Absolutely loved my experience at Taco Bamba! Not only is the food incredible—packed with flavor and creativity—but the team is what truly makes this place shine. From the moment I walked in, they welcomed me like family. It was my first visit, but it felt like I’d been coming there for years. Everyone was so sweet, attentive, and genuinely kind. You can tell they take pride in both their food and their service. The energy is upbeat, the vibe is fun, and everything just feels right. I seriously can’t wait to come back and bring more people with me. This place is awesome all the way around. Highly recommend! 🌮🔥💛

This place is amazing and our server, Sofia is outstanding! She is so helpful and accommodating! The food and spicy margaritas are delicious! Order the Pack The Bowl! Wow!! We are so glad that we came!

From the moment we sat down, our server Sofia made sure everything was perfect — warm, attentive, and genuinely friendly. The food? Next level. The chicharrón taco was crispy perfection, the shrimp taco was fresh and flavorful, and the churros were the perfect sweet finish. The drinks were just as impressive — the passion fruit mojito and frozen daiquiri were spot on, and you can never go wrong with an ice-cold Mexican Coke in the bottle. The vibe inside is lively and welcoming, and the team clearly cares about making guests feel at home. THE STEAK TACO IS MY FAVORITE, hands down!! It’s so tender that it just melts in your mouth! The chicken one was ok but the carnita dirty style was AMAZING! I get the same two tacos everyone with that mango juice they sell! It so fresh with natural sugar! They have about four different sauces/salsa to top it off! This is a must try! I wish there was more in the area. I’ve been here about 4 times within 3 weeks! 😂

Food came our very fast!! 💚 VEGETARIAN OPTIONS: I had the Mexican street corn 🌽 and it was so good and filling!! The rice and beans were so so good too.

Super tasty and authentic mexican cuisine. We had the chicken flautas, shrimp and also the chicken traditional tacos. All was excellent including the margarita. Very nice establishment and environment. Must try.

Great spot with tasty food and a lot of options! The variety of tacos are fun and each one that I have tried has been unique with well cooked meat and well seasoned veg. Our server Sophie was super sweet and gave a lot of good recommendations on what to order. The only negative I have is that a lot of the food (chips especially) was very oily.

The food was fresh and deliciously flavored which most taco places lack. The drink selection was like no other learned a lot about different tequilas from the amazing bartender Annabelle . 🥰

Delicious taco spot! This was my first time here, you sit anywhere and then a server comes over to take your order. My server was extremely personable and helped me understand my options and ultimately choose my meal. I went with a fish taco, which was grouper, and a "dirty" carne asada taco. You can make any taco "dirty" which is adding on extra sauces and flavoring. I of course also had to try the Mexican street corn! After ordering my food, I couldn't say no to a margarita so they made me a special spicy one! The food came out so fast, was piping hot and hot the spot. I would have preferred to know ahead that the corn was on the cob, just because it gets all up in my teeth, but it was worth it. The spot is cute, loads of seats inside or outside, menus on every table and servers who really seem to care.

This is a pretty good taco spot, probably one of the best in Nashville. It has a good design and plenty of seating options (large bar, tables up to 4 I believe, and outdoor seating). All the workers were nice. They have a wide selection of tacos, and even non-taco options, including vegetarian options. They also have an extensive tequila selection. It's clear that they make the tortillas in house as well. Here's what I got: Chips and guacamole: 4/5. Chips were great, good crunch and salty. Guac was okay, made ahead of time and sits in a fridge up front. Birria taco (braised lamb): 3.5/5. Juicy and flavorful. Probably better with toppings. Tinga (chipotle chicken): 3/5. Really flavorful, but a little dry by itself. Carne asada, dirty style: 4.5/5. I substituted the flour tortilla for corn. Really tasty. Well balanced flavors. I just wanted the steak more tender. I would return if I was in the green hills area.

I think 4 stars is a solid rating for Taco Bamba, though there's definitely room for improvement. Their food is absolutely amazing and well-priced for the vibe they're going for. We sat at the bar, so our service was great. One area where they could improve is how they manage guests in the main dining area. The way the restaurant works is that guests would order at the counter, sit down, and then pick up their order when their number was called. The issue was that, as the place got more crowded, the bartenders had to start taking orders at the counter too. This caused confusion, with some guests not paying attention to their numbers being called or picking up the wrong orders, leading to chaos. In my opinion, they need to adjust this process to prevent that. If they do, this place could easily be a 5-star spot!

