Whewwwwww this was the worst fast food I’ve had in a while. I wanted a Mexican pizza and for some ungodly reason I stopped here to order— with no onions. It was cold and as you can see the cheese was not melted on top. I still have the courage to take a bite and it was disgusting. Zero stars. I ordered in the drive thru but went inside to get a fork and it was very dingy inside and looked abandoned. Smh. Lancaster is struggling in general food wise.

I hate this is the only TC close your me. This is the most unprofessional, rude, slow service you could ever get. I ordered 2 breakfast tacos and went in to get them bright and early no line on the inside at all. It took 5-8 minutes for someone to even come to the register. I had to yell out are yall open on the inside. Because I could hear them socializing in the kitchen. A lady calls for the manager that’s working that register, no greeting or nothing she just looked at me and I assumed that was my queue to order. She takes my order gives me the receipt turned to walk away but not without grabbing her cell phone and putting it up to her ear. 15 min later I finally had 2 bacon, egg, & cheese breakfast tacos.

I gave a 1 star only because me and my wife went to get something to eat only to realize in the item she ordered which was the carne asada bowl. Only to realize there was not a single piece of carne asada in the bowl

This place lacks customer service skills. As a walk in, two employees walked past the counter without acknowledging people were standing here to order. No good morning, no hello someone will be with you in a moment. The second girl did go get someone to let her know customers were st the front to order. Direct reflection of management. The first time I came here was in the drive thru and I had to wait a bit because they had to make food fresh which was great but let the customer know there will be a wait time when certain items are ordered.

Young lady with dreads at the drive through window, was rude and had a attitude, didn't speak, she didn't provide napkins salsa or even a straw. The bean and ground beef tacos were full of grease and hard to eat and enjoy. Worst experience I've had so far.

I want to say many thanks to the lady who took my order of 3 taco cabana breakfast taco boxes on Friday, September 13, at 630am. She was very polite and friendly. I've been on different occasions to this exact location between 6am and 620am and was always having to deal with this place not opening until 630am, then the tortilla machine not working and the last time before this one I was told it was cash only. I didn't carry cash, so for a while, I stopped visiting Taco Cabana, possibly for about 7 months. It was not until this day that I tried again, and she made it all better, so thank you!

Having no real love for Mexican cuisine, I must say, Taco Cabana on I-35 and Belltline is pretty good. Jaheid W. is a BEAST on that grill! Next time you visit, give him a shout out! My order was incorrect and he happily resolved it. Thank you, Jaheid!

Guacamole was sour, which means it’s bad or starting to ferment. Flautas were burnt to hell and my wife’s been and cheese burrito looked like someone sat on it. Hire better quality workers before you end up giving someone food poisoning

Stopped here a few times for a quick bite. Work takes me constantly up and down the 35 corridor and somehow I'm always searching for food in the DeSoto / Lancaster area. Counter service is always friendly. Mostly lunches here but for this visit I'm concentrating on the recent breakfast I had here. Was I supposed to be here on a Saturday morning? Nope! My work truck broke down on Friday and I had to stay the night. Drove into TC from Richardson; didn't realize breakfast plates are back. Don't exactly remember when they vanished (covid?) but it was a surprise to see they are offering more than sausage and bacon. Scrambled eggs with Ranchero Sauce with Beef Fajita. Requisite beans and taters too. Loaded up with various salsas. Eggs were ok and I wish the Ranchero wasn't so runny. Same as it ever tasted. Add some pico to the refried beans for extra flavor and ask for butter for the tortillas! Filled up my iced tea for the trip south and headed home.

I feeling like a taco. Taco Cabana beyond meat plant-based taco? Yes, please. Often I get my beyond meat taco in a crispy corn shell $2.99. Really delicious beyond taco with lettuce and tomato. I ask for jalapeños, extra tomato salsa, pico, and cilantro, yum-yummy! This is dumped in my bowl and becomes an amazing beyond meat taco SALAD. I placed my order to-go at the counter. My service was super cool. He asked me 2-3 times if I wanted additional condiments. Really great service. The cook in the back came to the front to confirm crispy corn not soft flour. Thank you Taco Cabana for excellent beyond meat tacos. Back again soon, that's a problem.

