"Sylvano is a neighborhood Italian spot in South Beach where you can get a pretty good bowl of pasta and sit outside in a pleasant but casual space. It’s a solid weeknight choice or a good spot for a Saturday night dinner when you don’t feel like putting on nice pants. The portions of their pasta - which includes a pretty tasty black linguine with crab meat - are also quite large in case you’re very hungry." - Ryan Pfeffer

Good food. Friendly staff. The outside seating is a plus. The location is a bit rundown and there was a construction when we came here( none the restaurants fault). The steak was well prepared. Samon was quite nice and will balanced. Pizza was good but a bit on the oily side. We also ordered some dessert but I don't remember what it was.

I went to this place before the pandemic and it was beyond expected! The salmon carpaccio was delicious and highly fresh, focaccia was freshly baked and crunchy. Do not miss ordering the cannoli

Delicious Italian food in the heart of Miami Beach. We found something with great flavor at a VERY reasonable price (compared to other SoBe area restaurants). Service overall was good but clumsy at times. I think the staff should huddle/chat a little less near the kitchen. Food was fresh, hot, and absolutely delicious 😋 I wish we would have gone back to try more because everybody’s food looked great. For dessert we had a yummy tiramisu with one of the best tasting creams I’ve ever had. Great location with easy access to many sobe amenities so stop here for grub, save a few bucks then do the fun stuff

Great Italian Restaurant with good prices.. Good and attentive waiters (real Italian).. Wine is good! Temperature of the wine perfect and the restaurant does not care if you wish to take out your the rest of your bottle (which they pack well!!) if she's not empty. Wines by the glass are around 9 USD so it really saves you money to take a bottle from the moment you drink 4 glasses.. Pizza is delicious!! Same quality as we taste every year while skiing in Italy 🇮🇹. Pasta is truly al dente.. Also really delicious! Eggplant was well cooked.. A real Italian experience in a nice restaurant (a little hidden in a normal neighborhood towards the Northern part of south Beach).. But far better quality than the restaurants (tourist 'trap' is not the word.. but at least tourist faced) on Lincoln.

I really don’t understand the good reviews for this restaurant. Service was very good but slow. Atmosphere was so-so. The food was the real surprise here: for a place claiming to offer real Italian food, it was the furthest thing from it I’ve tasted. Tried the pizza, pasta and fried calamari. The Parmesan tastes like dried out cheddar, mozzarella like melted cheddar, all the sauces were too sweet and the pizza dough was very greasy and industrially cooked. Overall really tasteless. One of the worst meals we had. That being said, this could be good by American standards, while I’m comparing it to the real deal. But foreigners be aware: it tastes nothing like Italian food.

Best Risotto alla Pescatore in town! My wife and I love to come here. The outdoor patio is great to spend a nice time there. Highly recommend place. Try everything what you see in the menu, you wouldn't be disappointed.

Absolutely loved everything about this restaurant! The waiter was warm and attentive, the rose wine was perfect, I took the crab black linguine and loved it! The tiramisu was so delicious! The outside garden is charming, I will definitely be back! This place has great food, ambience and Italian soul!!

I don’t understand these positive reviews. If you think their pizza is the best ever, I feel sorry for you because you haven’t tasted the real deal! The pizza is way too fatty and salty, the oil was just simmering with the ingredients. The pizza dough and size is good though. The tuna tartar was crazy big! And I loved it. That’s why this place got 3 stars instead of 1. The service in this place is good, and the staff can give you really nasty looks if you don’t tip them at the end.
