"Nowhere else in London will you find this many Calico Critters, or, as they're known in the UK, Sylvanian Families. The store stocks the full UK range, as well as a large number of imports from the US and Japan. They also do amazing window displays."

This is such a magical place I wish I had visited before. I returned to being a child here, feeling that same deep in my belly excitement as I felt as a child when getting a new toy. I wasn't alone, my excitement was shared by adults and children alike. It is clearly such a loved shop with carefully designed displays. I think it is the care and love that really makes this place the incredible space it is to shop. The displays beat Hamleys displays hands down. I was sorry to hear this shop will be closing but I am so grateful to have got in before they do close. If you haven't gone already do go, treat yourself to a trip down memory lane.

The so is a little on the small side, but filled with sylvanian stock, and customers. Wonderful displays on the inside look very cared for We travelled 60 miles to take our ughter to the shop for her birthday. Be warned the shop has a sign to say it is closing down in April

An adorable toy shop that keeps the charm of traditional toys. I took my partner here for her birthday treat, no matter how old you are, the toys in there tend to tickle your heart so much. The store manager was very helpful and cheerful. I would suggest you visit during the lunch period of the weekdays, to enjoy the place all for yourself. The Sylvanian Families were beautifully designed and the quality speaks for itself. Ultimate birthday gift for the inner child in all of us.

A delightful shop if, like me, you have a child who likes Sylvanian Families - I assume pretty much every Sylvanian Families product available in the UK is on sale here, and some imported from Japan too. Their Dolls House Boutique range make nice additions too. I love the miniature Persian rugs!

I reside in the US and have never had the opportunity to visit the store in person but with that said, they provide the best online shopping experience. They are some of the most knowledgable and friendly people I’ve had the pleasure of talking to. Their site often runs wonderful deals / sales and they have great pricing. They’ve also helped me out on multiple occasions both my providing general information on Sylvanian pieces but also helping hunt down items. I am never made to feel like a nuisance, they truly enjoy what they do and you can tell.

Outstanding service both in person at the shop and through online sales. My daughter loved visiting this shop when we had a trip down to London and for the second Christmas in a row I've put in an order remotely for gifts. This year has been difficult and a source of anxiety due to the postal and courier issues we're having. But SSK got it sorted, sourced alternate couriers and kept me up to date with the parcel's progress. I can absolutely recommend ordering online and if you can pop in do so, the shop is utterly delightful. Thank you for helping Santa out :)

Yelp
I can't believe that this shop exists. A whole shop dedicated to Sylvanian families, just off the main street between Highbury and Stoke Newington. I'm so glad that these toys are still around- I was a huge fan when I was growing up (I had the school, hotel, farm and had a large collection of frogs, bears, raccoons and rabbits) and am pleased to see that they haven't tried to rebrand the toys to make them cool/modern. The shop sells figures, accessories, buildings and props. It is amazing.

Yelp
The only literal shop in the whole world that stocks and sells Sylvanian Families. Remember those toys from your childhood? I loved them, so going to this shop is like taking a trip back in time. The only place in the whole WORLD! Now, I'm completely out of touch with what the kiddies play with these days, but for any parents reading this, please take your young ones here - great toys for your young un's. or amazing nostalgia who grew up with them.

Yelp
Since we were in the Arsenal area, we decided to pop by this little shop. Sylvanian Families are known for their adorable figurines of woodland creatures. They're really big in Japan, but then again anyone can be in Japan. My boyfriend remembers it from his sister's set of toys when they were younger. It was amazing that they were still around. This place is small and tiny, and is the original store from the 80s! It's stuffed with cuteness. You'll "oOo" and "awww" the ice right out of your cold heart. Nothing like the crappy kids play with today... toys with too much make-up and made with cheap plastic. They have every animal you can think of in anthropomorphic form... owls, otters, bears, ducks, and bunnies. And they have cute little clever names, like the raccoons are the Mulberry family and the ducks are the Waddlington families. We left with two bunnies from the Corntop family and a tea set for his sister as a childhood flashback gift.

Yelp
The most charming little shop and the friendliest, most knowledgeable staff. A pleasure to visit!

Yelp
This place is a totally wonderful dreamworld. Its totally not out of place on this quirky stretch and there is something about the feel of those little critters which takes me back! great place to have a wonder into with the misus before a nice coffee down the road. And the staff are lovely and patient with me.
