Taco Del Mar

Delicious fish tacos(they take a little extra time so heads up)! Super clean inside. Staff was very friendly and food was fresh. Oh and the guacamole was super tasty.

I placed an online order. I walked in a few minutes after placing the order and was asked if I placed the online order. I said I did and was told they were working on it. The food was made perfectly, the staff was very friendly and thorough, and the restaurant was clean. They went through the order with me to make sure everything was there. I greatly appreciate the great service and food! It was my first time going here in a good 10 years and first time having a burrito bowl from here, and I was very surprised with how great everything was! This is my new favorite place to go for my burrito bowl fix! My kids loved their burritos as well! The chips and queso were also very good, but I do wish they would give more queso with the chips. The queso was gone, and half the chips were left in the bag. Other than that, everything was perfect!

Everything at TDM is fresh, delicious, and filling. The salsa is perfectly smoky and spicy, the rice is fluffy, and the fish tacos get better EVERY TIME. Fells like eating at the beach even when it's -40° outside. Trust me.

If you haven't been to Taco Del Mar you need to check it out! I've recently discovered this place. The food is " Amazing" always fresh & delicious! The employees are very friendly.

we just ate here today (1/25) and the one man working was extremely rude. as soon as we walked up the the counter he immediately started laughing at us for no reason. everything we said he laughed at us. (we were being funny we were ordering food). while we were paying for our order. we were going through the machine and it gave an option to tip and he proceeded to laugh at us again and yell “THE BUTTON RIGHT THERE JENNIFER.” with so much attitude for no reason. don’t know who jennifer is but that’s what he called us while paying? will not be coming back if that’s how we will get treated by an employee. food was good but the service we were treated with made us feel awful.

It is amazing the food I would personally recommend the big wet but the meat to the sides and everything else is amazing the service is great a little to improve but overall impressive it deserves five stars

The girls who worked there were rude and one girl was trying to fold my burrito and it went all over the wrap and tinfoil and it was a mess so I asked to have it redone n they ignored me and this is what my burrito looks like freshly unfolded….

Great fast food baja/mex . Try the zack sauce( salsa) if you like spicy . Food hot and consistent great flavor . Go to for fast hot quality food .

Meh. Went here with family that had been here before. It is true to its reviews. It is very blah. Decor is cliche but ok. Staff was relatively friendly. Food was bland but blah. Overall, Meh like many mexican places.

Looking for a good solid Taco or burrito and at a cost price! Check this place out in Bismarck! Tuesday they have a taco special and it's worth the price! I got the carne asada soft tacos with rice and it was very good! Lots of flavor, good size and plenty of food for lunch! Inside is bright and clean which is good and the owners are extremely friendly and work a lot there so the service is great! the food is just sub par. They don't even. have real queso it is just processed yellow cheese. the meat selection is poor, they don't even have chorizo or any spicy or even medium salsa, just disappointing

Ordered dinner through door dash and was hugely disappointed. First, my dinner looked nothing like the picture. They forgot the silverware and the sour cream. So, in a hotel with no silverware, rice is dry and not tasty, the enchiladas were short in sauce. The shredded beef was good but of course difficult to eat with no silverware.

This is the whitest version of Mexican food ever. It's not bad but the food is extremely boring.

Nice clean and bright restaurant. Food was fair at best. A step up from your typical Taco Bell/Taco Johns Mexican Fast Food.

This place is expensive and lacking in flavor and freshness. They don't make their own tortillas or grill the meat in front of you. They just assemble your food with prepackaged tortillas and iceberg lettuce. Seriously do yourself a favor and stay away unless this is the best you can do.

Not bad for lunch. Step above taco Bell for sure. They make it in front of you so you can choose how ya want it. Staff is particularly helpful and nice.

