Overall good flavors. The staff are very friendly and will work with you on any modifications to your order (within reason). For settings, it’s in a mall so be prepared for food court seating and they can’t control the overall atmosphere. Because it’s in a mall you should expect to pay for parking, unless you’re within walking distance. There’s plenty of parking, it’s just paid parking. The selection of crepes is good and there’s a well-balanced use of ingredients. The only downside is the crepes aren’t made fresh so if that doesn’t bother you then definitely give this place a try. For my first visit, my wife and I went savory and then sweet, without any disappointment. I started off with the BLT and my wife had the smoked salmon. Both were very good so we went in for dessert, which was the mango raspberry (sorry, no pic). Again, this place is worth trying at least once.

I've eaten these crepes five times, and the quality is incredible. The girls make them perfectly. Loving these crepes. My favorite is strawberry with Nutella and extra strawberry 🍓🫶🏼🫶🏼🫶🏼🫶🏼

I stumbled across this cute crepe shop at Ballston quarter and got the Strawberry lemonade and Thai Tea. The service was fast and professional, not to mention the teas tasted deliciously refreshing. I would come again! Highly recommend!

Google
Finding truly gluten free crepes that are good is no easy task, but these are the real deal! They were the perfect thickness, light, and delicately crispy at the edges. The golden color and even texture were spot on, with a hint of buttery flavor. The batter was smooth with no lumps and had a balanced mix of sweetness and saltiness. They were flexible enough to roll without tearing, yet sturdy enough to hold fillings— which they did not skimp on. We tried a chocolate banana (not Nutella) and a BLT. The savory one was perfectly balanced with flavors, and the crepes are large, generous portions. Their house-made chocolate nuggets melt in your mouth. Highly recommend for anyone seeking quality gluten free options. They’re located inside Ballston Quarter in the food court. 10/10.

Google
This place is fantastic! The service is super fast, and they offer a wide variety of options to choose from. You can even personalize your crepe just the way you like it. It’s conveniently located indoors in the food court

This is a hidden gem! I bumped into this amazing place by accident while looking for some donuts inside the Ballston quarter food court, and I’m glad I did! They have an amazing way of making crepes, they work in harmony just like bees! And the quality of food is beyond expectations! Bravo guys! Can’t wait to stop by soon!

Google
Delicious crepes with fresh ingredients and various customization options. If you like Royce's nama chocolates, definitely add their house-made chocolate truffles to your crepe. Also strongly recommend their Vietnamese coconut coffee and Thai iced tea-based drinks, which were not too sweet and tasted just right without any lingering bitter taste. A hidden gem inside Ballston Quarter!

Google
It was sooo good! They close at 9 and my friends and I strolled around close to 9 and they were so kind in taking our orders. I felt so bad hearing after we ordered that they closed but so nice to stay after. Definitely will be back again. Their crepes are so yummy! The matcha chocolate truffle, crème brûlée and raspberry with lychee were our favorites <3

Yelp
This is the most amazing delicious thing I ever tasted: matcha chocolate truffle crepe. Add extra Nutella. You're welcome.

Yelp
The expensive crepes were underwhelming and not made with love. I could tell the batter was bland, even with all the toppings included. The workers were rushing to get the very few orders out. I like how they displayed their crepes, but the flavor and execution was not it. The oreo crepe looked decent on the outside, but the inside was mostly skimped of chocolate sauce and marshmallows. I didn't taste any "oreo custard" as advertised, but the yogurt custard was sour. It definitely isn't the sweet yogurt you get from yogurt shops. It just overpowered the whole crepe and made it unappetizing. The marshmallows were barely toasted too. I just feel like the toppings were all for show at the top, and then basic thereafter. The cream brulee crepe wasn't awful until I tasted the sour mangoes inside. There were probably 4 strands of mango inside the crepe, skinnier than french fries from McDonald's. For $12+, these crepes are not worth getting.

Yelp
I'm obsessed with the lychee and raspberry crepe -- it's the perfect combo of fruity and sweet without being too heavy. My fiancé got the banana and Nutella one and was so happy and content afterward. Definitely a win for both of us! The staff was really accommodating, and I especially appreciated the person at the rose custard station (I think that's what it was?) -- he was super kind and even added extra for me when I asked. That little gesture made my day. It's tucked downstairs with the other restaurants in the Ballston food court area, which actually gives it a cozy, hidden-gem vibe. Kinda cute, honestly. Highly recommend if you're craving something sweet and unique!

