Taco & Co.

I had this delivered so nothing on staff or atmosphere. This gave me flashbacks of sitting in my friends house enjoying a wonderful home cooked meal with his family. I had the Tacos mix plate and every bite just made me happy. And the chiros were a tasty finisher. I can wait to try out the rest of the menu.

Alright I've passed this place a million times thinking it would be like cafeteria style food since it's attached to the library. 100% this place is really good. Good tacos, good flavor, fresh, medium and hot salsa are good. This just became my favorite taco spot when I'm staying at the hotel next store

Great food! You can tell everything is made fresh and uses good ingredients. We had the pollo asado tacos with green salsa and refried beans. Our order included house made tortilla chips and salsa at no extra cost. We were staying at the Courtyard Marriott next door and were lucky to have this place nearby. Also, this is the only Mexican restaurant I know of that has an entire library attached to it so if you need some reading material just go in there while you wait for your food.

I got the quesabiria meal. It included so much food with it and a drink. When you eat in, you get chips and salsa and....... super yummy bean dip with chorizo in it! So good.

2nd time here and absolutely love it my son had the carne asada tacos and the meat is flavorful and tasty, my daughter loves the quesabirria's and the birria burrito bowl is delicious. The service is excellent definitely recommend.

They get a five STARZ from me. Been here a few times and they never disappoint burritos are on point flavorful and juicy. Best in town.

we went with our business partner to have some lunch. Place is awesome. We order chicken • steak • pastor • chorizo • birria tacos • cheese cake. Everything was made to order. Customer service was amazing. 10/10

Delicious taco. Highly recommend the el pastor. Sauce is spicy and fresh, chips fresh hot and crispy. Restaurant is next to a library and court house with plenty of police about but the establishment itself inside is clean, and a little more upscale.

Was at the library/hungry I decided to try then out. Wasn't all that bad at all. They deserve my five stars.

Tired of chasing taco trucks? Look no further, Taco & Co is a stable establishment that definitely has some yummy eats made with quality at a convenient price. I ordered the taco combo with rice and beans to go. The service here is great. I personally love the view of the big red anchor right outside the venue, as a hometown kid I can't but feel a sense of pride being here.

Tacos were good. Pastor meat is spicyyyy just a heads up. Quesabirria tacos were good, but the meat on one of the tacos was bland. Overall good flavorful tacos. Orange salsa is good. Chips were great! Service was great too.

Ok, so I didn't think much of the place when I drove by. I went there with a group during a lunch break during a work trip. WOW, such good food. I ended up with a breakfast burrito with extra sauce (might have been too much sauce actually, that's fault for asking for extra on something I'd never tried before). The ingredients were all fresh and it was super filling and tasty. Two people on my group got the nachos and made me wish my training was a day longer so I could get my own! The service was nice and seating area was clean, with plenty of space.

What an awesome way to try Taco & Co . They catered at my sister's church Easter event at a park in Antioch Ca . The owner and his staff were friendly , they move quickly to get everyone served . The work area was clean, each of the staff had on gloves and continued to keep their station organized. I had their chicken , asada tacos with beans rice . Food was delicious and hot . Definitely will make a detour to their restaurant when I am in the area again .

Closed during posted hours with no explanation. Just bothers me when businesses do this. Things come up I get it but drive out of my way to try and it was closed. Post a sign on the door that something came up. It Monday at 2 pm and says they are open u til 5. Unfortunately could not try to food but they have good reviews. Location looks good as well. Maybe I'll try again. I appreciate the response from the owner and will try to come back to try the food and update the rating given.

Great service to complement the delicious food. Steak fries and churros are my daughters go to every time. Burrito bowls are delicious and satisfying. Last visit was given a sample of caramel soft serve that made my day after a long day at work. Glad hours have expanded for dinner

Waiting for our order!! Super excited to try this place!! Lots of available parking, literally attached to the library, and really friendly service!!! Julietta, she made solid suggestions and we ordered all of them! Watched as the cook Jonathan whipped up our order in a jiffy, had us out of there with hot food in hand in a jiffy. Great tacos, very nice and clean new restaurant. Nice servers and great cooks. If you are downtown and craving tacos you should go.

When I opened the box of fries, oh my!!! They looked and tasted absolutely delicious. I totally forgot to ask if they have jalapeños, but that would've been the perfect touch. I also got a burrito premium, so I hope that's good too. I don't want to update this review if it suck, but they also have a cozy little library next door where you can kill some time while you wait for your order. From now on, this might just become my go-to place for Mexican food.

Finally checked out Taco & Co a couple of mornings ago and am still thinking about the breakfast burrito I had. My husband got the chorizo breakfast burrito and I had the mushroom. They were the best we've had!! Absolutely delicious, fresh, loaded, and the salsas on the side were fantastic. Chips were hot and fresh and the service was great. We chatted with the kind gentleman who was running things and he was so welcoming and made sure we had an excellent experience. This will now be a regular spot for us!!

