"From 2011 to 2021, chef-owner Lynn Pritchard gained a celebrity-like following at the Clive location of Table 128, before relocating in 2024 to a new downtown spot, where the restaurant enjoys easy access to nearby office buildings, bike paths, and breweries. Regulars of the old location will still find some favorite items, including the beloved mini chocolate chip cookies and Pritchard’s signature burger. There are also plenty of new options, like chicken arancini with elote salsa and a hearty warm salad of farro, caramelized carrots, and pickled vegetables. Check out the patio and the robust wine list curated by general manager Garrett Dotsch." - Karla Walsh

"Formerly located in the Western suburb of Clive, Table 128 has been transplanted. As of its reopening in May 2024, it’s thriving downtown. Chef-owner Lynn Pritchard is famous for his so-good-we-could-swim-in-them soups, a Brussels sprouts salad that has converted countless picky eaters, and the soft, buttery mini sea salt-chocolate cookies that are delivered warm at the end of every meal. Chef de cuisine Jacob Demars, general manager Garrett Dotsch, and bar manager Jake Humburg have joined the band, and alongside Pritchard, the leadership team has crafted thoughtful lunch and dinner menus that will delight everyone from the adventurous eaters to the meat and potatoes crowd. “Table 128 has the most excellent Caesar salad,” Booz says, noting that she hasn’t stopped thinking about it since she first tried it several weeks ago. Wash down your salad and entrée (get the risotto carbonara) with a glass from Dotsch’s impressive wine list or one of Humburg’s innovative cocktails or non-alcoholic drinks." - Karla Walsh Karla Walsh Karla Walsh is a freelance writer based in Des Moines, Iowa. Have been a veteran of Table 128 from the beginning- I was so excited to drive from NE again just for another experience. Atmosphere was inviting and just as decadent as the food. Details hand-picked by chef at every glance of the eye. Service was friendly, educated, and personable. Drinks were perfectly balanced- squash mocktail took my breath away and the wine list was curated with care and thoughtfulness. Recommendations were subtle and thoughtful but led us to the perfect dining experience. I got the infamous Brussels sprouts salad- avid fan- can’t believe it’s even better than the last time I had it. Cheese soufflée had the perfect layers of flavor, Lynn’s burger was expertly cooked and tasting profile was beyond the typical beef sandwich. The tart was velvety, crunchy, salty and sweet. Don’t miss out on the maple cream ;) and those damn cookies. They get me every time. You haven’t truly smiled till you’ve eaten one of those. All in all- I will be waiting with bated breath till my husband I can go again.

My wife and I recently had an incredible dining experience at Table 128. I enjoyed one of the best fish entrées I've ever had—the swordfish was truly exceptional. Garrett, who manages the restaurant, greeted us warmly at the front door and checked in with us multiple times throughout the evening to ensure we were having a great experience. He even paired a couple of outstanding wines with our dinner, adding a special touch to our meal. The atmosphere at Table 128 is calm and inviting, and the service was top-notch. The food was delicious, and the cocktails were amazing. I highly recommend this new gem in East Village. Garrett has managed some of our other favorite restaurants in the past, and he and his team do a fantastic job here as well. Five stars!

Google
The staff at Table 128 went out of their way to help us celebrate our anniversary! Wonderful service, and never once felt a lull in our evening there. Food was perfectly portioned and delicious… would recommend it to anyone looking for a new restaurant to try on their next date night.

Dining at Table 128 is always filled with superb food and great service! We are fairly frequent diners and look forward to a fine dining experience in a modern, clean, well lit, wonderful ambiance restaurant! Chef Lynn comes up with very creative menu choices and a welcoming vibe! Highly recommend Table 128 for a memorable meal!

Let me start by saying the new place is nice. But there were issues🤷🏼‍♀️ A few kinks The pozole was very good. The duck and white bean dish was amazing. So good. Homerun. But the lamb shank and risotto was bland/under seasoned. The risotto was not al dente and I actually had to spit out some of it because it was so hard, so I'd avoid that dish. My only other suggestion is to bring a jacket, it was freezing in the restaurant.(December) Still a lovely evening

Google
New Table 128 is incredibly underwhelming. Menu is a lot different than the old one because they want to differentiate it. If that is the case, why would you use the same restaurant name? It's a limited menu (7 entrees) and they were out of 2 or 3 of the options. They were out of ketchup to go with the french fries. They do their own "homemade" ketchup. Ok, if you're out send someone to get a couple bottles of Heinz. The owner must be a marketing genius because his restaurants are in the news everytime a new article comes out about restaurants in DSM.