This review is solely about the supervisor or manager (I'm not sure what her title was) who was working 7/2/21 around 8:30PM. Understandably it was really busy not to mention they were short staffed as all restaurants are post COVID-19. A young gentleman was working really hard to get orders out to the lobby full of customers. He was making sure orders were correct and he was doing a good job keeping the customers calm. We were there for over 30 minutes and we never saw her. All of a sudden she came from the back and started yelling at him in front of the customers. I was applauded! She was nowhere to be found and certainly not helping her crew, but she screamed at him "If you don't want to work you can leave." By this time we had just been handed our order and we were leaving. As we were leaving we saw him walking across the parking lot in tears headed home. If upper management reads this please investigate this situation.

Food seems good and the margaritas, but the service is so poor. The cashiers seemed annoyed by us being there and had bad attitudes, I get that working fast food isn't easy I've been doing it for a while now. But still there's no reason for treating the customers that poorly. Honestly very disappointed.

Ate lunch there yesterday. Floors and tables were filthy. Girl preparing our food had dirty 1-inch fingernails so wore no gloves. Rice was brittle and had a strange flavor. Understandably, I got food poisoning and have been sick since I woke up. I thought about calling and complaining but from what I saw yesterday, it would clearly do no good. Do NOT eat here or you may suffer as I have.

if I could give this restaurant ZERO stars I would. filthy and nasty. Most tables in the empty dining room were ditry. trash was overflowing. napkin dispensers were empty. tortillas had fallen off the press and were lying on the floor. I live in Missouri and usually love Taco Cabana and was so excited to enjoy fresh tortillas and tasty Mexican food. The kid that waited on us acted like we were an inconvenience and literally grunted at us when we asked how he was (after waiting in a nearly empty restaurant for a few minutes for him to come to the register) He was texting on his phone the entire time we were ordering. When he gave us our total, I held my card out for 20 seconds (as he was texting) before he grunted and took it. He ran the card and, with my card in his hand, picked up his phone again and started texting again. Gee, I hate that we interpreted your social life at work. While we ate, he sat at a table--in the middle of the dirty dining room and continued with phone in hand. We usually stop at this Taco Cabana on our Texas trips because it has been clean and friendly. I know the whole world is short staffed right now, but I that was ridiculous and we will not be back.

This is the absolute worst, horrific, awful Taco Cabana in the entire chain of Taco Cabanas all over the world (Ok, the US, but you get my point!). Seriously. My decades-long dedication to TC, plus my periodic resistance to driving anywhere other than a 5 mile radius from my home has kept me coming to this particular location since I moved down South but no longer! Now let me just set a baseline of service expectations at this location for you: your order WILL be messed up and it will take an extremely long time to get said order. But its TC, so i can tolerate a bit of foolishness for my quesadillas. But on this particular visit not only were they out of ground beef, shredded chicken for tacos, but they were out of flour tortillas! Huh?! Now y'all know Taco Cabana has THE BEST flour tortillas so that was a major problem. When I asked what was up they said "the machine not really acting right". Oh and no one bothered to tell me the tortillia situation until I got to the front of the drive-thru line after waiting almost 20 minutes in line! That's it I'm done. I still love me some TC but this location can have it. Is this location of franchise? Because this franchisee seriously needs their license revoked. It's so beyond ridiculous!

I grew-up eating Taco Cabana and have always loved that it's simple yet fresh. This location leaves a bit to be desired. The staff is pretty friendly but the food, wait, and cleanliness is always hit or miss. Let's start with the food.. pretty basic Tex-Mex. I love getting the quesadillas, nachos, fajitas,etc. Prices are good and reflect value. They actually cook their chicken and steaks so they usually have that tasty grill taste to them. The wait.. omg it's pretty bad. Don't even try the drive-thru thinking it will go by faster. Super slow. Cleanliness.. I mean the whole salad bar area is usually always pretty messy and I doesn't seem to be cleaned regularly. This Taco Cabana is usually good, this location however, is not.

Worst ever! I ordered the Large Chicken Quesadillas which normally come with SOME grilled chicken!!!! Also, normally comes with sour cream and guacamole - I had to ask for both, only to be given these small servings for a Large. Needless to say, I won't be back!!! $16 for cheese and tortillas - 3 thumbs down!!!!

I stopped by today after work to get my two free tacos for my birthday and I went through the drive thru and when I pulled up to the window to show Vanessa my phone app she swiped my app and also tried to charge me for the tacos she made up some kind of story about I only receive points and not the Taco's so I left without the food because it just didn't sound right so people be aware of Vanessa

Drive thru line took forever. Ordered a taco salad with no beans and no guacamole. It came with no guac but was LOADED with beans! Chicken enchiladas were messed up as well. Ordered all Drinks with no ice and all drinks had ice in them. By the time I got home, all the teas were watered down. There are too many other Mexican restaurants in the Dallas area to settle for this mediocre service and lack of attention to detail.

