Behold D.C. Restaurant Staff Wearing Halloween Costumes | Eater DC

"At the DMV-wide chain Taco Bamba, I noticed they give a free taco to any customer dressed as a taco today; at its Rockville location a fox and Dracula were currently working." - Tierney Plumb

Taco Bamba Is Moving Into Maryland to Open Its Biggest Location Yet | Eater DC

"Chef Victor Albisu is planning to bring the Virginia-based chain’s first Maryland location to Rockville this spring, extending Taco Bamba’s culture-mashing, pop culture–referencing take on Mexican street food that has proven fairly pandemic-proof. The suburban shop, which will join Congressional Plaza, will be the largest Bamba at 2,766 square feet, feature indoor and outdoor seating, and include the chain’s “nuestros tacos” lineup that references neighborhoods — reportedly serving a crabcake taco and a Chinese-style fried fish taco; this opening also marks the chain’s second debut during the coronavirus crisis, following an Arlington location in August." - Gabe Hiatt

It was my first time visiting this place, I was greeted and informed off everything they served! I believe the team members name was Wellington! He was very nice and friendly. The food was delicious, the best! Fresh and yummy, the mango juice was also really good. Loved the atmosphere will definitely come again!

**Lively, Delicious, and Totally Worth It!** Taco Bamba in Rockville is a great spot in town. Yes, it can get loud and crowded—but that’s all part of the fun, and honestly, a great sign that the food is good. Every taco I’ve tried has been packed with flavor—you really can’t go wrong with any choice on the menu. The ceviche is outstanding! Don’t let the color fool you; it’s fresh, zesty, and absolutely delicious. I also recommend starting with the nachos—they’re loaded and perfect for sharing. The bar scene is lively and a great spot to meet up with friends for a refreshing drink. If the music inside feels a bit too loud, they have outdoor seating available as a quieter option. Highly recommend for a fun night out with amazing food and a great vibe!

This place is great. I recommend trying it! This place has a nice atmosphere. The associates are very efficient with moving the line quickly and preparing the food. The food is good they have a diverse assortment of tacos which are all very good. My favorite is Johnny Danger, but without the jalapenos because it makes it too spicy in my opinion. I also love the fact that they serve alcohol here. It's quickly becoming one of my favorite sort of fast food restaurants. Definitely think you should try.

The Torta Bamba was out of this world, it was hugeee and so delicious and so worth the price… I highly recommend to come for the tortas. The tacos were okay and small so wouldn’t really recommend it that much but they were still really good! I would definitely come here again. Service was as you’d expect but to my surprise sometimes they’d bring it to my table which is nice.

I honestly couldn’t wait to post this review. Wow, just wow. Taco Bamba in Rockville left an unforgettable impression on me. When I first walked in, I wasn’t entirely sold—the casual setup of ordering at the counter and getting a number wasn’t my favorite. However, I opted to sit at the bar for full service, and I’m so glad I did. I arrived around 6:30 PM, just as happy hour was wrapping up, but that didn’t deter me from enjoying every moment of the experience. The prices were very reasonable, making it even more appealing. At first, the bartender, Jesicca, was a bit reserved, but as the evening went on, she warmed up and provided wonderful service. To start, I ordered the Mexican street corn, and let me tell you—it was absolutely delicious! I’d happily order it again and again. For my main course, I chose the Fauda Taco and the Turkish Wrestler, and I have to say, I’ve eaten at countless restaurants, but the flavors in these tacos were unlike anything I’ve ever experienced. The Fauda Taco, in particular, was pure heaven. Every bite was an explosion of incredible flavors. It’s hard to put into words just how amazing it was! Overall, I was beyond thrilled with the food—it was creative, bold, and utterly delicious. However, there were a couple of drawbacks. The heating wasn’t working, and on a freezing cold night (14°F outside!), we had to keep our coats on. Additionally, the restrooms seemed to be neglected, likely due to the lack of traditional table service. The sink water was icy, and there was no toilet paper available, which was disappointing. Despite these minor inconveniences, the exceptional food and reasonable prices make Taco Bamba a spot I’ll definitely return to. I’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for a truly unique and flavorful taco experience. Just bundle up if you’re visiting on a cold day!

6/10. I really wanted the moco crab taco but they don’t have any crab so they used shrimp instead and they did not tell me. LOL. The brisket is not brisket and it’s just lies. Overall it’s D for me. The tacos are ok. The huevos rancheros and chilequiles are ok. It’s just ok. ✅

Great food and a great price. Everybody from the managers down are friendly and Engaging. It’s great to patronize a local business that takes their food seriously but has a good time!
