You are guaranteed to get full or have leftovers! I got a Bean, Rice, and Cheese burrito that was huge! The service was great and helpful when I had questions. I had to eat my burrito in sections because it was so big, and I enjoyed every bit of it. With flavor that pops and a great price, it is a must that you come by and try! You will regret that you took so long to stop by.

Taco Mel is my family’s new Mexican takeout restaurant. I was looking for another Mexican takeout, the corporate owned joins no longer satisfy my tastes and there was so many YouTube reviews of Taco Mel, I just had to give Taco Mell a try. I got one beef burrito. Four people in my household got to sample it; everyone thought the taste was AMAZING!!!!!!!!!. The first week we ordered three times. Burritos and quesadillas (beef and chicken) and we can’t wait to try the whole menu!!

Steak burrito was ABSOLUTE FIRE. 9.2/10 I ordered the steak burrito and added sour cream and guac. The total was only $12 after the add-ins which is awesome considering portion size and price compared to other places. Without add-ins it's only $9. You can taste all of the flavors and the ingredients taste fresh. The burrito is nice and juicy unlike a lot of places which are usually dry. I also got the green sauce to try which is sweet and has a subtle kick which is nice if you don't like spicy. Can't forget to mention this is one of the few black-owned Mexican spots and they definitely do it well. I'm always critical when I give reviews and don't give scores just to give them. I would DEFINITELY recommend this place. There is usually a line but the wait isn't too long so don't let the wait make you walk away. My only critique is that the meat was just slightly chewy, but I'm just nitpicking here. I'll definitely be back to try more.

Gordolicious catering has the best tacos in town and their customer service is exceptional! I hired them for my daughter's birthday party and they made me feel like family. My family couldn't get enough of the food and their prices are very reasonable.

AMAZING!!!!!!!!! I CAN'T RAVE ENOUGH ABOUT THIS SPOT!!!! I had a shrimp bowl instead of the nachos today, but man o man...I have to say it was such a great choice. Thank you again to Mell for his amazing and kind customer service. I will drive more than 2 hours your way if I ever have to.

I just got their nachos and they hit!!! They use Doritos too. My homegirl told me about this spot said they used to be in Compton and now in leimert park. Anyways I’m going back to try so much more!

I'm at a lost for words! All I can say is umm this food!!! Today I ordered a burrito bowl, two steak tacos. I also ordered three meats burrito for myself! This food is so GOOD!!! This business listens and cares about us the consumers reviews. I admire that! I seen the new options on the app!!! Now back to the food! The burrito bowl was good the chicken was tender and tasty! The steak tacos were excellent I could smell the grilled steak I ordered crispy shells ...so yummy!! My three meat burrito was made to perfection! ALL of the food was very filled with flavor! Thank you!!!!

This is a review from #NOT4$ale626 Haven't heard about this catering place until this event. Apparently there are restaurants too? Anyway, the tacos were awesome! The shells really stuck out to me. Not only that, but the sprinkles of cheese at the bottom were a nice surprise. Great meats within the tacos (had beef and chicken). Loved the sauce too. It was a slight kick so it brought the tacos to another level. Would recommend!

Yummy n good hood tacos! I got the steak n shrimp burrito per the employees suggestion and got a few tacos to bring home and snack on later. Everything tasted fresh, was flavorful and a pretty quick order/get food process. Idk what they do to the shell of the tacos but they're kinda grilled and just elevate the taco. I truly couldn't tell you if they were flour or corn bc I didn't think about what I was eating until it was all gone. Oops. Next time!

Taco Mell has been on my bookmarks list for at least three years with tales of their legendary three meat burrito. Finally, stuck in my office during covid one day I caved and ordered what turned out to be a rock solid burrito. Star 1: How were the service and atmosphere? I had my burrito delivered, so I can't speak to Taco Mell's shop or service, but I've only heard good things and my delivery couldn't have been faster. This burrito was literally in the Uber Eats car minutes after ordering - it was impressive. Star. Star 2: How were the portions relative to the cost? $14.00 may seem like a lot for a burrito, but this was a monstrosity filled with chicken, steak, and shrimp. Well worth it and it could have easily covered two meals. Star. Stars 3 and 4: How was the food? This was a solid burrito. The meats came together in a way that works, and the peripherals like the beans and onions and the like, while a bit heavy, brought it all together. Single Star. Star 5: Would you be excited to go back? Definitely. Good stuff. Star.

Quality food for a great price, staff was friendly too! It doesn't get better than this. Shout out taco Mell's, Chipotle better watch its back!