Second time here - there's so much flavor in every dish. I love the Nashville specialities - each of their locations offer a special city menu and I find that awesome. Love their salsa too, packs a punch! No wait to order and only a few minutes for the food to come out hot and fresh! Parking can be tricky at busy times but there's the Whole Foods garage close by.

I had two classic tacos - grilled fish and chorizo. Both were so tasty! The service was fast, too. Great lunch spot.

Decided to try this place Seinfeld it was so close to the shopping places we went to. So glad we did! We tried the Bamba fries, pickle tickle quesadilla, sharp dressed hombre taco, asada taco, broken holas taco, shrimpy b taco, & Al pastor taco. We also tried the mango & blood orange margaritas. Everything was as so delicious!!! The food was very flavorful! Margarita tasted good but not strong at all, too much ice. We would definitely come again!!

This place is a must if your in Nashville or Green Hills. The food is incredible and full of flavor. The staff is top notch super friendly and helpful. We will make this a regular spot.

The service was fantastic! The staff member at the counter was incredibly energetic and offered great recommendations from their extensive menu. The food was quite satisfying. Initially, the queso portion seemed small, but it packs a spicy punch. I had the quesadilla which was great, I did shredded chicken and the juice they had it in they needed to broil it a few minutes to take some juice out so the quesadilla is not a soggy mess. Churros were so good but need caramel in a separate cup to make it easier to dip. The establishment offers both a bar and table dining options, as well as takeout. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and I would definitely return!

Very clean and fresh look. Very friendly staff at the bar. Nice outside patio seating with extra-large umbrellas. Tacos were excellent and the margaritas were on point and on the happy hour pricing. The salsa bar was great. Service was good and the food came out fast.

This is my second review of Taco Bamba in Nashville. My first review was stellar feedback due to the service, the food, and the ambience. This review has changed a bit from the first. The food is still, frankly, as good as it could possibly be. Honestly, this is some of the best food that I've had ever! The service however, leaves something to be desired. This review is a call for help! Please help the service be better so we can enjoy the food without the anxiety of knowing there is a chance the service will fall short. First of all, second time we were there we ordered at the counter for take out. 20 minutes later we asked where our food was, and it was determined that it had been ready for a long time, but nobody told us. They made it again and sent us on our way, the food was just as good as always. Please let me reiterate the food has never fallen short! Second time we were there I decided to go shopping because my husband was waiting and waiting and waiting for the check. We sat outside and my guess is somebody was being trained, but the trainer was definitely not wanting to give us a check. She seemed confused about how to wait tables, but she did figure it out, except for the check situation. My husband had to ask somebody else for the check. The next time we were there, that was today, the server was not nice and seemed very upset. We thought she was mad at us for some reason, she was very upset. My husband ordered a Modelo and after being more than halfway through his meal, I went up to ask for the Modelo and I was told it was on his way. It was not on his way because they didn't have it. He finally did get something else, but it took forever. and then the check situation, they do not like giving checks in this place. Again, I went shopping, but he needed to ask somebody else for the check. We have decided that we are no longer going to eat there unless the service changes. We will order takeout. Whoever orchestrated the menu is truly gifted. I really wish the service was even mediocre, that would be better than what it is. If it wasn't for the food, I would give it one star.

This place needs to be tried. The vibe is punk infused with Nashville and Lucha Libre. The Spicy Serrano Marg had just the right heat and tequila. The street corn was amazing as was the Shrimpy B's hot shrimp tacos. The corn tortillas had a sweet flavor. Our server was great but a manager/owner came by and made some amazing recommendations.

This place is pretty rad. I was just in town for business and stumbled upon it. Really good tacos, friendly service, very cool music! It went from alternative to Mexican music in Spanish but it just worked haha! I had the Camaron and Al Pastor tacos, both legit! Pretty good salsa too. I'm already planning my next business trip so I can stop in again

Delicious! It's only been open a week and I have already gone back for more. The ingredients are fresh, the menu is creative, and the atmosphere is fun and positive. For one meal, we sat at the bar and got table service. The bartender was great, and the margaritas were delicious. Another meal, we ate outside. They were pretty good with my alllergies and I definitely found good options for my gluten free dairy free self. The price point is great too... for the quality of the food compared to comparable places, this place cannot be beat.

