Simply delicious of all the items we have ever ordered! The menu can be a bit intimidating since it’s really long with many creative flavors that we have never tried in any other place. Just order a bunch of their creative taco flavors & you won’t be disappointed!

Patrick Min

Google
I tried Taco Bamba at this Falls Church location for the first time, and the food was good. The Lengua De Res Taco was ok, and the Shrimp Quesadilla had a perfect balance of flavors from the shrimp and cheese. In terms of service, it's a self-service restaurant. You pay, receive a number, and wait to be called when your order is ready. The restaurant felt smaller than I expected. The seating inside faced the wall or the kitchen, and the music was very loud. Outdoor seating is available.

David Mikhail

Google
If you're looking for mind-blowing tacos, Taco Bamba is the spot! Their shrimp and fish tacos are on another level – perfectly cooked, fresh, and bursting with flavor. Their special sauces were unreal! Incredible music, and the service is top-notch. Taco Bamba will not disappoint. I’ll definitely be coming back for more!

Gord R.

Google
One of the best taco chains in the DMV area. Their tacos are extremely fresh and reasonably priced ($3-$5 per taco)...only downside is music can be extremely loud inside so consider eating outside or to-go. The camaron (shrimp) tacos and queso and chips were our favorite!

Marcia Tutt

Google
Finally, someone got it right! In the area on business, ordered from this place via Door Dash, and they did not disappoint. The food was flavorful, and the churros w caramel sauce? Probably the best I’ve had! If you’re in the Falls Church area, give them a try, you won’t be disappointed 😀😀!!

First visit. Drive in front of Subway and go straight. We had breakfast tocos and the Chilaquiles. They were very pleasing. The music was too loud for us to eat inside . There was plenty of space outside. Free coffee with meal.

Google
At the spot where Taco Bamba began, They perfected the taco game plan. Each bite is supreme, A true foodie’s dream, And the hype’s been well-earned since it ran. In DC, it’s hailed as the best, A cut above all of the rest. Each flavor’s on point, Your taste buds anoint, This taco spot’s clearly been blessed!

Unfortunately big fat mexico was too spicy for my 11 yo kid to eat. One of my tacos was spicy too. Barbacoa taco didn't taste like beef...more like lamb. Other than that It was tasty. My husband wants to come back here again. Visited in October.

Yelp
Damn it's Tenzin back with another review and this time we have the local g spot aka that store that keeps you coming back for more Taco Bamba. Listen is the tacos overpriced? Maybe. Are they good? Maybe. Are they AMAZING when your hungry asf? Yes. That's the type of restaurant your dealing with here, at its core it's really not that good but in that specific scenario where your hungry and looking for something to scarf down while watching master chef like the slob you know you are then this store is for you. And for all you gym bros coming at me talking bout some " i'm not a slob" bro go look at your room it's boring asf no wonder she left you. All in all a great restaurant and honestly a good experience it does take a little long sometimes to get your food but it's worth it when your hungry and craving mexican tacos.

Mike R.

Yelp
I want to love this place. The tacos are quite delicious. Also I like their creative food choices. This is a recommended spot, yet a few things detract from my enjoyment here. First off good tacos, with a number of combinations. I think it's a good value for the quality. Employees are excellent. Parking here causes heartburn. Also the crowds in here fill the small restaurant. It's super loud and overstimulating, for someone who wants to decrease stress while getting a meal. To those who enjoy an environment like that, you'll really love it. It's nothing personal against Taco Bamba, as I admire their food and kind employees. It's just that the beltway and other areas are nuts, and there's no reprieve from the madness here, except for the booze perhaps.

Kyla G.

Yelp
Great experience my tacos and corn was amazing. The mango agua fresca was fresh and tasty. I appreciated the service given they were informative and made sure to keep the seating area clean. I would absolutely return because everything was tasty especially the steak.

Victoria P.

