Taco diVino

I saw a post about this restaurant a couple of years ago. The diners indicated the food was very good. I live 2 hours away from Midland so this is the first opportunity I had to dine here. There is construction around the restaurant so it took me a couple trips around the block to get into the parking lot. Saying all this, it was worth the trip. The service was top notch. The food was outstanding. Definitely worth another trip. Note: the restaurant only takes cash or Venmo. They do have an ATM on-site. I had the spicy shrimp and corn in a cup.

I had a great experience at Tacos Divino! I ordered the Tejas and Coconut Shrimp tacos—both were absolutely delicious. The service was impressively fast, and the staff were super nice and welcoming. Great vibes all around. Highly recommend if you're craving quality tacos!

Possibly the best tacos in all of Texas and I ain’t kidding. After I found this place I was no longer bummed when I had to travel to Midland. Every combination I’ve tried is excellent but my favorite is Coconut Shrimp. FYI Cash or Venmo only (they do have an ATM inside).

BEST TACOS IN THE BASIN! Just left there for our first time, but it definitely won't be the last. We tried probably half the tacos on the menu and they were all fantastic. I didnt even want salsa on them, that tells you how good they were. And all three of there salsas were delicious too. We met the owner who was actually there helping wait on tables and cleaning up. True sign of a great restaurant. Our waiter was amazing, we thought he must have been part of the family he cared so much about his job and the restaurant. But no, he just loved his job and the people he works with. The place was fixed up cute, they even have plants and flowers growing just outside, which is such a thoughtful touch. Can't wait to go back!!

Tacos were excellent. Definitely coming here on a regular basis whenever I'm in town.

I ordered delivery from Taco diVino, I was busy and didn't notice that my 155 Dollars of tacos was 1 hour late. I called the business and the manager was hard to get ahold of, but when we did he said we don't have delivery. IF YOU DONT HAVE DELIVERY TAKE IT OFF GOOGLE (As you see on the pictures, you can order delivery and put in a delivery address) . He refused to send us fresh tacos because the tacos by the time we got them were 2 hours old, falling apart, cold and gross. This company obviously cares less about service quality or their customers. I told them I would be giving a negative review and they didn't care one bit.

The food was delicious. It was super busy, but it didn't take long to get our food. I had a Drunken Fish Taco. My friend Dee had the Tejas Tacos. We both had Mexican Street Corn. The sauce and Guacamole on the tacos was just awesome!!! We sat outside and enjoyed our food and the West Texas wind!!! Highly recommend!!! I will definitely be going to Taco diVino again!!!

I'm not going to mince words here. These are the best tacos I've ever had. Do I fancy myself a taco? Yes of course. Am I a taco expert? By no means. But consider me an expert on flavor and these tacos have maxed it out. It's not like you pass through Midland often, but this might help local folks. I'm not going to post much about things outside of SF but this was too good not to talk about. I've had my fair share of what is considered good Mexican food and tacos. This is it though. This is the peak. I don't need to say much more. If you like tacos and you live in the Permian Basin this is it. (4.9 Stars)

Hidden gem! This family-run taco spot is low-key, cash or Venmo only, and absolutely worth it. Unique taco options you won't find anywhere else--flavorful, fresh, and unforgettable. No frills, just great food made with love.

Overall the place was good. The tacos didn't have a lot of flavor. I got the Tejas and Asian tacos. The corn was good. The texture of it was great! The queso was good but just a normal queso. Nothing special.

Fantastic place that takes pride in their tacos . Not fancy and cash or Venmo only but it is totally worth it. Picked 3 and all were delicious. I'll be back to try 3 more. Each taco had a good amount of ingredients and meat. Love that they didn't skimp. Would recommend.

Love the variety of taco flavors and they do have the very BEST Mexican corn ears! The seating inside is quite limited. The outside seating is covered and comfortable with ceiling fans (summer) and heaters (winter).

Food is flavorful and delicious, service is good, ambience is nice. Definitely can't go wrong with the nachos, corn on the cob is a must!

Everything was very good, the frozen margarita excellent, the service very personable. Very nice people. The owner is very friendly. It seems like everyone there really cared about the restaurant. I will be back absolutely.

This is a small taco shop that hits all the marks. Their 4.5 stars are well earned. I hard the coconut Shrimp tacos. Fresh and tender. Owner talked us into trying the corn on the cob. Super delicious! Richard, the owner enjoys giving incredible customer service.

Delicious and flavorful tacos! My dad said the ahi tuna taco was the best taco he's ever had in his life. The staff are great, and converted garage seating is really nice, too.

It's hard for me to actually give this place a review for certain reasons, so I gave it a five star rating. I come here often, the atmosphere its always joyful and fun, almost like a big party. The service is always great, but the food is unpredictable. There are certain times I come in and the food is awesome the next time its just so so, it never is really bad though. So I'd have to say, the high me will give this place a 5 star rating, throw in the hot sauce and I'll give it a 5.5 star rating, the drunk me will only give this place a 4 star rating. If I'm sober, well... I can never remember how I got to this place, so I can't really give this place a sober rating. Pretty sure I'll be eating here again though, just don't know when.

