We used Taco Naco for our wedding in May, & 3 months later we’re still receiving compliments on how much our guests LOVED it! Super easy to book in advance, and even worked with us to add a vegetarian option last minute. Reasonably priced, amazing service, flawless set-up, & bonus points for leaving leftovers. We love going to the OP location & can’t wait to be back!

Food was fantastic. Great guacamole and I had Quesa Birria which was so flavorful! The consume was just delicious it had an ancho chili taste I really like

Google
This place has been recommended a few times by people who enjoy Mexican food. This was my first time visiting Taco Naco KC during lunch hour. For the positives: *Great tiendita vibes as you walk-in the restaurant, the place is very inviting *Service was great and quick during lunch hour. Unfortunately there’s some negatives, and it’s all about the food: *Tortillas felt cold even though the service was fast. I’d didn’t feel like the tortillas or the meat in the pastor and carne asada touched the plancha *Flavor was not great on the asada and pastor tacos, perhaps due to the temperature of the food. As a taco lover, temperature dictates a lot of the food flavor, it’s like eating menudo cold, it just doesn’t taste good. *I tried 3 different salsas and honestly, they didn’t bring any flavor along with them. The hot salsa was mild at best. *Lastly, for the price there’s much better options around. Paying $30 for an order (5) of tacos and a drink is kinda steep, especially if the food doesn’t live up to the price. I hope I don’t sound like a hater, I really wanted to love this place since the more taco options the better, in my opinion, however I doubt I’ll pay another visit soon.

Google
Al Pastor taco absolutely slaps !! Solid tacos but overall a bit too pricey for me considering the quantity of food. I would be open to trying more on the menu, but for now, 4 stars!

Google
So I would definitely go back. I tried three of their tacos, the ground beef, the barbacoa, and The el pastor all were excellent. As was the MARGARITA. Not expected in a taquea. Check out the photo. The presentation was spectacular. Hubs had the burrito Barbacoa burrito which is made with brisket. He said there was plenty of brisket in that burrito. The staff was friendly, and on my visit. They lived up to their good reputation.

Google
Fun vibe, great menu, good experience. They put Tajin on the rim of the margaritas so if you're into that it's great - the flower margaritas were so pretty! Portions were large.

From day of opening, Taco Naco has been a local favorite! The people are great, food is delicious & the bright atmosphere is fun!

Google
The food here is excellent. As the name implies, they offer an extensive range of taco options. Even the basic stuff is considerably better than the average Mexican restaurant. I got the burrito with chips and salsa on the side, and everything was made fresh and prepared with attention to flavors and textures. The service was friendly and efficient. Though I liked the bistro/bodega ambience, I think I'll get my order to go from now on. The plastic cutlery was nowhere near the equal of the burrito. The chairs were somewhat uncomfortable. And I accidentally ended up dining during a live music session, which rendered conversation impossible.

Yelp
Ok, so let me start by saying that my fiancé & I come here around one time a month & we love it! However, usually when we come we order to dine & today decided to do takeout. The order only consisted of 4 tacos: 2 fish, 1 shrimp, & 1 barbacoa. When I got back home & bit into the shrimp it was instant mush, same thing with the other two fish tacos. I firmly believe that they were undercooked as a result of having a lot of big orders & were likely rushing. I also didn't receive two of the salsas I had asked for & are listed on my receipt. Overall, I generally recommend this place if you are in the area, but I believe dining in is a safer bet. I am giving this review three stars since the worker I spoke with on the phone was sweet, apologized, & offered a refund.