Heck YES!!! We are so glad we finally tried Taco & Co and it will now be our go-to for a couple local favs! Connected to the Pittsburg library, they have such a hidden yet perfect location! There's tons of lot parking and indoor/outdoor seating. You're able to easily order your food on a tablet -- we loved this! Here's what we tried: * Al Pastor Tacos ($2.50) - Rating: 5/5 * Quesabirrias w/ Consome ($4.50) - Rating: 5/5 * Nachos w/ Carne Asada ($12) - Rating: 3.5/5 * Breakfast Burrito w/ Chorizo ($10.50) - Rating: 5/5 Yall -- the quesabirrias here are FIRE!!! Hella crispy with the super flavorful consome! Their breakfast burrito? Literally my new favorite!!! We received great service, the restaurant was super clean, and we were so comfortable. We honestly didn't understand why the place was not packed!!! We will definitely be back real soon!

Recently visited here with my brother. Our food was really good. The parking is a little bit tricky, but we had no problems finding a near by parking space. The staff was really friendly. My brother had a breakfast burrito. I had the chilequiles. My only "complaint" was they had no coffee. (I enjoy coffee with my breakfast foods) But I would definitely go back to try more things out. The restaurant is small but had several tables and chairs inside. No outdoor dining.

From the first bite to the last starting with the house chips; warm and super crisp and salted just right. Next, the guacamole; love at first bite. The guacamole was fresh chunky and well seasoned. Truth is in the details. The house chips and 2 dollar guacamole were telling signs that we may have found our new favorite joint. Moving on to the mushroom quesabirria taco .. yes boo. Mushroom taco. Why. Was. That. Ish. STRAIGHT FIRE ?? Next up, the carne steak burrito. Omg. Took a bite and the burrito was stupid good STUPID GOOD immediately thought-- it's 5:50 pm will I make it before 6 if I turn back now?? I was stuck on railroad. There was no chance. Which is why it's 8 am and I'm up completing this part two review. It's also why me and my son I are headed right back to TACO CO. excited to try the breakfast! Part three coming soon.

My friend wanted to try this local restaurant in Pittsburg CA so she picked up lunch for us, some nachos and tacos. Delicious! I especially loved the nachos. I will definitely try them again and see what else they offer.

Already finished sorry but had to come on her and say how good these tacos were today I got the pastor tacos, the portions were a good size and the meat was perfectly seasoned. The Chile de árbol saldo was great too def satisfied. Bomb

I've been here a few times before. We usually get Tacos and they were good, but this time we tried the burrito bowl. I don't know what happened but the black beans were burnt, and the rice was soggy. Yuck. Also ordered chips, but none were in the bag. I called the restaurant but I guess they close by 5pm.

Great tacos! Al pastor is super good and the people that work there are very friendly. I felt good about supporting this place. It's in kind of a random location next to the library and courthouse but the food is worth the visit.

I just attended a party catered by Taco & Co. I was the very first person to respond to the dinner bell, you don't have to ask me twice. They were all incredibly nice and clear about how to navigate the options, while keeping the flow of plate building moving. Given the choice of: chicken, al pastor or carne asada - I went all in on the al pastor. I'm a sucker for pork tacos or burritos. It was tender and packed with excellent flavor. They pointed me to the spicy salsa and I was elated to discover that it truly was spicy. I finished off the plate with rice, beans, lime quarters, and some of the freshly cut cilantro. I absolutely cleared my plate. Some of my friends showed up with littles and they both loved the rice & beans. They have a diverse spread of options, so you can rest assured that everyone will leave happy. Taco & Co. is professional, courteous, and serves up delicious food.

I was luck to be at a party where they were the caterers! These tacos were bursting in flavor! The tacos were make fresh to order. I chose the pastor! Their topping were fresh and I was so satisfied with these tacos! The two brothers running the business were very friendly and make sure everyone had tacos! I need to try out their restaurant locations!!!

The customer service is horrible. I called 3x before someone answered the phone. Got there and I stood in line for 10 mins while the employee was on the phone talking about restocking ingredients. Didn't acknowledge me at all. I asked if I could pay but he said to give him a moment. LOL. The birria was not good, it tasted too much like cinnamon. I was expecting a different experience here due to the previous reviews.

From Southern California so I yelped some local food spots and decided to bring my family here. Food was fire! Nice clean establishment. I loved their guacamole and those chips are excellent and fresh, and the carne quesataco. But I tried a little bit of everything while my family patronized and every thing was delicious. Would def recommended!

