
Vinny! The only person you need to meet when you enter the GOOD OLD TAVERN. He is the most charming, funny, charismatic, and talented bartender in Los Angeles. He will make you feel welcome and also have suggestions of any place you might want to go around the area. Also, this place has SNEAKY good food that you can munch on as you are surrounded by many television sets. You get a nice mixture of people and the place typically is that loud. They also have a comedy club upstairs if you like a good laugh. Typically the DOJO is open on Friday and Saturday and they have a some great comedians that can give you a few good laughs after you have some nice drinks at this charming spot. The prices of the food and drinks are solid for the area you are in..check it out and tell Vinny.. I sent ya!

Jim H.

Yelp
Is it, you know, ever open? Ive swung by a few times at midnight or 1230am and it's not just been closing but CLOSED: lights off, chairs up, completely empty... If it HAD been open, would have given it 4 stars: decent drinks, food a bit more creative than they should swing for (those eggroll things = nah). Hope it shapes up or sells to someone who wants to get at it. The hood could use another good spot.

Joanne A.

Yelp
I love Sycamore Tavern! The sports bar has about 20 large screen tvs and we watched the UFC! This place was hopping but they had plenty of staff to handle it all! The energy was amazing...and the service too! The menu was honed to perfect selections and affordable! From salads, my favorite is their kale salad...a big giant hot pretzel that made you want to cry it was so good...tomato pesto pizza (officially my favorite!) and of course onion rings and fries (hey we were hungry!) Does it get any better than great food, friends and atmosphere...I think not! Oh and they have a parking lot and it's free!!! Check out Sycamore Tavern! You'll be glad you did!!!

Yelp
After much debate we have come up with a 2.5 out of five star rating for this sunset strip situated new tavern concept restaurant/bar with par excellant food... sub par Frozen chicken wings that we basically left and delicious spring rolls which took us completely by surprise - they didn't have Guinness on tap and the tables had formica on top... Unfortunately this establishment seems destined for failure & the patrons that were around the bar scene seemed depressed and dreary? Not me just an observation - we got the hell out of there... place was dead UPDATE: new management? Menu updated? Pizza very good. Place is on the upswing! WOW! Biggest turn around in a pub/restaurant that I've seen in many years good luck Sycamore I wish you all the best

Robert B.

Yelp
Great atmosphere in this establishment that had Ohio State on at least 15 televisions. Try the brown ale. The pepperoni pizza is not an original recipe but was made very well. A must visit on the Sunset Strip.

Yelp
I want everyone to know that I have literally never left a review ever. If a place is not perfect, I let it go. But this place is absolutely horrible. After many people told me to come here, I decided to cave. The place is overstaffed and no one actually pays attention to TRULY what is gping on. We ordered an appetizer (wings), and were served wings AND fries. We kept asking if the wings come with fries and they were confused and left for 5 minutes so we started eating the food.... They CAME BACK AND ACTUALLY TO THE FOOD FROM US AND GAVE THE SAME FOOD TO THE CORRECT TABLE!!!!!!!!!! We then waited another 7-10 minutes and we never ended up getting our appetizer!!! While watching our waitress pour shots for people. HORRIBLE SERVICE. the best part is when we asked to leave they didn't even say sorry. The waitress just took her undeserved tip and that was it. Absolutely horrible service. ALSO FYI- IM IN CUSTOMER SERVICE.

Ray L.

Yelp
Good place to watch a sporting event. Lots of screens everywhere. The service is terrible, however. Everytime I asked to order something they told me to order from the bar. What are the waitresses there for then?? Food took forever to come but it was ok. Some tables have a screen right in front of you, which is great!

Brian R.

Yelp
Decent happy hour. Very very good spicy chicken egg roll. Bartender was helpful, but the place wasn't anything to write home about.

Lisa B.

Yelp
Monday night they have country music upstairs. I though it would be fun, but the music was bad and the instructors for the dance were good... but there were no people. We started at the lower bar, grabbed some food and couple of drinks. The bartender was rude from the beginning but we took it as a joke at first. He recommended the Asian style wings. We also got a burger- good size and the fries were good. It took a very long time for it to get to us- although we were the only ones at the bar! The wings were ok.... I was hoping better wings at a spot like this. Happy hour prices were from $5 to $7. Bartender never refilled out water... when I called him, TWICE he completely ignored me even though he was standing next to me. I left him a good tip but I will never come back.

Amie A.