Yelp
This place always gets it right. Inside the restaurant itself is usually pretty busy but has good vibes. The food is always hot and delicious even when ordering to-go. Very flavorful. Wet my beako taco is the best. The service is great, they always repeat back my order to make sure it's correct.

Andrew F.

Yelp
I went to Taco Bamba with friends before an event on campus, it was packed! There is not much seating inside be aware of that otherwise service was good, food was delicious. I got the biggest item on the menu which was a bizarre kind of burrito sandwich with a whole lot of meats and a half an avocado. Comparing that thing for $19 vs an underwhelming Chipotle burrito at $15 which its a heck of a bargain! Lots of protein, not too much filler. My only "beef" was that it was super messy and they didn't fully cut through the bun so it was impossible to eat neatly. Not a date night choice glad I was out with buddies

Yelp
The tacos and corn are pretty good. The spot is small and an seems authentic. The mild salsa verde was great. It wasn't very busy and they make the food pretty fast. I would recommend.

Fairouz O.

Yelp
The legend of this place goes that a guy was selling it out of his backyard in Pimmit Hills until he got shut down for not having a vendor's permit so he opened a store. This place is on the Plaza behind the Subway bordering the Idylwood shops -just where the hill starts to get steep up Los Pueblos. Churros are kinda bland, but it's a lively place to order in. Coke is strong, gringo tacos were enjoyable for every bite, and you can still taste the oil the chips are cooked in on your tongue! I love Taco Bamba!

Doug B.

Yelp
Really good chain restaurant option. I've been to the Fairfax one, but first time here. I had the Carne Asada (seared beef) and Tinga (braised chicken) tacos. I also had the guacamole and chips. The tacos were good, but missed some greens on it. Good flavors, I added some guacamole to each bite. Very good. Really enjoyed the guac. Very well made. Could be a bit spicier but added some zing from the salsa bar. **Really fun option with their salsa bar. This dresses up any meal and bite. They have to-go cups so you can take it with you. Very limited seating outdoors. Bar-like seating indoors. I think this is a popular to-go place. Definitely consider them if you are looking for a quick, tasty bite.

AJ G.

Yelp
Taco Bamba is my go-to taco shop when I'm in the DC area. This was my first time at the Falls Church location. It's really small- only counter seating- and the biggest downside is there's no bar. They were playing awesome classic rock, but it was very loud so don't come here if you want to have a conversation with someone. The man who took my order (Sandro?) was super nice and personable. The nachos were the best I've had in the area.

Nancy H.

Yelp
Taco Bamba is a great casual spot to grab some quick tacos. They have a huge menu with traditional and special taco flavors. Do note, they pride themselves on only serving tacos, you won't find burritos here. Most of the tacos here range from $4-5. The meat in my tacos were seasoned generously and there's 4 premade salsas available to choose from. I also appreciated how they had lots of hot sauces out to use. My favorite was probably the Taco Bamba which is one of their most popular. I love the crispy bits of quac? on top, thought it added a nice texture.

Owen W.

Yelp
Definitely a winner, with so many flavor profiles to choose from. The classics are done well, and the new fangled work. Try it the next time you next your taco fix

Farhat K.

Yelp
Probably my favorite taco chain in the dmv. Solid tacos and appetizers and nachos. We came to the falls church location during the bar crawl week and we're blown away by the mango drink they had. The steak nachos were also solid. I got shrimp tacos, chicken tacos, and also chicken rings tacos. All were perfect. Can't wait to go back and try some more.

Hyrum Q.

Yelp
Taco bamba was very good. While the floor was dirty (and randomly dented?) they had good music and the churros with Dulce de leche sauce were AMAZING.

Shelly J.

Yelp
A great Taco chain, Ive been to other locations, though this one is my favorite. Great service. Food and flavor is on point. Employees are nice. Restaurant is spacious and clean. I love their churros. If Im in the area, Ill def visit again.

Louis A.

Yelp
Coworkers including one a taco lover from Los Angeles raved about this place. I finally was able to go and he was right. Delicious tacos and filling with just two orders.

