Szara Resto&Bar

It was my first time in Krakow and we did not know where to eat. We found ourselves standing in front of this restaurant and thought to give it a try. We also saw the Michelin star. We sat outside in the heated tent. The waiter was so friendly and attentive. He rexommenddd some dishes and wine. He even explained how we should eat the fish soup. The food was amazing, the wine and the service as well! We can only recommend coming here

Two out of the six dishes we ordered were really good, too bad for the stark contrast between them and to the remaining items from the menu we had - they were either practically bland (not talking about a mild taste, but literally no flavour), too sweet for a starter (practically got served a big portion of dessert), or just 'okay' on their own right, but definitely too steeply priced. The bread we got served for the complimentary butter was also stale. The service was also very underwhelming and aimed for the absolute minimum, but maybe the waitress just had a bad day. Overall, we would had left disappointed even if the restaurant operated at a lower price range, to be honest we're flabbergasted as to how this place managed to be included in the Michelin Guide multiple times, based off on our one time visit at least.

Wow, amazing food. My dish was the rabbit and it has to be one of the best I ever had. The mountain goat cheese was also amazing.

Overall, edible lunch but don't think I'll eat here again. Prices were a little expensive for food that was just okay, nothing special. Flavors didn't blow me away. Customer service was decent. The fish soup was okay. The salmon was edible. The wait was for the mousse was a bit long. Not sure why, but it was tasty. The horse carriages passes every hour gave a whiff of stink. Luckily smell didn't linger and ruin my meal. Not the restaurant's fault, but should be aware if sitting outside.

We stopped here as we weren't sure where to eat and our first choice was fully booked, however, this turned out to be a blessing in disguise. The interior is really nice and the seating is comfortable. I would give 5* but the service was nothing amazing, as it wasn't busy and took about 10 minutes to simply ask for our drinks order and there was no real urgency to serve us, but not the end of the world. The food however was simply sublime. The steak was perfectly cooked to my liking and the sauce was so nice, I would highly recommend this place on the food alone.

We had drinks here only, lots of winter choices. We had a hot vodka and hot chocolate with baileys. Obviously, have to pay for the central location, costs zlty78 for the two drinks.

We were happy to visit this place. This restaurant has amazing food, we ordered rabbit, this meat was very soft and melted in mouth🤤also ordered fish with potatoes and salad cezar - the only thing what I can say - tasty and recommend ☺️

I consider myself a burger snob and have to say if you are a burger fan and want one of the best burgers you will find anywhere you need to go to Krakow Poland and visit Szara Restaurant! Right in old town Krakow with amazing outdoor dining looking at the town square you will find burger bliss. By the way... My wife says the fish soup is to die for. Don't miss this place.
