The Best Restaurants In Bentonville

"You can’t miss Table Mesa—it takes up a third of the town square—and we like it best for a heavy brunch. The babka french toast with cinnamon cream is huge (and the leftovers will last in your fridge all week), and there’s an in-house bakery that makes homemade flour tortillas for breakfast tacos or Latin scrambles with roasted pork and avocado. In case you need snacks for the bike trail or on your walk to Crystal Bridges, Table Mesa also does plenty of takeout. Just don’t think too hard about the fact that the English translation of the restaurant’s name is just “table table.” " - ryan bernsten

Waitress super polite. Service in general was great. Salsa n chips w/ guacamole was all homemade. Had plantains chips in it as well, was insanely good. Blue crab quesadilla special had succulent shrimp and the grab was tender! Really good! Price for the quality of food and service is worth it

We had a great experience at Table Mesa Bistro! The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, perfect for a relaxed meal. We tried the chicken enchiladas, macho nacho, vegetarian quesadillas, and a refreshing passion fruit lemonade. Every dish was flavorful, especially the nachos—they were loaded and satisfying. The service was warm and attentive, making the overall experience even better. Definitely a spot worth visiting if you’re in the area!

Google
This trip to Bentonville area has not let us down once for food and this place is another one we loved. I do research places before I go and Table Mesa has lived up to its reputation. The food was delicious and the waiter knew everything on the menu. He had lots of recommendations and also had tried everything himself which is super helpful. Very cool passionate guy 😎 we did outdoor seating and though there is a lot of construction going on the evening outdoor seating was not noisy from that. The noise is from the road but it’s expected when choosing to sit outside. It is hard to find parking right now. Hopefully when construction is done that will change. 10/10

Google
Had lunch of salsa, guacamole, chips, chicken tortilla soup and Korean BBQ beef lettuce wraps. All the food was delicious! The server seemed to have too many tables and was not as attentive as we would have liked.

Google
Came in for dinner on a Saturday night. This place is huge and the menu is even bigger. It is mostly Mexican food, so it was strange to see a page of Asian dishes. We didn't try, but maybe next time. The food was ok, but not great. The portion sizes were huge, especially the macho nachos which must be shared. The rest of the entrees were average.

Google
Absolutely fantastic service from Melissa! One of the most knowledgeable and friendly servers I have ever encountered! As someone with multiple food intolerance issues I greatly appreciate her knowledge of the menu and what ingredients are in (or cooked in the same container) as common allergens as well as cross contamination. Food was fresh and tasty. Will definitely return when I am in town again, thanks to Melissa and her amazing service!

Google
This is one of my favorite places to go for brunch!!! Always a fun time with some of the best food around! You just keep ordering and it just keeps coming!!! You can’t go wrong. Try it all!!! There’s nothing you won’t like!

Google
We came in from Phoenix and made a reservation for their Easter buffet- Holy cow!! The food was AMAZING!! It’s buffet style served to you, so basically tapas style. The Mexican corn salad, iron skillet Del Mar, Churrasco steak and the Mac and cheese were all fantastic. We ended with a chocolate mousse cake. Our server Simya was amazing. Thank you Table Mesa Bistro, we’ll be back!

Yelp
Table Mesa is in the heart of Bentonville Square! You can get a full meal plus drink and appetizer for less than $20 a person, which is great for a team lunch outing. Also, plenty of large tables. Don't skip out on the - Cheap Dates stuffed with chorizo & wrapped in bacon (we may have placed a second order after the first order disappeared from everyone eating them so quickly) - Squash & spinach enchiladas with coconut rice & elotes (you get to pick two sides with all entrees)

Yelp
Excellent recommended restaurant while visiting Bentonville. I went for lunch and tried the chicken curry burrito. Excellent flavor and served with rice and beans. Big portion and reasonably priced. Friendly service and fun ambiance. I would definitely return.