It's sad to even have to write this review, I've heard so many good things. This food I just had delivered to me is a waste of money!!!! I got the 3 meat combo bowl & a large kool aid. I asked for the sauce in the side, they drowned the damn food in sauce( Sauce on the side should be a no brainer when delivering food) Gauc was $1 extra look at what I got Got No Cilantro, Onions, nothing that was advertised. The beef & chicken are both salty as hell! Can't even eat it. The shrimp is ok only 4 of them in the whole bowl. The Rice is mushy definitely not fresh. Shit was $21 for trash. Ate 3 bites and got a stomach ache immediately. I called the restaurant and they never picked up. I will never order here again, don't waste your money legit this is not cool at all.

Highly recommend for super tasty tacos! On the days that I'm vegetarian or just super hungry and in need of a quick bite that's super fulfilling, I head here for the BRC tacos! Beans, Rice and Cheese Tacos! They really hit the spot and taste SOOOO GOOOD with the chipotle salsa! Very affordable and fulfilling leaving my mouth watering with a delicious after taste like every time I eat them!

The food was GREAT and the services was wonderful. They had no idea of what they were stepping into when they showed up to cater my Ladies' Not Out event. They served over 70 women in one night chicken, steak and shrimp tacos. We had a marvelous time and enjoyed all the love they poured into serving us.

First and foremost congratulations are in order. Started from the bottom now they're here. When you go from a street corner to a packed store front you deserve all the praise and glory that come along with that accomplishment. Of course we had to get the three meat burrito. The portion size was enough for two meals even though I ate it in one. The three meat had chicken, carne asada, and shrimp. All the meats were perfectly tender and the rice and beans were seasoned just right. I only have one complaint and that's that my $12 burrito only had 4 shrimp in it.

I always see people raving about this place in different social media platforms so I definitely had my eye and bookmark on this place. My brother decided to take us, there's construction on chrenshaw so if you're not from this area prepare for traffic, difficulty parking, cones, streets cut off etc When you enter it's not to spacious nowhere to really sit and enjoy your food if you want to eat there. I ordered the 3 meat burrito (shrimp, chicken, steak) it comes with rice, beans, onions & cilantro I request no beans, paid 50 cent extra for cheese and use my check in to order a free chicken taco. Total $12.59 As soon as I'm done paying for it the guy was already handing me the bag with my food in it, I suppose the meat is already cooked so it makes it faster than cooking when you order. I wasn't to concerned as I would be because since it was so busy I could understand why the meat was already prepared. I get home Unravel my baby burrito, the first thing I noticed the tortilla itself on the outside was extremely greasy! Every bite I took I kept getting residue on my mouth and it felt like I was trying to consume Vaseline. The steak was salty and tough it tasted exactly like a Slim Jim, the chicken was good probably the best part because the shrimp was vague there was barely any in my burrito but I'm going to blame it on the fact that I had 2 other proteins in my burrito. I tried both the red and green salsa the red was caliente while the green had a slight kick both good. The chicken taco was yummy, I didn't finish my burrito it just wasn't all that to me, if I ever go back I'll stick with the tacos. I love to see black owned business thrive and flourish, I hope you guys can benefit the community as we continue to support this establishment.

After following the Taco Mell IG account for the past few months I finally saw the restaurant when I was driving down Crenshaw one day and decided to stop to get lunch. It is right behind a gate where the city is doing construction so that is why I never noticed the location before. I ordered the chicken and steak burrito with everything and ordered my friend the 3 meat burrito bowl. The burrito was HUGE. Like HUGE huge. I was only able to take a few bites before I was stuffed, but it was really good! The meat was flavorful, the red and green salsas were on point. In hindsight, I wished I would have got the bowl because it was also a lot of food, minus the tortilla. I also want to try the nachos! The customer service was great and it was nice to see the restaurant being run by a group of black men. The parking is tricky because of the construction. I was lucky enough to find a spot on the street a few doors down, but it looked like people were parking in a lot around the corner and walking on the side of the building to get in.

The flavors were great but the meat was OVER seasoned which didn't really make the 3 meat burr too enjoyable. I don't know maybe I had a bad batch? ‍ Update: So I'm changing my review to 2 stars because I ordered online and ordered a steak and shrimp burrito but they sent me steak and chicken. This has actually happened to me before when I've ordered through an app but I never said anything about it because I wasn't tripping, after all their flavors are bomb and I love supporting my black businesses, but this has been the 3rd time they've messed up my order through online services and now I'm here. This time around, I ordered 10mins after they opened. So they probably didn't have the shrimp ready? But no excuse, If you are out of shrimp or whatever ingredients the least you can do is call the customer and let them know if they'd like to substitute or just let them know period! This is really disappointing because it has happened 3 times to me now . Bomb food but your staffs communication needs to come up!