Wow wow wow. this place was so good! had the coconut shrimp taco and the pastor taco with the corn on the cob. 12/10 food and service was great! outdoor seating made it even better. must go here

We got take out and it was phenomenal! We really enjoyed all 5 tacos we tried. It was spendy - probably close to a dollar a bite, but it was very good! We wouldn't be surprised if we see this one on the food network soon. We left very impressed, even our picky eater liked all 5. 1) Holy Pastor - AMAZING 2) Flank Steak - Traditional yet fresh 3) Spicy Shrimp - very good, even for the people that don't like spicy food. 4) The Asian - very good but left a little more to be desired. 5) Tejas - a great take on a traditional American taco

They don't take credit card. So have Venmo or cash. Was over $40 and the food and service weren't great. Chicken was canned and cold. Out of blueberries on dessert and didn't tell us. Charged us for taco we didn't order. One & done. Won't be back.

Solid tacos with flavorful meat and unique toppings. My favorite hands down is the holy pastor, meat is sweet and salty and the pineapples make the dish excellent. Second favorite is spicy shrimp. Seating indoors is dark and minimal but outside has a great patio Only complaint is price, as tacos are nearly $5 a taco Bring cash or use Venmo as a payment

Listing needs to be updated, they do not accept credit cards but do accept Venmo. After placing your order- have them read it back to you. Half our order was wrong.

Did a quick "Yelp and Google" search for Mexican joints to take my Father-in-law (and kids) to for lunch. This place had high reviews so we decided to come here. Having never been here before, I wasn't quite sure how the seating/ordering worked. I asked an employee if we could sit anywhere and she said yes. We picked a table outside. After sitting for a minute, I asked a lady near us if she had been there before. She said, "Yes." And I asked if menus are brought out of it you ordered up front. She said you needed to order and pay up front and they'll bring your food out. I asked the gentleman at the counter if they had any paper menus that we could look at outside, as my Father-in-law was out there. He had one to give me but also walked me through the different tacos they had (fish, beef and chicken) and the specials. He also suggested that since it was our first time, to order 2 tacos as they were decent-sized. My Father-in-law went with 2 "Chick" tacos. I got 3 tacos to split with my 2 kiddos: The Flank, The Asian And Picadillo (a special). We all loved our tacos! I think I liked the Picadillo the best. It had ground beef, potatoes, lettuce, tomato and cheese with a nice spicy kick to it. The Asian was good- but like a fellow customer said while we were talking to them- there is a LOT of slaw on it. The Flank was good as well. I enjoyed the flavor but some of the meat was chewy/hard to bite. For 5 tacos and 2 sodas, we paid $27.50. This place is CASH ONLY! I never carry cash but I had grabbed some earlier that day. (How weird is that?!) All the employees were very friendly, especially the gentleman at the counter who helped me. He also came by while we were outside and asked how everything was. I'd love to come back and try more of their tacos!

Amazing eclectic and original tacos. Loved all of the taco varieties. Different fusions offered to please everyone. Food was high quality and staff was very friendly.

Lived here in the Midland area for about six years now never knew this place was here. Had a friend tell me it was good so I thought ai would check it out. This is a bit off the beaten path sitting in town right under your nose have to really look for it to find it but it is worth it. Taco are dare I say the best Midland has to offer. Fresh and really good flavor. Sauces are good but no real heat to it. But thats me. Bring cash or use venmo as they do not take cards. There is a atm inside though.

Went with my neighbor to the best taco place in Midland, Taco diVino. She had the Spicy Shrimp taco and the Flank taco and I also had the Spicy Shrimp but also had The Chick (I had them without a tortilla and placed on lettuce instead). Tacos from diVino are divine! I would give it a 4.9 only because they're good tortillas not homemade. Other than that the shrimp was great, flank great, veggies crisp and tomatillo awesome. Best tacos since CA.

I did NOT know Midland had this hidden gem. A coworker sent me a picture of their food one day and after inquiring, they told me it was at Taco di Vino. Went there on a Saturday just before 1PM. It wasn't crowded yet, but there was a steady flow of people coming in. At once, I just really liked how warm and cozy it was on the inside. They have regular menus but it's also written on chalk boards on the wall. It IS a CASH ONLY establishment. The good thing is they have an ATM as soon as you walk in. The prices on the menu are per taco. They come in corn tortillas. I like that the menu is very eclectic. I ordered the Crabby Lobster and the Avo tacos. Had a glass of wine with my meal - they also have beers if that's your preference. The staff were all very pleasant and welcoming, attentive to our needs and helpful in recommending menu items. Can I just say, I was SO HAPPY when my tacos came out. There was REAL lobster meat and REAL crab meat on my taco! We sat in the outdoor seating, which is actually kind of enclosed (a good thing too from the Midland dust) with transparent tarp, so you still feel like you're outside. The music was upbeat Latino vibe, which really added to the vibe of the place. The server checked on us regularly, and cleared up any plate/glass soon as we were done. I really like it here and I will go back, for sure!