Yelp
We are big T-Swirl fans and the ones in NYC were our first introduction tot he crepe franchise. If you like crepes with different sweet or savory bites then this is the place for you. It's on the first floor of a food hall and the venue is small to med size. There are about 3 servers in the back preparing the crepes and you can either digitally order or order in person. They have many crepes from mixed berry and cream, crème Brûlée, matcha, strawberry and Nutella and much much more. We have had all three of four of these both in NYC and now at this location and the crème brûlée was amazing in the VA location. Hot, sweet, soft and about 4 inches tall for the mini. You MUST get it if you like anything crème brûlée. All three fruit used was cut uniquely to fit into the crepe. The savory ones are just as great we had the shrimp tempura and it was also hot and crunchy. The avocado and the spinach were fresh "which is always important to us" and the crepes were very tasty and sweet. The shrimp was crispy and the crepe all about 6 inches. The crepes are wrapped tightly but not to tight that you can't taste all of the flavors. The crepes were light golden and a little brown on the edges. This place is awesome and we will be coming back again.

Yelp
I feel like this review really just comes down to your preference and taste for desserts and I'm pretty specific about my desserts. If you just like sweet chocolate, you'll like it. It's wasn't bad just didn't meet expectations. The Strawberry Nutella crêpe was thin around the edges and not particularly warm. I got it to-go, but all I did was walk for 5 mins before eating. The thin edges meant it was crunchy to start and I like a chewy crêpe consistency. But as I ate more it didn't get any chewier. For a swatch of Nutella and two sliced strawberries I didn't expect it to come up to $12. So I would say it's pricey as well, but I was expecting quality. I think I was the only one ordering at the time so it came out pretty quickly, and I got it in my plastic to go bag which is like a mini clear umbrella bag. Service is standard when you order through the compute, you don't really interact with them. It's the Ballston mall food hall so ambience is super casual with lots of seating options.

Yelp
Well well well! I live in springfield where good crepe places are hard to come by. & if I'm missing one please feel free to let me know of them in my area! I love the crepe spot in fairfax, but it's super annoying to get too with traffic. This one is in ballston mall which is not very convienent if you drive. You have to pay for parking which if you take into consideration makes the food you end up purchasing more expensive...however, if you walk this is a great location. Anywho, I wish there was a crepe location like this near me cause I think I'd be their best customer! Haha. They have a touch screen to order and you can customize it pretty well. I love that they have mini versions cause as much as i love sweets I can't eat a whole one if it's super loaded. I got the lychee matcha mini crepe! Absolutely delish!!! And the ingredients tastes so fresh! I love it. They have savory ones as well for lunch which I should have gotten instead, but sweetooth was kicking in. I WILL FOR SURE BE BACK AND TRY THE ENTIRE MENU! please don't leave! Open one near me!!! Lacking one star cause I can't stand the parking situation!

Yelp
The service was horrible. It was noon when I ordered but didn't get the crepe till after 1. There was one crepier working and he was filling the to go orders. Several of us who ordered in person ended up waiting at least 45 minutes for the crepe. Crepe was good though but service was bad. If you order need to do it online. In person service is sub par.

Yelp
My friend and I were looking for some post-dinner dessert and found this place in the ballston quarter food court. We ordered on the tablet, and the food came out in about 10 min. We got the banana and strawberry/banana sweet crepes, and both came with a good amount of filling! They're quite large and my friend finished the entire thing. Would recommend for a sweet treat in ballston.

Yelp
Food: Strawberry Banana Nutella Crepe - 4/5 Thai Tea - 5/5 Coconut Coffee - 1/5 Service - 5/5 Ambiance - 5/5 My friend and I have been wanting to try T-Swirl for so long. I was soooo excited as we watched the cashier make our order

Yelp
Not a bad place for some crepes. Located in the ballston quarter. Got the strawberry banana one, it was an extra 2 bucks to add Nutella, total 13.70 which is pretty expensive. You order at the kiosk. Wait time was a bit long, and I requested a bag in the kiosk since I was getting it to go and didn't receive it. Not a big deal, but it's alright.

Yelp
Was super excited to try the crepe brûlée here after seeing them in Japanese vlogs for so long! Crepe brûlée with strawberries did not disappoint! It's located inside the Ballston Quarter mall in the basement food hall. Very easy to find once you take the escalators down since the space is large and open. Ordering is done through a touchscreen so service interaction is minimal. Oh and bonus points for being gluten free! Can't wait to come back to try their thai iced tea and green tea crepe!

Yelp
I only got a drink here, did not try the crepes but was disappointed. I got the ube coffee and after tip it was around $8 and we finished it in 5 sips. I kid you not. The drink was delicious but packed with so much ice that it was gone in only a few sips. Really disappointing for an overpriced drink, especially since there was only 1 size option. Would recommend less ice or lowering the price!