Went to get lunch today, ordered Steak taco plate, Steak Nachos, Chips and queso. The food was horrible, dried steak, the chips were stale. The rice and refried beans were dry. The only good thing I can say the cashier was nice. I've been going to this TC for years. This may be my last. I thank you should make your employees pay for the bad food they serve to your customers. Remember the customers pay the bills.

I really love the food here but i really hate that when I make a online order with them through the app they always never have it. And barely start making it when I get here. I understand it gets busy but don't put me on hold on the phone for more than 5 mins. This is the 2nd time I have come here. And I'm only displeased on the mobile service. Please keep more track of your mobile orders. And don't forget about them. And also double check your food when you get it. They messed up my meal three times in a row. And lasted a long time in the drive thru because of it.

No value for your money at this place, order a nine dollar steak fajita combo, you get about 6 pieces of meat, two tortilla, some salsa, queso, and chips, for 9 dollars. For seven dollars I can go to a gas station by my house and get three excellent tasting authentic Mexican tacos , rice, beans, peppers and onions. Pretty bad when a gas station can offer you a better meal taste wise and value wise than an actual food place can lol I can say I use to love their food but the prices have gone up and the value down, you just don't get enough for your money here.

Horrible experience. First time at this location, though I've eaten at Taco Cabana scores of times. Always had from good to great experience. This place was dirty, staff was rude, and it took over 24 minutes to receive an order of just a bowl of rice and a bowl of beans. Might have been an off day for them, as it was not Taco Cabana standard by any stretch. If it is the norm for this location, then TC should shut down ASAP, or maybe even the Health Department should.

Years ago it was average but now the ingredients are not fresh and I came in today and tortillas were all over the floor all the employees had food all over them and seems to be on something.

Slow is an understatement. Came here to pick up a few tacos woth my daughter and here we are over 15 minutes later and still no food. 5 tacos and chips w/ queso should not take 20 minutes. I've learned my lesson at least with this place. The only reason for the 2 stars is for the beer that they have at the counter. Other then that nope. Got me once. Not going to get me again. The service and the food that we received from this location were not very pleasant! I've been to another Taco Cabana before and had a much better experience. We were in the middle of our long drive from Kansas City to South Texas when we stopped at this location for dinner. The lady that was taking our order did not provide good customer service. She did not greet us with a smile and we can barely hear her talk! My husband had to ask her to speak up a number of time. Then, when we received our food, my steak street tacos were not good at all. The steak did not look like they were done right, honestly I couldn't even tell what type of meat it was from first glance because it looked like it was boiled. The rice was soggy and the charro beans lacked any flavor.

I went at 11 am on a Saturday morning. It took 25 minutes to receive my to go order. The assumed manager would come to the front of store and take orders and then return to the kitchen so customers entering had to wait 2-3 minutes before even being greeted. I don't understand why the delay as I saw at least 4 employees. If that's not enough you need to add an additional person to the team especially on a Saturday . The previous reviews I read also reflected that time was an issue. The food was as expected so no complaints there.

Terrible. Just terrible. Went inside on a Sunday morning because the drive-thru was slammed. We were just picking up breakfast for a road trip, and thought inside might be faster. There was a long line and one register open. The teen working the register was not very friendly (though she had great nails!) and isn't quick on the fly. I ordered bean and egg breakfast tacos and asked to add bacon and cheese. It took three tries for her to figure out what I wanted because "we don't have that taco." Three times we went over the order, and she said I'd have to pay extra for the cheese and bacon. Great. Let's do it! Of course, paid extra and got zero bacon. There was also no coffee, though a sweet manager made some right away. My friends' order was wrong, too. After waiting a very long time because they had to make bacon (again, why was I missing mine?), they were missing two tacos from their order. We were in a hurry to get on the road, so we didn't go back in to make things right, but will not stop at this TC next time I'm passing through town.

"It will be 20 mins for food."... this was after we had just paid our bill and waited in line for 10 mins in line to do so. The poor cashier was white-eyed and scared to death after that. We arrived really expecting a typical taco cabana service and food experience (very good), but this location was not that. Just no apologies or anything. Not that we were hoping or expecting it. But, crap... So we gave a competitor two doors down our patronage, and we won't be back to these guys.