Yelp
Street tacos are generally like snowflakes: no two are alike. There are good tacos, great tacos, and buckle-your-knees tacos and one can usually tell which is which. Taco Naco tends to be on the knee-buckling end. For starters, it's in the stinkin' name, ya know, TACO Naco, so they must know what they're doing. And oh boy, do they ever. Whether you want something simple and quick or something more, well, artisanal and fancy, this is your jam. My suggestion: get what's seasonal/special. The quesabirria tacos were featured this last time and those three tacos were absolutely a smash. Yeah, it gets messy, but these are *tacos*, not some finger food at a black tie gala. Get involved with your food and thank yourself later. Not to be outdone, my lovely wife had the pork al pastor taco alongside a brisket taco and wowza, are those sensational! The pork al pastor has pineapple sidled up alongside and those two flavors are just besties. I absolutely recommend at least one of those. Pro tip: the Mexican corn salad/salsa is a must-try, if even to share. But a taco needs a flavor profile on top and Taco Naco is bringing seven different levels of flavor and heat in their salsa lineup. You could go mild (very fresh, very flavorful) or heat it up (oh, but that creamy jalapeño) or just get flat on chili head with some habanero salsa. You do you, though, and treat your taco right, because I guarantee that will happen in return. Seating is somewhat limited in colder weather, but when the patio is open, your taco game can be spot on. Order at the counter and the servers and super helpful in helping you identify what you like, or just get some to go and crush your tacos at home. Browse the 'store' as well for Mexican specialty foods, some of Taco Naco's salsas to go, or their meats by the pound. Whatever choice you make, just know these are some of the best taco experiences you can have in the KC Metro and absolutely in the JoCo area.

Yelp
I ordered takeout from Taco Naco. It was good but I agree with some of the other reviews on it being a little pricey for what you actually get. Which makes this a place to eat at seldomly. I get it though, people's prices are their prices. Food ordered: chicken Al pastor taco, brisket barbecoa quesadilla, chips and a super small cup of queso! The taco was good but my favorite was/is the quesadilla. The chips are flavorful. Going back to the cost. $2.10 is crazy for the little bitty cup of queso. It should be .90 cents just like the 1.5 ounce cup of salsa is. I digress though! Overall, their food is pretty good. I'm sure it won't be the last time I go.

Yelp
Came in to Taco Naco on a busy Friday night around 7 and they were *packed*. Parking situation outside wasn't ideal, but fortunately we found a spot. Seemed like about 8:30 it started to thin out a bit, but fair warning that parking will be tricky. The line wasn't long and we were able to get our order in fairly quickly and found an open table (minor miracle). I opted for the breakfast burrito with chorizo and it was pretty good. It reminded me of a better version than you'd get from Sonic or Taco Bell. Nachos were fairly standard with some seasoning, cheese, and fresh jalapenos. Drinks also seemed solid (Jarritos ftw). Food took about 15 minutes to make the scene, which isn't terrible given how busy they were. Overall? This place is good. Good food and drinks while being appropriately priced. As long as you're okay dealing with it being busy, I'd give it a recommendation. But I also wouldn't tell you it's worth making a half hour or longer drive for.

Yelp
Awesome food at both their restaurant and at the Overland Park Farmers Market. We love their chicken al pastor tacos, egg & chorizo tacos, quesadillas, queso and their sauces. The only item we don't love is their birria tacos - the flavor is off and they're too greasy. Everything else has great flavor and is well worth a visit.

Yelp
This is a two part review. My first introduction to Taco Naco was a doordash order of their Quesabirria Soup and two birria tacos. By the time of delivery everything was still heated thoroughly and was delicious. The ramen noodles I was especially amazed that they were cooked perfectly and hadn't over cooked or become soggy by the time I got them. I paired the two tacos with their creamy jalapeno sauce and it was a flavor bomb. So good. A few days later I decided I need the in restaurant experience. Walking in the counter where you order is to the right and the dining table are to the left. You order and find your own seat and theb they will bring it to your table. The atmosphere is casual and fun and they even have a small market section. I had really wanted to try their pozole, but they were sadly sold out. I consoled myself with a Baja Shrimp taco and a carne asada taco with a pineapple Mango Agua Fresca to drink. To start the pineapple Mango Agua Fresca was delicious and refreshing. It's not overly sweet and the mango helps to tame some of the tartness of the pineapple. The tacos were amazing. The shrimp in the Baja taco were huge and perfectly cooked and the chipotle aioli had a hint of spice and really paired well. The carne asada taco was a little more mild and was topped with an avocado sauce. Overall, this is ts the type of fare I'm looking for when the craving for Mexican food hits and I will definitely be back.

