TACBAR - Tacos, Burritos, Nachos, Quesadillas & Margaritas

Just ok. The good thing is they're open til late, this is especially noticeable because everywhere else is closed much earlier at Devon house. The decor is nice, stays on theme and there's lots of seating. Music is too loud to talk but if you like the preparty/loud vibe it's you. The staff is courteous, but I don't get why the security have to be so prominent inside the dining area. Depending on what you get, you'll like it, but as with most restaurants the quality is inconsistent. The value for money is low for me, I ordered from the Christmas menu and the chicken pasta had little to no chicken, rice and peas wasnt fresh, etc. and this is annoying after waiting over 45 minutes. Overall the taste of the food was ok, not a hint of Mexican though.

They have a ton of options on the menu whether you're into classic street tacos, loaded burritos, or something more unique, there's something for everyone. The food came out fast, fresh, and full of flavor. Drinks were also quick to arrive, and everything tasted amazing. The staff were friendly, overall, it was a great experience. The only thing worth noting is that checking out as a group was a bit tedious. It might be helpful if they improved the way they handle group payments to make it smoother in the future. Still, I’d definitely recommend this place if you’re craving delicious tacos.

This was my first time here and Denesha was an excellent bartender/server! She was very hospitable and patient with me every step of the way. I will be back again.

Never had a negative experience but tonight was especially good! Staff 10/10. Food 10/10. Atmosphere 10/10. Don't ever fall off!

Loved my first visit here. My waitress was so kind yet professional. Knowledgeable of the menu items and her recommendations were on point. The drinks were a wonderful added touch with the tacos. It was not super crowded so the wait time was very good. Clean, great music and I will definitely revisit.

Update: minimalist, beautiful decor, works perfectly to create a zen experience. Jerk chicken flatbread was better first time I've had it but still good. Ambience is still good. Very friendly, attentive staff, makes the experience great even if you don't like the dish, the service makes up for the experience. The variety is good. Try the tacos, flatbread, drinks.

What a place full of vibes and good food! I loved how they did a fusion with Mexican gourmet dishes that include a Jamaican twist in their dishes. That's unique and fun in itself, the various events hosted attracts a certain demographic that also lifts the mood. The staff are very friendly from what I've seen and I've went here six times without a bad experience. Overall, this spot gets a 9/10 for me and that's a Very High rating

Our server Jodi-Ann was lovely, friendly and wonderful. She provided us with an alternative drink when the one we originally wanted was unavailable and it was a great choice. She also accommodated our food alteration without hassle. She is a real credit to the Tacbar team.