Google
We had a lovely time there. The chicken and the ricotta appetizers were stellar. The zodiac cocktail was yummy floral. The bouillabaisse was wonderful, swordfish was seasoned well, shrimp were huge. The sweet potato curry was ok. The quinoa was cold fyi. The beef tenderloin was perfection. The salmon itself was delicious but the couscous served with it was awful. Cold, flavorless and strange. I highly suggest you order a salad and add the salmon to it. Over all a lovely time but some disappointments on the entree.

Jeff Carstens

Google
I had the seafood platter and it was fantastic! The wine list is great. Garret gave us great suggestions. The Barbera was so good. It was light. My wife had the sword fish. Very meaty dense fish, but the flavor was incredible! Service was spectacular. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Yelp
We were very excited to try this restaurant for my birthday. We made reservations online from their website and when asked if we were celebrating a special occasion, we indicated a birthday. The reservation was confirmed multiple times via email and text. We arrived at 5 pm, the earliest time for dinner because we had show reservations at 7 pm. We were the only ones there until about 6 pm when the restaurant became much more occupied. The food was mostly very good with both an eclectic and more traditional selection of items. There wasn't consistency in labeling items as vegetarian, vegan, etc. so I asked for clarification on some items. Hubby had the lamb stew (soup of the day) followed by the Lamb Shank with risotto. He enjoyed both. I went with a salad/appetizer combo, starting with the beet salad with caraway mousse, Granny Smith apples, and pistachios. The apples were a nice contrast to the beets but I really couldn't detect a caraway flavor to the mousse. I followed this with the cheese soufflé which was piping hot and flavorful. For dessert, hubby had the crème brûlée which was excellent and I went with the chocolate caramel tart which was a challenge to eat! It was so dense that even with a fork and knife, it was nearly impossible to break off chunks. Once I could do so, it was delicious! There was no way I could saw through the crust, however! The ambiance was pleasant with jazz playing in the background and the decor was festive for the holidays. Large windows but the view we had was of the Holiday Inn and a cell tower! I mentioned earlier that we indicated on the reservation form that we were celebrating a birthday and my husband mentioned it to our server as well, but there was no acknowledgment of my birthday (so why bother asking on the reservation form)? Our server was friendly but never introduced himself by name that we could recall. Once the restaurant became more crowded, he became busier and we became nervous that we would not make it to our show on time (we did). Based on what we had heard about this place, we had high expectations but left feeling a bit underwhelmed.

Yelp
Wow. Didn't realize this gem existed (shame on me). Amazing tasting course offered. Steak tartare that was as good as any I've had in NY, Bos, or Chi. The scallops were perfectly cooked. Lightly brown on the ends. Cooked throughout, but not over done. Desert was an amazing tart with salt carmel ice cream. 5 stars for the lot! The mixed drink offering was unique and very well excited and the beer list (I'm a good German kid) varied and with an item for any taste. The is one of the best executed dining experiences at a less than tippy top price. Visit it now, before everyone else catches on and the prices rise to an appropriate level for the food and service!!

Gaz H.

Yelp
A beacon of goodness with flashes of greatness from this kitchen in kinda the middle of nowhere rando box building. Staff makes up in character what the space lacks. French fries are brilliant.

Yelp
New location...same great food and service from 3 years ago, with a slightly more contemporary vibe. This may be one of the first reviews on here since they've opened at this downtown location. We had a reservation and were immediately greeted at the door and shown to our table. We ordered drinks and looked over the menu. Our server Kurtis was playful and fun! He started off by asking us what we had done today...and the conversation evolved from there. We did get around to talking about the menu, but we didn't rush to that. We got the beet appetizer to share. What an imaginative and tasty start to the meal. My wife got the Salmon - a blast of flavor with flaky, gorgeous salmon. I was going to order the hamburger, but they were out of that entree for the evening, so I shifted gears to the Risotto Carbanara. It was delightful! Delicious risotto with the faint tang and salty flavor of prosciutto, and a creamy and tender risotto. The diners near us got the pork chops and they looked delightful. Others close to us got a peanut butter chocolate explosion for dessert that also looked decadent. We devoured our complimentary chocolate chip cookies before I thought to take a picture, but suffice it to say they were DELICIOUS. Loved having them on the west side of town closer to our home, but this is a great addition to the downtown scene. All the employees greeted us and seemed genuinely happy to have us there. The bar looked like a fun option, and there is indoor and outdoor (with umbrellas) dining. Glad to have Table 128 back as a finer dining option!!