Yelp
AMAZING! I love this spot-- it's my new go to taco shop!! It's an order at the counter shop. We ordered the cochinita pibil taco, pork al pastor taco , and brisket barbacoa taco. The toppings on the barbacoa made this taco a 10/10!! I enjoyed all the salsas to choose from. There is a salsa for everyone! The creamy jalapeno was spicy and creamy. The queso and chips are great for sharing. The staff was so kind and happy to serve us. It's a very vibrate place with plenty of seating.

Yelp
Yeah, this place is great. Do I wish I didn't have to drive 30 minutes to get there? Yes. Do I care about losing that precious time out of my day? Not at all, it's that good. All I can report on is the Potato Pipian and Mushroom Mole tacos. They are both righteously delicious. I get them every time. Oh, and the guacamole doesn't disappoint either. If you're one of those people who prefer meat-based options, I'm guessing those are quite good as well, judging by how my wife devours them with a savage intensity. The atmosphere is casual and fun, the servers are super friendly, plenty of drink options, and you can do a little grocery shopping while you're there. What's not to love?

Yelp
Taco Naco, for us (man and I anyway) not our cup of tea. I think I'm too much into wanting standard Mexican fare rather than the artisanal. I think it was another Saturday that we were here and it was quite busy. Thankfully for us there was no line...which gave us time to struggle with the self-ordering screen. We ended up giving up and just ordering at the counter - a tamale to share, tacos (pork al pastor, shrimp, and fish) and a chicken burrito. The tamale was good - definitely more traditional vibe that we enjoyed. As far as the tacos and burritos - good but not amazing...again not for us. Everything was a la carte, so we didn't end up getting chips and salsa (which is fine as our favorite spot doesn't do that either), but we were disappointed that we didn't get any good hot salsas with our food. Sure there were the hot sauces on the table...but you always want a good hot salsa...or at least we do. A good spot, but given my So Cal Mexican food pickiness and his overall meh feeling we probably won't have this in regular rotation...except for the occasional delivery order.

Lisa S.

Yelp
Sorry to say, out of five take-outs three had either the wrong items or a missing item. Tonight, my husband's tamales from the State Line Road store were so dry and hard, he couldn't cut them with a fork. We give up.

Yelp
I first tried Taco Naco at the Overland Park Farmers Market and had to visit their restaurant just down the block! I've tried nearly every taco on their menu throughout the year, and my absolute favorites are the birria tacos and fried fish tacos! What sets Taco Naco apart is how they keep things authentic but add a kick to their tacos which makes them stand out from other places. If you're a first-timer and can handle the heat, I highly recommend trying their six-salsa sampler! My personal favorite is Peanut Matcha, it is super spicy but I always buy 16oz Peanut Matcha to enjoy it at home. The service is great too. You order at the counter, and they bring the food right to your table. The staff is super friendly and welcoming! The ambiance is really interesting as well. It has a vibe similar to taco spots inside Mexican grocery stores, but it still feels like a proper restaurant. There's even a small section where they sell produced goods, adding to that authentic feel, but at the same time, it's a place to sit down and enjoy a good meal. Plenty of seats, including indoor and outdoor patios to enjoy your food! Taco Naco is easily in my top 3 taco joints in town!

Yelp
I've seen a few advertisements online for Taco Naco, so when I was looking for a nearby place to grab lunch with a friend, this place popped in my mind! I was very excited to order after looking over the menu. I decided to try the pork al pastor, cochinita pibil and carne asada chimichurri. The pork al pastor was just okay, as the meat was slightly dry. The cochinita pibil was definitely a standout with slow roasted pork that was perfectly tender and beautiful chipotle aioli on top! I definitely considered ordering another one, but I simply had no more space after three tacos and the amazing chips and guacamole! This section is to highlight the guacamole because it was just that good! What do the people say? Holy Guacamole! It is hands down the best guac I've had in the metro area! There is a market inside of the restaurant and I saw multiple people come in just to purchase it! I had a great experience overall! The food was delicious, the staff was friendly and the restaurant was clean!

Yelp
If you're looking for some good tacos and burritos in town, I would try Taco Naco. This place delivers on flavor, freshness, and quality. The burritos are packed with delicious, well-seasoned fillings, wrapped in a fresh tortilla. The carne asada in the tacos are tender and pair well with the pico. Beyond the food, the atmosphere is vibrant and welcoming, and the staff are friendly and attentive. I do wish they had a station for salsas and extra taco additives. But they do give you plenty for each taco. I also really like the grocery store aspect of the restaurant as you can shop for sauces and other authentic goods!

