Seriously these are some of the best birria tacos you’ll ever have and the seating area outside the truck is perfect and cozy. I’ve been coming here for years and they’re consistent, the portions are hefty, the food is always fresh and the price is worth it!! The elote is also great I would really recommend. I’m so glad this place has stayed in business all these years, every time I come back to miami I have to visit 🩷

This place is fantastic. Rogelio is sooo nice and makes a mean carne asada taco! The guac is plentiful and oh so good. I’m from Chicago so don’t make it down to Miami often but I will come back here any time I’m in town. Well worth the stop if you are craving phenomenal tacos and fresh chips and quac!

Taco Baja Republic is a hidden gem! The tacos are fresh, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. Great vibes, friendly staff, and amazing salsas. A must-try for any taco or burrito lover!

You're able to get 1 of each taco, the quesadilla and tacos were chunkyyyy, there was no wait, reasonably priced, super nice staff. My girlfriend got 3 tacos and she loved them. TBR is da....best

OMGGG the birria quesadillas here are phenomenal so delicious!! The tacos are good too they use very good corn tortillas but I forgot to add cheese to them which makes a huge difference. The tacos came with a small side of pinto beans and red rice. Both of which weren't very tasty but the birria makes up for it!

We ordered the Birria Con Queso and the Tacos de Carne Asada. Both were very good and tasty! We door-dashed our food and our order arrived correctly. Both items were a bit soft on the outside, not as hard (or crunchy) as I thought they would be, but other than that, it was good and I would order from here again!

The birria quseadilla was absolutely tasty! The cheese inside is not chewy at all and seems to melt in your mouth as you bite down. Combined with the awesomely tender shredded beef, you could practically bite down and swallow each bite without much chewing (obviously don't actually do this, or you might choke). The birria broth that accompanied the quesadilla was not too salt. A little dull, but in my opinion had the perfect oomph to not overpower the food. The pricing compared to other places are a tad bit high and has increased compared to the previous year; however, it seems like they are putting the extra revenue to good use as they upgraded from the plastic folding tables to even more wooden bistro/picnic style tables and seating.

If you know me you know one thing I love is tacos. But as simple as they are, it's very easy to mess them up. Now I wouldn't say these tacos were horrendous (they weren't) because if I had the munchies and had these I'd be pretty satisfied. However, they just didn't wow me. I came to this food truck on a whim after I saw a friend post it up on their IG story..it was taco Tuesday and my friend bamboozled me to go. Let's just say I could've saved myself the trip. I wouldn't come back here by choice, but if I was hungry and had nothing else to eat I'd still devour them. I'm intrigued about their birria ramen though, maybe I'll come back for that and only that.

I used to love this place and be so obsessed with it. Except recently they jacked up their prices ridiculously and it's gotten so expensive which sucks because honestly they could tone down the prices. Their burritos used to be around $10.99 and now they're around $18. Same with nachos. They used to be fairly priced, around $10 ish and now they're $18 as well. I know inflation is affecting everyone but if you raise prices too much and the quality of the product remains the same y'all can risk losing business. I can pay the same if not a bit less going to a more glamorous place like Tacology. After all such lavish prices constitute a restaurant and you guys are a food truck. Tone it down. My 2 star review is because despite making good tasting food, I hate when people take advantage of their customers. And these prices sound like someone is getting greedy.

The tacos are amazing. Every bite I took was a flavor explosion in my mouth By far the best tacos I have tried in Miami. They have a really friendly staff and overall a super positive vibe and attitude. We highly recommend tacos de birria con queso. Some of the Best tacos we've ever had. The flavors in this are wonderful. Omg I loved this place. The tacos, nachos and burritos at Taco Baja Republic that we ordered were to die for.. and it's so filling.. And the Burger Mania right next to it is amazing also.. the burger was so tasty and the fries were hot and crispy yum! Amazing food, great customer service at both location and the atmosphere was really relaxing.

This hidden taco truck is a local gem. Taco Baja Republic seems to have a loyal following--we dined on a Sunday afternoon and there were plenty of people who were eating in their seating area, as well as taking their food to go. We got their birria tacos with and without cheese! Apparently, they also do this dish with ramen in their consommé! I gotta say, I was so happy to find this out in Bird Rd. since I'm not familiar with any similar offerings in this area. Our order was prepared quickly and to perfection. Their guacamole reminds me of Mexican food back in Texas. As a Texas transplant, I 100% approve.

