Celebrating my 30th birthday at TAAN was nothing short of magical. From the moment my boyfriend and I stepped into the restaurant, we were enveloped in warm Thai hospitality and an atmosphere that struck the perfect balance between refined and relaxed. We chose the 9-course tasting menu, and every dish felt like a love letter to Thailand — both familiar and completely new. The chef’s focus on locally and responsibly sourced ingredients shone through in every bite. Each course told a story about regional flavors, seasonal produce, and the people behind the ingredients. Highlights included a stunning reinterpretation of classic Thai flavors — bold, balanced, and beautifully presented. The pacing of the meal was flawless, with just enough time to savor each course before being surprised by the next. The wine (and Thai-inspired cocktail) pairings elevated the entire experience without ever overshadowing the food. What impressed me most was how TAAN manages to feel both deeply authentic and incredibly innovative. It’s fine dining, yes, but it’s also heartfelt — you can taste the respect for local farmers, for Thai culinary traditions, and for sustainability in every dish. The staff made my birthday feel truly special, even adding a thoughtful personal touch to the dessert course. I left feeling celebrated, inspired, and deeply grateful for such a memorable evening. We’ve had dinner for our anniversary tonight at TAAN and has been one of the best we’ve had in a long time. Sasi our waitress was amazing and the whole team was really nice to us and made us enjoy our night. We had the 13 course menu and each of them was really balanced and rich in flavour. We will definitely come back when we’re in Bangkok. Thanks a lot 🤍🫶🏾

“We celebrated my daughter’s birthday at Taan and enjoyed their exquisite 9-course menu. Taan is truly one of the best fine dining restaurants in Bangkok, with a warm atmosphere, exceptional service, and outstandingly delicious dishes. It was a memorable experience we will always cherish.

We loved the restaurant: nice setting (decoration was rather bland, but the main star was the lovely views), great service and lovely food. The only reason I gave it only 4 stars is because although the first 6 courses were truly amazing (we were really blown away) sadly the mains and the desserts were rather a disappointment, as they didn’t live to the high expectations set by the previous dishes. So we couldn’t help but feel a bit short changed, and wish the meal had stopped at dish number 6.

We celebrated my birthday by going to dinner at Taan It was amazing from the moment we got there! The food was so good, we got to hear the stories behind every dish, the staff was so welcoming and nice and even sang happy birthday to me 🤭 Cocktails were absolutely incredible… By the way, when they say spicy they mean it. We definitely recommend and wish to come back!

Amazing food with very nice view. Food was very aromatic with different use of herbs, definitely something we want to try in Thailand. The waitress explained each dish and its origin very well. My only suggestion was that one of the junior waitress (who introduced us the water and drinks trolley) may need some training for working in a ‘fine-dining restaurant’. She seems a bit forceful without reading what their customers really want. The other lady who served us the dishes was very good.

Having heard much about this restaurant and seeing it listed in the Michelin Guide for several consecutive years, I came in with high expectations. Unfortunately, I found the experience a bit overrated. Ordered the 9 course set. While the presentation and creativity of the dishes were certainly impressive, the flavors didn’t quite come together. The ingredients seemed thoughtfully chosen, but the combinations often felt forced or unbalanced, leaving the taste underwhelming despite the artistic effort. That said, the service was attentive throughout the evening, and the atmosphere and city view was nice. Overall, it’s a place that excels in concept and experience, but for me, the execution on flavor didn’t match the accolades. Worth a try if you’re curious, but perhaps not the culinary revelation it’s made out to be.

Stunning ambience with a million-dollar view of the Bangkok skyline and excellent service from K. Suriya and team. The appetizers stood out, but the rest of the main course menu was average in flavor. Desserts were decent — the burnt cheesecake with sorbet was a highlight, though not as surprising as hoped.
