Came here with my parents for the first time. It was fantastic. We each really enjoyed our drinks. The mango margarita was to die for. All of the tacos we tried were delicious. I especially liked the Al Pastor Taco. Our server Sofia was so sweet and attentive to us. We will definitely be back soon!

This is my to go to place for Mexican food. The vegetarian Tamale is a must try delicious!! The lengua and barbacoa tacos were not what I was expecting however it’s better than nothing. Looking forward to trying other items on their menu. Check them out

Taco Bamba has delicious food (Tacos & more), we'll prepared, and with great service. Their variety is broad, but well-managed. These are the best Tacos I've had on the East Coast. My favorite are their Tacos El Pastor. If you ask for it "dirty" you get their special sauce w/ flour tortillas. I prefer corn tortillas, but love their sauce. Check out their menu on their website - you'll find something that draws you there!

Taco Bamba servicing you the heat with the fire atmosphere and the fire staff. Kevin helped me Reccomended the El Gingo, Small Biggie Burger, I got the taco bamba and the El Diablo. He let me know it was going to be hot. I got the salsas to try and a horchata and man all is great. Went to bathroom smelled nice. The pepper and avocado confused me but ya use either. After that day I kept coming back trying everything in sight. It's fun place and the food so good. What ever your getting is going to be a gift and an experience. Try there breakfast. If you have boring breakfast this place will change things. I wish I could give them more than 5 stars for the food. People that cook seem very consistent with what they make. I think if you come in the morning you won't regret it.

Did y’all get a new chef or something? It seems whoever is new to cooking the tacos is afraid of flavor. The carne asada is, quite literally, flavorless. I’ve been coming here for years and normally the tacos are delicious. But recently, the steak as tasted like nothing at all and been utterly disappointing.

I just moved in the area and got recommended this taco place. Stopped by and it smelled pretty good! Ordered a few traditional and more speciality tacos. They were super friendly and helpful. They have their own little salsa bar to pick and choose which flavors you want. The tacos were great!! Tacos were fresh and had lots of flavor and meat. Their queso was good too. Definitely recommend stopping by if you’re in the area and wanna eat tacos.

Loved the tacos, better than most places in LA! The salsas are delicious and unique. The tacos, especially spicy pollo, were delicious. The bowl was healthy and had a lot of tender steak. Not to mention the health benefits. What I didn’t like were the tamales, very bland and mushy. The elotes and churros were okay! Horchata was very good as well!

Love this place, food ,drinks!! Service by Sophie was amazing, very attentive her attention was impressive great job sophie !! The only problem last night was the manager she’s is kind of rude my friend and I decided to have a drink at taco bamba we stay there for. Couple hours during that time I never see her smile or say hi to any costumer she clean our table and we still eating our guacamole so? I talked to one of the cashier and explain what happens and she brought up a guacamole for us and apologize to us!! The manager LEIDY NEVER SAY ANYTHING TO US

Um 10/10 recommend. Taco Bamba hits every single time. We make an effort to try a different taco every time and have yet to find one we don't like. Service is good, everyone is so friendly. There is seating inside and outside. I just tried the seasonal frozen marg and was surprised by how tasty it is. Also, I would literally drink the salsa--each one is amazing--I recommend getting a side of chips and pouring your own free salsa sides. Three tacos and the marg was around $27.

It's a solid 4.5!! SO many GF options! Fresh produce / fresh corn tortillas/ and food cooked to order. A little less salt in all the dishes we ordered and it would have been DELISH! We had the soup, steak tacos, salmon and quinoa salad, chips and quad, plus tried all their sauces. Truly delicious and we'll be back for it all. The STAFF ARE GEMS!!!!!! READ THIS- I asked the cashier if she thought the bathrooms were clean as they had a huge lunch rush, and she said let me go check. She THEN goes and gets gloves / bucket / mop / sanitizer and CLEANED THE WHOLE BATHROOM !! I mean come on!! Also- I LOVED the kitchen cooks had hairnets and gloves, just makes a huge difference ! The music could be a TAD lower but perhaps they dont want folks lingering which I understand :) We'll be back.

