Desserts with MOLD inside. I bought an 8 dollar éclair here last night, got home, had 2 bites, thought it tasted weird, looked and there’s mold inside!! Disgusting is an understatement. Selling old, spoiled pastries is a health hazard. I tried called all morning and afternoon - no answer. I So I went back there today. When I brought it to their attention, all they did was offer me a refund, as if that somehow erases the fact that they’re serving moldy desserts to customers. No attempt to make things right, no concern for how dangerous this could have been. Just a half-hearted transaction to get me out of their face. Needless to say I’m contacting the health department. A place that can’t even be bothered to check if the food they’re selling is safe should not be in business. If you value your health, do yourself a favor and avoid this place entirely.

Nice little coffee and gelato place, slightly separated from the tourist crowds further up Hanover Street. The gelato is delicious: I had raspberry and Nutella on a cone. Good choice. No seating inside, but there's a bench outside. Cash only. A sign warns you that they don't give out samples, but the sign is a lie.

Bought 2 eclairs there today and brought them home. Bit into them and they were FULL of mold! Straight into the trash. Owner should Venmo me back the money I paid for the moldy eclairs. So disgusting!

What a cozy spot! Loved the pistachio latte and gelato, but I’ll be back to try more of the pastries next time. Only con: it’s cash only

The gelato was extremely smooth and creamy! The limoncello flavor was great, but the passion fruit didn't really taste like passion fruit.

Soooo was hoping for more from this place after reading some hype about in on social media. Nothing like real gelato imo not creamy and not flavorful as I have had in the city. Also is pistachio suppose to be green? Nice storefront but not authentic sorry to say. Nice on the pizelle topper though.

Table Caffe is just your one stop shop for Italian pastries, candies and gelato in the North End of Boston. Very friendly and helpful staff. Stop by and you will not be disappointed!

The gelato tasted amazing!!! My brother-in-law recently visited Italy and said this was very like the gelato he had there. We ordered the key lime pie, lemoncello, peach, and hazelnut. Each flavor was incredible. Super worth stopping at for a treat. The staff taking our order was so nice.

Got the gelato with chocolate slivers in it and it was delicious. Probably some of the best gelato I ever had.

The gelato is super creamy and good. But it's pretty expensive ($8) and it's cash only. For $8 the size is a bigger than normal. And they include the waffle which is a good crunch. We got the raspberry and Nutella. For those that rarely carry cash or don't at all, probably eliminates the place. Not sure if smaller cafes are cash only as we're not from area. So if you have cash, it's a good treat after a heavy Italian dinner.

I only give this 4 stars cause there's always room for improvement. But at this place you will see a wide variety of gelato and treats. Not to mention the service was great we walked in and greeted everyone with a smile and asked how our day was. The cannoli was super tasteless, it looked like t it was over two days old. The giant cookies are two dollars and it tasted OK, my husband got the M&M's. We also bought 2 types of ice cream and it tastes exactly the same.

Much better gelato elsewhere in North End. Owner was super rude to me. Avoid as if they spread the plague.

First of all, the gelato at Table Caffe is exquisite. On the night I went (Saturday) there was a line out the door of people waiting. However, I was disappointed that to see that the cashier who was helping us with payments (and taking cash with her bare hands) also used the same hands without gloves to stick in a Pizzelle into the gelato. Presumably, she has been collecting cash for hours. I consider cash to be quite dirty and I'd expect anyone touching cash to thoroughly wash hands before touching food.

the best chicken cutlets and sauce to go! I love this if passing through will grab for an instant dinner and all are happy.

Best gelato in the north end and there isn't even a close second. Cute shop. Friendly staff.

Looked awesome but they only sell one size gelato for $8 and unfortunately, the strawberry tasted artificial. One of the worst gelato I have ever tried and I like almost every frozen treat. Skip this option. Also-cash only!

Delicious gelato! I love trying new food at Time Out Market and Table Caffe offered the best gelato. The worker kindly offered samples and sizes were larger than I thought but so worth my money.

Cute dessert store and friendly service. I had the gelato for which there is only one size ($8, 2 flavors) available. I would prefer if they have a smaller size available as it was too big for those just looking for something sweet after a meal in the North End. I had the hazelnut and Nutella flavors. They were both good though I've had much better gelato elsewhere.

Truly a disheartening thing to hear that the customer servicing skills of the manager Jen Royle is to personally attack a patron for cancelling a reservation due to circumstances out of her control. I'd expect better from a "highly regarded" food restaurant. Do better Jen Royle and fix the attitude of yours.