Been coming here for about a year now. First started drooling over the tacos and burritos on Instagram and I HAD to try. That 3-meat burrito is my FAVE! Consistently good food and service. Not gonna lie, a lot of "urban" establishments tend to skimp on the service but this place is nowhere close to that. They are always on point. I always order on the app and EVERY time that I go inside to pick up, the all-male staff addresses me by name and is sure to thank me for coming in. It's delightfully refreshing to have this level of courtesy and professionalism, in the neighborhood. I appreciate that. Keeps me coming back (well that and that three meat!) Plus that red sauce is ON!!!

First time having his truck in Lancaster and was letting all his family members cut infront of paying customers after the 20th person to cut in line I just left because 2hrs is already to long but letting people cut is a big no no so unprofessional I even congratulated him on his new truck on my first arrival and that was even blut no eye contact or nothing just horrible customer service even other people around me felt the same way!

I used to go to this place before they pandemic all the time . I recently took my boyfriend since I was in the area . The food is still good , just wish my shell was fried a little longer . I am so happy the chipotle sauce is still a hit . Will be back soon

So bomb. Each time I visit the food is good. My favorite is the shrimp burrito with guacamole. Kool aid here is a must try. Next time I'm going to try the tacos.

i went to this place the other day. i ordered a 3 meat burrito. that was all i ate that. i got the burrito around 3 with a watermelon kool-aid. and was eating it throughout the day. the next day (yesterday) i woke up in the worst pain ever. i was on the toilet from 10:30 - 12:30 and it was back to back. i also was throwing up all day. i tried contacting them in there Dms. no response. my cousin also emailed them. once again no response. we both were sick all day. the next day (today) my stomach is fine. but now i have a fever (chills). this place has to be unsanitary because could possibly get this sick over a burrito. yall are gross.

Everyone that knows me know I love a good burrito! This place is no different. I got the 3 meat burrito! Every bite had a shrimp. The chicken and steak was seasoned well and the guca was bomb. Staff is friendly, ingredients are fresh and everyone was full and satisfied. Now it does look closed from the outside. Thats bcuz of construction just call to make sure and go support. Tip: parking is limited so have someone go with you, so you can hop out and go.

I was in LA for the weekend and made the trek out to Taco Mell's spot for a burrito. It was a little hard to find the location, there's major construction going on next door ~ tall fences and large construction equipment. It's at the end of a row of shops, about a block from Leimert Park. The shop is pretty clean. ATM machine available at the entrance. Plan on getting your order to-go, they don't have any tables to sit at. We ordered 2 burritos - one 3 meat with cheese and a 2 meat with sour cream and cheese. 2 kool-aids. Came to $30 - that's a damn expensive meal I can't sit down and enjoy. This is why 4 stars and not 5 stars. Kool-aid was on the sweeter side, several flavors to choose from. I picked red AKA tropical punch. The burritos were good. Nice size, plenty of fillings. The meat was flavorful and well cooked, not overdone. I don't know it's just me but the carne asada tasted like it was seasoned with taco seasoning. But I like tacos, so... They do have a yelp check in offer. When I'm back in the area, I'll brave that atrocious LA traffic and go back. I guess SD has me spoiled, a taco shop that closes at 7 on a Friday??

Support black businesses but also tell truths. My truth is that taco Mell is lackluster. Very salty and not edible the next day. Usually leftovers are better but I did not finish my bland chicken burrito and finished it the next day. It was worse. I've been a few times thinking my taste buds may have been off. They are not.

Ok so I've heard about this burrito for a while now and finally had the chance to stop by their spot. It's been open for a year and I had no idea. If you can't get to their spot or are short on time no worries they have an app where you can order for pick up and have a food truck; I follow them on Instagram and that's where I see the post for the store hours along with truck location and hours. They are located on Crenshaw maybe 1/2 to 1 block from Leimert Park. There is some major construction going on so the store front is hard to see but plenty of parking in the back and get this it's only .25 for 30 minutes WINNING. Now onto the food. They have several different options but are famous for the 3 meat burrito we're talking chicken beef and shrimp yeah I said it right 3 meat!!! We lol it was only supposed to be him opted for two meat chicken and shrimp and when I say they do not play with the portions just check out my pics. Everything is seasoned full of flavor. Customer service was on point. I definitely recommend checking them out.