I stopped in while visiting Ballston for work. I had the Taco Bamba, One night in Bangkok, and a birria taco dirty style. All were delicious. Great margaritas as well. Really great place. Super helpful staff. In today's world the prices are incredibly reasonable. I highly recommend.

This place is SO GOOD and this is coming from a Latina harsh Mexican food critic. I was pleasantly surprised. It was near my hotel and walking distance. I stopped by twice during my stay. Great customer service, excellent food, quick wait time for meals. I highly recommend giving it a try.

Small counter service Mexican spot with a large selection of both classic and unique options. The menu is primarily comprised of different types of tacos, but they also have a few other dishes + drinks. Also have breakfast options, and they offer a free cup of coffee when you order food. Have a small "salsa bar" with a few different salsas (with varying levels of heat) that you can try out My GF and I each got a few different tacos + chips & guac. Both the guac + the mild salsa that we got from the salsa bar were both delicious. The tacos were also delicious, but they were pretty spicy

Nice service. Decent tacos but all of them are extremely salty. The Al Pastor is not real Al pastor so a bit of false advertising. Same with the chicharron. Safe to say these are gringo tacos. With all the other taco options in the area, taco bamba does not stand out from the bunch.

Delicious breakfast tacos!! I got the OG breakfast taco and Migas taco. The OG was definitely more chorizo heavy while the migas was more egg heavy. I liked the toppings like pickled red onion on the OG but thought the migas had a better balance of flavors. Great option for a unique breakfast! And the free coffee?! Such a good deal!

We went to taco Bamba me and my wife. The food was great. We had tacos of Carne Asada three each. They were delightfully good taste every little morsel inside nice experience. When we ordered, we were waiting the cashier brought the tacos to the table. That was really nice. Showed a lot of professionalism.

I was randomly in town for a dog adoption event and wanted to grab something to eat. Looked on Yelp, and came across this place. The food was delicious! I had a taco bamba and the Jeffrey. So full of flavor and I actually couldn't finish (the Jeffrey...it was huge!) The other person I was with got the choriqueso torta...the bread was perfectly crispy/toasty and the fillings were perfectly seasoned. I also had an horchata and it was amazingly cinnamon-y. It was pretty quick to get our food after ordering at the counter. Lastly, I loved the ambiance. Very good music that they had playing...a mix of pop, r&b, and rock.

Food delish - the salad with a ton of ingredients has some garlic scoop in it that is to die for. Chips and queso is also really good, and cheap, too. Just some tips though: they are busy so check your order for mistakes. I've had a few. Make sure to order your cream fresh ahead of time, it costs $. I like this spot for quick, easy, Mexican food!

Try the carne asada quesadilla -- so yummy! The Ballston location has a fun aesthetic, although there's not a ton of seating unless you're willing to sit outside. I've done pick up orders before, and the wait can be a little long. So yummy though!

The Super Torta deserves its own post at Taco Bamba. It's really amazing how they put a billion different flavors that somehow mesh altogether. Is it worth it? Definitely. But disclaimer: I'd probably recommend splitting the Torta with someone else so that you have room for something else. Also a pro tip is to have a bunch of different salsas on the side so that you can mix and match and experiment with what this humongous burrito/sandwich has to offer. last pro tip is to order in advance so that you can pick it up right away and eat at the counter (perhaps with a cold beer to wash it all down)

Taco Bamba has a large selection of both tacos and breakfast items. I got the Chilaquiles and I liked how it came with both rice and refried beans on the side. The Chilaquiles were really tasty and I enjoyed them a lot. Together it was a complete meal and kept you full at a budget friendly price. The restaurant is also really nice with a large selection of sauces and hot sauces to add to your meal. Overall, I really enjoyed my meal and would recommend if you're in the Ballston area!

I came for their $5 Happy Hour promo on a weekday. The sangria is a bit strong on the alcoholic content but is still sweet and drinkable. I took off a star because their Happy Hour menu had only one food item, The Jeffrey, yet when I asked for it they said it wasn't available. Not sure why they'd advertise something they don't have and the restaurant wasn't crowded either so it's not like they ran out of it.

