"'t Ganzenest will forever be associated with Harry Visbeen, who held a MICHELIN star for many years. Today, Erik Tas is writing a new chapter of this beautiful story. He has cultivated the authentic allure of the building and revamped the restaurant with just the right dose of elegance. A glance at the menu reveals that chef Tas is a fan and connoisseur of top-quality produce such as turbot, veal sweetbreads and wagyu. He enhances these ingredients with the perfect garnishes and expertly done sauces with great depth of flavour. Take, for example, the wonderful cream sauce with chanterelles and the rich veal jus that elevates a fillet of turbot to new heights. He showcases strawberries, for instance, in a beautifully airy soufflé, but also subtly macerated with a ball of super creamy vanilla ice cream and in an elaborate creation with a strawberry coulis brightened with a dash of vinegar. Erik Tas is an astute chef who knows how to get the best out of his ingredients, and understands that less is more. The produce is clearly the star of the show here – the enthusiasm with which the waitstaff present the wines and cheeses is infectious." - Michelin Inspector

The most wonderful and enjoyable Christmas dinner we could have wished for. From the very first moment, we felt warmly welcomed by the fire outside with a delicious pumpkin soup — such a beautiful and thoughtful start to the evening. Everything that followed was absolutely perfect, from the beautifully presented dishes to the perfectly matched wines. The atmosphere wasvery nice, the food exquisite, and every detail was clearly prepared with so much care and passion. We were truly impressed and enjoyed every single moment. A heartfelt thank you to the chef and to everyone who worked so hard on Christmas Eve. An unforgettable experience — highly recommended!

What a delightful discovery just a stone's throw from home! How did we not stumble upon this gem sooner? Our dining experience was nothing short of exceptional. The cuisine was both inventive and delicious, offering a delightful journey for the palate. The ambiance though a little bare, exuded elegance with a twist of rustic feel, perfectly complementing the fine dining experience. The service was impeccable, with every waiter and the manager personally engaging with us, sharing insights on each dish and wine selection, as well as the rich history of the restaurant. Overall, it was a truly memorable dining experience that exceeded our expectations. We'll certainly be returning soon to indulge in another culinary adventure.

'T Ganzenest is a one Michelin-starred restaurant offering modern French dishes with a Dutch twist. We had their 5 course menu, the staff is very knowledgeable about both the dishes and their wines. Our sommelier could offer in depth explanations about the food and ingredients as well as the wines: we had both their premium wine pairing and we ordered a bottle from their menu and in both instances we were well informed. The food was really tasty, although it was not incredibly creative or anything, all the decious were well made with high quality ingredients. The interior is quite spacious, so you can enjoy your dinner in an almost private setting. Overall, we really enjoyed our dinner, and we would recommend others to visit as well. I think you definitely get what you paid for in terms of service, food and atmosphere here

We were in this restaurant for the first time. The four of us had a 5 course menu with matching wines. The food was very good and with very surprising flavor combinations and the matching wines were well chosen. The staff is very friendly, cheerful and helpful. The tables are not too close to each other, so we had enough privacy. We will definitely go back here again and we are only sorry that we did not visit this restaurant sooner.

We enjoyed a lot. Fine dining experience where you use all your senses. All the dishes were meticulously elaborated and every single detail fell into place to make from all of them a explosion of flavours in the mouth. Besides, the tableware and plated were absolutely beautiful. The service was good, maybe a little bit slow but we didn’t mind, and explained carefully all the elaboration and ingredientes from all the courses. We had the 5 dishes menu ‘t Ganzenest and I particularly liked the fishes. I recommend this place if you are celebrating something or just if you want to have a nice tasting experience in the Netherlands.

Performance below expectations. Food is fine, beautiful but the combination of ingredients is not creative enough. To be honest, the service is also average. I have tried dozens of Michelin restaurants and this is the only one that charges for sparkling water and extra bread. I don’t know if it’s because I used deal of Restaurantweek. The service is not satisfactory.

As a person with refined and discerning taste, and a deep appreciation for fine food, I must admit that 't Ganzenest is the best Michelin-starred restaurant I have ever visited. I believe it truly deserves two stars. I want to congratulate Chef Erik and our attentive server, Leyla, for providing us with such an extraordinary experience over the course of two hours. I will certainly return to 't Ganzenest, and I strongly recommend that others try this exceptional menu as soon as possible.

Had a nice dinner experience here, with each course carefully prepared. The main course was a veal loin which was cooked to perfect tenderness. For appetizer, I would recommend the oysters.