Taco Del Mar is a spin-off concept that mimics Qdoba. Made to order burritos and tacos with the typical toppings, meats, and cheeses. The owners are very nice, and it spears me to give this place two stars. But, my mondo burrito was lukewarm at best and the chicken lacked flavor. Just look at my picture. The owner threw it in the microwave to try and melt the cheese. Seriously? Big miss. Avoid the noon hour or you'll find a longer than normal wait. The place is clean which is a sign of how the kitchen stands. But, the food isn't that good and lacks spices and flavors of it's drive-thru competitors. Oh, and that's another thing. It doesn't have a drive-thru. Here's what you can expect... steam your tortilla, spread on some guac, select your meat that lacks flavor, and smother it with a sauce to make it up on the back end. And, the prices are above the typical price point in the market relative to others that offer better options.

This is the worst place I have EVER been to for Mexican food. The nachos I ordered are reminiscent of bland high school cafeteria food--lack flavor, barely edible and luke warm. The ground beef tasted as though it was boiled, the queso had the look of a metal can and tasted worse, the guacamole and pico was awful. And my wife's burrito was absolutely horrendous and unedible. This is a FAR, FAR cry from Mexican food. I, WE, won't be returning.

This is an amazing restaurant they give you large proportions. The entire restaurant is clean and all the staff are extremely nice. It is located in a nice part of town and has plenty of parking.

Fresh tasty Baja tacos. Yes, it's different from other taco chain restaurants in Bismarck, but that's what makes it unique. Their dill sauce is awesome and it's chipotle version is wonderful. The fish tacos and Baja bowls are the best. Those complaining about spice just didn't try the available sauces. You can make your selection as spicy or as mild as you choose. The Diablo sauce is plenty spicy. The mango salsa is very tasty. Give it a try, you won't regret it.

We had them cater for an almost 300 person wedding. Angie and her son could not have been more amazing! Price was very reasonable and food was amazing. Cannot say enough great things about how wonderful they were to work with. Would definitely recommend!!!

I see a lot of comments about the flavor being off, I have not experienced this. My favorite dish is the fish tacos. They let you substitute anything that you want so you can make it to your liking. They have sauces that you can add to your dish to spice things up. This place is definitely one of my cravings. They are a California based Mexican style of food.

You'll see the locals give this place 5 stars but keep in mind that most of them have never had real Mexican food and the majority of the locals consider Taco John's to be edible. The only thing about taco del mar that is better than taco bell is the whole beans. That's it. The food here is the same quality as taco John's and Taco Bell. The meat has that "sat in can" texture and it doesnt have any flavor at all...it is NOT carne asada. This is NOT mexican food. Staff is typical North Dakota people who wouldnt know a real burrito of they saw one but they try to pawn these abominations off as "authentic". One of the staff likes to give customers dirty looks and she rests the tortillas on her dirty forearms before making the burritos. Stay away if you want authentic mexicano...but eat up if you want over priced taco bell.

Nowhere near the best Mexican I've ever eaten. My "Wet Burrito" was mediocre at best. Cold (even after nuking?), overpriced, and average. Staff was young but knowledgable and friendly enough. Background music was heavy, and I mean HEAD BANGING HEAVY metal; I swear I heard more than a handful of expletives while there (with my teen daughters). I'm pretty darn sure I won't go back to a Taco Del Mar again unless I'm very hard up for Mexican food :-)

For fast food Mexican food it is excellent. The owners and staff are very friendly and the food is good. I have the Wet Mondo Burrito with queso on a regular basis as well as the super meat nachos. Lines can be long but they work you through quickly. I prefer it to Qdobas and Pancheros

Taco Del Mar is as good as it gets for a quick meal on the South side of town.

I have been a fan of taco del Mar for years. This establishment was much more generous at their previous location. Taco del Mar is famous for the MONDO burrito. Traditionally it is huge. There is nothing Mondo about the burrito at this location. Very disappointed. I have given theses owners my business for years, but no more. Overpriced, undersized.

I work near by so my fiance and I come here regularly for lunch. I love "mexican" food and my fiance never liked it until we started coming to Taco Del Mar. The owners are always super friendly and the food is always great. I think they have a hard time finding reliable staff as there is always new people working but the labor market in Bismarck is tough right now. We have also had them cater some of our business meetings. Always great. Try it out. And to the reviewer who is upset because a restaurant won't go out of their way to meet your vegan or gluten free demands, get a life.