Would have given 5 star the burrito was delicious and the koolaid it was on point ..however if you have options for sour cream a dollar extra guacamole a dollar extra you should put on a burrito or take it off the damn menu because I paid $12 for a burrito I would've paid $9 4 because I didn't get my extra condiments or the cook doesn't know how to read the items on the order...would order burrito again but not the extras matter of fact I did NOT even get the basic red sauce or cilantro or onions that comes with the burrito ... I would have paid $36.00 instead I paid $42 for items I didn't receive. You've been warned don't get the EXTRA cause u pay extra for EXTRA NOTHING lol

When your office executive assistant says " I'm going to Taco Mell, do you want anything?" I said yeah! I had 3 shrimp tacos, which was very simple but sooooo delicious. The tortillas was grilled perfectly, full plump shrimp, but somehow they missed the hot sauce, or taco sauce or whatever they use. I missed that sauce because I think that would've give the tacos more of a Mexican-y taste. Otherwise, they were satisfying for lunch. I'm a supporter of the urban chef movement and Taco Mell is a great addition to the lineup. Try them, you'll like it!

YO! Ive lived in Los Angeles my whole friggin Life and I promise you this is one of the BEST BURRITOS OR TACOS you will find! They season the meat to perfection (others may find the steak a tad Salty) and the portions are huge. 2 meat burrito w/ cheese guac and sour cream cost me about $13 but niccccaaaaaaaaa, its WORTH IT. The shrimp are bomb too. Service was great- the guys move fast and they are super friendly. Call ahead! Definitely going to check out their catering menu for parties. Parking is Trash. People Fight for parking in the back around lunch time - verbal altercations! Then when u do find a spot its next to a crackhead. I swear if the local crackheads tamper with my parked vehicle I will unwrap my burrito and Smoosh it in they FACE. 5 STARS!

Ordered through the app and it wasn't ready when I got there, but they had it together in like 2-3 minutes. Staff is cool, but parking sucks over there because of the stupid train construction. Oh, and the hours are from 12-5 so it's not convenient for the average working person...unless you happen to work in that area. The burrito itself is bomb. I got the surf n turf with chicken and shrimp. I was only able to tackle half. (No worries, the other half will not be wasted.)

I ordered a steak burrito with everything added ( substituted the pinto with black beans) OMG it was sooooo delicious. The steak was so tender, juicy and seasoned perfectly! I shall return!!!

TACO HELL CATERING I wish there was a zero star rating!! I love to support black owned businesses however Taco Hell has been a nightmare! Our first catering experience was when they did not show up or call for my nephews graduation party. My sister was given $150 credit for them ruining her sons graduation party. We hosted a family gathering opted to give them a 2nd chance. They arrived 3 hours late, this time but hey at least they showed after we called several times. Well since they were late, the food was great right....NOPE!! The server took about an hour to set up and wait for it....the food was COLD!! This guy was full it... I mean he gave every excuse in the book as to why he was late, why the propane tank was leaking, why he thought he didn't need a propane tank, why the owner didn't tell him this or that excuse after excuse after the EXCUSE! Never ma'am I'm sorry what can I do to rectify the situation. If you want the hell experience, Taco Mel is the place to go. HORRIBLE!!! You've been warned!!

They know how to make some good burritos here! The burritos and tacos have that homemade taste that's not manufactured and processed like many restaurant chains. The ingredients taste fresh and the chicken, steak, and shrimp are quality. I prefer the "surf and turf" burrito (chicken & shrimp) with chipotle sauce. The shrimp is seasoned just right and not over cooked while the chicken is hearty, flavorful, and juicy. The burritos are big enough to split especially if you get the famous "3 Meat." This LA food movement is boomin' and I'm happy to see these young, black, entrepreneurs do their thang. Welcome to the neighborhood! Tips: -limited hours (12:30 to 5pm M-Sat) follow social media pages for important updates -no call in orders -surcharge for debit/credit cards so have cash handy -be patient there is usually a wait, I've had success between the hours of (1-3pm) -free parking in the back lot

The three meat burrito, must say it was delicious. They kinda have it set up like a Chipotle station, but charge extra for sour cream, guacamole or cheese. I don't have any complaints burrito was spot on and friendly staff.

I used to frequent their Lakewood location before it closed down. The steak tacos are great. As a taco connoisseur, I thoroughly enjoy their own twist to the taco by the way that they make the tortilla a little crunchy and the flavor by adding cheese and the way that the meat is marinated. The 3 meat burrito is also their specialty and is definitely worth trying. This is a worthy spot to try without question.