Went there on a Wednesday noon time. No one was there. Ordered shrimp tacos and nachos. The tacos were terrible. Shrimp was so small and over cooked and it smelled old. Onions and cilantro were old too. Had to force myself to eat it because I was hungry but left the other one untouched. Nachos were a bit better. At least it was edible somewhat. Never going back there again

I had to do some work at the library and came across this cool spot connected to it. Great menu of food and different meats including the pastor marinated and made with fresh pineapple. Excellent. A must for your tacos or burritos. We had 3 tacos. 2 with Asada and 1 with Pastor. And then also 2 Quesotacos with Asada as well. Great size in portion. Very filling. Vibe is nice and low key but giving you that true Latin culture. A family type of environment. Food service is quick and fresh. The hot salsa is very good made with fresh chilis and cream. They have an assortment of sodas in a cooler to grab and go if needed. We had Mexican coffees after our meal while enjoying churros. They have a cream filled and a Tres Leche one as well. Both were very good and served nice and hot. The staff is super friendly and can make your food to how you may want to adjust your order. Just a cool spot to grab sone great food either to go or enjoy it at the tables inside. Definitely check it out. We ate their two days in a row. Thank you.

Holy Moly! This is the best Burritos - Premium ive had in TWO YEARS!! ive been looking for a great Burritos spot. I saw Taco & Co and I had to YELP them. Based on the reviews & pictures I decided to order. The prices are great. The food is DELICIOUS! Carne asada burrito was divine. Excellent portions of carne, rice and pico de gallo. Also ordered a carne asada Tacos and they were super good. If you want a good Burritos STOP SCROLLING and order here. You won't regret it. I like the fact that it's only open until five it shows quality. And boy oh boy is this great quality

Yes yes and yes again!!!! I ordered two orders of nachos and some shrimp tacos and they all were so delish I could barely make it down the street home! The service was polite and attentive. Place was super clean too. Flavors on hit! Yummy!

Craving Quesibirrias, nothing tastes better than theirs! My husbands favorite are their Mulitas eventhough he didn't know what they were at first. If you are a manzanita soda lover like me , they carry that Soda too! My children absolutely loved the tacos de pollo (chicken) & their only cheese quesadilla plus a side of rice. We also tried their nachos plate and oh my we were like get out of here!!! The pineapple ontop of our pastor meat was bomb diggity!! Nothing about trying out this spot in Pittsburg was disappointing. Truly recommend!!! As to my picture.... (I should have posted my food instead but I devoured that.) Try out this spot and you'll understand why no picture of your food is being taken. It's that good! Taco & Co. is always serving the freshest , most delicious food!

We love supporting local businesses and when it's this good, we have to let others know. We ordered the following things: * chicken premium burrito * asada fries * 1 birria steak taco * 2 soft chicken tacos (no cheese or sour cream) * steak premium burrito I can't say enough on how good their food is. It's well seasoned, good portion, and definitely tasted like home cooked meal. There was plenty of seating and parking so come on over and give Taco & Co. a try. I highly recommended this place. You won't be disappointed. Note: They also do event catering.

Just paid 13 dollars for a premium burrito.... Its definitely a 2/10 paid extra for guacamole and it didn't even have the sour cream it was suppose to come with . No flavor at all ... I always try new places out . And I'm highly disappointed at this one . P.s the burrito isn't that big at all

Meat in Birria tacos was delish but: IF YOU HAVE BEEN OUT OF CONSOMMÉ "ALL DAY", let people know when they order Quesabirria tacos! Everyone knows that's the heart of the operation. They let us order, pay and leave without once mentioning they were out of consommé! No signs posted or anything. Once we got to our car and opened the bag, we assumed they just forgot to put it in and we walked all the way back inside to ask for some and that's when they finally told us..ugh!! I love supporting local, but Tacos & Co. just needs to work on informative customer service.

Good food, clean and good customer service. I'm surprised there aren't many reviews. This is one of the few good places to eat at in Pittsburg.

I'm Mexican!!!! I've had hundreds of different chorizo and egg burritos from a 100 different places and this was hands down the best freaking chorizo burrito I have ever had! The aoli addition and the tater tots are a new school twist that makes me wanting another Tomorrow.

food here is great! prices are comparable to many places and i feel are worth it because food quality and proportions are so good!! staff and owner are always friendly, the vibe is nice, and always clean! 10/10!!

But, boyyyyy, (sorry I was drooling) looking at what I have left to eat. Ok, back to what I was saying, the Quesatacos, (yep your saying it right) are a nice twist on a taco and good enough to miss an appointment for. The shrimp burrito, yep, let me just pause right here for a minute. That thing right there, oh lord. (2 mins go by). Damn how long was I out. Was, just day dreaming about the burrito. Just go here and eat the food. I have to go finish my taco. Y'all need to stop playin and for real check this place out. Support you local establishments....

we ordered from doordash and got this delivered. came with no chips. at least they gave us a good amount of sauce! in the carne asada burrito, we took out everything except rice, meat, and cheese; the burrito came out very tiny. usually places give you a little more of what you asked for when you take out the stuff you don't want. in the al pastor burrito, it did not taste like al pastor meat; there was also pineapple and big onions in it. this place wasn't for us, but maybe for others more!

