A New Taco Bell Cantina Opens in San Jose at Westfield Oakridge Mall - Eater SF

"The Taco Bell Cantina, probably the finest invention from the company known for the gordita supreme and ultra-cheap hard shell tacos, is coming to San Jose. The newest Taco Bell in the Bay Area will open on Wednesday, August 23 in the Westfield Oakridge Mall with a grand opening celebration running from 10 a.m. until midnight. The first 100 customers at this movie theater-themed outpost of the international fast-food chain will get an exclusive Taco Bell cup, and for paying customers on the first day, there’s a chance to win free Taco Bell for a year — one perhaps couldn’t find a better way to live mas. The freshest Taco Bell Cantina in the Bay Area — though the most famous is likely the legendary Pacifica Taco Bell literally on the beach at Linda Mar — will operate three ordering kiosks and a pick-up window, and offers patio seating for up to 24 guests. Living up to its namesake, the location at 925 Blossom Hill Road, Suite 1641 will pour alcoholic beverages including liquor, beer, and wine." - Paolo Bicchieri

I recently visited this Taco Bell location and was thoroughly impressed. The service was fast and friendly, with the staff always ensuring I was satisfied. The food was top-notch, as usual—the tacos were fresh, packed with flavor, and the Baja Blast was the perfect refreshing treat. The ambiance was clean and welcoming, with bright, modern décor. I also appreciated how comfortable the seating was, making it a pleasant spot to enjoy a quick meal. Overall, a great experience that I’ll be coming back for!

So, the kind woman behind the ordering computer, seemed understanding, but the manager had 0 interest in helping find a solution to something that is obviously Taco Bell’s fault. The ordering computer clearly and completely offers a value combo, but a “software issue” keeps it from completing in the self order system. When a manager was available and I asked for a solution, he replied with some level of I am sorry, we can’t. That was it, no other suggestions for how to make a similar combo and price adjust; or any other guest centered solution.

I went inside and there was a smell like a dead animal that have died or something. I ordered and waited for like 20 minutes I think. My kids was waiting for me to get the food. Then I kindly went up to the counter and said I been waiting here for 20 minutes and I haven’t received my food. Then the staff said that did I order correctly.

I am glad they finally opened one of these in the mall and the kiosks are the best way to pay. I go late after Target closes, when there are no lines. Several of my favorite items are the veggie power menu bowl, chicken enchilada burrito, loaded beef nachos, black beans & rice, and Gatorade fruit punch without ice.

I got me the steak grilled cheese nacho fries. I am very disappointed it’s not worth the price. S4.49. I didn’t have much steak. Not a lot of fries at all. I would get my money back if I could. I’m very upset

PROS: * There are kiosks inside and one outside, so you can order food without waiting in line. * Staff is super friendly! * Comfortable seating outside in their patio area. * Heated outside patio when it's cold. * They serve beer and hard liquor! CONS: * None! NOTES: At the time I write this review, this place only has three stars. I'm not sure why, as the staff is friendly and helpful, and the food and portions are the same as the other Taco Bell locations. I'm not sure why people had negative experiences here.

Sebastian&Lupe💕 is amazing!Thank you so much for your patience and help in resolving problem when I had difficulty ordering food. Even though it's only a $10 dollar combo. I love to eat crispy Tacall. Tomorrow is my early shift and I don't have time to come and buy Tacall. I can't wait for the store to open tomorrow morning. But they did it. Thank you a lot for your team be patience and caring me. God bless you.