After 4 tries I give up on Tmc the first tyI had it was a catered babyshower (tacos) and I thought it was nothing special outside what I do at home. Then I heard the hype about the 3 meat burrito so I tried it. SALTYYY AF! I tried giving it away but everyone thought the same. I tried again weeks later eliminating the cheese hoping to reduce the salt... nope. Still salty! The last time was a chicken burrito not bad still a little salty but tolerable.

I finally stopped in Taco Mell's to get the Tacos everyone at the salon were talking about and they didn't lie. These are some of the tastiest tacos! I had one of each steak, chicken and shrimp tacos. The tacos come with onions and cilantro (which I love) but I added the cheese and sour cream that was recommended at the Salon. So friggin good! I will definitely be back with my friends and family!

First time and definitely won't be my last! The food was great, and they had great portions. I got a three meat bowl and you know how you're like "man I wish it had more chicken or less rice" etc. that never crossed my mind. It was the right amount of everything!

I literally planned on experiencing the Killer Nachos in my sleep. So I made my own dream come true and damn I'm happy I did. I tried the Killer Nachos with Shrimp and Chicken with everythang on them (guacamole, Pico, chipotle sauce, olives, jalapeños). I wish I could have recorded my reaction to opening the box and being amazed at what was mines. I was so shocked and ready to eat, I had to hurry up and get the pictures and videos. I smashed these damn nachos slowly lol. They were amazing, the green onions set it off for me. They were not shy on the meat at all, the BEST NACHOS EVER! Can y'all make these available on Sunday's too?

Updating my previous review. Maybe it was an off day or the person that prepared my burrito was having an off day. I watched as my order was prepared along with another order. Once again I ordered the three meat burrito only difference is that whatever he grabbed for the other order mine received the left over in his hand...meaning he grabbed a hand full of cheese, the and what was left he put on my burrito. I had a total of three shrimps compared to my first visit. The person with me also ordered a two meat burrito and explain to me why her burrito was fuller than mine? I believe in supporting black owned businesses but this visit will be my last. And to think I was bragging about the food and service here.

Small setup but big flavor. Tips -Its To-go only no seats or tables but fast service and air conditioning. -Not really familiar with the area but construction is going on real close to the place, so it might be kinda hard finding free parking, try the neighborhood streets. - Know what you want, no real menu but its chipotle-esque. Burrito,bowl, taco,etc (choose meat) - If you dont know what you want ,Get the 3 meat burrito and find a place to sleep once the itis starts hitting.

So after following this page on Insta for over a year I decided to try it during a drive from Sac to AZ after driving since 4 am this was my 1st and only stop in LA. I love to support small businesses and these brothers have a large following wts I was expecting a lot. Pros: The Killmonger is the kind of Kool-aid we've all made as kids and turned into icees, drinking it however proved to be somewhat difficult as it's overly sweet (this looked nothing like the pics but as long as it tastes the same I'm usually ok with it) The ability to order 3 different meats in 1 burrito. They separate the cilantro and onions (thx for this) Friendly waitstaff Fast service Cons No chips Meat is seasoned more for a taco night party at home and not a taqueria. The cheese inside the burrito is like a Kraft blend which is a downer if they just used jack or a Mexican soft cheese it could make this more authentic The green sauce was lack luster and unnecessarily spicy all at the same time. I hope the owners are open to Suggestions here are a few Less sugar in the kool-aid (just a little less) Less seasoning on the beef, use carne asada on the flat grill (trust me) Mexican cheese not Kraft blend Offer lettuce and salsa inside burritos Offer chips with orders Drink menu needs pics as well maybe a pineapple Agua Fresca, or strawberry/melon in addition to kool aid. The kids you hire should know if u sell chips I like that this is a smaller business, I love supporting local folks even if I'm visiting from out of town, wts I want to add 2 more stars for them responding to constructive feedback. I really liked the atmosphere so I'll be back and I'm askin for a lemon in that Killmonger something tart to balance out the sweet. Best burrito in LA! I usually get the shrimp burrito since I'm pescatarian (at times) and man! Whole burrito melt in your mouth and worth every buck . Wish I lived closer or I'd be there everyday ! The guys working there are cool and make you feel at home and they got all the jokes ! Again I say, best burrito in LA.

I've been following taco mell from the beginning. I seen a post on his ig page that he would be in Oakland that day.. Ain't God Good?! We arrived at Oakland Complex pop up and waited in that very long line... you would've thought he was sellin the new Yeezys or somethin lol but that just shows that the support is real from the bay to la, when I tell you that, that was Thee Best Burrito I have EVER had! I got the three meat burrito and just let me tell you this.. please believe the hype b/c the hype is right!! Great service and amazing food (perfectly seasoned)! Support black owned businesses y'all. That boy uh genius