Place is awesome. The mulitas de Alpastor, the chicken taco, the quesabirria and breakfast burrito are smacking! Place is packed full of flavor. Centrally located and very clean. If you're a local please do go visit.

The food is really good, best Mexican food in Pitt/highest rated in Pitt. The service was really good and fast as well. I would gatekeep the place, but it needs more recognition. The place is sanitary and spacious for family and friends. I've tried almost everything on menu, and it never was disappointing. 10/10 !

When the mayor frequents this spot you know it's gotta be good! I tried the al pastor tacos and carne asada fries. The meat was perfectly flavored and the agua fresca was refreshing. The owner was very generous and we came here for a private event. The restaurant connects to the city library as well. Definitely would be back to try some more of the menu items

I been here a few times and the food is so good. My husband is from LA and he says this is one of the best taco joints Up North that he actually likes. The service is so good. I love how Julie is so nice and well spoken and makes you feel welcomed as soon as you come it. It's a good size restaurant that is very clean and well decorated. I can't to go back and have a killer Burito de Asada.

Wow! This place just blew me away. A friend highly recommended it a few months ago and I've been wanting to try it ever since. Now I understand why she was raving about it so much! The service was excellent. The woman who took my order was so sweet and she reminded me of one of my tias. :) She said it would be about 5 minutes and it was that, if not less. I came in on a Wednesday afternoon and it was quiet in the restaurant; one person sitting and waiting for their order and more people steadily trickling in after me. I got one of each taco: carne asada, pollo asada, and pastor. The flavor was off the charts and the ingredients were so fresh. I think the pollo was my favorite, but each of them were outstanding. They really pack each taco too, the meat was falling out when I picked it up--definitely not skimping out! They even include pinto beans in the tacos (at least in the carne asada one). Great addition. I asked for spicy salsa and the man who gave it to me warned me "it's hot, okay?" And I was hoping he meant it, because my motto is "the spicier the better." And he really meant it!! Let's just say my nose was running while I was eating. Three tacos filled me up, but I definitely wanted another pollo one just because of how delicious it was! I contemplated it, but thought I shouldn't since I already spent money on coffee earlier in the day. They are a tad on the pricey side at $3.50 per taco but totally worth it in my opinion as this is a local, family-owned business and I am happy to support! I will be coming back. VERY HIGHLY recommend!

First time eating at this location and utterly enjoyed my meal. So much so that I forgot to take a picture of it. My husband and I enjoyed queso tacos with pastor, a steak mullita, a quesabirria and Jamaica agua fresca. These were the best tasting tacos I've ever had in Pittsburg. I also appreciate that it's a family run business. I hope to visit often and enjoy the homemade goodness.

BEST Quessabirria Tacos ever!!!! Order online and pick up or order in the morning for a pm pick up. Easy and efficient but most of all DELICIOUS!!

Food is absolutely delicious! I went in at 4 on a Friday and I was the only one in there with my kids. I ordered a shrimp burrito bowl, carne asada fries, carne asada super burrito, and a carne asada quesadilla. All is so good. This is my New Mexican spot.

Had jury duty yesterday, and we broke for lunch. Was looking around for a nearby place to eat within walking distance, and spotted this one just down the street from the court house, next to the library. I love supporting small businesses so I gave them a try. Woman at the front register was very nice. They had a few Mexican food items I'd never heard of before, so I asked her what they were and she explained them. They sounded pretty neat so I ordered two different items. Everything is made fresh, and my food was ready 5 minutes later. Ah, so delicious. The menu is very straightforward and has the usual assortment of tacos and burritos, but there are also some unique items you don't see very often (including the two that I had, the mulitas and the quesabirria). Highly recommended!!

Was looking for something quick and easy and happened to be in the area when finding this place. It is connected to a Library which provides plenty of parking to the left of the library sign. Not too many trees to provide shade so be ready to go back into a really hot car lol. I ordered their Quesabirria tacos with the green sauce on the side. It came with good amount of radish, cucumbers and lime. The meat was so juicy and so flavorful I was upset I only bought 2 lol I'll definitely need to order at least 10 next time!!! I appreciated that the taco shells themselves weren't too crunchy or too soggy, it was just right! The service was great as well, the lady at the counter was very patient, very knowledgeable and had no problem answering all of our questions. As we were ready to leave we thanked the cook and the wonderful staff for such great service all around. This won't be our last time here, we shall see you all soon! Cheers to a wonderful spot!