I ordered the shrimp tacos hardly any shrimp or other contents. Very disappointed. Is it too much to ask to get my money's worth?

Creative and unique menu choices. I tried the Taco Bamba and the Gringo both were delicious. I did a pickup order and their service was fast, they had indoor and outdoor dining both are a good atmosphere

One of my favorite taco chains. Have never had a bad taco, fairly authentic style (for a chain) along with creative options and multiple salsas which are all tasty. Usually I get traditional tacos (chicken, chorizo, steak, shrimp) but lately I have been delving into their specials (tacos nuestros) -- the Taco Bamba, Fun's Over, and El Pollo Rico are bombs of flavor. I love an authentic taqueria, but if I need to fill a quick taco craving this is my go-to.

Taco Bamba was a pleasant surprise! I love their salsa bar. They have a variety of tacos (including breakfast tacos that are available all day!) We got the guac and chips too and they were delicious!

I was super impressed by this place! I'm new to the area and incredibly spoiled by the plethora of Mexican food options in Philly, so I was excited to get this recommendation from a friend. I can proudly say that the food is very VERY good and gives off pretty authentic vibes, especially for the price point. We all know that Arlington isn't cheap, and the food quality ebbs and flows between establishments. Taco Bamba, at least this one, is definitely worth the hype! I got a shrimp taco and 2 al pastor, and they were honestly everything I was hoping for. The shrimp was well seasoned and cooked to perfection, and the al pastor had a deep flavor profile that indicated the meat in fact marinated before being cooked (you can't always guarantee that!). The housemade aguas frescas were impressive, especially the horchata. The speed on a Saturday evening was the cherry on top. Definitely recommend coming by if you're in the neighborhood; maybe just don't expect a seat and make a plan B just in case the house is full :)

The quality has really gone down. A restaurant I used to love. Hopefully they can get back on track. All the dishes I've gotten the last three orders have been so salty as to be practically inedible. Some I threw away. It's very sad as this was one of my favorite restaurants!

Wow! Super great place. We had this delivered for lunch to the office and it was excellent. In my opinion, Mexican sometimes leaves you feeling kind of heavy and sluggish but this was super light! I had the taco salad and it was excellent and huge portions. Would recommend!

This weekend is cinco de mayo so I was in the mood for some tacos. I ordered the birria tacos and chips and queso from here via DoorDash. It was really good! The consume was very flavorful and a great combination with the tacos. The beef in the tacos was very succulent and tender, which I highly enjoyed. I didn't experience the restaurant indoors so I can't comment on the service or ambiance. But I highly recommend them.

Been here a few times. Tacos itself is decent. Cost was about $8-9 for 2 tacos. You order at the register and seat yourself. They have a mini bar inside. Still haven't found a taqueria place that is as good as California. This location is a little small, but they have seating outside as well. Overall, ok.

Everytime we order Taco Bamba we are NEVER disappointed. Always fresh. & holy cow those bamba fries are a GAME CHANGER!!

For the vibe and menu possibilities we're already excited to go back. And now after the Dirty Carne Asada I'm ready to try more. I'm also very interested in trying out their breakfast menu. What we got: Carne Asada (dirty style) - 5* the meat was so juicy and I HIGHLY recommend getting the dirty style, it just elevated the whole taco. Honestly, having tried this one before the others set the bar high and the other tacos could not meet it. El Diablo - 3.5-4* we got our tacos to go and I bet I would've enjoyed this one a bit fresher. One Night in Bangkok - 3.5* I loved the taste of the shrimp, but after the carne asada is fell flat in flavor. Carnitas - 3* meh. An average taco, nothing special.

The tacos here were really good and fresh. The carne asada taco was a little dry but still flavorful. The corn in the cup I think would've been better if it wasn't so liquidy. It was a bit sour in my opinion but maybe others would enjoy it. The service is quick and super friendly. This location was a bit small on the inside but they did offer outdoor seating which I didn't do since it was hot that day.