Alex T.

Yelp
Very elegant plating and a lot of unique options to choose from. Had a lot of things for dinner and loved them all!

Eric L.

Yelp
Do not dine here! Food is horrible and overpriced. Drinks are watered down. Service is just as bad. Owner says he doesn't want the handicapped to eat here either. He dislikes wheels rolling on the carpet. Find a better establishment in downtown Des Moines that appreciates their patrons.

Brent S.

Yelp
Food was good not great. Steak was chewy and over cooked.. swordfish was too salty Good ambience

Zoe M.

Yelp
This was an experience. Each and every plate was obviously curated and prepared with the utmost consideration. Not only was every flavor profile on point, the plating was thoughtful and artistic. Service was knowledgeable, kind, and smooth. Wish there were something of this caliber closer to me. Bravoooooo!

Keri A.

Yelp
The swordfish was amazing, one of the best seafood dishes I've had in Des Moines. Our waitress was friendly and knowledgeable.

Cory R.

Yelp
Perfect place for a date night! Intimate and classy setting with a comfortable vibe. We were seated right away and drinks were brought out quickly. We had a glass of Rose and Riesling. Cape Town cocktail had great flavor but a little too strong. The cheeseboard and warm brussels sprouts were amazing. Beef short ribs were tender and flavorful. The heirloom chicken was perfect. Sauces paired with the meats were unique and presented well. For dessert we had almond shortbread, rosemary ice cream, and the best banana bread I've ever tried! Great service and food!

Bob P.

Yelp
In Des Moines for business and wow the Yelp reviews did not disappoint again!!! Table 28 was AWESOME. Got here at 6:30 on a Wednesday. Got seated as one right away, it was half full at 6:30 but by 7:15 it was full. I had the grilled octopus with potato and onion appetizer - insane. It was brought out by the chef, which was a really nice touch. The wine selection was great - I had a Pinot from Washington. The strawberry salad was great with the thickest balsamic vinegar I have ever seen. The truffle fries and house made ketchup.......well just that...great. (I have a thing for homemade ketchup) I ate 2 appetizers and 1 small salad (yes, that is a small salad in the photo). The entrees looked great (the chicken in potato nest with basil foam caught my eye) but I wasn't that hungry and like a variety. Entree prices were decent, but not cheap ~$24-$28. My meal with a $12 glass of wine was just under $40. Highly recommend and worth an Uber from wherever you are in Des Moines.

Paul S.

Yelp
My wife and I had a wonderful evening here last week. This place was super busy for a Monday night. It took us a bit by surprise. The food was quite good. The donuts as an appetizer were a huge hit for both of us. The warm Brussels were a pleasant surprise and the poached egg on top made the dish for us. We went the burger route this time in and the flavors just explode in your mouth. Stop in and give this little gem a shot.

Oded S.

Yelp
Wow, Nice atmosphere, good happy hour and great dinner . Fish, lamb was perfectly cooked First time in Des Moines most likely I'll be back!

Jim S.

Yelp
I took my wife here for Valentine's Day. The food is a major reason to go and the service was too too My wife got the chef's menu with grilled octopus, Chechen and desert. The best. I got the cheese plate, beef Medallion and squash salad. Great flavor and service. See the photos. The owners are chef and wife. The manager is polished and a pro. Try it for a great dinner.

Seth R.

Yelp
One of my favorite lunch date spots with my mom. Service is always excellent, atmosphere is rustic and intimate. I wish I could write some eloquent thing about one meal, but honestly it's all so good, follow your heart to something and it will be good. This is what proper execution looks like.

Megan S.

Yelp
Went here because they had a few Wine Spectator awards. The bottle list is excellent but the by the glass program a little short. They did offer a Rosé flight that had nice wines on it, it wasn't your typical what can we get rid of flight. I had the octopus and it was fantastic. The plating great and flavors spot on. The staff was friendly and the decor simple and nice. They have regular tastings that would be cool to attend if I lived in the area. Would for sure go back if visiting Des Moines.

Mike Z.