Yelp
This is such a cute and cool spot to grab authentic tacos and a drink! Love to bring my kiddo here!

Yelp
Such amazing food, Some of the best tacos in the city! Their passion fruit margaritas are to die for! Knowledge staff on gluten allergies, my mom has celiac and she hasn't gotten sick here!

Yelp
The service was great. Our wait was not long at all. The food was excellent. You could dine in or dine out on the patio. The weather was great so either way made the ambiance amazing. I had the Brisket Quesabirria!! Best I've had ever!!
google avatar

Julia M.

Yelp
Warning: seriously addictive tacos here I'm a sucker for some street tacos, and Taco Naco does not disappoint! I opted for a picadillo, pork, and chicken street taco and loved every bite. A side of chips and guac to share with a friend made it the perfect meal. The flavors were fresh, authentic, and perfectly balanced. If you aren't feeling tacos, there's plenty of other authentic options on the large menu. Service was fast and polite, and there's lots of seating inside and out. I even spotted some pups hanging out on the patio, so it looks like outdoor seating is pet friendly! Don't miss out on Taco Naco! I can't wait to head back.

Yelp
Tried out Taco Naco for the first time last month with the family - most of us are vegan so the options caught our eye.  The chips and salsa were great - the thin and crispy chips are the preference.  There were 2 vegan taco options - the Potato Pipan Taco and Mushroom Mole Taco.  We tried the potato tacos - tasty and a good size.  There was also a Black Bean Tostada that we made vegan by removing the crema.  Everything was delish and very fresh at a good value. Re: the website - believe that I will try to decipher a blurry pixelated photo taken from 20 feet away 6 months ago on another platform before I pretend to place a delivery order - please just have a pdf menu on there.

Yelp
Taco Naco is one of my favorite Kansas City spots! Whenever I have people visit I ALWAYS take them here! Their food always tastes so fresh, everything on the menu is amazing! The staff are always friendly and helpful. The Overland Park location can sometimes be hard to park at, but they have a variety of seating options inside or on the patio. I love the breakfast tacos and queso, but there's no going wrong here. DEFINITELY RECOMMEND!!

Yelp
Some of the food was good and some items could be better in my opinion. I've always said you can tell if the food is going to be good by the flavors of the rice and beans. Not the case here. Beans were bland and the rice could use more seasoning. That being said the quesadilla was really good as were the tamales. The tamales had a good kick so if you don't like spicy I'd stay away. The burrito was ok. As you walk in you order from and pay at the service counter. You then grab a number and sit wherever you'd like and they will bring your food. There is no fountain machine, only bottled and canned sodas and beer along with two dispensers for water. Lots of tables and plenty of seating. They have a mini retail store and sell a variety of merchandise. This is more Mexico style cuisine cooking so was happy to try it. I'll be back to try it again some time. Also just know that everything is à la cart and can be a little pricy.

Yelp
Have I been living under a rock???? Taco Naco is the way to my heart. I've heard so many good things about this place. When you step into Taco Naco, you would order first, get your number and find a table to sit and they will bring the food out to you. The menu was a bit overwhelming because there were so many delicious options to choose from! The cashier was very friendly while I was looking at the menu to decide on what to get. She also provided some recommendations and popular items. I ended up getting the quesabirria tacos and that was the best birria I have ever tasted! I will definitely come back and visit to try all of their other menu items.

Yelp
The food was very tasty and satisfying. The food came very quick and was amazing. Lastly I felt very pleasant in here.

