Table SODAM

Authentic Korean cuisine. The food is delicious and the portions generous. Good quality for price ratio. Same menu for lunch and dinner. The only thing I must say is that the restaurant closes at 14:00, so they force you out even if you are in the middle of your meal. It would have been nice to be told as we arrived at 13:00.

We came as a family of six, including a little one, and were happy to see that a high chair was readily provided. Everyone enjoyed their lunch meals—everything we ordered tasted great and came in generous portions. What really stood out were the side dishes—they were fresh, flavorful, and complemented the main dishes beautifully. The bibimbap was also especially tasty. Even though there were only two staff members working, they were impressively quick and attentive, making sure everything ran smoothly. The only small downside was that the galbijim was a bit on the sweeter side for our taste, but overall, we had a great experience and would definitely return.

I had a great experience at table SODAM. The have a small menue to chose from but that helps them keep the quality high. I loved their cucumber kimchi. The service was great with the host being supper kind and nice. It’s a popular place so there might be a bit of wait depending on the date and time of your visit.

This restaurant (Table SODAM) and Table 18 are basically the same restaurant but the server mentioned there are some differences. Anyway we entered via Table 18 but were immediately directed to Table SODAM. I enjoyed my bibimbop very much. hF enjoyed her bone soup (Gamjatang). Meal presented nice on wooden serving boards. The accompanying dishes "banchan" included kimchi which was superior. Great service; will definitely return.

Table Sodam is, without a doubt, the best Korean restaurant in Ottawa. If you’re new to Korean cuisine, this is the perfect place to start—everything on the menu is bursting with authentic flavours and generous portions. I highly recommend trying their bibimbap, galbi (Korean BBQ short ribs), and fried chicken with cream-based pasta—each dish is absolutely delicious. Their banchans (small side dishes) are also fantastic and a wonderful complement to the main courses. Overall, Table Sodam delivers amazing Korean food in Ottawa, and it’s definitely a spot worth checking out!

This bulgogi was absolutely amazing! The beef was so tender and flavorful, and the sauce was perfectly balanced. Definitely a must-try!" The service was excellent, and the staff were very knowledgeable and helpful in recommending dishes.

Good serving size and variety on the menu. We were there as a group of six. The restaurant isn't setup to accommodate large groups. They were accommodating and got us settled in fairly quickly despite the space. Menu was simple but sufficient. Food was prepared fast and was delicious. Serving size was good with a good amount of size dishes. We ordered more than usual for dinner due to the larger group, including alcohol, hence the average cost per person was about $60.

Our go to Korean restaurant Food always tasted amazing Service - top notch Atmosphere is great Last time we were here it was a small space but recently went last night and space got bigger! Although, the price went up! That’s inflation for you! Overall, will always come back here!