Yelp
Two Start because they show all the UFC fights with sound from preliminaries - Main event. Other than that its basically the same place as it was before when it was Happy Endings. They just painted the outside, bought new plates & changed the menu a bit. Management is still the same which explains why they have poor customer service reviews. New menu is meh... I had the Chicken wings which weren't that good and we also ordered fries which were super salty. Onion rings were okay. Prices are way to high. Six dollars for a pretzel (basically a glorified hoagie bun) and $3 for a bag of chips that should be in a child's lunchbox. They also advertise Happy Hour through out the bar Monday - Friday, 4-7pm... it fails to mention they don't honor the happy hour prices if there is a UFC event. I guess no biggie since the happy hour price is really only $1 cheaper compared to the regular menu. Not to mention the roof started leaking from the rain half way through the event. It's a better deal if you pay to watch the fight at home & cook yummier food.

Jason F.

Yelp
Man, what a bummer, this place is a total piece of s^%*t. Aesthetically, this place is OK, but outside the clever paint job, yikes. So many little no no's. They're trying for a gastropub look: high end prices, draft beer in 'cool' looking pint glasses, random menu of seemingly hip items. but it's trash. Those cool glasses are nowhere near a pint, that bloody mary is a cheap mix accompanied by a limp stalk of celery with an ashy hue and that $17 cubano sandwich is... dammit, I don't want to be too mean, so I'll refrain from using dog food as comparison, but it's bad. Repeat: $17! Full disclosure, I rarely write reviews and generally give people and places the benefit of the doubt but I feel the management is screwing over the people here. Do better please. *Service was great, nice and attentive bartender. *I love a good sports bar, love all the TV's but serve simple good bar food at a wage for the people.

Yelp
I used to come here every week because this is where my sports league meets up after our games. The food is average, and they have a good selection of beers. The deals they offer to the league aren't really deals because I asked to look at the regular menu and most items are the same price as the regular menu. Really the only reason I came here was for the league. I would much MUCH rather go eat and drink elsewhere. The bartenders are nice and I have no complaints regarding them. There is just nothing special about this place. There have been multiple incidents of cars getting their windows broken in the parking lot. After this happened again three weeks ago to some friends (I was inside when a friend came in asking if anyone drove this and that car), I decided to stop going. The league has expressed concern about this and Sycamore's only offer was to start charging $8 for valet parking. I wrote Sycamore an email and waited a week to give them time to respond before sending a follow up email, and I have not even received any acknowledgement. This place is not worth $8 parking, and it is not worth getting your windows smashed. It is not worth going if you're gonna worry about something happening to your car while you're parked there for just a couple of hours. Management knows about this recurring problem, but they don't seem to care about their customers, not even enough to respond to an email. It's also in their interest to do something about the parking security but they don't seem to think so. Anyways, I will not be going back.

Janine K.

Yelp
I don't understand what these one star reviews are about, they make no sense to me. They seem like some kind of personal attack on someone and I hope they just get bumped down on the list of reviews for this place. I'm also not sure why the hating on the UFC events played here either, as this place doesn't charge admission to walk in when events are on, others DO!!! For starters, I'm not even from LA, I don't even live in California, I live in the burbs of Chicago, though I frequently travel to LA a few times a year. I visited this place back in April '16 when it was "Happy Endings" it was Karaoke night... and had a blast here! The environment there was chill...your typical sports/college bar away from the crazy and tourists on Hollywood Blvd, but still "Hollywood". I was back in the area about a month ago and decided to come back since my last visit was a great one. Although I like trying NEW places when I'm out of town on vacation, I definitely don't mind repeat visits when the prior experience was a pleasurable one, and since I visit LA often, I do repeat my business at a handful of places. I learned this place is now Sycamore Tavern with a total overhaul...not that it was bad before, but it looks pretty damn nice in there now! This time I was here for eats & drinks because I wanted to stay off Hollywood Blvd and didn't want to just go ANYWHERE and be disappointed. A charming dude by the name of "Trevor" waited on us. He actually indicated that he, too was from the burbs of Chicago along with many of the folks running this place! Small world!!! The service he provided was phenomenal, the food was great, and they had a variety of drinks to choose from including a number of craft beers. Since I was technically on "vacation" in a climate warmer than where I'm from, the Boulevard Brewing Company "Tropical Pale Ale" caught my eye on the board in there so I went with a few of those...Unlike other reviews here, the beer was COLD, and I enjoyed them. I also have to mention that the bar was well staffed, the last thing you want to do is sit at a bar and wait...and wait...and wait to get waited on. These guys here are all on point, kudos to them!!! Apparently when I return to the LA area, which will be SOON...I NEED to come back and try that fluffer nutter... it looks & sounds amazing!!!! :)