Jed R.

Yelp
This might be the best bang for your buck taco spot in the DMV. It's like $4-5 for a single taco. In this environment and economy, we take those. I got a pescado and a tinga with a mango juice. Solid all around, I'd recommend ordering online. Ambiance is great, service is great. Outdoor seating and some barstools inside. Self-serve water when you get a little thirsty yanno

Tim K.

Yelp
I don't even understand how you can give less than a 5 to Taco Bamba. Its so got dayum good. Is it the best taqueria in the world, nah, but it's still muy deliiscioso Get your taco's dirty style

Anna K.

Yelp
Super friendly staff, interesting taco flavor combinations and plenty of seating inside and out. They have a bar area where you can grab a drink and order food. We opted to wait on line and then sat outside. The nachos were really good and we tried also four different tacos- fav was the Fernando and Taco Bamba.

Neli R.

Yelp
I ordered the birria tacos and they were delightful! As an appetizer I has the corn on the cob and it was sooo good . I could only eat 1 taco because they were loaded. My husband is vegetarian and he had the mushroom taco and squash taco and he said they were so good. He also had a side of pinto beans and rice which was also yummy!

Chuck C.

Yelp
Great food, easy to order online. Very good selection of Tacos and spice levels. Every time we visit our children in Falls Church we order from them. I wish there was a Taco Bamba near us in New Jersey. Enjoy, Chuck

Ingrid K.

Yelp
The best tacos in Northern Virginia. My favorite, hands down. I especially love their salsa bar. Spice levels for anyone.

Ashley C.

Yelp
I can't get enough of Taco Bamba. Their signature Taco Bamba is amazing, the birria taco and carne asada are always my go to. The rice and bean bowl is great too and even better as a leftover. Their red salsa tamale is amazing as well. Everything is simple yet authentically delicious and flavorful. I usually order take out from this particular spot and the order is always accurate and ready on time.

Alicia R.

Yelp
Good Portions! The tacos were delicious they had a bunch of meat and toppings to complement the flavor. Also tried the fries which were super loaded..they included steak, guacamole, jalapeños, & more. You will definitely get your moneys worth here. They did forget out street corn so I had to remove 1 star and also keep note that additional sauces are extra $1-$2. Chips were thin which I prefer so they were delicious!!

Steve N.

Yelp
Taco Bamba is hands-down the best taco shop in NoVA. Being from Texas, it's hard to find good tacos on the east coast. District Taco used to be my go-to but after getting my mind blown by TB, I haven't been back to DT. The salsa verde they have is SO good that if I have any left over (a big "if"), I'll shoot 'it like it's a tequila shot. The arabe (tacos nuestros) is definitely my favorite. Their tortas are legit as well as the quesadilla, if that's your thing. Great service... I always get take-out and it's always ready when I arrive. Highly recommend.

Banjot C.

Yelp
The best tacos ever! It's sometimes crowded and the service is reasonable but it's the food that will bring you back. The tortas and nuestros tacos are just awesome.

Evan L.

Yelp
Came to this Taco Bamba location after going to the one in Fairfax (on Braddock), and I was impressed with how consistent the tacos are across locations. Got the Carne Asada and Al Pastor tacos, which were really good- the flavor was on point. One thing I really like about Taco Bamba is that each location has tacos that are unique to that particular location. Today I tried the Black Pearl taco, which came with crispy grouper, coleslaw, ink aioli, avocado, pickled onion, and scallions. The grouper was cooked well and was crispy, but I personally didn't think the taco had much flavor as a whole, so I probably won't be getting that one next time, but I still appreciate that each location offers recipes that are unique. Overall, you can never go wrong with Taco Bamba.

Drejaney T.

Yelp
Cameron Tacos are to die for I haven't had shrimp tacos better than that and I'm from Southern California !! Asada & carnitas tacos are very flavorful with quality meat !! I love how every taco has a different salsa. If you're looking for flavor go to taco BAMBA !!