Yelp
This Taco Naco is what feels like an upgraded hole-in-the-wall place. The service is a bit slow but they do get a lot of traffic so that's understandable. I have been here enough to have tried all their margarita options and then some. I like the variety but they seem to be hit or miss when it comes to consistency. Sometimes they can be easy sippers and great, other times, they are unbalanced and come off as really dry and overpowered by alcohol - some may like it that way, I do not. The food is pretty good, I wouldn't venture to say authentic, but a lot better than other options locally. One issue I have is with their torta. For me, this is my favorite to order at Mexican restaurants. Taco Naco, for some reason, does not offer normal tortas, which should essentially just be a Mexican sandwich. The torta (only one option) here just has a tamale in it. They already have all the fixings to make tacos, I cannot imagine it is difficult to put some of the same exact toppings into the bread roll instead of a tortilla. The tamale torta isn't great, it just doesn't work out well. Outside of the torta and inconsistent drinks from the bar, the tacos are pretty darn great! If you were interested in their birria, TRY IT! The birria may not be ground breaking if you are already familiar with them, but I can near guarantee that you will enjoy it if you want to try something new outside of tacos and burritos. One last thing that I greatly appreciate is their shop. There is an assortment of various snacks and hot sauces that I have found a bit difficult to find at any normal grocery store in the KC area. I am definitely guilty of taking like 80% of a particular hot sauce off their shelf and building up my stock at home. I am happy to come in for more of my favorite hot sauce, but I will definitely come back in more often if they get more consistent with their margaritas and sell traditional tortas.

Kenneth F.

Yelp
Food could not be more overpriced. $70 for 3 people. Taste was not good taco isn't a taco. It's flat shell with ingredients. Won't be back
google avatar

Anu K.

Yelp
Gave this place a try after seeing several ig videos raving about this place and it did not disappoint. The tacos were made fresh in this cute place. You order at the counter and then are given a number to place on the table. Food is brought out to you pretty quickly starting with our refreshing drinks followed by our nacho and tacos. It's not your typical authentic style tacos as I wished but it was still a good random night out to get some food.

Yelp
We visited Taco Naco during a recent trip to OP and the only thing I'm sad about is how long I waited to try this location! I've visited their Westport location before, but this was a first for my taco-loving mom and sister. We all gave it five stars. The chips were the ideal thickness, crispy, and seasoned with tahin. The tacos, especially the brisket barbacoa which remains my favorite, were out quick and were absolutely delicious. We all loved the little grocery store inside--my mom especially appreciated it. We're already planning to return to sample more of their salsas. The guacamole was exactly to my liking: fresh with generous chunks of onion and tomatoes. Taco Naco has won me back, and I'm already looking forward to my next visit!

Jocelyn H.

Yelp
I have never had a bad experience. Everything on the menu is Amazing and their margarita's are super cute and yummy. On the stronger side but that's how i like it. Food is always fast too
google avatar

Alex P.

Yelp
Second time coming and not more impressed. We got the guacamole which is good, but the chicken and pork al pastor tacos are bland and taste very American style fast food Mexican food. The tamales are ok, but probably not worth coming here for. I wouldn't recommend this plac

Yelp
We celebrated my best friends birthday tonight at Taco Naco and i absolutely loved it! Food: It was so yummy, i topped it with the habanero salsa and it was the perfect touch of spice! (it is spicy, but they have a chart with all their salsas and their spice level to give you a visual of how spicy they are! On top of that the SERVICE OMG - fernanda was going around the restaurant making sure everyone was doing well, brought us extra sauces and made sure my friends birthday was so special! Overall I loved the food, the ambiance, and the service! I will definitely be visiting again!

Yelp
My wife and I met some friends here on a busy Saturday night, and had a good first experience at Taco Naco! We had all heard great things about the tacos (and burritos and more!) happening here, so we thought it was high time to hit this long-overdue and well-hyped spot! We were not left disappointed! There was easy access right off Metcalf Avenue in OP and ample parking, even on a Saturday evening. The line we encountered was about 15 folks long, but moved quickly! The menus are above the counter, and nice and bright! Ohhhh, the choices! I had heard amazing things about their breakfast burritos, their birria, and also the tacos. We ended up with chips and cheese and guac for the table, and I was easily talked into an assortment of three tacos from the extremely helpful attendant at the register. I had one shrimp, one asada, and one al pastor - a good selection! All were FANTASTIC!!! I would call the "style" of tacos here "elevated street"... the size, setup, and proteins were of the style of "street", but there was SO MUCH MORE going on than a simple protein, onions and cilantro with these! Maybe my FAVORITE thing of the evening was the selection of dips/salsa/hot sauces! My favorite was the peanut sauce - I used it on all three of my tacos, and it was incredible on all of them! The cost per taco wasn't cheap, but due to all the amazing protein and ingredients on each one, I wouldn't say it was overpriced. Spot on for what you should expect. The dining room is well lit with a good amount of seating! Even though we arrived during Saturday evening rush, we didn't have an issue getting a table for six. Food = 5/5 Facility = 3/5 Service = 4/5 Ambiance = 3/5 Value = 3/5