Once again, Taco Bamba was fantastic! It was my first time at this location in Ballston and the tacos were just as great as the other locations. We decided to order some new tacos and Jarritos flavors this time and loved everything! It was my first time trying the El Jeneral (the cabbage taco) and I have to say it was my favorite one of the meal- it was light and refreshing and so so flavorful. I will definitely order it again. I also ordered the Taco Bamba (a classic!) and El Arabe, which had a delicious crispy pita and beautifully seasoned chicken. The Salim Abu Aziz had a mosaic of middle eastern spices and flavors, the El Rico Pollo had delicious peruvian chicken, and the Small Biggie Burger was a very interesting concept and tasted like a burger. Overall a very nice clean location, with fantastic food and outdoor seating that's great for warm weather!

Awesome tacos! An excellent and diverse array off menu items and ingredient combinations done well. I like how each location has a different menu. I've never seen this in a chain before. They have free coffee too! The vibe is super cozy and casual. Very large windows allowing loads of natural light make this a nice lunch break from work. Staff is very friendly too. I have a hearty appetite and 2 tacos always leaves me satisfied and it's only $10. Can't beat this price for the quality. Highly recommended.

Taco Bamba is the best! I have always loved their tacos and diverse menu and this location has really upped the Taco Bamba game! Some of my favorite tacos are the breakfast taco, the Arabe and the Taco Bamba. The standard tacos are also really tasty -- and they're a great size too. The drinks are also really good here. This location is a bit smaller than their original DC location but there are still tables inside and outside. Service is always fast and we love to order takeout from here whenever we are in the area.

Flavorful food and delicious margaritas! The Ballston location has slightly different menu than the others with less vegetarian options (Oh my Squash is so good at Vienna!), but more varieties of margaritas! The Margarita Del Dia and mango juice are a must have! Dirty Hippie Veggie Torta (5/5) - Try it, it's surprisingly very good! Overstuffed sandwich stacked with a galore of veggies - cucumber, roasted bell pepper, avocado, pickled fresno, red onion, lettuce, tomato, and alfalfa sprouts in between a thick roll with a delicious garlic herb cream cheese spread. The ginormous sandwich was very filling and bursting with flavor! The veggie sandwich has a different moniker at the other Taco Bamba locations. Salim Abu Aziz El Khoury (4/5) - Packed with veggies and lots of spices - shawarma spiced zucchini, sumac onion, parsley, burned eggplant, grilled haloumi, and topped with chipotle yogurt and mint. Glad all the ingredients were perfectly tucked inside a pillowy pita, a taco would have broken apart. It was a little hard to dissect the flavors with so many ingredients and the tasty grilled haloumi was buried under all the veggies and sauces. Very filling! Wario Lopez Quesadilla available for a limited time (3/5) - The fried eggplant didn't quite tickle my tastebuds. While the Chihuahua cheese was tasty, it was lumped together on one side and not spread evenly with the fried eggplant. The jalapeno added a spicy kick! By the time I got home 1/2 hour later, it was lukewarm and highly recommend reheating it! Margarita Del Dia (5/5) - The tiny pint size margaritas at only 4.5 ounces really pack a punch! The spring Seasonal Fruit Juice margarita with Mezcal was a great blend of seasonal fruit juices, lime, and agave. The summer Mango Margarita was divine! The fall Woodfire Pineapple Margarita is also quite tasty with wood-fired pineapple juice, lime, and agave. It has a nice subtle pineapple smoky flavor. I'm not a big fan of pineapple, but really enjoyed the cocktail. The margaritas were well worth the trek from McLean! Mercado Margarita (3.5/5) - The sweet strawberry margarita balanced out and masked the El Charro Tequila. Margarita Bambera (3/5) - Not a big fan of the bold lime flavor or the El Charro Tequila. Just wasn't balanced. Aqua Fresco (2/5) - Both the Hibiscus Pineapple and the White Peach were very sickly sweet. They pair really well with gin, perfect mixers! Hibiscus Pineapple didn't have any notes of pineapple and misleading. The Mango juice is really refreshing! Note the Ballston location is really cozy and cramped, there's no indoor seating. There's a small outdoor patio. The Ballston location is really geared towards carry-out (the Vienna location has plenty of seating). Curbside pick-up is confusing and a bit chaotic. There is no designated parking for Taco Bamba. I parked at the &pizza parking lot as instructed by the confirmation email. There was no staff member in sight after I sent an arrival text. I received a follow-up text to park in front of the storefront, which is extremely congested and lined up with multiple cars. I ended up parking at &pizza and walking over, crossing my fingers that my car wouldn't get towed, which it hopefully didn't. I've been back a few times, great spot to grab tacos! Much more authentic than Bar Taco (which is more American fusion).

