On a recent business trip to the area, we decided to try Table 8 Dinner after seeing its good reviews, hoping for a satisfying breakfast. We opted for a couple of classic combinations: two eggs over easy with home fries and toast, accompanied by bacon and sausage, and for another order, oatmeal with eggs, toast, and home fries. Overall, the breakfast experience was quite positive. The eggs were cooked to perfection, the bacon and sausage were flavorful, and the toast was well-prepared. The coffee was also a definite highlight – good quality and a perfect start to the day. Coupled with genuinely good prices, Table 8 offers a solid value proposition. The service was another major plus; our server was attentive and efficient, which always makes a dining experience more enjoyable. However, the one significant point of contention was the "home fries." To our surprise, what arrived were essentially cut-up french fries. We've never encountered home fries prepared in this manner, typically expecting them to be diced and pan-fried until crispy. While they were edible, they didn't quite meet the expectation of what "home fries" usually entails. The restaurant itself is quite small, and we noticed it could get crowded very quickly. If you're planning a visit, it would be wise to factor this in and perhaps aim for off-peak hours to avoid a wait. In summary: Table 8 Dinner provides a pleasant breakfast experience with excellent service, good coffee, and reasonable prices. The only area for improvement, in our opinion, lies in the preparation of their home fries. Despite this one quibble, it's a place worth considering for a straightforward and affordable meal.

Table 8 is great! Food is wonderful, the whole restaurant is very family oriented. A take out window too is such a plus. They are so fun and I never hear them complain ever about having to do their job, they love it !! Recommend 10/10 not expensive at all and they take card- a lot of breakfast places are only cash.

I Love this Breakfast & Lunch Restaurant My Favorite Breakfast to order is the Table 8 Spacial & the Food is excellent I have also had Lunch there it is Great too & the Staff are Great I find the prices to be very reasonable if you are looking for a Great Breakfast & Lunch place to Try I would highly recommend giving Table 8 a try located in a Great location in the North End of New Bedford at 1836 Acushnet Ave

Food was lukewarm, if not cold, came quick but after telling them we would be using apple pay we had to wait 40 minutes to pay after finishing our meal, you could probably make yourself a better breakfast at home with ingredients from walmart, which is where i'm pretty damn sure they get theirs.

Have had breakfast to go for the last couple of weekends... this is going to be my new spot for a while! Good food, great prices, exceptional service.

Food is delicious and service is so good. Everyone that works there is so nice and sweet. I really do love eating there whether its take out or dine in they are just so sweet and the food is perfect. The french toast is delicious and the table 8 special will forever be my absolute favorite its so good!!

I always say the smallest cozy places always gives better service than any other. I always come for breakfast whether is take out or dine in the food result are always the same. The egg Benedict are the best in town. The azorean special has everything that could be in a traditional portugués breakfast. Thumbs up to this place and the consistency of products is always the same.

They offer great food and good prices. We ordered eggs, bacon, home fries, and toast. My daughters ordered the pancakes sausages, and Home fries. Each dish was well prepared and cooked perfectly. The waitresses are professional and friendly. I highly recommend this place.

Service is very quick. Coffee is actually hot hot, which is hard to come by at some places. I am picky and hate home fries with skins and these are more like cubed french fries, fried in a fryer. They didn't have much seasoning but a good natural potato taste. Bacon was crispy and delicious. The pancakes were light and crispy on the outside. Only downside is the tiny restaurant. It is very cramped inside and everything including tables and chairs are small. That made the atmosphere a little uncomfortable.

Great breakfast place!!! The hash and eggs bene is phenomenal but the sweet french toast is crazyyyyyy good...they have a huge variety of crepes too!...feel like a kid again dining out!!!!

New to the area and trying to find the best breakfast places. Table 8 is definitely one of them! Prices are low, portions are big. Food was delicious! I had the eggs Benedict and my boyfriend had one of the egg combos. Waitress was great. The only downside is that it's pretty small inside, so I wouldn't recommend it for groups larger than 3-4 people. Will be back for sure!

If I could give this place no stars I would. Walked into what seemed to be a nice small breakfast place turned out to be a disgusting health code violation after another. While we were sitting at the bar top waiting for our food I witnessed the 2 cooks not only use their pants and shirts as hand towel, they were touching their faces and wiping sweat off with their arms while standing at the grill cooking others food. They didn't have gloves on once the entire time we were there. After that we had asked if our food had been started as we'd already been waiting 25 mins. They had not started it. When we said we were all set I tried to pay for my shitty coffee and the waitress did nothing but make the situation worse by being rude. We walked out and will never be back. Don't believe the 4 star rating. This place should be shut down by the health department

I love coming here for breakfast!! I'm a big hollandaise person and it's very tasty here. Always a friendly environment and I've never had a bad meal.

Amazing. Walked into this cozy, clean place this morning very hungry and am leaving very full with leftovers. The food was cooked to perfection and tasted so delicious I was shocked I didn't have to wait in line for a table. The prices are extremely reasonable as well..Probably the best breakfast I've had in a long time. Parking was pretty easy to find too. 5/5, highly recommend based on first impressions. I got the Steak & Cheese breakfast wrap, the cheese was gooey and delicious and the steak was simply perfect without me even saying how I wanted it done.

Excellent food and service. Small, clean, and efficiently run! Prices and food quality can't be beat! I would definitely recommend to anyone wanting an inexpensive breakfast of high quality! Get there before 8am!

I'm from out of town, but I insisted on having breakfast at Table8 two days in a row bc they are phenomenal. They have healthy options on their menu and great prices. Chef is cooking nonstop right in front of you. The waitress has an amazing personality and a superstar on service. I will come back when i'm back in New Bedford. 5+ rating

Nothing special. Average Breakfast spot and small in there. The staff was normal. Its on the Ave. parking is always fun. I went because of the reviews too.

We were looking for a Portuguese breakfast and saw the great reviews on yelp. It was just what we were looking for and the wait staff and cooks were really friendly. We had the Portuguese and Veggie omelets which were both delicious!

I had the Azorean, which came with eggs, linguica, home fries, toast and a sweet bread french toast. Very good. It is a little small in there, but tables seem to open up quickly. Very clean. Inexpensive. Give it a try.

My absolute favorite! They make such a good breakfast. Me and my boyfriend come here at least one a week. I recommend this place to anyone. The service is amazing. The staff that works there are very nice and friendly. I would tell everyone about this place. Such good food and great service!

Have been looking for a mom and pop diner for breakfast since moving back to the area. Table 8 is just what we have been looking for. It's small and unassuming, but when you can get a table, or seat at the counter it won't disappoint. Food is true diner breakfast, cooked right in front of you. Watching the cook is like someone create art. He is so fast...and good at what he does! Service is good, and the staff is welcoming. If you want a great breakfast without going to a big chain, this is the spot!

this place is what a real breakfast place should be! cozy, clean, friendly and the food is so good i want to do a jean claude van damme split! GO HERE FOR BREAKFAST!