We just moved here from San Diego. Best tacos we have had since moving here 6 weeks ago. The carne asada for $4.50 is a deal. Try this place. You will be glad you did.

This is somewhat new! Normally my family and I will go to Cheesecake Factory (Franklin), North Italia (Franklin), and Chuy's (Franklin) but we decided to try something new post mall trip. Ambiance/Service: They came out the gate swinging, the service was wonderful. It's an exposed kitchen with industrial details for in-house dining. Please sit and enjoy the food. The Chef, Kitchen Manager, & Bartender were very hands on--I don't know their names to include them but you were amazing. What we ordered: For the food, the menu was extensive, so we were taking Chef's choice. I ordered the Bamba Mac Quesadilla, Blanco's Taco, and Smashville Burger. My uncle ordered the Blanco's Nachoes and Shrimp B Taco. [not pictured but still good] My Nana ordered the All American Chicka Torta [not pictured but still good] Food Breakdown: The Blanco's taco features sweet potatoe frites with White BBQ and a mix of spices and cheeses. It was my favorite. The Smashville Burger is a game changer, I never order crossover food: Tacos as a Burger, pizza as a taco, etc. Taco Bamba did it right with a grilled beef patty base and all the condiments layered on flour tortilla. I will definitely order the Smashville Burger again. The Blanco's nachoes were good, maybe a little more queso but overall the flavor and presentation were phenomenal. IT does have jalapeñoes but you can do a few substitutions. Don't go crazy just try it as is unless dietary. The All American Chicka Torta was a colorful sandwich. It's a VEGGIE Sandwich contrary to the Chicka part. The veggies were cooked to be a tenderness that don't combat the fluffiness of the bread. Takeaway Literally : I recommend this for both Nashville Locals and Tourists who visit the West Nashville Green Hills area. Give this a try if you have visited Condado's Tacos (Franklin) this is a Taco / Mexican Fusion contender. The cost and delivery was worth it.

4.5 - Solid tacos and good combinations of flavors to choose from. Tried the Sharp Dressed Hombre ( brisket taco) very good , very spicy! Portions are good size and worth the money! It's a place your order at counter and they bring the food - overall better than expected!

The best tacos! I ordered the guac and chips which I loved. It is a basic guac but it's delicious. I ordered two tacos and loved them both. The staff is so nice and helpful. The place is fun and up beat. You can park on the street or in one of the free lots around.

Pretty good. Not authentic, but will give you a fix if you need one. The nachos hit the spot and I was surprised at how good the steak/carne was. To go order was packed thoughtfully. I would order again.

Some of the best tacos iv had In a while! The guy at the front (Caleb) walked us through there very extensive menu he gave us some great recommendations. I got the bum bum gai and the birria tacos which were both delicious we also tried the ceviche which was different then I was expecting since it had a coconut milk/cream base instead of just lime juice it was Delicious, flavorful and had such a good mix of seafood. This is definitely my new go to place! I can't wait to come back to try their tortas and traditional tacos! I also want to give Caleb a shout-out it was our first time here and he really took his time to help us through the menu and pick items that we would enjoy. He even came by our table to ask how we were enjoying our foodand chat a bit. It was just really great personal service that just makes you love a place even more.

I have been to 14 of the 16 Taco Bambas, including the original DC location. I have finally made it out of the DMV. The staff in Nashville is awesome. Caleb, Raphael, and Zac were perfect hosts. Their Unique Neustros tacos are very good. The Bum Bum Gai and Sharp Dressed Hombre are outstanding. The Paloma cocktail is perfectly tart. I will hopefully find the Richmond store in January. Tacos are the best.

Sorry to be the naysayer here, but I just had a shrimp taco and a part of a fish taco (fish was so slimy I couldn't finish it). It's Sunday -- may the cook's day off?? The flavor, texture even the tortillas are off. I guess it's back to Nolensville Road for delicious Mexican food. Check out Laura's kitchen. Food is fabulous. Hate that this isn't.

Heard about this place and decided to try it. Wish I had taken pictures because words won't do it justice. The food was amazing. We tried the chipotle chicken quesadilla that was very delicious and cheesy. Tried some of the street tacos and they were the best we've had. The flavors were spot on from the not too spicy sauces to the flavors of the meat to the vegetables that were cooked in the tacos. Chips and queso were good but very thick. If you are near the Green Hills area, stop by and give them a try!