Yelp
Stopped in last night hoping to find a new sports bar closer to where I live. Checked them out and the food was overpriced crap. Looked at the beer list.. for a place the claims to have craft beer they have no idea what craft beer really is. Th best they have is White Rascal which barely registers in the craft beer world. I asked the bartender if the list was accurate and if they had any good Belgians on tap. The bartender was a total angry, grouchy jerk and said that White Racal IS a Belgian. I said no that's a wheat beer. He said no it's a Belgian. Hey angry bartender dude with the beard... if you're reading this... https://www.beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/30/9689/ "Witbier" is a Germain word. That automatically makes it a Germain style beer. "Witbier" literally means WHEAT BEER in English. Try being nicer next time, especially when you have no idea what you're taking about. But just try being nicer in general. You're a bartender. You make good money working only a few nights a week and you don't have to be at work until 7 pm. You should smiling. So in review: This place has zero atmosphere. The food is overpriced crap and the beer selection is the same old low end shite you can get at Big Wangs or Buffalo WW or even 7-11. All they did was paint the place a different color and change the sign. It's a really weak attempt at trying to be an upscale bar. Major fail. They're not fooling anyone which was clearly indicated by the fact that it was a Friday night and it was completely empty. Thanks but no thanks. I'll just keep paying the extra Uber fare and go to Barneys... a real bar. And if I want craft beer I'll go to the Surly Goat where they know the difference between Germany and Belgium.

Calvin I.

Yelp
This place is trying to be something that it's not. $7 for SELF parking on a Saturday morning with a big empty lot? $10 for a tiny vodka soda? This is supposed to be a sports bar and it's trying to be a trendy overpriced hollywood bar. Overpriced mediocre food, the servers all have attitude and clearly don't want to be servers. Just when you thought Happy Endings couldn't get any worse they drive up the prices and change the menu attempting to be fancy. #fail Half the TVs are fuzzy and not a clear picture. For breakfast/brunch they have 4 items... 4. They don't have iced tea. I could go on but I think you get the point. So many other better options close by.

Justin R.

Yelp
Went there for the first time after driving around looking for a happy hour. Luckily, we found this place and it had an all day happy hour on Monday's. The happy hour menu was good. Our bartender was great. She made wonderful drinks and had great service. The food was okay and the facility was clean. I'll definitely go back and try more.

Adam R.

Yelp
Went here a few years ago to watch and Ohio State football game. It's a sterile and boring atmosphere that hardly differs from the parking lot. Annoying staff to boot. Don't go here if you want to watch football.

Stephanie K.

Yelp
Love the remodeled look and feel! Definitely seems more upscale and cleaner than when the bar was called Happy Ending. Nice selection of beers. Haven't tried the food yet but would love to make this my regular go to bar. Bartenders and servers are nice and friendly. Perfect place to have an event as well since they have a private room upstairs! I would like to see possibly more pool tables, maybe a photo booth and better music selection. Best part.... They have parking!

Mike S.

Yelp
I'm a neighborhood guy, I come because they have the football games on Sunday. There's some new waitress who doesn't like black people. I've never received such rude service completely unprovoked. I didn't like a beer, and asked if I could taste it again (I had the same beer last week and loved it but this week it was not the same IPA and not an IPA at all). I asked to retest it at the next beer and she gave me a bunch of shit like I'm not the customer. Then I ordered the seasoned wings, which After trying I decided wasn't great (it was sweet and not savory or spicy). After getting denied by my waitress to ask to change a game that was already on 5 TVs, I finally complained to the manager who comped the wings. I decided to have one or two more and that same bartender came up and aggressively shouted "YOU LIKE THE WINGS NOW BETTER THAT THEY ARE FREE?!" and walked off. She's from Australia, so you'll hear the accent. Just a heads up to anyone who comes by and has this bartender, just know you're going to get shit service and yelled at, and to probably ask for another bartender. None of her white customers got any attitude, but I was criticized from the moment she took my order. Just looking out for y'all. **EDIT** After posting this upset review, the manager saw it, and promptly kicked me out. He did let me finish my beer and said he would talk with the bartender after the shift, but I was not allowed to stay for the duration of the first set of Sunday games. Very disappointed as a normal patron of this bar, make your own decisions about whether you're likely to receive the same service.

Miss J.

Yelp
I really wanted to like this new switch over...but they offer few handcrafted cocktails, their menu sucks, and their prices are way too high for what theyre offering. If youre gonna do it, do it right. Bring in a local, or black market, or scopa... because this is a poor excuse for a change. And advertise for fucks sake. Be excited about what youre offering. Can you say late night happy hour..this is Hollywood! My only compliments are the paint job, new tables/booths, and the 'marble' bar. It definately looks cleaner, and im glad they kept the sports/tvs. It could just be so much better!