Yelp
This is a great date night spot. They have an impeccable wine selection. The menu can shift a bit and it can be a bit limited. Everything offered is done quite well. There aren't bad choices available. The service is highly attentive and casually laid back at the same time. It isn't affordable for a regular group outing, but that's not what I'd recommend for it anyway.

Kevin M.

Yelp
Came here based on great Yelp ratings and it being within walking distance to my office and hotel. I would never have found this place but for Yelp because it is located in a large complex of buildings off University. This place should be a destination just for the Brussels Sprouts. Wow. I need to dissect what I ate: a small poached egg atop a myriad of other stuff - thick and large Parmesan cheese flakes, bacon, some kind of nut. OMG, incredible. It is a perfect medley of flavors and textures. This is hands down the best Brussels Sprouts I have had. I will be back just for that. I also chose this based on the trout on the Yelp menu. When I told the waitress, Beth, that I did not need to see the menu because I already saw it on Yelp and knew what I wanted, she warned me the menu changes. D'oh. No trout. She instead suggested I get a fish I had never heard of, the pan roasted Barramundi, which I looked up is an Asian Sea Bass, but packed with high omega-3s. $28 vs $14 for the trout ... So what arrived was a giant saucer plate with one of the most artistic food displays I have seen, with two pieces of what looked like ordinary baked cod - just kidding. Okay, so the fish itself initially looked disappointing, but it was still very good ... maybe not super flavorful by itself, but the mixture of sauces, incredible cooked spinach and mashed potatoes and vegetables, it was superb. The fish by itself, I would give a three, but in combination, it pops, a five. I would think there are more flavorful fish types, but what do I know? Honestly, I would order it again. And again. I also went here knowing that this is a wine place. I am a snobby specialty brew dude. See my other posts. I was not at all surprised the drink menu is all wine and hard liquor. Beth surprised me by stating they in fact have three local Iowa beers on tap, and a fourth in a can from Big Grove Brewery in Iowa City, which IMO, is one of the best on the planet. However, there were no IPAs. The only one on tap that sounded great, a quad Belgium, was in fact out. I could hear a discussion at the bar about how two of the three taps could be out. The only one on tap was Iowa Nice by Lake Time Brewery, which per the UNTAPPD app, is a very light lager, but still highly rated. Again, I am picky. I still give them five stars for the attempt at a local Iowan menu, and having something for all those poor dudes who must get dragged here by their wine drinking dates. I know my wife and her friends all complain how the breweries do not have wine. I was seated immediately around 5:30 at a small table for two. Every table has a bottle of water already there. Cloth knapkin. Dim lighting. Noise not too loud. I can see coming here on date night. The crowd grew over time. Beth was awesome. Perfect touch - not bugging me. She also really knew her beer - city of origin even. One of my other Yelp reviews about a fancy restaurant in Minnesota I gripe about a waiter who only knew about wine and zero about the beer they sold. Unacceptable. Beth knows her stuff. And she even gave me a complimentary small glass of a stout for the inconvenience of the tap being out. Super classy. I really appreciate the extra touch. Food came out fast. I will be back.

Sammy M.

Yelp
This place has always been a favorite and will continue to be a favorite. The drink menu is always updated with seasonal cocktails that aren't overly sweet like you would find most other places. The menu is smaller but the options are always good! My friend got the bison burger with fries and I ordered the salad with roasted beets and added salmon. Both were amazing and cooked to order! They always finish the meal with salted chocolate chip cookies. They used to have a stack of them by the door and I admit to taking more than my share because they are THAT good! Now they come out with tiny, bite size cookies that are still good, but definitely makes you want more. The space is somewhat small but comfortable. The service is always great and I would always choose to come back if I'm nearby!

Charlsey G.

Yelp
Such a wonderful lunch!! To begin with, there aren't many places that have many vegans options in Des Moines. Table 128 had many items and not just salads!! I ordered the lunch soup and salad combo, which was a creamy mushroom soup and I chose the Brussels sprouts salad to go with it. The soup was DELICIOUS and with how much that I love soup I have become picky and this was just fantastic! The Brussels salad was very good, but ordered without pancetta to make it vegetarian. The vegan items we ordered were the squash salad, beet salad, and lentil tacos. The squash salad is a perfect fall salad, featuring butternut squash and pickled summer squash, with pumpkin seeds for a nice crunch. The beet salad, originally not vegan, but we asked for no cheese, was so yummy!! The salad had roasted yellow beets that were cooked perfectly. The lentil tacos were very flavorful and we all loved the pickled red cabbage on them! Soo they have a great menu, fantastic food, and to top it off excellent customer service. Our waitress' name was Melanie and she was very knowledgeable about the menu and very very sweet! So thank you Melanie for a great lunch experience and Table 128 for having such delicious food!

