"Ta' Mena Estate is a family-run farm in the Marsalforn Valley, Gozo, known for its wide range of produce including oranges, pomegranates, figs, tomatoes, and honey. It offers agritourism experiences, allowing visitors to learn about traditional methods and purchase artisanal products." - Le Guide MICHELIN

"The island of Gozo is not to be outdone, even if its wine production comes across as more artisanal. It is worth mentioning the interesting work of the Ta Mena estate, where they age some of their wines in terracotta jars, as was the practice in Ancient times." - Le Guide MICHELIN

The estate is a bit different from the winery. As of 8/31/24, the estate is undergoing renovation. However, there is a small shack by the estate entrance where you can try the wines made here along with a lot of tomatoes, paste, and other items. The hostess was very nice and let you try the wines at your own pace.

I go past here quite often but hadn't gone in before, which I regret now. The little shop is nicely laid out with lovely products at reasonable prices. Picked up wine as a gift + some mulled wine for myself which is amazing! Super-smooth, bit of a kick from the brandy and not overly sweet. I'll definitely be back here often for more (and not just wine 😁)

Shop doesn't look like much from the steat but inside there is an amazing variety of homemade products. Generous tasting as well. We really enjoyed one of the white wines (Juel, Vermentino) and the Limoncello . The jam an salami we will try at home.

Even though the wineyard is being renovated and everything happens in a small shop, the food was great (we loved the tomato paste and olive oil) and the tasting of their wines is free. Also the hostess is an interesting and funny woman that made the whole experience really enjoyable. High value products for the price. Highly recommended

Such a charming little store with fresh local produce, preserves, liqueur, wine, cheeses and more. Definitely go here if you’re around the area - the lady in the shop is so lovely and offered us a taste of her beautiful wines and fruit liqueurs, which were so unique and flavoursome. Go here while visiting Gozo!

This may be the most hidden of Gozo’s many gems. An incomparable experience of authentic Gozitan wine, food, history, and culture was had here. My wife and I were offered immeasurable hospitality and generosity as we were treated to Ħobż biż-żejt (bread with sweet tomato paste and olive oil), a wide variety of locally-produced red and white wine, Gozitan cheese, and gluten free sweets (my wife is celiac). As lovers of wine, we can say that this multi-generational family of grape-growers and wine-makers is producing some of the finest wine at the best prices on Gozo. Of equal quality is their homemade tomato pastes, jellies and jams, and sweet treats. Do not pass by their unassuming store front—there is excellence within.

We came on a Saturday afternoon, visited the farm and listened to Joseph share about the family history and experiences of running the Ta Mena Estate. It's evident that it's a hard business to run, especially with the high standards of organic production that they have. The wines and antipasti were delicious, especially the Rosé and the Gabillott (red) wines as well as the tomato paste! All around a great experience and excellent value for money!

Best farm where I have ever been. I had a great experience with visiting them! Quality products hand picked with love! Lady that was selling the products was really nice and helped us pick the best products. Great wines, figgs, tomatoes. Thank you for everything