Yelp
What a warm and welcoming place this is! The staff was so friendly and helpful. The place is clean and vibrant with a patio outside in the back and some chairs and tables along the front sidewalk as well. I probably should have studied the menu before I got there because you do order at the counter and they bring the food to you. Our table ended up trying the queso, the guac and the salsa and chips. I thought the queso and guac were really good. The chips (and you get quite a lot of them) are flavored with some type of seasoning that adds a nice touch.. I tried the tostada because I wanted to compare it to our normal order at our favorite taqueria in Martin City. It was good, but I would still choose Taqueria Dos De Oros for both value and flavoring when it comes to tostadas alone. This is a place that we will return to and I feel confident that I will find several favorites here!
google avatar

Denise T.

Yelp
YUMMY! Fun little setting with food and drinks that were off the chart delicious. My son had the surf and turf burrito that included curly fries. I'm allergic to cumin, so I chose a cheese quesadilla with guacamole. The bar menu was tempting and the staff was fun and friendly.

Yelp
Stopped by Taco Naco for brunch on a Sunday. It got busier as I was there, so I recommend going on the earlier side. It is an order at the counter kind of place. I got the birria tacos and they were incredible. I'd go back in a heartbeat! Definitely stop by if in the area.

Yelp
We tried Taco Naco KC for the first time and were not disappointed! We ordered the Brisket Quesabirria Tacos, one Baja Shrimp Chorizo Taco, one Pork Al Pastor Taco, one Carne Asada Chimichurri Taco, one Brisket Barbacoa Taco, and a side of Esquite Street Corn and chips. Everything was absolutely delicious and well-priced. You place your order at the counter and then get it delivered to your table. Service was great! It was a smaller building but had plenty of seating indoors and outdoors.

Kavita V.

Yelp
Love the sweet potato tacos. Not a fan of the mushroom one. Drinks were ok. Very casual and comfortable place. Definitely going back to try other dishes.
google avatar

Beth M.

Yelp
Definitely order the street corn side, it's elote with white cheese. So good! Breakfast burritos are always a hit with our family and I get the loaded nachos for dinner. Next I'm going to order the rice bowl. I am vegetarian so cannot speak for the meat dishes, but they look amazing. The service is quick and everyone is friendly. The restaurant is part diner and part market, which is unique for this part of OP. The decor is simple but enjoyable.

Yelp
After hearing nothing but good things, I finally was able to try this place out! I just wanted a simple and quick lunch, so I ordered an egg and cheese breakfast burrito. I placed a takeout order online and it was ready when I got there. It was still hot and the shell was crispy! The burrito by itself was great, but the green salsa that was served on the side made it PERFECT. Not spicy, but just added the right amount of flavor. I can't wait to go back and try more of their menu!
google avatar

Sydney C.

Yelp
Such a fun trendy taco joint! I got the quesabirra tacos and wish it came with more because they were so yummy. I do wish the drinks weren't $10 for a small plastic cup. Service and vibes otherwise were so good

Yelp
Was craving tacos the other night and landed on this local taco shop in my neighborhood. There's two different ways that you can place your order you can go to the person at the register or you can use their kiosk. My partner and I decided to try the Luckys burrito XL. It was a gigantic burrito, smothered in queso dip, filled with pork Al pastor. We also shared queso and chips and got a few à la cart tacos that included pork Al Pastor Carne Asada and brisket Barbacoa. The pork al Pastor was probably my favorite, It was topped with pineapple, relish and cilantro aïoli. I was surprised how good it was based on how cheesy the logo looked. But once we got inside, it was almost like a little Mexican market where you could buy fresh made salsa to take home as well as avocados and other vegetables. I will absolutely be back, especially since it's so close to home.