Yelp
Started with "cheap dates" which is my favorite appetizer in local memory. It is dates stuffed with cheese wrapped in bacon. Sweet, salty, delciousness. I had a special that was "key west burrito". It was stuffed with salmon and other seafood and was delicious. It balanced the "I can hear my tablemates" with "this feels like an active place" Our service was spot on. Would recommend!
google avatar

Yelp
Good service, nice setting, cozy, nice selection of drinks and food items. The stuffed dates are delightful. We had the carne asada special and the shrimp quesadillas and finished with the churros. Then we found out the place shares owners with Tavola Trattoria (where we ate two nights ago). Well, doing a good job at both places. Enjoyed both places.

Yelp
Came here for a work dinner on a Wednesday night. The building it's in is an older quaint building near the downtown area of Bentonville. As we walked in we were escorted to another part of the building with the bar and tables. It was much quieter than the main dining room. Our server was a nice young kid who went over the menu and specials. I order the mama Mia chicken which was good, the only thing was I subbed corn for broccoli and thought it came off the cob vs on the cob. Others ordered enchiladas, quesadillas. I would recommend this place to others.

Yelp
We were celebrating my husband's bday and our anniversary. We loved the ambience, the flow, very friendly staff. LOVED the Shrimp Taquitos, enjoyed the Steak A La Cana as well as cocktails and wine but dessert left us flat. We really like tres leches cake. A tres leches cake literally means three-milk cake. It's a type of airy sponge cake soaked in milk, evaporated milk and condensed milk. The cake is completely soaked in sweet dairy. We asked our server, Robert, if the lime tree leches cake was good. He highly recommended it. It wasn't disgusting but it wasn't anything like tres Leches and it was very ho hum. It was a yellow cake sitting on a small bit of sweet liquid ( no lime taste), with a drizzled top and berries on the side. We could have picked up a better cake in the Walmart bakery. We never send food back but last night we sent the cake back and ordered the chocolate mousse cake. SKIP THE DESSERT is what we recommend. We were charged for the yellow cake.

Yelp
Had never tried their Sunday Brunch until today. Don't go if you're not hungry. They offer their regular menu in smaller portions and everything we tried was amazing. The only problem is making a choice between dishes. It's a great way to try an item you might not have tried because you weren't sure you wanted to commit to a whole plate. Our waitstaff, Itzel was really helpful with suggestions about portions and general ordering. Definitely a wonderful experience that we will try again.

Yelp
I want to like this place.. I've been 3 times now and each time the food is just meh. Nothing special, nothing great. Also our food came out in like 8 min. My blade runner bowl had water just sitting at the bottom. Service was great and drinks were ok!

Yelp
Excellent lunch between museum visits in Bentonville! A wonderful fusion of Mexican and Asian cuisine, Table Mesa did not disappoint for a casual meal. We were seated quickly. Service was timely and adequate. Our meals were hot, presented in a lovely manner, and excellent sized portions. You will pay "downtown" prices, but the options available meet many tastes and the location cannot be beat! Big fan of the mahi mahi tacos and the guac!

Yelp
We stumbled across this place and wasn't sure based on the reviews. It was absolutely fabulous! My husband, 16 year old son, and myself all loved our dishes. Queso Barria, Indian butter chicken, and Korean noodles all fabulous!

Yelp
The Table Mesa Bistro offers both quaint inside and outside patio (not pictured) dining. The staff was very friendly, the service was very good, and the food was outstanding. Definitely a two forks up! The pancakes were light and fluffy, large enough to share and had a hint of vanilla in them; the syrup was legit, not just liquid sugar. My dish was the Latin Scramble. First of all, the sautéed onions were translucent, which is my preference, and the poblanos were tender (also my preference). The poblanos gave it a nice little kick without being overpowering. The salsa was the same, gave it a great flavor without burning your mouth. The pork was melt in your mouth, cut it with a fork tender. The brunch potatoes were perfectly done with the skin crunchy...they were soooo good! The fruit was ripe and a nice compliment to the meal. The only other minus here was in the beverage department. The decaf coffee just was not good. Didn't ask what brand they use, but even though they made a fresh pot, the flavor was just off. I did like that they left carafes of ice water on the table, though. While it was a bit on the pricey side, I would definitely eat here again.

Yelp
First experience was decent--the nachos are awesome! Second time they skimped on the nachos a bit, but I still got some tacos to go. Only the find that there were CLODS OF DIRT in my cilantro. Just hope I don't get sick and I stopped eating immediately. I'm leaving town in the morning so I don't see the point in chasing down a refund but this was pretty disappointing.
google avatar

Autumn M.