Fantastic tacos. A lot of varieties, all SUPER flavorful. Taco Bamba is an order-at-the-counter taco place. For eat-in orders, they'll bring the tacos to your table. They have a LOT of tack options, and you can also get quesadillas, the tacos as cups (no tortilla, kinda like a burrito bowl but taco sized), sopes, etc. And they have a tortas and a breakfast menu that looked pretty good. The traditional tacos (al pastor, barbacoa, etc.) are $3.50 a piece and the specialty tacos are $4.50. I got the breakfast taco, which is made with an egg, cheese, chorizo, a bunch of veggies, cream, cotija, guac, etc. It was great, and didn't lean too heavily on the the egg, so while it would be delicious at breakfast, it was just as good for dinner. I got the "One Night in Bangkok," with shrimp, chorizo, mint, basil, chili's, and crispy onions. That one was really fun, with just a little heat from the chilis and fun textures between the tortilla, shrimp, and crispy (and they were crispy) onions. And, I got the al pastor taco. The spices on the meat had a great, bold flavor. The pineapple added some sweetness. Warning: It was a bit spicier than other al pastor tacos I've had... I loved that, but if you don't like spiciness, that particular taco might not be the one for you. I also got their "bamba" margarita, which is their standard lime margarita. It was a good margarita to accompany the tacos... flavorful enough to stand up next to their intense tacos but not so intense that you wouldn't want to drink it alongside them. Bonus: Outside of happy hour specials and such, they're still only $7. The tacos are pretty hearty. Three tacos makes a filling meal. I was hungry and thought about getting a fourth but decided I could order more later. Glad I did because three was enough. And I'm not a delicate eater. They had a great rock playlist going. A lot of 90s rock, a few classics, a tilt to the heavy side. And the service, while order at the counter, was friendly, helpful, and alert. The only downside is that because they have a big take out business and have an order at the counter model, and everyone's filtering through one doorway into a limited space, you might have to navigate some chaos to order or pick up a to go order. A great dinner for my fiancée and I, including a margarita for each of us, came to just under $50 after tax and decent tip. Not a bad value for the neighborhood. And it was a great dinner.

Ok these are some of the best tacos I've had. Their menu offers a wide variety from traditional tacos to creations of their own. Ordering is quick and easy. Wait for your number to be called when your food is ready. We ordered chips and queso, 2 pescado tacos dirty style, one Arabe taco, the el Rico pollo taco, rice and beans, and churros. Out of all the tacos we ordered the arabe taco was my favorite. Hands down one of the best tacos I've had! So flavorful and unique, it was amazing. They have a salsa bar available as well that go from mild to hot. The habanero salsa was good but very spicy so be careful. The el Rico pollo taco was also delicious, and the chicken comes from another local restaurant - El Pollo Rico. Rice and beans were great and chips and queso were satisfying. To finish off our meal we got the churros. So good! My only complaint it I wish there was more chocolate sauce to dip them in, but other than that loved it. I definitely see myself coming back to try more!

After the Taco Bamba in Chinatown closed down, we decided to finally make that short 20 min drive to VA and this location is def worth the drive! All their tacos were delicious but especially their specially ones. Also the churros might have been the best I've ever tasted!