Wowowow..... Truly one of the best meals I've had in Nashville in a while. This is the 2nd time I've been here, we had the "load the bowl" salad with Barbacoas, a Barbacoas quesadilla, chips & queso. The queso was better than pretty much anywhere I can think of around town (besides superica and Bakersfield's queso fundido of course)..... similar to Torchy's and contending with Taqueria del Sol. The salad was actually a flavor explosion with many fresh ingredients, and I love that it had a bit of cabbage instead of just mixed greens. As a sodium lover, though, there was so much going on that it was a bit salty. The quesadilla was cheese-pull city, hot, and delicious. There's nothing special about the ambiance, but it's a great fast-casual place to grab a top notch meal. Big fan over here clearly! I'll be back to try the chilaquiles next. Please don't go anywhere TB!

Love this place! Quick, fresh and absolutely delicious tacos in the Green Hills area. The service was spot on. Both the server and bartender were extremely friendly and wonderfully attentive.

The bamba tacos were extremely good but unfortunately the service was atrocious. It started out great but after our drink order was taken at the bar all of the bar backs and bartenders completely ignored us. We had to struggle to flag someone down for 30 min at the bar just to put our food order in, meanwhile everyone around us at the bar was getting serviced properly. They also brought our food out and didn't give utensils and before I could ask for a fork the guy disappeared and I was being ignored. I literally had to walk to the order end of the bar just to ask for a fork which they were all sitting down at that end. Instead of hand me one for the container of forks sitting next to the straws the bar back goes and ask the back if there are any forks, which was sus as heck.

THE GOOD * both the queso and the chips were delicious * margarita was amazing - very fresh * price point is great - appetizer, a cocktail and a taco all for $30 grand total including tip. At other similar places, this could easily be $60. THE BAD * menu way too large and overwhelming, they need to narrow it down to fewer great items * chips are served in a paper bag? like why? just unnecessary. they're trying to be cute I guess. * too bright in the restaurant, could use some more mood lighting. like being in a doctor's office. * Dirty place setting at the bar, never cleaned it or poured me a new water. the previous patron's water sat in front of me the whole time. * kitchen was playing extremely loud music, and it interfered with the restaurant music * never received silverware, and the napkins are just in a napkin dispenser at the bar like you're in a cafeteria * the queso was served in a plastic to-go container, and the rice and beans were shoved into a to-go container as well * Slow service, but I think the bartender was new. There was another bartender who did a fantastic job who was helping her (young white dude in a backwards hat - he was great) * my taco was... fine. there was too much going on (it was trying too hard), but the flavor was there.

SO GOOD!!!! Great taste, great menu, great value!!! I had no idea this place was right by the mall. It almost seems like it will be a run of the mill shopping center taco place but MANNN the nachos were so good, everything authentic and flavorful. 10/10 would recommend.

Awesome tacos! I had the steak ones and their green salsa is phenomenal! The place also plays great old school hip hop of all things. Price is very reasonable but I'm also coming from Cali where food is 30% more. So this to me seemed like a great deal. I highly recommend this place for delicious steak tacos.

They got my order wrong; they don't have fresh sweet tea (this is TN we are talking about). The tacos were dry, and the corn tortillas (if you can even call them that) were hard as a rock. The music was far too loud to hear your order being called. As a positive, they have a nice location near other, more reputable establishments. Oh and by the way, it's incredibly expensive for what you get. Would not recommend.

Pack the bowl is my favorite bowl so far that I have found in Nashville. Great price for a tasty and healthy meal. This place has so many options, and I want to try everything.

The food was horrific. We ordered Carne Asada and Lengua tacos. Both were fried. Asada means grilled and Lengua tacos are supposed to be tender and juicy. Both types were so greasy, we became ill afterwards. I would never recommend this place.

I absolutely do not get the hype. We got several menu items, one of which was so spicy it was inedible (the empanada), and we like spice! The queso and a fish taco that came in a cabbage wrap was okay, so there was some redeeming value, and the chips were so good! Overall disappointing, but maybe my expectations were just too high after reading some rave reviews in a local magazine.

Exceeded every expectation. Food was SO GOOD. Really really love this place, will definitely be back. We got quesadillas, tacos, chips, queso, and salsa. All were so good but I think the sauce that comes with the quesadillas was the most impressive. 10/10!