Mackenzie C.

Yelp
Food here is great and the staff was friendly and helpful. All of the food is made fresh and their selection of drinks is large too- alcoholic and non alcoholic. They have a salsa bar that you can pick from and put in to go containers if your eating at home.

Sean S.

Yelp
Best taco I've had in a while. Staff was nice and food came out quick. Good vibes inside.

Gurleen M.

Yelp
Taco Bamba is a taco lover's paradise! This place knows how to craft mouthwatering, authentic Mexican tacos that never disappoint. From the first bite, it's clear that Taco Bamba is all about flavor. The variety of tacos they offer is impressive, catering to all tastes. Whether you're into traditional al pastor, spicy chorizo, or adventurous combinations, you'll find something to satisfy your cravings. What sets Taco Bamba apart is the quality of their ingredients. The meats are tender and seasoned to perfection, and the tortillas are fresh and delicious. The toppings and salsas add an extra layer of flavor, making every taco a delightful explosion of taste. The ambiance is casual and inviting, making it a great spot for a quick, satisfying meal. The service is friendly and efficient, ensuring you get your tacos just the way you like them. Taco Bamba has become my go-to spot for a taco fix. It's a place where you can enjoy a satisfying, flavorful meal without breaking the bank. Whether you're dining in or grabbing a quick takeout, Taco Bamba is a must-visit for any taco enthusiast. It's an easy five-star rating from me!

Adrian B.

Yelp
This is my favorite place in the DMV for tacos. There's not much seating at this location, but their food travels well. The Taco Bamba taco is my favorite. It has asada, bamba chorizo, guacamole, pickled onion, pickled chile, cotija, cilantro, and chicharron. The Mexican grilled corn on the cob is delicious as well. The chips are hit or miss, but the salsas are on point, as is the guacamole. The location sizes are not consistent across the chain and this one, the original location, is on the smaller side. The Springfield location has more expansive seating and a full service bar. You can't go wrong here.

Shawn B.

Yelp
The tacos at this establishment was very flavorful. I ordered 3 tacos (dirty style) along with corn. They have a lot of options to choose from so you should have an idea of what kind of meat you are looking to consume. Seating inside is pretty limited but there is outdoor seating with heaters. The cashier was pretty nice when taking my order and provided some recommendations. I would definitely be back.

Nick And Cat G.

Yelp
Taco Bamba sent me an email asking me where I thought they should open new locations. If the goal is to thin the population via mass food poisoning then they should go coast to coast. I have been to many DC area Taco Bamba locations in the last year and there is literally nothing good I can say about any of them anymore. At first I thought it was one or two stores but it really is all of them. I would give them zero stars if I could. The employees are always surly and cop attitude like being employed there is a daily torture. When you order or ask for your "food" they glare at you like you insulted their mama. They often play speed metal at rock concert volume, I can only imagine this is to drown out the suffering inflicted by their jobs. The "food" is terrible, absolutely hopeless. Anything fried is always burnt nearly black and inedible. "Tacos" are always slopped together and either ice cold or smelling of spoiled nastiness. I have tacos in quotes because actual tacos usually contain some sort of protein like steak, chicken, fish, or pork. Not these. The menu says they are supposed to have these ingredients but you usually have to hunt around to find a dime sized piece of gristle in there somewhere. Several times I have gotten a to-go order only to find out that no one bothered to add anything except a tortilla and lettuce. Did I complain? Yes. Did they do anything? No. In short, you shouldn't eat here. Taco Bamba used to be pretty cool a few years ago before the pandemic. Now they scheme on how to take your money and give you nothing in return. If you want rude treatment and food poisoning then come here. Otherwise stay away.

Ashley A.

Yelp
Food was great. Only kinda weird thing was the tortillas were fried together, so you couldn't take them apart, instead of being fried separately and then stacked.

Kimi Z.

