"Walking up to Taco Master on East Riverside feels like stepping into a private party. The trailer is attached to a semi-permanent structure made mostly of plywood and corrugated sheet metal, with a giant trompo spinning next to a handful of picnic tables. All around, there’s music blasting while people line up for the self-serve salsa bar. The tender meat is shaved razor-thin and served directly onto small, double-stacked corn tortillas. Show up from 5-9pm on weekdays and they’re two-for-one. " - nicolai mccrary

Little taco truck with a decent sized deck attached. It sits in a parking lot between an auto parts store and a check cashing place on Riverside. Riverside is booming with construction and a lot of new people moving in so you’ll mingle with labradoodles and day laborers. They do one thing well and that’s their pastor. They have different meats on the menu but it’s a pastoricito and says so everywhere. Haha. I think where people get confused on price is that they run a weekday special of 2 tacos for the price of 1. That usually ends at 9pm. After 9pm and on weekends the tacos are $3.50 ea and go up from there. If you’re driving by and see the spit making fresh pastor be sure and stop by.

Taco al pastor are unbeatable, so juicy and flavorful! The salsas are also so good and love that they keep it outside so you can take as much as you want on the taco. Get everything on the taco if you love cilantro and onions, corn tortillas and jalapeño on the side - it makes the perfect taco combination for me. They also have 2x1 deal from 5-9pm, such a great deal for tacos!

Food was good very tasty.. Visited on a Saturday around 11pm I got like a family combo and asked if I could buy extra tortillas but they don't sell any... Witch is weird since they sell tacos but ... OK

1st time trying this place and 🤢. Don’t recommend. We purchased fajita quesadillas and they did not taste anything like fajitas. Never going back here again! Should of gone to Rosita’s instead, they never let me down.

**Review: A Hidden Gem** I recently visited this place, and it was a fantastic experience. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, perfect for spending time with family or friends. The quality of what they offer is excellent, with everything being fresh and well-prepared. Despite the high quality, the prices are very affordable, providing great value for money. Overall, this place is a wonderful spot for quality offerings in a great environment at a reasonable price. Highly recommended!

OMG I had an asada and a pollo taco. The tortillas were unreal and the taco chef is a 5 Star Plus!!!

Went there last night and tripa taco had like rocks or bones or plastic or something insane inside it. I hurt my tooth filling. Inedible. Very disappointed because the pastor was good. Also 2x1 tacos banner outside doesn’t apply on weekend nights so false advertising.

Once I saw the meat on the “trompo” I knew it was gonna be good so I had to try it. Man those pastor tacos were rly good. It’s easy to order and they have 2 containers where y can get your own sauce. Highly recommend these street tacos.