Can't say I was very impressed by this place. My boyfriend and I were craving tacos when we decided to try a place we pass often but have never eaten at. I'm usually a huge fan of food trucks because the food is so delicious but this one left much to be desired. I ordered birria tacos, carne asada tacos and the pork nachos. The birria tacos were pretty good. Nothing out of this world but definitely good. I loved that this place really wasn't skimpy on the meat. The carne asada tacos were just OK. I was waiting for an explosion of flavor especially since carne asada is usually such a delicious tasting meat and the tacos had plenty of cilantro and onions. There was no explosion. On the bright side, we had an order of loaded pork nachos and I'm the queen of nacho eating...terrible. I can't tell you what it was about the nachos that I didn't like but something had a horrible flavor. I couldn't figure out if it was the pork or the beans or what but something tasted a little burnt and not so great. I usually devour nachos and actually ended up throwing these out. I was so sad that this place didn't hit the spot ...not even remotely.

This is not the best photo, plus I already took a bite out of my taco! LOL. I found this place from TikTok and I live about 15 mins away so I decided to try. First of all, the service was exceptional. The ladies I spoke with were extremely nice and friendly. I was a bit skeptical on coming here due to the previous review but I am so glad I did come. The red tacos were so yummy!!! The best I've had yet. Normally, from other places, I would have to add seasoning; but these were so good just the way they were. I did add cheese to them as well. My s.o got the chicken tacos "pollo al carbon" I believe is it's name. I didn't get a chance to taste them as he devoured them in less than 3 mins. I will definitely be returning. So happy I was introduced to this!

Visited with a friend who insisted we give it a shot (she saw an awesome review on TikTok). Ordered the Red Tacos, which are supposed to be one of their best entree taco platters, per TikTok. It arrived with a cup of what seemed like oil and spices. Also ordered the Pollo Tacos and a nacho platter topped with chicken. The nachos were good, but not great. The cheese was delicious, but overall the chips were soft, not crunchy. Was disappointed by the lack of flavor in the Red Tacos -- the meat was dry and the oil, which was meant for dipping, was almost flavorless. Overall, moderately satisfied, but probably wouldn't take a friend there or go on a date. In terms of COVID sanitation, they had plenty of hand sanitizer and spaced (albeit limited) outdoor seating.

Loved the pastor burrito and the taco birria were delicious. We've been there almost every Tuesday, my friends come with me when we go and now if we can't make it on Tuesdays we go on Wednesday or Thursday but we go every week The best in town!

We found this place on tiktok awhile back and have been wanting to give it a try for a minute now. My friend and I were staaaarving so when we saw the food finally arrive, our mouths were watering. To our disappointment, it looked better than it tasted. Definitely authentic birria tacos but went a little overboard with the cheese. Flavors weren't as strong as I expected. Same goes for the ramen, it was just a little dull. I had to drown in with salsa verde to get any sorta flavor. Prices were a little pricey too. We got 6 birria tacos and the ramen noodles and paid $40

Giving this place 5 stars because from the moment we made our order over the phone, service was great. I could see great communication between the staff which makes busy nights run quicker as a team. Now for the best part the tacos birria with the cheese was what my husband and I ordered and it was DELICIOUS! The salsa roja that they have, well I can see why it was almost gone, very good. Also, I thought it was pretty cool that they had a guava Jarrito, it was definitely Miami appropriate for sure !! Will definitely come back!

I had high expectations from photos and videos I saw online only to be severely disappointed by the birria tacos. I've had birria before from several places and at home and this was just shredded beef and beef stock. Worst "birria" I've ever had.

Nachos were ok. Don't waste your time with these " Birria" Tacos. Bland, brown broth. Absolutely flavorless and that goes for the beef in the tacos as well. The Cashier didn't understand whether you said "la crema, crema blanco or sour cream" save yourself the headache.

Our family was vacationing in the Keys and we specifically drove here (1.5 hour trip) to try the red tacos. Absolutely THE BEST we have ever had! The service was excellent, the workers were friendly, and the food was ready very quickly. It came out piping hot and with generous portions. The guacamole was excellent and the rice and beans were top notch. I felt like their passion for their food was tasted in every bite. I told the owner/employees that we have eaten all over the world and could not believe that one of the best meals we have EVER had came from a food truck in Miami. We even got two orders to go! Give this place a try! You won't be disappointed!

Tacos didn't have much flavor. drove very far for this, I got there at 9:30pm and the girls told me I couldn't sit to eat. Since they were picking up. Had to eat in my small car and the tacos were soso.

The tacos had good flavor but I have had better. The wait was a bit long and the parking was horrible. The birria was our favorite.