Yelp
Located in the basement of the Ballston quarter. You order at the counter on a screen. They make gluten free crepes on request. I got the banana Nutella, which was amazing. Some of the flavors are available in a regular or a mini size. Not a lot of interaction with the staff as it is all through the kiosk. They offer Togo bags that are very practical if you have to walk with your crepe!

Yelp
Quality of crepe: 3/5 Size of crepe: 2/5 Convenience/ambiance: 5/5 Service: 3/5 Came here on a weeknight and was so excited to try their gluten-free crepes! I got the strawberry crepe and was quite disappointed - the crepe was sooo tiny and had very little flavor, and the toppings didn't add to it. I finished up the crepe in just a few bites, and it wasn't filling it all. Additionally, it took about 20 minutes to get the crepe, which is pretty slow. One perk - it's at the bottom of Ballston Quarter with other food joints, so a great place to gather with folks.

Yelp
I got the mango raspberries crepe and it was SO good. I also got to try the lychee romantic and it was a hit as well. I love the balance of fruits and chocolate and the portion sizes were large and delicious

Yelp
Very nice eatery, although a bit expensive in my opinion! Nice occasional treat, though. I had the chicken teriyaki crepe, which also had corn and carrots, as well as some greens and other condiments. As a drink, I had the Vietnamese iced-coffee with matcha. It was my first time having an iced coffee with matcha, which made a nice addition in my opinion!

Yelp
Oooooo yall. Came here because I wanted something sweet and this did not disappoint! This mini mango crepe with matcha crepe was so so so good! I would eat 100 times over. I love ordering from the kiosk makes everything quick and you can also add notes. Love that it's near the food court so you have indoor and outdoor seating options which is clutch. The views are worth.

Hazel E.

Yelp
The quality and taste of the crepes are exceptional! The service was beyond our expectations! We will definitely return.

Yelp
Saved us from missing crepe and the crepe we go to in Texas. This crepe is worth trying and note that the way how they made our crepe was hint of crisp on edge and soft in the middle plus all the ingredients throw in there made this crepe so good! Service was fast. The place is not limited to only this dessert but there is more to see and try. The setup is like a food court.
google avatar

Yelp
Service was fairly quick, but there was only one order ahead of me. Ordered the Blueberry Cheesecake crepe. I think it needed a little more blueberry flavor, but the tangy cheese spread and custard inside the crepe was really delicious and paired well with the gelato and crepe. I appreciate that the crepe batter is gluten free too. There were some items sold out and some items "coming soon" that I was interested in, so I hope they are available the next time I'm back!

Yelp
Just opened in the Ballston Quarter Food court. I love crepes! So far they just have the sweet ones but the options are very creative and tasty. I really liked the banana chocolate. It's a little expensive but a nice add to the area since it's unique. The staff was ok but they were definitely overwhelmed with opening weekend.

Yelp
Tswirl crepe is in the underground food court of Ballston Quarter. The area has stands from various restaurants and a common seating area. Tswirl provides crepes ranging from strawberry Nutella to smoked salmon. Each crepe is wrapped into a cone shape and provided in a cardboard cone protector pocket. You can easily make a meal out of one (or two) crepes! Especially the savory crepes are well thought out with the ingredients. I was particularly impressed with the smoked salmon one as slices were cut perfectly thin to fit it into the crepe shape and matched with carrots, spinach, beans and other ingredients which made it crunchy. My only request was that it could have done with a sauce. An evenly spread layer of cream cheese would have done the trick. If you're in for a sweet crepe, I would recommend getting the banana or strawberry with Nutella one and adding custard to it. The crepes were prepared quickly, and they even provide you with a barcode when you finish ordering so you know when to go pick up your food!

Yelp
It was expensive, and just ok. My teenager had a sweet (Nutella & banana) and a savory (smoked salmon) and I had a mini matcha chocolate. They were all served chilled, which was okay for the sweet crepes but weird for the savory. We were missing Obi Lee and are looking for our next favorite crepe place, sad to say we haven't found it yet!
google avatar

Yelp
Obsess with the matcha! I would come here everyday if I didn't live in Alexandria. I wish they would open a new location in Annandale because this would be a total hit!!! I recommend the matcha, creme Brulee or just the strawberry & banana still 10/10

Yelp
Tswirl is just amazing it's been 5 years since the last time I had one. I got my husband to try the banana chocolate crape and he loved it . We drove an hour just to get some my strawberry matcha one and it's as amazing as I remember

Josh B.

Yelp
This may have been the worst crepe of all time. I got the strawberry Nutella crepe it was very crunchy and not warm. It was like a cracker crepe. I was yearning for a warm soft crepe and this just did not hit the spot. Staff were polite and friendly though !