Kim S.

Yelp
I come here to see various comedians. It's a very cozy place! The bartenders are always nice and attentive to everyone. The food is good, but I'd like more vegan options. Overall, nice place to hang.

Beverly W.

Yelp
This used to be such a great place but it's gone downhill over the last year. You used to get your money's worth but it's turned into a joke. We loved this place for Ohio State football games, it doesn't have the same appeal anymore. Plus $16 nachos with barely any toppings and minimal flavor..... not worth it. Completely disappointed. . . .

Bill D.

Yelp
We came for Monday night open mic. The host Al was a complete jerk. The bartender seemed annoyed at having a job, and a fight nearly broke out. I miss Happy Endings. I have seen other shows here, and they were well run and enjoyable. This was hopefully an outlier.

Elise A.

Yelp
This place used to be a fun local dive bar with kitschy memorabilia and was always crowded with young party people or sports fans. They also had a great menu and I even would come for lunch with coworkers or happy hour since I worked and live right down the street. Now the place looks like a creepy sterile version of its previous vibe with unwelcoming stark white walls and a sign that says "no hostess seat yourself" at the entrance. If I had never been here I would turn around before walking around the corner to see that it was an actual real bar inside. I guess I never noticed there not being a hostess in the past because there were fun decorations everywhere and always crowded. Now I have never seen more than a few people sitting at the bar and maybe one or two people eating. As for the menu, they removed all of my favorite dishes such as Mac n cheese, penne vodka and chicken quesadillas. Then they jacked up the prices on everything and the quality sucks. Also there are swarms of fruit flies everywhere. I wish they had just kept the place as it was because they are surely losing money by doing a half assed job at "renovating" and slapping on a new name. Maybe this place will be closed again soon and something better will take its place cause after coming here for almost 6 years I'm done.

Rich V.

Yelp
This place is awesome Tuesday and Thursday nights go check out The Comedy Dojo where you'll see comedians like Joe Rogan, Theo Von, Whitney Cummings, and Sam Tripoli just to name a few. The food is amazing not hard on your wallet especially during happy hour definitely a place I intend on coming to more often.

Reid I.

Yelp
We were staying at a hotel across the street and I wanted to watch a Bball game that was only showing on certain cable providers. I called them and they were able to accommodated me and showed it on the TV at the bar and also another big screen. Good location, nice setup, lots of space, and friednly service. Good selection of beers on draft and specials.

TREFF B.

Yelp
Well my old favorite bar "the happy ending" is gone and "sycamore tavern" has replaced it. Walked by tonight as it's very close to my home (same street)! Looks like it might be the same inside. Definitely all new look outside. Hopefully it will still be the Ohio State University LA Alumni bar and hopefully there are still beer pong tables. It's in a great area on Sunset Boulevard just east of LaBrea Ave at Sycamore Ave. The food at the happy ending was excellent tasting bar food so hopefully it's the same kitchen and menu. I'll be going there this weekend for sure.

Melissa B.

Yelp
This is the best bar for NFL games. I love that pretty much every team is represented, and everyone gets along really well. The remodel is gorgeous , the beer list has improved greatly. The fish sandwich is delicious, and you can never go wrong with their pizzas. The service is always warm and friendly, they're just the best!

Roland C.

Yelp
Great spot to watch the fights. I've been here twice on a decent ufc fight night and both times we got a spot at the bar. Not crowded, good service. Large parking lot!!!

Camly N.

Yelp
I am so surprised this place has as low of a rating because their happy hour is amazing! You can get chicken and waffles for $5. I would say their normal dinner menu leaves a lot to be desire, but if you are looking for a happy hour spot this is it! They have a decent size food menu when most spots have only a handful. I will say service is lack luster. There isn't much to be desired; however if you are looking for cheap post work eats this is pretty solid. Plus they have a parking lot so that makes life in Hollywood extra easy.

Sarah F.

Yelp
Great food, great customer service. I especially love the music they play at the bar side at nights. This is also a FABULOUS place for standup comedy shows. The lineups are always fire and there's free parking! (In Hollywood, that's unheard of). Everyone needs to check this place out sometime.

Kate C.

Yelp
Used to be Happy Endings. Has been renovated and changed the name to Sycamore Tavern. The bar itself is now a bit more upscale than it used to be. It's a great place to come and watch football on Sunday, with a special football menu. Loses one star because it's an Ohio State bar on Saturdays...

Kaylin S.