Leah B.

Yelp
Wonderful little lunch spot! Sat out on the patio and enjoyed the weather. Waitress was attentive, knowledgeable, and pleasant. I ordered the Beet salad with shrimp.

Abhishek M.

Yelp
This is not a review for my dining experience but rather the fact that they were shut for a private event! I was visiting the DM area and staying at a hotel down the street. Thanks to fellow Yelpers, I decided to come to Table 128 and after a good workout, I also planned my meal and cocktails. Now I am starving and sitting in my rental car writing this review and trying to figure out what will best replace the Ahi Tuna salad and Sweet Pea veggie burger with fries that I am craving desperately!! It's unfortunate that small restaurants take the liberty to shut down completely and their website didn't reflect it either!!! 1 star for that!

Joy D.

Yelp
During COVID, this small locale is taking the best precautions and the full sized plexiglass between tables is fantastic because it gives patrons the open feel of the restaurant, yet shows that safety is clearly important! Their ever-changing menus never disappoint! This is one of very few places I know of that can make vegan dishes spectacular, rather than bland afterthoughts.

Kyli W.

Yelp
Everything about this meal and restaurant was AMAZING! Our server was friendly, helpful, and always smiling. Our meal was delicious! Curried chicken salsa and the soup of the day (bacon sweet potato) for me - I could not be more pleased it was so delicious and the flavors were very complex and well developed. Salmon for the hubs - which was cooked perfectly and just so amazing! We ordered a lemon tart for desert which was so tangy and amazing not to mention the rosemary ice cream it came with! So delicious. PS do yourself a favor and order the lavender lemonaid - then thank me later!

Abby K.

Yelp
Table 128 is a delightful Des Moines gem. Who woulda thought a little restaurant in Des Moines could have such fantastic food AND an apron with Julia Child's signature on the wall? (Look for it! It's pretty amazing to see, especially for a big fan of hers) The food at Bistro 128 is always fantastic. I've been three times, all for lunch. The portions have been generous, the food has been fresh and innovative and I have left completely satisfied and excited to come back again! The entrees have changed with the seasons, but Bistro 128 seems to pull from what's fresh and in season. One thing that doesn't leave the menu seems to be their rosemary fries. My goodness they sure are good! Be sure to try them. I also had the quiche one day for lunch and it was delightfully prepared. The service is impeccable as well. The waitstaff is attentive, but not overbearing and I have always seen the chef floating around as well, which is great to see! Finally, they end your meal by bribing a little cookie along with your check. It is such a sweet way to end your experience at 128. And DAMN those little cookies are good! I will absolutely be back to have more of this fantastic farm to table food and once you try it, I'm confident you will be hooked too!

Kirsten H.

Yelp
On a 30 hour drive from the East Coast to Denver in a moving truck, I had relegated myself to the fact that I was likely not going to be eating great meals on the road. I could not have been more wrong. I decided to turn off Route 80 on University Dr. in Des Moines and less than a mile down the road came across Table 128. I quickly Yelped it and saw it had gotten great reviews, so I parked my mammoth vehicle and my dad and I went it. We were incredibly impressed by everything from the food to the service. We sat at the bar as all the tables were taken, and our waitress quickly filled up our water glasses. I ordered the warm brussels sprout salad and added chicken, and it was DELICIOUS. There were tons of brussels rather than just mixed greens with a few shaved brussels sprouts on top, which I loved. The chicken was perfectly roasted as well. Our sweet waitress even sent us on our way with a box of freshly made sea salt chocolate chip mini cookies, which was such an awesome surprise. I would happily go very far out of my way to eat here and will make it the first stop on my agenda if I'm ever in Des Moines again!

Helena H.

Yelp
Wanted to sit on patio but no server. Salads were delicious and fresh, my husband's pasta was perfect al dente, and my Margarita Pizza was tasty with a perfect crust. So good!

Dawn H.

