The food here was fantastic, heads above most of the tapas bars in the center that are more geared on churning tourist traffic.
Everything we ordered exceeded expectations with unique twists and fresh ingredients.
For two people we ordered bravas, espencat (tasty with a crispy layer), puntilla (perfectly fried mini squid), ensaladilla marinera (usually don’t like but this was good), figatell foie (very interesting), tarta abuela (yum) and a bottle of local Bobal. It was a lot of food and we definitely left stuffed and happy for around 60€. The herbal liquor at the end was also lovely.
It took us a couple tries to snag a table without a reservation early in the night so definitely try to reserve as it filled up fast.
