Sylas and Maddy's Homemade Ice Cream

The smell is a little strange when you walk in but don’t let that deter you. The ice cream is delicious with some unique flavor combinations. There are a couple dairy free options (an orange sorbet and a raspberry sorbet) and a wide range of toppings. The staff was really friendly and they allow samples. You can’t see the descriptions of the flavors until you get to the counter, so my only suggestion would be to have a menu with the descriptions available. It might make the line move faster!

Have always loved this place. Everytime I always make sure to get Cookie Monster, it’s my favorite. Until today that is. I got unicorn fluff and it’s my new favorite. Never thought that’d happen. I hope they keep it on the menu!! So yummy!

Love this ice cream place. Took a large church group here and the staff were so good to accommodate us. Delicious ice cream and very reasonably priced. The vibes here are immaculate. Anytime we have family in from out of town we make sure to bring them here.

Best ice cream shop in Lawrence on Mass St.! The store is clean and the service was fast and efficient. The ice cream tastes like it's made with good quality ingredients and not the standards fare of ingredients and combinations. It's been a while since I've been to the Olathe location, but I'd say it's just as good.

We really enjoyed our visit to this place! The ice cream was flavorful and super creamy. We found out that the ice cream didn't melt fast compare to all the other ice cream shops we have been to. It turned out that they freeze their ice cream at least eight hours, which is good. If I have another chance, I would love to try their ice cream with the sugar cone or waffle cone. I really love coffee with chocolate chips!

Just to be clear, my fiance and I did not come at time where you guys were busy as usual. You have 40 flavors that are constantly changing. I asked to try one seasonal kind you guys had because I was on the fence, and the employee snapped back and said “you only get two samples”, and then proceeded to act super impatient while we looked. There was no one else is line, and never once have I even asked for a second sample, but if I did and was curious about one of your other 37 flavors (that CHANGE CONSTANTLY), what is the issue with that? I would have just went to baskin robins had I known I’d have to deal with a grumpy employee tonight