Yelp
Just saw my friends comedy show here. I had no idea there was a second floor with comedy there. AnywAy it was a good show. $5 drink specials and Funny Comedian's made for a fun start to our Saturday night. They have a parking lot that was free!

Jay F.

Yelp
This place is a joke. Ok, so, figure this one out. They keep changing shit and it's just getting worse but apparently they still have happy hour 7 days a week but no happy hour food on the weekends and the "happy hour" drinks are, apparently, according to the server, $1 off all drinks all day during football, but regular happy hour drinks are cheaper, so...you don't have happy hour on the weekends? Just $1 off on drinks during football? Plus, again, no happy hour food? So you don't have happy hour 7 days? Just all beers cost $1 more Tues-Fri after 7. I'm so confused. Need a beer but can't figure out how much it would be... Also, it's a fucking Ohio State and Eagles bar so come here during an Ohio State or Eagles game and you can't watch anything else. I came here to watch a Dodgers NLCS game and they didn't even have it on. Had the Ohio State game on all 20 tvs. What a joke. I'm a Penn State and Giants fan. So, fuck this place for many, many, many, many reasons. Used to be my local watering hole. But now, goodbye.

Robert J.

Yelp
tghk lets start with the pros. For the mo ey the food i had there was really good! I had somw filet mignon with fries and it was like 25 bucks. Now you could tell it wasn't the most premium filet ever but for 25 dollars i mean get real, regardless though it was tasty and i really enjoyed it. The games at the tables are a nice touch too as we were playing cards against humanity while waiting for the check .....and thats where the cons come in, service here was very very slow i do not want to blame the young lady serving because they seemes understaffed however... After the meal we must have waited another hour before finally receiving the check ( no exaggeration ) not sure why the server avoided that long as we were no longer ordering drinks or anything. Anyways regardless of this i would be up to trying this place again as the food and prices were pretty great.

Yelp
This place was amazing when it was Happy Ending. There was always a crowd, the bartenders and servers were social, and the vibe was great. Not sure what their goal was with the remodel and name change, but they missed their mark. I haven't been here in a bit, but during my two most recent visits, it was dead, the bartenders seemed unhappy, and the vibe was awful. It's a real shame.

Yelp
PETA the Aussie is the queen of Sycamore Tavern. She is the best bartender in all the Hollywood land. If you order a drink from her, it will come with more Aussie love than anything you have ever experienced. I came to this place for the first time, and this place is by far the "Cheers" everyone knows your name kinda bar and I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT! Great for games, but even better for the company and the people. A MUST SEE!

Yelp
Want to say I had a good experience but unfortunately I didn't. Service was mediocre drinks were overpriced and the manager was very rude won't be combing here anytime soon and would recommend to anyone...

Yelp
The service here was slow and the food was not fantastic. It took almost 30 minutes to get some beers delivered to the table. I believe the managers need training on how to deal with guests, the fact that the manger on duty went to a table with the server and yelled at the customers because of a lower tip. Obviously the service wasn't up to par, and the guests did not feel as though the tip needed to be any higher. It was very unprofessional for the manager to question a guest's tip that is based off the service from the business.

Yelp
I am giving this review because they have shady business practices. I came here because of the happy hour prices and looked at the website menu before coming here. On the website they have happy hour prices and I ordered based on the prices on the website. I didn't even look at the menu because I knew what I wanted from looking at the menu on the website. However, when it came time for the bill the happy hour prices were completely wrong. I spoke to the manager after I ordered and ate and he said the website was outdated and he didn't honor the website prices. My whole reason for coming to this place was because of the happy hour prices but they lie on the website. Their actual happy hour prices are high and it's not worth it.

Yelp
I was a regular at the old Happy Ending, and I've been here more than a few times since the change, so it's about time I wrote a review. Honestly, I was sad to see a few things go (RIP buffalo spring rolls), but the new menu is pretty legit (the Cubano is my current favorite). Overall, it's a much nicer place, and they even improved upon their pizzas, which I thought were pretty damn good to begin with. They keep drink specials on football days, so it is still a reasonable place to watch the game. Cap, Dan, George, Vinny, and Danielle (sorry if I forgot anyone!) are great bartenders who are as friendly as they are constant. They make a good bar great. And don't forget Meg and Beth on football Sundays!

Yelp
Honestly I'm so disappointed to write this review. This place used to be so fun! Basically they painted the walls a different color, took down the fun drink wheel and raised the prices. Way overpriced for what you get. The staff all has an attitude and is not friendly. $22 for a very average pizza, drinks are insanely overpriced and the expensive drinks are tiny. This place has lost its way and is trying to be bougey but still serves coffee in a paper cup. We will not be returning to this place. So many other better choices nearby.