Last night, we finally decided to give Taco Bamba a try, and let me tell you, it was an absolute culinary delight! The flavors, oh the flavors! We sampled the carne asada, pollo al carbon, and the al pastor tacos, and each one was a flavor explosion in our mouths. While all three were delicious, the steak and chicken tacos truly stole the show with their perfectly seasoned and tender meat. Opting for the dirty style on corn tortillas was definitely the way to go, adding an extra layer of zest and texture to each bite. It's safe to say that Taco Bamba has now become our go-to local taco spot, and we cannot wait to return for more mouthwatering tacos and vibrant dining experiences.

So...WOW for sure! I was not ready really and kind of hard pressed for a joyous taco experience. Well, there I've had it to hold me over for a while!

This past Saturday, I had a Taco Bamba and Mexican corn at the Shirlington location. I was very disappointed in both items as well as the service. With the Taco Bamba all I could taste was the hot pepper which was burning my tongue, the carne meat had no taste and one piece was so rubbery that I kept chewy it until I had to put it in a napkin cause it was to chewy. The service was slow, but it was not that busy.

**FREE COFFEE FOR ANY ORDER AS LONG AS IT'S BEFORE NOON** ^ The coffee is a drip using La Colombe Coffee beans. In my opinion, it's a bit weak, but I mean, if it's FREE with my order, then I'll take any breadcrumbs I can get. Also La Colombe beans are top notched. Got two traditional tacos ($3.50 each, which is expensive!) - carne asada and lengua - for lunch which is usually enough for me since I don't eat a lot. Sadly, I have taste aversion towards onions and cilantro, which is like 2 of 3 main ingredients in a taco... so I had to opt out on those. At this point, it's just a corn tortilla and meat - like is that even a taco?? My fault, honestly. At most taco places, I usually add avocado (or God forbid, some cheese and lettuce) to my tacos and pay for the extras, but it didn't seem like Taco Bamba had this option in their online ordering system. They did have something called a "cabbage cup" for 50 cents extra, so I figured maybe I could get one of those and sprinkle the cabbage on top of my tacos. Turns out, "cabbage cup" replaces the corn tortilla. So I had one "taco" that was corn tortilla + meat and another one that was cabbage shell + meat. Sigh, I wish I liked eating onions and cilantro. * Lengua: Soft, tender, and juicy. Lengua is usually my go-to meat for tacos because it's so delicious. At most places, there is an additional charge for lengua, but glad this isn't the case for Taco Bamba. The lengua is almost at normal pricing here. This was the taco with the corn tortilla, so I drizzled some of the salsa verde on top of the meat. Spicy & a bit tangy, so it went well with the seasoning and flavor of the lengua. * Carne asada: This was the taco with the cabbage cup. Was not a very stable shell, so didn't want to risk putting salsa on the meat (unless I wanted a nasty spill everywhere). The asada was seasoned well and super juicy. They also gave a good portion, too! I kinda like the cabbage shell + meat, to be honest. Overall, not bad but it's just expensive for tacos. I hear this is the best taco place in the area and I definitely believe it. Well-seasoned meat and good portion sized per taco. I'd be down to pay $3.50 for a taco here again because the meat is tasty and delicious.

Taco Bamba is hands down one of the best places to get your taco fix in Ballston. The speciality tacos are out of this world and you'll want to try every single one of them. The flavors are unique, bold and they leave your taste buds singing. The location might be small, but don't let that deter you from trying their delicious tacos. In fact, my tip for you is to take your food to go and enjoy it in the nearby park if the weather is nice. This way, you can fully enjoy the deliciousness of the tacos while taking in some fresh air and sunshine. Whether you're in the mood for something spicy or something more on the mild side, Taco Bamba has something for everyone. Check it out!