Yelp
EVERYTHING we ordered here was amazing!! The margaritas were flavored perfectly, salsa sampler introduced me to some of my new favorite flavors (peanut? who knew!), fish tacos and carnitas tacos were juicy and delicious. The service is fast and it's neat to have the tienda in the restaurant as well. I love it!

Yelp
I love the site itself! The piñatas the mini market feel is great! The shrimp chorrizo tacos were super flavorful and filling! They are about $4 a taco and come with a side of raw veggies! The queso was good! I hated how salty the chips are.

Yelp
My husband and I are always looking for good taco places. Taco Naco did not disappoint. The staff is friendly and helpful. It has a fun and colorful taqueria and market atmosphere. We love the fact they have food allergy lables on the menu. The variety of tacos, salsas, sides, desserts and other eats and drinks are just enough to keep you going back for more. All the drinks are bottled, except the margaritas and horchata. They even have a recycling bin for the glass bottles. We plan on returning and trying the desserts and other menu items. Today we tried the chicken al pastor, pork al pastor, carne asada, and brisket barbacoa tacos along with chips and queso. We only had one minor complaint; the chicken was a little dry, but had food flavor. We enjoyed our lunch and will definitely rerurn.

Yelp
I can not tell you how much I think about the Potato Pipian or Potato and Egg breakfast burrito, like almost on a daily basis that burrito just pops in my head and there I am, ordering away. Clearly, that's what I'm recommending when you try this place out! The size of the burrito is a tad bit on the smaller side, so keep that in mind. I personally can finish 2, stretching it to 3, depending on the mood! I dip my little burrito in the mild salsa as well as the salsa verde! Add just the taddest bit of spice and freshness! Service here is great. Friendly faces, welcome to giving recommendations, and they bring your food over to you! There is plenty of indoor seating as well as a couple of outdoor chairs if the weather sees fit! Give this place a try and don't forget to try that Potato burrito yall!

Yelp
Another happy discovery in the Mid-West. FPO and I have actually been here twice and did take out once and I (for reasons that escape me) never got around to reviewing Taco Naco KC. The people here are always friendly and helpful. It's a combination restaurant and Mexican market. You place your order at the counter and they give you a number for your table. The food comes out really quickly and the portions are really good. The food is very flavorful. I had the Burrito XL with Chicken Achiote. FPO had the Burrito XL with Carne Asada. I'm amazed there were no leftovers to take home because each one felt like it was over a pound of meat, black beans, and rice. Usually when we're in the area Taco Naco KC is packed but we were here on a Friday mid-afternoon right in between the lunch and dinner crowds. It's a bright, friendly place with amazing food. Definitely and place to return to.

Yelp
Taco Naco is a tasty taqueria in the heart of downtown OP. Their menu features a variety of "artisanal" tacos, including meat, seafood, and 2 vegan options. Everything is a la carte at moderate prices - I'd love to see a taco pack or combo added to the menu. I enjoyed the chicken tacos which had a great flavor with pineapple and cilantro with a yummy crema sauce. The salsa with the chips and salsa was decent, and the serving size comfortably fed 4 of us. The shop itself is styled like a cafeteria, but it is clean and cheery. Grocery items line the walls if you want to take home salsas or other goodies. Overall - solid little spot to grab a taco with friends and family.

Yelp
Taco Naco is a much needed, wonderfully thought out addition to this part of downtown Overland Park. I've been a few times now, and what used to be kind of a sad little strip mall has been given new life with Taco Naco's wonderful flavors and fun little market they have inside. So far, my favorites are the breakfast burritos which are warm and just the right size to fill you up, and the birria tacos which are **chef's kiss** wonderful. Love that this is close to home and I know I'll be back soon!

Yelp
This place is amazing! Massive portions, reasonably priced. Staff was super kind, and willing to help. The street corn is amazing. I literally couldn't get enough. We will be back for sure!

Yelp
An explosion of flavour... and I am a picky eater. I'll definitely be back to try the rest of the menu!

Yelp
Lots of different drink and food options. The passionfruit margaritas was very good! And the tacos were good too! Would definitely go back to try other menu items. Presentation of the food was lovely. Quick service - received my food and drink pretty fast. The atmosphere is super colorful and cute. Loved that they had a little market to buy authentic goods.