Yelp
The food was good. I recommend the butternut squash enchiladas. The plates come with 2 sides and I recommend the back beans. The elote style corn wasn't what I expected. Unfortunately the corn tasted like it was out of a can and it was missing the flavors you'd expect with this dish. The plates are very large so you'll leave very full! Unfortunately it took us a while to get a server on the street so beware when you sit outside. It is nice though to sit outside when the weather is nice and people watch!
google avatar

Shahan A.

Yelp
Korean bbq beef tacos were great. Also got a random cookie which was good too. But parking downtown is a miserable experience that I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy.
google avatar

Yelp
Amazing margaritas especially the house margarita. The quesa birria is really good and l Flank steak fajitas are amazing. Get the chips, salsa and guacamole . This is a bit more expensive than normal stuff but def worth it for a fun night out. Service is really good and it's a cool place.
google avatar

Ariel B.

Yelp
The only thing that was satisfying was the water and the service of the waitress. I wouldn't recommend the Montreal burger. Such a strange flavor and very greasy.
google avatar

Gregory C.

Yelp
I came here after work and was unfamiliar with the fusion concept. Let me tell you I was a bit skeptical looking over the menu. It was quite extensive and caused me some paralysis over whether to go with a traditional Mexican dish or Asian inspired item. I was between the Chicken Adobo and Carnitas. Decided to go with the carnitas. It was so tender and flavorful. I don't regret my decision what so ever. I had a local craft brew to pair. Definitely recommend visiting this location for amazing service and great initiate atmosphere. I enjoyed the dinner scene in downtown Bentonville and hope to return here soon.

Jeannette H.

Yelp
I have tried several different meals. It is always a solid choice for good food. It is a nice place to go for lunch with family and friends.
google avatar

Kristen S.

Yelp
Sat for ten minutes before a waiter approached. Then, made the mistake of not knowing it was a set brunch for $22.50 after we ordered coffee. I am gluten free, my friend dairy free so very little options, and four times when we did try to order something, we were told they were out, including dessert. Waiter was young and inexperienced and completely unsympathetic to our dietary needs. Overheard a couple on their way out saying how this place has gone downhill over the past few years. Overpriced for mediocre food, do not recommend.
google avatar

Hal S.

Yelp
This place all depends upon what you're there for, and how concerned you are with price/value. Their breakfast/brunch is fairly reasonably priced, and very good. On the other hand, their bakery cafe is less reasonable, IMO. One of their cookies is $2.25, while an iced latte that looks a tad smaller than Starbucks' small size ("tall") is $5.25, compared to Starbucks' $4.45. If you want an iced mocha, that'll bring it up to $6, compared to Starbucks' $5.25. The "ambiance" is pleasant throughout, and they have sidewalk seating in addition to multiple seating areas inside. It's a nice spot to stop and relax on the town square. Just be aware of what to expect.

Angela G.

Yelp
I sat at the bar alone (here for work) and Kendall was incredibly welcoming and helpful to me and other guests nearby! She is an attentive server, really good at her job. Fun vibe, great for families or friends or grabbing dinner alone. Interesting fusion food! I really enjoyed the chips and salsa! Highly recommend for 2 bucks extra! I had a bowl and swapped steak for chicken. It came with peanut dressing, I think I would have preferred ranch. Overall, great flavors.

Yelp
Table Mesa is a charming restaurant in downtown Bentonville. It has an array of foods from Buttered chicken to carne asada tacos. Anyone can find the food that they want! The staff is always very nice and accommodating. Perfect place for a dinner!

Emma H.

Yelp
New! Table of Joy- attached to Table Mesa, and it is fabulous! They have lots of options, including gluten free choices. I had the Miso Salmon (gluten free) and it was delicious! Great balanced meal options and the food doesn't leave you feeling heavy or overly full. Service is great and the waiters are always kind and knowledgeable.
google avatar

Cienna G.