3/10 I was so excited this cafe was opening up right next to my apartment. I have bought coffee here a few times and have been disappointed in a few ways. 1) the hours are incredible inconvenient. The place is closed Monday through Wednesday and all mornings until 3pm, so it could never be a go to coffee shop. 2) the coffee is incredible expensive and cash only. I think I paid $7 or $8 for a tiny black Americano... To be fair, I haven't tried the gelato here, so that could be good. But I also brought friends to go try it a few times before I realized how weird the hours were and it was always closed.

Stopped at Table Caffe while strolling through the area. When I arrived the line was out of the door, I didn't feel like waiting but noticed how quickly things were moving. Once inside, I ordered the pistachio gelato in a cup, and it came with a small piece of waffle in the middle. The establishment is cash only and the gelato cup was about $8 or $10. The gelato was good, it didn't taste like the gelato I've had before. This gelato was very sweet, which was good in the moment but I definitely realized it after a few more spoon fulls. I didn't finish it because while I wanted something to satisfy my sweet tooth the gelato was just too sweet.

Bad customer service. Food is sub par. Worst gelato I've ever experienced. Would not recommend

Slap in the face to every new Bostonian we want something new fresh and actually good not just art decor for cool photo props hoping that will be enough for social media to keep it afloat ! How can you make something so simple bland and boring !? Anyways 2 stars because of the staff very nice and decent but do not DO NOT order the ROASTED GARLIC I wouldn't be surprised if this stomach bug spreading everywhere came from that dish NEXTTTTT

Went in today and had the BEST gelato!! I always get sandwiches at their sister restaurant across the street, so I knew Table Caffe was going to be just as amazing. Bri and Omar were very kind and friendly. The cafe looks awesome and is a great addition to the neighborhood. Can't wait to come back and try more gelato flavors and coffee

Great little cafe. Got some pistachio gelato (delicious) and hazelnut which was good. Also got a peanut butter bomb which was amazing not to sweet and super moist. The mini lemon cake is amazing oh my gosh. Super friendly staff. When we entered we were offered a free sample of their new hazelnut latte. Sooooo delicious seriously tastes better than a hot chocolate with an energy boost yum! Will be returning for sure! Better pastries than Mikes and modern........

Delicious homemade gelato! I got the tasted marshmallow and also tried the tiramisu. Both were delicious! The selection is vast and there are so many cute little Italian gifts in the store as well.

Best Gelato in Boston!! Flavors are amazing, the texture is perfect! If you don't like Table Gelato then you don't know Gelato.

Table Caffe is another offering from Table Boston. We came in once for a coffee and received a burnt cappuccino (red flag: the barista asked what size we wanted the cappuccino...) and lukewarm coffee. We were less than impressed. The second time we came in for gelato. $8 each. Unevenly filled, runny, all four flavors seemed to have been kept at different temperatures. Save your cash for the other establishments in the North End (a Bova's cannoli can satisfy your sweet tooth, and almost anywhere else would be better for coffee). The store itself is loaded and crowded. Aesthetically, it's wonderful. As a customer, the experience is less than satisfactory. As a side note: before we read the horrific passive aggressive reviews from the owner, we tried the restaurant in March ($320 with a bottle of wine for a dinner for two that started off incredibly strong with an incredible octopus course, and then dipped off with a series of filling but somewhat generic dishes between one couple arguing and another speaking so loudly it was impossible to hear conversation - but that's another story).

Good coffee and excellent cannoli! The Carmel pecan bar is really good. We will be back.

Great gelato but cash only. Make sure you get a piece of the waffle cone with your cup of gelato.

Try the pistachio gelato! You won't be disappointed. It's a game changer :)

Table Caffe has a beautiful interior - wonderful design, products, cleanliness. I was just curious and went inside, when I the beautiful " TABLE caffe" sign near the fire station on Hanover - with another sign "gelato", ok you had me at gelato and coffee! The aesthetic was much like a European cafe, great Italian candy/cookies, coffee, gifts for my family and I didn't have to lug it home from Italy - I loved it! I have spent many many years going to Italy annually on holiday, still do, and love the gelato there. The gelato was outstanding at Caffe and even better than what I have had in parts of Italy. I had it in a cup- 2 scoops and going back for more - keep making the limone and Nutella . The products and gelato in Table Caffe are above par and I couldn't be happier. Affogato next time - it looked amazing when another customer got it and swooned!!

Visiting here from Malibu and we were SO excited to try this place, yet it pales in comparison to the authentic Italian family run gelato shops in Coastal California and Italy itself. The gelato here is bland and soupy; a bit foamy. The attendant was overwhelmed and gave one of us the wrong flavors and the owner was perturbed when we asked for the correct flavor we ordered. That was AFTER we spent over $50 in chocolate in the store!

Still dreaming of the pistachio and vanilla gelato I had last week. Will be back asap.
