Absolutely disgraceful. This place is a driver’s worst nightmare. I was stuck here for over 8 hours waiting to get unloaded — for a standard delivery. No urgency, no updates, and the staff acted like it was completely normal. Zero respect for drivers or our time. You can tell they’re used to wasting people’s entire day and couldn’t care less. This isn’t just bad — it’s straight-up incompetent. If you’re a dispatcher or carrier, do yourself a favor and never book a load to Sysco Fremont. Places like this are why drivers quit this industry. Complete failure of logistics and management. Never again.

Hands down one of the worst places to deliver. I was stuck at this location for over 8 hours just to get unloaded — completely unacceptable. Showed up on time, and still had to wait forever with no explanation, no updates, and no professionalism from the staff. They clearly don’t care about drivers’ time or schedules. This kind of delay is a major hit to productivity and pay. If you’re a driver or dispatcher, avoid Sysco Fremont unless you want to waste an entire day sitting in your truck for no reason. This place is a joke.

Unloaded within 2 hours of delivery time. Place is not bad as all the reviews suggest. Check in lady at the guard shack was nice and check in process was easy and smooth. Entrance is on Christy street. Enter the gate and park on left side then walk to the guard shack to check in. They give you dock right away. Bathrooms are OK. No complaints. Overall good experience.

Our rating is actually 0 stars, but Google won't let you write a review without giving at least 1 star. Every negative comment in the reviews that you read is true. They are rude to drivers and incredibly difficult to work with. Our driver was on a load that the broker had rescheduled the delivery appointment and apparently Robert was not involved in the rescheduling of the appointment and refused to unload our trailer until 2 days later. He would not work with the broker or customer to get the trailer off-loaded as a work-in. He told my driver that he was the only one who could change an appointment and that our rate con from the broker was not a product of Sysco and meant nothing. If you are offered a load that delivers to this location, our best advice to you is don't take the load.

Overnight street parking was fine despite the no stopping signs. Check-in starts sometime before 4:30am. Park in the staging area first, then walk to the guard shack with your pen, drivers license and filled out form. Line took about 30 minutes, then I was called right away and assigned a door. Unloading was slow, seems like one pallet every 30 minutes. Total time with paperwork was 6 hours. There’s a decent restroom in a grey container in front of the doors with numbers starting in the forties.

What you are doing is ILLEGAL! You cannot retain or hold a Drivers License while loading or unloading. Get ready for a lawsuit for violating people's fourth amendment rights! YOU CANNOT HOLD A LICENSE WHILE LOADING OR UNLOADING. THAT IS PERSONAL PROPERTY AND IS GOVERMENT ISSUED. PER FMCSA AND CA LAW. WE HAVE YOU RECORDED SAYING YOU WILL NOT GIVE IT BACK TO THE DRIVERS. THIS IS ILLEGAL. SEND ME AN EMAIL FROM YOU COMPANY ATTOIRNEY ASAP TO DISCUSS THIS ISSUE.

There needs to be the ability to add half stars because Sysco doesn’t even deserve 1 full star. No exaggeration, this has been the single most unprofessional experience I have had as a Commercial Driver. The guard shack employees are extremely slow and have the nerve to be rude. Being a female will not protect you from receiving the same negative energy that you put out. Having to wait in a very short line of less than 10 drivers should not take 90 minutes just to be told “you should already know to stick your hand in the window to grab a form and wait back in line” just to fill out superfluous paperwork that is already on the BOL. Many drivers are new here and have no clue how you operate; there are multiple signs saying to have on a vest wear proper footwear have license ready etc, but none saying to fill out forms. Then they tell you to dock at a door and don’t explain whether we unload ourselves or wait inside the building or our trucks, and fail to mention it will take up to 6hours to be unloaded. 4hrs for 10 pallets in my case. Not to mention they ask for a delivery fee upon checkout knowing I’m with a mega carrier that has a contract. Couldn’t you figure that out from the form you requested? I suppose it’s to catch some dummy that will pay them twice thinking his company will reimburse him. Shady business practices. With all the BS dealt with for a full day’s shift you would think they’d have the courtesy to offer a vending machine. Hope you packed a lunch and a pillow, because you won’t even be able to leave and walk 3 blocks to the nearest fast food spot. My dispatch can never send me here again. If you are an Owner/Op request nearly double from your broker, otherwise it’s truly not worth the headache.

If I could leave negative stars I would one they're rude two they keep you license while u deliver which is illegal, three they give your door to someone while.yiur still waiting on the lumper fee and to get yoru license back but he paperwork is in your truck . Seriously shady .. and will be reported to a few places for unsafe and shady practices .. if they lose your license or give it to someone one else then what ?