Yelp
Food was great. Service was PHENOMENAL. The setting is wonderful. Clean, spacious and lively. The energy was just right. We had the pleasure of being served by Joy. She was literally such a joy to be served by, such a bubbly, bright personality and beaming smile. My mother is allergic to garlic and Joy really bent over backwards to make sure my mother was catered to properly and enjoyed a beautiful garlic-free meal. I got a chicken tortilla soup, it was perfect. I'm honestly not sure what my parents got but they loved their meals and they have been recommending this place to everyone, just like it was recommended to us. 10/10. Would definitely go again.

Yelp
This place used to be packed and reservations required. We hadn't been to Bentonville in about a year and were surprised when we called and were told we wouldn't need reservations on a Saturday night. It's clear now the reason, service and food quality have dropped. Coconut Rice was dry and bland, no Coconut flavor at all. Mexican rice was dried out. "Brisket" tacos would have rated a 4 if they were on the menu as shredded beef, because it sure wasn't a Brisket taco. Black beans from a can were heated up and had no flavor.

Sarah W.

Yelp
What a cute restaurant! It was very busy but we were seated quickly with the option of call ahead. It's not really a reservation but it helps with priority seating if you call ahead. We loved the entire experience! Our food was amazing and we loved our waitresses suggestions on what to get since we are from out of town. The appetizer was $20 but it had a little of everything. The white queso was so unique and delicious. It is a little sweet (pepper jelly) so if you only like savory then I would skip the queso. The pork enchiladas were amazing and the rice and black beans were delicious as well. Don't forget to stop at the bakery before you head out.
google avatar

Lee K.

Yelp
Good food. Good service. Very consistent. Always polite and courteous staff. Can be a bit loud during peak times. Along with myself everyone seems to always leave pleased with the experience.

Becky D.

Yelp
Nice ambiance. Friendly staff. Good to go for lunch or brunch. Good coffee and fun options on the brunch menu. The butternut squash enchiladas are awesome!
google avatar

Yelp
We stopped in at Table Mesa while visiting The Walmart Museum in downtown Bentonville, the overall interior and establishment was nice and service was great! The food itself didn't wow us - we got 3 different dishes and a queso appetizer. Most unfortunately lacked flavor, we were itching for something more. The sauces themselves on the chimivanga and enchiladas were decent, but again, not a ton of flavor. I liked the guac and freshness on top of the chimivanga a lot. The queso was also alright but the chips were probably the highlight of the meal
google avatar

Shannon D.

Yelp
Two of us just had brunch here...a waste of 78$...drinks were wrong, food all came out separately...server was nice but did not have much serving experience...I would of been happier at Waffle House for 20$..
google avatar

Neill S.

Yelp
This was great! They have a mix of Mexican, Indian, and Asian. Very large portions, great service, place was very busy.

Ila W.

Yelp
Have been for the brunch (we go on a Sunday morning in early Dec each year) as well as lunch several times and dinner at least once. It is all delicious, especially dinner!!! I hope to go again soon.
google avatar

Kelly D.

Yelp
This is the spot for Sunday brunch! I was so impressed with the service, quality of food and portion sizes! It's a fixed menu for brunch and we thought it was a buffet. We were wrong! We had a server and he brought us everything we ordered freshly prepared from the kitchen. You could order as much as you wanted. We wanted to try everything and even requested smaller portions since it was just two of us. Their folded eggs with cheese were magical. Not sure what their secret was! The ham was delicious! Oh the French toast was soooo good. We loved the potatoes and the biscuits and gravy!! We loved the rolls and desserts too. Please don't miss this spot when in Bentonville!!

Constance P.

Yelp
Service is the best anywhere and the food is uniquely AMAZING!!! It's located on the square in Bentonville so you can take a nice stroll after dinner.
google avatar

Amanda R.

Yelp
Grabbed breakfast Table Mesa while in Bentonville. I got the breakfast tacos and my husband got the scramble. Everything was good, but the tortillas were the highlight. They were fresh and delicious. Service was good. No complaints!
google avatar

Mike C.

Yelp
Deserts are excellent. Great selection of flavors. All of the selection that we tried were amazing. Need to go back to try mire varieties.
google avatar

Steve D.