They need to change out their TORTILLAS. They're hard and always break. The taco filling and variety are amazing, great atmosphere, corn is on point. Overall great place but the TORTILLAS knock it down. Also it's a cash only place, recently accepting Venmo or CashApp.

Nothing but the best of service, Ingredients, and people at this joint. The wine selections with the tacos should speak for themselves. Rest assured, it's cash only (and it's brilliant) but it works for This locally owned shop. We come at least once a week and love it. Great music and even better staff. Can't wait to come back!

I've heard lots of good things about this place so wanted to check it out. I love seafood so I was excited to see they have several seafood tacos. I got the ahi tuna and spicy shrimp tacos to start. The ahi tuna is in a crispy taco. Tasty but it falls apart. The spicy shrimp was fantastic. I went back for a coconut shrimp taco. It was awesome. It is a little sweet but if you like coconut shrimp you will love it. This is a cool place. I'll definitely be back.

Bring Cash! The food here is unique and amazing. The beer is cold. Don't think normal simple tacos.

If I could give 6 stars I would! I love this place the food is soooo good. The only this is you'd better bring cash or have a venmo because they don't take cards!!

One of the most annoying establishments I have ever been to. Im assuming to avoid paying taxes they only accept cash or venmo. There is an ATM but of course there is a service charge. They dont give you glasses of water its bottled water at 1.50 ea. Tacos are brought out on a tray so if you order a variety it's difficult to differentiate. There is no waitress. The ambiance has a modern El Paso feel to it. The music is pleasant but then there are the annoying Spotify ads. The food was good. The street corn had a sweet element to it. The pastor tacos also had a sweet mole kind of sauce. Some of the tacos could have used some acidity, like salsa, to cut through the rich flavors. Not worth the hoops you have to jump through before you sit down

The is food ok used to be better when they had better tortilla for their taco now it just seems like it's a store-bought. But toppings great.

We're in Midland, TX for my wife's graduation and decided to stop at a local taco place. My wife found this place on our drive over here to Midland since it was close to the college and we had time before her rehearsal. We always like to give the locals a chance to thrill us. I will say this about this place, the menu is very eclectic. There are lots of choices to choose from in tacos. This not your everyday taqueria that's for sure and I'm not sure they even want to be considered as one. So in saying that, I feel that some of the flavors you normally seek in a taco are lost, or at least that I seek. We ordered the flank steak taco, the Tejas, the confit, and he threw in an asian taco. I wasn't wowed about any of the tacos unfortunately. Sometimes too much, can take away from a taco and totally turn it into something else, which is what I felt here. We also had the corn on the cob and that was the bomb! I am giving this place 5 stars for the hospitality we received from either the manager or the owner. He made us feel welcomed and even threw in an extra taco for us to try. Again, the food wasn't terrible, it just didn't have a wow factor for me, others may say otherwise which is cool.

This place is amazing! I ordered three tacos including The Holy Pastor, The Flank, and The Tejas with a side of corn on the cob. While all three were delicious, The Flank was my absolute favorite. It's a shame I don't live out here or this place would be on regular rotation. Very highly recommended!

Went here for the forst time after living here for over a year and OMG!!! The tacos were so good! I will definitely be going here more often! You order your food at the front and pay and they will bring it to you (if they aren't slam packed busy). Has a nice dim lit inside seating area and a nice little covered outside seating area. Absolutely perfect place to go have a nice lunch with some friends. I've driven by here almost every day for over a year and just now finding it!

This is probably my favorite taco shop in Midland. They have some unique options if you want something out of the norm and they have some basic tacos for the picky eater. This place even has a vegetarian option. I highly suggest trying their sides because they are very delicious. I will be back. Don't forget to bring cash because that's all they accept!

The Asian tacos was Boooomb!!!! We got 3 different ones to try but that chicken far outshined the fish or the avocado taco! Chips and queso were good as well. 10/10 get the Asian taco!

I went there and I knew the tacos were gonna be very expensive and I thought...I just wanna try them and see for myself. I ordered two for 5.50 each. but the cashier said cash only...I always get a bad vibe when its cash only but what they do with their taxes is none of my business. Anyway, I didnt have cash and he said there was an ATM next to the register...so on top of overpricing, they make money off the ATM fee...so I skipped the ATM and just left. I didnt bother returning because I knew my expectations of the taco was gonna be very high and I was gonna be disappointed.. I figured no one was forcing me to pay for overpriced tacos Its the principle.

Some of the best taco's in the midland area. When I moved, I used to miss Torchy's and Velvet Taco from the Houston Area. I am so glad I found Taco Di Vino, their interesting and delicious takes on ingredients is worth it! Cash only but there is an ATM there. Definitely try the corn and their monthly specials!

We had a very enjoyable experience there. A little different. More homey than most restaurants. Very good service and quaint environment. The food was good and delicious. We had a variety of 4 different tacos and the nachos. The owner Ricardo Padilla , pictured with myself and my wife , was very courteous as was the staff. We will be coming back.