Yelp
We purchased their thanksgiving meal and was appreciative that they divided it in half so I could deliver to a family member. I know preparing for so many carry outs is a challenge. Most of the meal was very good, the Turkey breast and most sides. However, the dinner rolls were gooey, had not raised or baked, the green beans were completely raw, not just a bit crunchy. I'm just very disappointed in the response I received when I brought it to their attention, basically, sorry it wasn't to your liking. We paid $160 for a meal for 4 people. I am sad to have to share this experience.

Stephanie P.

Yelp
The happy hour is great! The staff are very friendly and the drinks were yummy. I had a delicious rum drink with two kinds of rum. I have to say I really enjoyed it. They also have some good tasting eats on the happy hour menu. We had the lamb meatballs and a pub burger. I think each were at least 1/2 price. The owner came around a few times to ask how we were doing too. If not for happy hour give them a try for dinner... you will be surprised!

Edward J.

Yelp
Pretty good food here. It's not a place to wear a t-shirt. There's no dress code, but just dont look like a bum. Nice ambiance. No TV, nice jazz music playing, not too loud. Subdued lighting. Food is fresh and local. Chefs know what's up. The food was worth it. I didn't drink and I still passed $30 for just me. It's like that but it's real food so suck it up. Good for a date or if you need to impress some clients. Lots of wine and booze if needed.

Stanley M.

Yelp
Service was great, drinks were really good too. The sea bass is was spot on, great choice. If you want to try seafood or just want to branch out, do it here.

Jen S.

Yelp
Holy moly this place is delicious! We had the cheese plate and cauliflower soup to start. The cheeses were unique along side jam and mustard to accent the crostini. Add prosciutto and marcona almonds too. Cauliflower soup, creamy and perfectly garlic. Entree: lamb and veggies - unreal. I had a burger, angus so flavorful. I also had a side beet salad. We are driving home to Minneapolis so no crafty cocktails for us even though we wanted them lol. It's refreshing to go a place that is creative with their food! PS, even the ketchup was good!

Todd M.

Yelp
Wonderful staff, very friendly and enjoyable. Refreshing and unique cocktails. Our server did an outstanding job describing the food and drink options. Opted for the salmon BLT and skirt steak plus a side of their infamous Brussels sprouts. All of it was absolutely outstanding. All Covid precautions and safety measures were in place and executed well. One of the most pleasurable dining experiences we have had during the pandemic.

Wendy M.

Yelp
Sooo good. Fancy. We out did it for our daughters 15th birthday. The salads are good. The wine is good. The dessert is good. Eat here.

Erica C.

Yelp
Loved this place!! The food was yummy and there was a variety of small plates and wines. We went during happy hour and this was also a plus! Definitely coming back!!

Cheyenne C.

Yelp
Recently came here on a business trip with some colleagues. Very nice ambiance and friendly staff. All items on the menu were unique and creative. I tried a wine flight which had fun options and lots of flavor. The other cocktail choices were interesting and different. The cheese board was delicious and the bread paired perfectly with the Brie. The entrees were all very concoctive and not something you'd find everywhere. I chose the burger that had Brie, pickled pear, and onions. Very flavorful and it came with rosemary Parmesan fries with a truffle aioli. If you like unique choices this is definitely a fun place to try! A bit pricey but a good experience.

Alex W.

Yelp
Great spot for a quick business meeting with appetizers and drinks. If you don't get the donuts you might as well just go home. The cheese plate is also amazing. Grab a table in the back if you want a little more privacy. I would recommend a reservation for any dinner, even weekdays as it's a smaller, intimate place.

Kristen F.

Yelp
Enjoyed a late evening dinner with my husband here over the weekend. Great atmosphere for a date night. The service alone deserves 5 stars. Our server was friendly and attentive, but not pushy or bothersome. We had the donuts for an appetizer. Overall they were good, but without the aioli they are really nothing special. We also tried the scallops which were cooked perfectly and the beluga lentils and cauliflower they were served with were wonderful and a bit unexpected. We also tried the rosemary parm fries which were pretty standard - again the aioli makes them. The best thing of the night, in my opinion was the Lynn's burger. I would go back to eat that anytime. They give you a couple samples of there famous salted chocolate chip cookies with their bill which is a nice touch especially if you're too full to order dessert.

Paul C.

Yelp
Very unusual, unique, and frequently changing menu. Haven't had a bad meal here. Building and tables are OK, nothing special, but nice enough to dress up if you wish. Casual vibe

Bradley B.

