"You’ll find Taco Mamacita’s stellar margaritas and vegan tortilla soup in Germantown as well as in Chattanooga, where the restaurant started (it’s a sibling to that city’s essential Community Pie pizzeria). Along with enchiladas suiza, shredded chicken topped with mole roja, and a selection of sides that includes Mexican street corn and charros beans, the busy restaurant offers trendy decor and an exclusively vegan menu upon request." - Clara Wang, Jackie Gutierrez-Jones

Loved this restaurant! We actually picked it only because of a nearby appointment, but we were so impressed. We tried the chips and salsa as well as the loaded chicken nachos (Must try!!). Then we had their triple taco combo and ordered some shrimp and chicken tacos that were so good that we ordered another round of them. The avocado jalapeno margarita was to die for!

I popped into this restaurant for lunch and was impressed with the vibe, superb service, and top-notch food quality. My highlight was undoubtedly the barbacoa tacos, bursting with flavor and perfectly paired with a side of chicken tortilla soup. The soup was a delightful blend of fresh ingredients, with a light, flavorful broth—a truly satisfying and healthy lunch choice. I left feeling completely satisfied.

We stopped by for to-go tacos for my fiancé and they had the tacos out within 10 minutes. I accidentally left my credit card at the stand and the waiter sought us out outside the restaurant to return it to us. All three of the servers were incredibly friendly and welcoming. Normally I don’t leave a tip for take out, but I did for these wonderful employees. My fiancé loved the food so much, that I returned to get tacos for my own. They were wonderful. Highly recommend!

Went here for a taco Tuesday date night and I was so pleased with how yummy the food was. We got the chips and guac to start and then the hot chicken taco, taco royale (my favorite), and the birria quesadilla. All the ingredients felt very fresh and I enjoyed it all. I will definitely be back when it’s not a weeknight because their tequila list is extensive!

A delightful dinner - After being seated straightaway at the bar, we had some lovely seasonal sangria and a delicious meal of tacos and quesadillas. The only non-preferred experiment of the evening was finding a chicken bone in the quesadilla, but that’s an understandable mistake. On the whole - still a great experience. Will go again.

The service was excellent and the place has a really cool industrial vibe. One cool element is that they serve “skinny” margaritas which is somewhat uncommon at restaurants. The food was really good, too. If they are looking to improve one thing—-it would be to not charge for chips and salsa. That’s always a downer simply bc when you go to most Mexican restaurants, that is something you don’t have to pay for. The gourmet tacos are also really good.

I’ve been enjoying Taco Mamacita for awhile, but yesterday was the first time I’ve been able to dine here at their new location. The food was wonderful as always! I tried the (new to me) Fried Avocado, Cauliflower and Chorizo-Potato Taco’s. They were delicious! My fave was the Cauliflower! Amazing. Like the new atmosphere. It’s brighter, a bit more open and a lot less noisy. The service was top notch, with several folks taking care of us quickly and with a friendly smile.

Best “non-authentic” tacos I’ve had in quite some time. Service at the bar was great, they were super friendly and attentive while clearly being very busy. Drink was perfect, tacos were great, can’t ask for much else!