Yelp
Taco Bamba is one of my favorite restaurants in the DMV. Every bite of taco is an EXPLOSION of flavor in your mouth and the tacos are so colorful and lively! Every taco place I have been to since trying Taco Bamba has honestly been too bland in comparison and I find myself craving Taco Bamba often. I have tried 95% of their menu over the numerous times I have dined here and so far everything has been delicious. There's probably a special ingredient they sprinkle onto their tacos because I can't even explain why they taste so good. Each Taco Bamba location has a different menu, with creative items that are inspired by the location. Many of the Tacos are a bit spicy so I would recommend letting them know if you prefer no spice. TL;DR: Highly recommend. Your tastebuds deserve this.

Christina M.

Yelp
Taco bamba is a fun after work spot to go to. The tacos are delicious, although they are over priced it is still good. Wait time is long depending on time of day you go. It is hip and busy! Somewhere you can take a causal first date! Great vibes.

Maria C.

Yelp
Delicious! The sope on the breakfast sope is super crispy. There's a long line at lunch and a lot of ppl getting takeout but it moves fast. Seating -- only a few counter stools inside and a half dozen tables outside, so it's mostly good for takeout.

Bri C.

Yelp
They Raised their prices up I was in Florida when they did so i didn't know and when I came here I used to pay 53.79 Now 77.24 For the same thing as a family of 5 but the food was great

Mike T.

Yelp
Excellent food. Great customer experience. Custom margaritas! Anyone saying less; ignore and order with a smile. Great staff. Known market. Vested business

Amy L.

Yelp
The Torta Bamba was huge and definitely worth the money! The tacos were good but a bit dry. They have amazing mild and spicy sauce that you can get on the side.

Dani S.

Yelp
Solid 5! Ordered via Uber Eats Wings Guacamole Red and green tamales A variety of tacos Árbol sala Complimentary salsas came with our order. They were so good we ordered 2 of each bottle to take back to Chicago!

Shawn J.

Yelp
I got food to go, but everything was well packed and tasted great. Try the Jeffrey, it was different but delicious.

Rebecca F.

Yelp
Love Taco Bamba & this is the second time visiting this location. We got a Cubano Torta & chips & salsa to share for lunch. The torta was huge! (that's what she said my Office peeps lol). So glad we shared because half was a generous portion. It was very fresh & packed with ham, shredded pork, & accouterments. I will say that as good as it was it we both found it a bit too salty & we could not finish our halves. The first few bites were subtle but the more you ate, the more it packed a salty punch. The salsa was fresh & delish with a nice little bite to it and the chips were freshly fried. Staff was great and will be back for my usual tacos!

Eric W.

Yelp
After hearing about how good its tacos were and its good reviews on yelp, I decided to try it out and see for myself. Food - Great! Would highly recommend their Taco Bamba (very spicy warning if you decide to eat the peppers), and their carna asada is good too. Service - Good, but you can no longer sit inside, you have to order and go. Parking - Somewhat unreliable, but you can park in the nearby parking lot for the grocery stores Overall, this place is great.

Andrew E.

Yelp
I have gone here many times with my kids. It is very reliable for quick, tasty food. My kids have liked it every time too.

Carol H.

Yelp
The food was delicious and the service was good. The chipotle chicken tacos were very good saw well as the pork tacos.

Cory N.

Yelp
Terrific, craft tacos. Friendly, helpful fast service. Great music playing too! Average price, and totally worth a visit!

Natalie Z.

Yelp
The Pimmit drive location is a big smaller than the Vienna one, but I like the tacos here better (maybe because it's where I first discovered this place). Service is fine, and the tacos are amazing. Favorites are the el Beso and taco Bamba. You can also get free sauce with your tacos, and although I usually like spicy, the flavor of the mild verde salsa is fresh and a great addition to heavier tacos.

Adam C.

Yelp
One of the best taco places around. Great food. Nice environment, good music playing. Alway quick service, though can get busy.
