Service was friendly and attentive, but the food was unfortunately disappointing.
The lunch menu began with fresh bread and butter, which was a highlight—simple but delicious. However, things quickly went downhill. Each dish was heavily salted, starting with the olives, which overwhelmed the palate. My main course, a steak, was overcooked to the point of being inedible; I ended up cutting off half of it just to find some chewable meat.
The sides, including the French fries, sautéed greens, and rice, were also overly salted, making it impossible to appreciate any other seasoning or subtlety. By the end of the meal, my mouth felt parched from the salt overload. The dessert—ice cream—was refreshing and enjoyable, but it wasn’t enough to redeem the meal.
The staff came and asked me about the dish and did not do any other follow-up other than acknowledging the food was bad and apologizing. There were no discounts given even after half of the steak was thrown away. I’m left puzzled by the Michelin recommendation. The excessive salt and poor preparation didn’t meet the high standards I expected, and overall, the meal felt unbalanced.
