Taco Bell Cantina

I really wanted to like this Taco Bell. It’s in a great location right off H Street NE, and the new layout makes it very accessible. Unfortunately, that’s where the positives end. The store consistently feels unclean, and the staff is generally unfriendly, which makes for an unwelcoming experience. The only real upside is that the prices are the same as other Taco Bell locations. Overall, it’s disappointing—definitely not up to the standard you’d hope for, even from a fast food spot.

This is my third time visiting this location. The previous visits were okay despite the slow service. This time, there was a piece of plastic in my cantina bowl. I did call the resturant so hopefully they fixed the issue and this doesn't happen to anyone else.

This location is understaffed. You will wait 20-30 minutes for a simple order. Corporate has not equipped this location to operate properly and you might as well go home and microwave a hot dog before you make any attempt to pick up food from here. Choose to starve over waiting for food from this location.

I love Taco Bell! I will never eat at this location again. I feel incredibly sorry for the franchisee of this location. Your employees are RUINING your chances in already tough times. We have been here at least 7 times since opening and only two of those have been good. Actually the first was magnificent if a bit chaotic. We’ve both worked food service and have patience and understanding… to a point. But ever since the food is haphazardly cooked and served. It’s not worth the headache and disappointment to try and eat here. Your manager told us that if we didn’t like your food we just needed to try a new location. Not an employee I’d want to keep.

I had an amazing experience at this Taco Bell, thanks to Carla! She went above and beyond to make sure my order was perfect and had such a friendly, welcoming attitude. The food was fresh, hot, and exactly what I wanted. The service was fast, and the restaurant was clean and well-maintained. It’s rare to find customer service this great, and Carla truly made my visit special. I’ll definitely be coming back—highly recommend this location!

This location is a dumpster fire. I ordered through the Taco Bell app ahead of time for pick-up. I arrive at the time it told me the food would be ready, and it took another 30 MINUTES for the order to be ready. Meanwhile the staff was completely useless. In the year 2025 how is fast food this slow and difficult?

Just an utter disaster of an operation. No matter the time of day, the work crew is incompetent and is sure to take 20-30, even an hour extra to prepare even the most basic order. You’re better off not eating. Management should be ashamed and make changes in order immediately.

Cannot make orders on time or anywhere close to pick up time. Either the back of house is totally understaffed or doesn’t know how to prepare food in a volume type place. Food Delivery drivers also crowd the pick up window and cut in line to wait for their orders or just block anyone else picking up their food. Given the food is premade and then heated up in hot water the only step remaining is to put those prepackaged items together.

There's a 24/7 Taco Bell with a walk-up window that's now open and is just down the street from me! So yeah, that means I've already been here multiple times. Look, it's cheap and it always hits the spot. The staff here are really friendly. My order has always been quick and correct. And nicely made and packaged too. This Taco Bell location is heads and tails so far above the crappy Taco Bell in Union Station, which used to be the closest location to me. Anyways, this is a great Taco Bell location.

Comically slow. I love taco bell. But it does not take 30 minutes to make one of their tacos. Except at this location.