Yelp
This is our 2nd time back at Table Mesa. Again it didn't disappoint. If you're visiting Bentonville this is a great place to check out. Nice drink menu also.
google avatar

Yelp
In town for a festive weekend of exploring NW Arkansas, I hit up Table Mesa (table table?) on the great occasion of their Easter Brunch. So tempting to try and eat all the things on the menu, but started with the grapefruit & avocado salad, added butternut squash enchiladas, spinach & goat cheese scramble, and topped off with tres leches in jars and berry jars. Despite the busy day, all of my food came out quickly and hot -- although as it got later, more folks had trouble getting their dishes in a timely fashion. The bartenders were attentive, despite covering the out front tables, the bar, and several other tables, plus drinks for a crowd. Really enjoyed the food, and appreciated all the veg-friendly options.
google avatar

Rose H.

Yelp
This was such a good meal and awesome dinner spot!! I highly recommend giving it a try. Service- 5/5 stars (our waitress was the best!) Mahi mahi tacos- 4.5/5 stars (could have used a little more flavor Overall portions and prices- 5/5 stars Chocolate tres leches- 5/5 stars Ambiance and decor- 5/5 stars Texmex Queso- 3/5 stars (chips were cold and greasy, queso portion was way small for the price and we ran out of queso way before we ran out of chips and ended up wasting a lot of chips
google avatar

Lexi M.

Yelp
First of all, the bartending staff is amazing! By the end of the night, I was greeted by a manager with a slice of tres leches cake on the house because it was my first time there. As a customer, I really appreciate when businesses do this. It's not at all expected, but it will have me coming back. Their menu wasn't a traditional Tex Mex/Mexican menu. It was so much more than that! I ordered the butternut squash enchiladas with the rice and corn as my side and was VERY pleased with my decision. Now, the dessert... by far the best tres leches cake I've had. It had so much flavor but it wasn't too rich and heavy. It's in a great spot. They have outdoor seating, indoor steadying and bar seating with some hanging plants! Great restaurant for the service, food and the price. This one is on my rotating list to eat at while I'm here.
google avatar

Laurel S.

Yelp
Had a great meal here with delicious margaritas. Sat outside and the service was great. This wasn't the place we planned to eat but a lot of things are closed on Mondays in Bentonville so this was a happy plan b. Shared the nachos and quesadilla and both were very yummy.
google avatar

Stacy T.

Yelp
The food was so delicious. We sat outside with our dog and enjoyed the sidewalk passerby's. Recommend for both dinner and brunch. We will be back.
google avatar

Chantel K.

Yelp
Had top notch service! Very friendly. The Moe bowl was delicious for lunch and a good portion. Great flavor profile. I'm visiting from Denver and everyone recommended this place. Highly recommend!
google avatar

Sara M.

Yelp
Unique and interesting menu, even better flavors, presentation, beverages and service. Fun atmosphere from casual to upscale. Always enjoy!

Annika H.

Yelp
So very good! Small serving of potatoes but definitely filling enough. Great service and explained the menu for us!
google avatar

Kay A.

Yelp
Delicious, wonderful service. The place was very relaxed and inviting. Can't wait to go back!

Yelp
Bentonville, AR. Hard to believe, at first, how hipster this little town in Arkansas is, lots of good food places and this is one of them. Located on the town square near the WalMart museum. This town is the home of WalMart, BTW. Brisket enchiladas are marvelous. The tender beef really stands out and there is none of that so typical enchilada sauce taste. Their own sauce makes it stand out. It came with a side of Mexican corn that was good but only slightly warm. Also on the plate were some really tasty sweet potato slices but unfortunately they were cold. The tortilla soup was perfect in every way and even had large chunks of chicken in there. Pulled pork Chile relleno was exceptional. The chili had plenty of fire without being a nuisance and the pork had a tasty marinade flavor. Home Wrecker Pale Ale washed everything down quite nicely. Oh, by the way, breakfast was excellent!

Toby S.

Yelp
Sluggish service paired with subpar breakfast food does not make for an elegant combo. The breakfast toast was harder than crostini. I, we do not recommend this Bentonville Square restaurant.

Ashley A.

Yelp
The atmosphere of this restaurant was amazing. The portions were generous and the service was prompt and polite! Really enjoyed my meal here.