Yelp
It's hard to know where to begin with a perfect experience. Our server, Melinda, was marvelous and attentive. Every cocktail was balanced, thoughtful, and flavorful. Jake, the bartender and mixologist on staff is so passionate, professional, and precise. He knows his program well and is devoted to his incredible craft. Every course was extraordinary, and I can't begin to scratch the surface of the experience with words alone. The atmosphere was delightful, and most importantly we felt safe. With plexiglass screens and excellent covid precautions, this was the first date night my wife and I could experience without wondering what dangers we could be bringing home to our four month old son. Truly, Table 128 was the best decision we could have made to celebrate my birthday this year. Chef Lynn and Sarah have created a staple of craft cuisine, and the only way you can understand how incredible the experience is would be to make a visit yourself. Do not miss the opportunity to visit your soon-to-be favorite restaurant on the planet.

Yelp
We stopped in a nice Wednesday evening. Wasn't too busy, we were seated right away. I liked the patio out front but we choose inside. They have nice wood tables and chairs. They do a great job helping with the menu and keeping our waters full. Menu is easy to choose from and everything came out great. Taste was good but the portions maybe a bit small for me. I will spend the extra dollar Everytime for rosemary and garlic fries over the original. They are fresh made along with the ketchup if you are in to that kind of thing. Over all good experience for a special occasion.

Yelp
Great ambience, food, and service. They were pretty packed on a Tuesday night. The craft cocktail list looked awesome although I did not try a drink. The mussels were great though the broth could have been bolder. I added salmon to a beet salad and I was cooked to absolute perfection. The complimentary mini salted chocolate chip cookie after dinner was a nice treat. I would definitely come back.

Yelp
Nice little wine bar, but we found it overly priced for what it was. Extremely limited menu & overpriced wine. They did have a few nice desserts that didn't break the bank, but it's not a place we'll return to.

Yelp
Everything about this place is top notch! Creative menu and wine list. Food is always superior quality. The staff are some of the best in the business. Friendly owners that stop by your table to chat. Any item you order will blow you away! My regular go to is the warm brussel sprout salad and my husband loves Lynn's burger. They are doing everything right due to Covid. Pick up a family meal kit to try out at home to help with dinner time ideas. I love supporting local businesses and this one is well worth your visit!

Yelp
Great little spot, delicious inventive plates AND my 3 year old is happy with their plain penne pasta. Love this place!

Yelp
Came with friends Sept of 2016 and experienced a much better meal than the first time around. This time our waiter was great. Had the Beet Salad, Salmon and a Pisco Punch. All were quite good. For the portion of Salmon the price was a bit high. You can also read my first review below. Gosh darn, I wanted my dinner to be great but alas I have mixed reviews. My waitress was adequate but unfriendly. Brought our food, didn't say a word. Never checked on us or asked us if we liked our food. My blood orange mojitos was disappointing, my cheese plate appetizer was fine. My pork chop was cooked nicely but hard to eat with so much fat. The polenta was a disappointment. The two tiny portions of corn on the cob were fantastic (wish there had been more). My cookies and cream dessert was a total let down. With all the great places in town to eat I don't know if I'll ever be back.

Yelp
What a delight. Cheese boards abound at hipster-aspiring joints these days, but this cheese board had some real sophistication to it: homemade pickled veggies and jam were a delight with the intentional cheese options. The Chilean sea bass had a perfect pan-seared crispiness and was topped with--wait for it--a fennel bulb and tomato slaw (!). Good places like this take staple proteins and add a flare that you can't get just anywhere. Service was professional, friendly, but not presumptuous. Everything was thoughtful and intentional. Bravo [hand clap emoji].

Yelp
I came here for lunch on a Wednesday afternoon. The service was within expectation, but the food was good. I ordered the Duck Confit Tacos and I liked it. The flour tortilla appeared to be gently deep-fried and it was a little greasy just holding it, but it was a nice touch. The pickled toppings inside the taco were good, acidity was just right. The only complain is that I wish I had gotten more duck than cheese; the duck-cheese balance seemed a little off. I also ordered the Rosemary and Parmesan Fries. The fries were hand cut fries, nothing too surprising. I could barely taste the rosemary. Parmesan is expected. However, I also tasted some truffle? I wonder if they tossed the fries in truffle oil. I would say this is within expectation. For my beverage, I got the orange mint smash. I could not taste the mint, however, I do love the drink. Very refreshing, summer-y drink! Think about orange juice soda (not the Fanta kind). I would come back again and to be honest with you, I'm looking forward to coming back.
