Waited in line over 20 minutes- my food was cold… and was practically all lettuce and sour cream- couldn’t even tell there was meat in the taco. Nacho fries were hard and cold. This was at 6:11pm. Got out of the drive through after 3:34. Should get a refund, that wasted my time and my one night a week to not eat at home.

Been here a few times. And it’s a hit or miss depending on who’s working on your quality of food . During the day it’s better at night they slack off a lot . Got the cantina chicken burrito one time asked for no purple cabbage , came with extra cabbage. Got it again tonight and there was practically no sauce on it and chicken looked / tasted extremely cold to touch . Just need them to be consistent

Clean standalone restaurant with ample parking. Staff was very helpful and polite. Food was typical Taco Bell quality. No complaints. Recommend

During the day it’s not but but during the night, oh my God, it is terrible. Takes 30+ minutes for food even if you order online most the time it’s messed up.

The window person that was also the manager was the most rude vial man I have ever came across. I asked to buy a thing of jalapenos and he said no

Food was great, lady at the drive thru was polite and they got my food quick. It was probably the only time I've ever been to a taco bell that I would give 5 stars.

Giving this a very middle of the road review. We love Taco Bell and consider it one of our favorite fast food restaurants. This location has also provided us with very good food. There have been other times, however, when the food has been lacking if not just plain cold or made wrong. Lately, it seems like they're having a bigger issue paying attention to directions, as unwanted ingredients keep appearing in our items anyway. Despite this, sometimes this location really nails it, too. Basically, good luck trying to figure out if they're having a good day or not!

we sat in line for almost an hour and they for got multiple things on our order and when we finally got them the items order along with the other items had sour cream, tomatoes and even the wrong kind of meat even though we were clear on what we wanted

Food was good and fast and Noah was very helpful, especially to the elderly man who needed help. Good job Noah. I will be back because of your caring attitude

I was traveling through independence today. Decided to have Taco Bell. Only to find the lobby is closed. They don't understand people who drive big trucks or vehicles pulling trailers can't go thru their little a** drive thru. Looks like you've lost another customer

Best Taco Bell in the area! We are never disappointed when we eat here. Our sentiment is echoed by people that we know from out of the area who always make it a point to eat here when they come to town.

Food was cold the last three times I got it. Also, I'm used to Kansas city times. It's pretty stupid to close a fast food restaurant at 12 on a weekend when bars are open till 2.. in KC they're open way later.

I have always had good food at this taco bell and it is always clean the staff take their time making food so its always good

This place used to have some serious problems, but that is just history now. This TB is well run and food is great. Lots of friendly employees, fast service, comfy dining room. Always coming up with new creations food wise. The new Quesalupa is a winner. Somehow has the taste more like authentic Mexican food, though that is really not what they are trying to do. Many people dismiss Taco Bell food as the low end, but I have eaten at many Mexican places in the U S and I have had native food all over Mexico, and really like what they are doing with the Mexican food theme here at Taco Bell.

This place is good when it's a good day sometimes it's filthy and somedays it shines I suppose depending on the staff it's a great place to get a cheap and yummy meal and the service is fast

The food was great. The food was freshly made, the presentation was not sloppy . The cooks took a while to make the food which is why it was great . The food was hot and crunchy. The people at the drive through were mad because the service was slow but then again so is business. People can't expect to have fast food If the food is going to be sitting under a heating lamp waiting for someone to order that food. So please remember next time you go that if there is a long wait it's because they're making the food. INDEPENDENCE isn't a busy town to have all ready to go. I do think that the workers could have put more effort into making the customers who were waiting at the drive thru happy by explaining the reason the food was taking so long. ONE worker said to the customer That there was nothing she could do about the wait time. The manager then with no facial expressions said basically the same thing to wait. Perhaps some customer service skills for when it does get busy should be in place.

I am a HUGE Taco Bell fan, but I've had to stop eating at the Independence location. Drive-thru service is slow, my order is usually wrong, and they skimp on quality. There's plenty of other options in Independence when it comes to Mexican food. Don't fall for the temptation here, you'll be sincerely disappointed.