Absolutely love TB (see my 5 star review of the Falls Church location) and so glad this one popped up in my hood. Like everyone else in Arlington, I couldn't wait to try it. Opening day was crazy so I'm giving them a pass for that day basing my review on the 2 other times I've had it. Both times the wait was longer than advertised when I placed my online order, pickup was chaotic, and the food was hit or miss. Tacos are still a must, but the tinga at this location was just a little tougher than usual. You can skip the chips and guac, as the guac honestly had no flavor. Dubs Jr. loves the El Gringo and Mr. Dubs is still ordering the Al Pastor (pork & pineapple) and Carnitas. Do not sleep on the El Rico Pollo taco though. The crispy potatoes and aji amarillo aioli are superb. This Peruvian chicken inspired taco is amazing and is only available at the Ballston spot. This taco was worth the all the parking hassles. Speaking of those...parking is a hot mess. Yes, it's Ballston and there is very limited parking but the curbside line is always packed with people parking illegally and all over the place. Usually I park further down by the Sweet Leaf on Quincy and just walk up and get my order. There is limited indoor and outdoor seating, so it's best to visit on off-peak times if you want a seat. I have visited almost all other TB locations (Falls Church, Vienna, Downtown DC-no longer open, and Springfield) multiple times and prefer them to this location even though this one is in my neighborhood. Not going to lie though - I probably will roll the dice and give Ballston another shot.

I've lived nearby for a few years and stopped by for lunch the other day. Honestly, I tend to look at this place for convenience so I'm satisfied every time I go as long as the food is ready on time, however, I've never had any concerns with the food quality or timing of my food being made to order. Overall, this is a nice spot on the corner of Wilson and Quincy.

Taco Bamba is one of my favorite taco places in the area. A lot of great and unique taco options but my favorite is the slum dog billionaire. The chipotle pork vindaloo in it really makes it.

Amassing tacos, very nice workers and a fun spot for a margarita. Great spot for takeaway or sitting in. Very trendy names for the tacos and delicious nachos!

Honestly don't get this place. With all the amazing authentic options in the area and people overpay for this place. Had about 5 different tacos from here and all had chewy meat and the flavors all just rolled into a uniform mehw. If you are gonna get chain tacos Torchys is infinitely better.

Well I wasn't expecting a treasure chest of tacos in Alrington, VA but man I have to say. These were spectacular. The Taco Bamba, steak and barbacoa tacos were all delicious. The jamaican beef empanada was superb. Definitely don't overlook this place.

A friend invited me to the newest Taco Bamba location in Ballston. After learning that they had a Happy Hour (4p-6p) of course I was down! Who doesn't need a relief drink after work? For a moment I got excited and tad overwhelmed at the amount of crafted tacos that they had to offer. The combinations of flavors mention on the menu seemed to flow well together in my mind. I ordered: * Birria Taco with Goat- I've had Birria with Goat before...Slapped! This one seemed to have been missing something. Could it have been the consomé? * Taco Bamba- This one was good. It had a nice amount of spice with that chorizo. * And a Classic. The Chicken Tinga. * My friend had the Funs Over & the Jamaican Patty Empeñada. She didn't necessarily see the hype in the Patty. However, loved the Tacos! My honest opinion? ...I'm not going to say that it was horrible because it wasn't but I think it was the tortillas that were throwing me off. Maybe I should've thrown some salsa on there but they just seemed a little dry [yes, I'm aware that these were corn tortillas & what this means] in comparison to the amount of toppings that were happening with the tacos. I'd still give them another chance though! Please Remember to drink Responsibly.

Kicking off the new year with good vibes and good food (in mah belly)! I'm one of those that has been cooking and baking a storm since the pandemic, but when my baby asked for tacos, here is where we happened to land on a weekday lunch. A quesadilla for her, 3 tacos for me, and some seriously loaded fries for the both of us. The generously gracious cashier gentleman not only was patient with my questions, but also got my baby wanting an Aqua Fresca. Everything was stellar, but my absolute favorites were the spicy shroom taco and their Bamba fries; for my baby it was def her blood orange & strawberry Aqua Fresca (not going to lie, they did stellar with this one and it didn't taste like straight up sugar, but more juice to sugar ratio). We sat in the car and just smiled as we ate, but for me, perhaps it was more like a hungry hippo carnivorously devouring its prey as I was Licking my fingers of the remnants of the taco juice. You Cannot make this stuff at home. Thank you Taco Bamba for a wonderful mommy-daughter date!
